After many days of Lisbon and Porto walks, it was a welcome treat to not walk the hill.

Tips for future travelers

In our opinion the walking tours help you see the cities in a comprehensive way, verses just aimlessly walking and not knowing what you are seeing. For us it helps to navigate the city with more confidence.

Our guided tour was very thorough and infomative! Emanual Maia knew so much history and information. He helped us better understand Portuguese culture and life. Emanual took us to many interesting places that we would not have found on our own. Additionally, he made several restaurant recommendations and sent me links to them to explore later. Emanual was an excellent guide. He was very friendly and personal and treated us like family. Read more

A great tour of the obvious sites and tourist attractions. Friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Tips for future travelers

It would be advisable to do this tour before you walk the city on your own. We arrived in Porto the previous afternoon and so had already seen many of the sites the guide took us to. He obviously added much more to the history and stories of the city than our self tour.

Our guide Ricardo was awesome. We had another tour with the same tour company the next day, and everyone said Ricardo was the "Porto expert." We highly agreed!
