Overview
Situated on a hill in the picturesque city of Rethymno, the Archipelagos Hotel offers an unparalleled view of the Cretan Sea and the historic Venetian castle, Fortezza. The hotel is just a block away from the beach and a relaxing 15-minute stroll from Old Town. The bus station is a 10-minute walk, while Chania is an hour away and Heraklion is just under an hour and a half by car.
The hotel's 74 rooms are simple and bright, featuring a range of amenities. Some have the added luxury of private pools and kitchenettes, although all of them include balconies. Whether you snag your own pool or not, you can always take a dip in the hotel's communal pool overlooking the sea. Larger rooms can accommodate up to four guests with sofabeds.
