Scenic West Coast Paratrike Flight, Corfu

This high-flying adventure begins at the takeoff point just south of Pelekas, a small mountain village about 30 minutes southwest of Corfu Town. Here, you'll meet your experienced pilot and on-ground navigator, and receive a quick safety and equipment briefing. Then it's time to take a seat in the paratrike (a two-seated, motorized paraglider) and prepare for takeoff! As you take to the skies, you'll ascend up to 2,300 feet (700 m), giving you a bird's-eye view of the island as your pilot points out geographical features and shares fascinating facts via headset.

Your flight will focus on Corfu's wilder west coast, and you'll soar over dense forests, endless beaches, and emerald coves, spotting the lofty ruins of Angelokastro (a Byzantine castle), the endless golden sands of Glyfada, and the distant shape of Mount Pantokrator (the island's highest mountain) to the north. After about 25-35 minutes in the air (twice the length of a standard paragliding flight), you'll circle back for a smooth landing. You won't have to rely on memories to relive your epic flight—you'll also have the chance to film the entire experience with a GoPro, and receive the footage afterward at no added cost.
