Our time aboard the MC Treasure was outstanding from start to finish. The yacht is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and designed for an amazing Galápagos experience. The cabins were spotless and cozy, the common areas were spacious, and everything felt both welcoming and luxurious. But what truly sets the MC Treasure apart is the crew. Every team member was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. They anticipated our needs before we even asked, made us feel completely at home, and added so many thoughtful touches throughout the trip. The food was fantastic, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere on board was relaxed and friendly. Combined with the remarkable Galápagos landscapes and our excellent guide, this yacht made the journey unforgettable. The Galapagos was truly an amazing adventure! Paul planned and implemented a wonderful trip! All the travel and tours were handled very professionally and the accommodations were excellent. Alex and Robert made sure we were all on the bus, boat, or airplane, as planned. Our excellent guides Javier and Karem led us on adventures every day. We had a clean, modern room at the Acacia with a lovely central patio area for gathering. The staff was very friendly, honest and professional. They made sure we had a delicious breakfast with our coffee every day and provided tips on where to eat dinner. Highly recommend this hotel.

The trip and all the arrangements were amazing. All the guides and drivers were where they were supposed to be and everything went off without a hitch!
The Monserrat yacht was a bit of a disappointment. The cabins were much smaller than the pictures implied, and the storage space was inadequate. The guides, Javier and Karem, were excellent; however, there should be more information provided BEFORE the trip detailing the level of activity involved. We found that some of the hikes were too... The Monserrat yacht was a bit of a disappointment. The cabins were much smaller than the pictures implied, and the storage space was inadequate. The guides, Javier and Karem, were excellent; however, there should be more information provided BEFORE the trip detailing the level of activity involved. We found that some of the hikes were too strenuous for my wife. While she was okay with skipping some of them, she was disappointed that she missed out on some of the wildlife and scenery she was hoping to see.
The Quito excursions were well done and our guides, Alex and Roberto, were very capable, friendly and well informed.
The hotel accommodations, the Patio Andaluz in Quito, the Acacia Hotel in Puerto Ayora, and the Holiday Inn in Quito, were excellent! The hotel staffs were uniformly friendly and quite welcoming. We would recommend all of them!

The cabins were much smaller than implied by the pictures on their website. The storage space was inadequate (we ended up storing one suitcase in the shower); and the bathroom was small and somewhat awkward to use. While the yacht was in generally good condition, there were some areas that needed attention (sticking windows, minor rust, etc.). The onboard excursion staff was very good. They were very informative and very competent. And very friendly! The crew was friendly too but suffered from some communication miscues as English was not always understood. It did create some confusion at meal times. The ship did not offer any diet soft drinks.

While this was a more conventional hotel, and did not have the charms of the other hotels, it was a very nice property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was quite good, with a nice selection of food choices and reasonable prices. The rooms were quite comfortable with all the necessary amenities.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Puerto Ayora! The rooms are large, very well appointed, and the beds are very, very comfortable! Carolina and her staff were wonderful- very friendly and helpful, with excellent recommendations for dining. The included breakfast was amazing- fruit, yogurt, granola, fresh juices, eggs cooked to order, various breakfast meats, toast, potatoes- if you left hungry it was your own fault! Highly recommended!

Fabulous location; excellent staff - warm and welcoming! The hotel building is a historic location and has been completely renovated. Lovely large rooms with comfortable beds. The only negative is the spiral staircase to the upper level bedroom- rather steep and narrow and a bit difficult to maneuver in the dark. Otherwise, a nice hotel!

I had the most incredible journey to the Amazon rainforest and the Galapagos Islands, all thanks to Tamar! As a single mom traveling with my six children, I needed someone who was reliable and could handle all the logistics, and Tamar exceeded my expectations along with his assistant Ariel.

From the very beginning, Tamar made himself available 24/7 ensuring that every detail of our trip was meticulously planned. With six kids, each having their own opinions, I didn’t have the time to manage transfers to and from airports, activities, hotels, and the like. Tamar took care of everything, allowing us to focus on making memories together.

I also wanted an action-packed itinerary, and he delivered! We were out of our rooms nearly every morning by 5 AM and going strong until 6 PM, exploring the breathtaking beauty of the jungle and islands. Each day was filled with adventure, which kept my kids entertained and happy.

Whenever I had questions about dress attire or other travel concerns, Tamar was just a phone call or text away, always ready to assist. His responsiveness and attention to detail made all the difference.

Overall, this trip was a fantastic experience thanks to Tamar’s dedication and expertise. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to explore South America!

Milton served as our personal guide for almost three days in Quito, and he was a huge reason our experience was so positive. He was always punctual with a clean car, and offered great conversation, allowing us to learn about life in and history of Quito. We’d love to work with him again!

Our time on Santa Cruz was also wonderful, with knowledgeable and friendly guides at each activity. We particularly loved the excursion to North Seymour island and all of the wildlife we had a chance to see up close and personal. The catamaran for the trip was very nice and it made the trip even more special, with a chef on board who cooked a delicious lunch. Our guides for El Chato tortoise reserve and the Darwin museum were friendly and very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. Every meal accommodated our vegan diet and the food exceeded expectations. The Acacia Hotel was also beautiful with 10/10 service. We spent no time waiting or figuring out transit or logistics, allowing us to fully relax and make the most of our time in Galapagos.

Isabela was also a wonderful time, very different from Santa Cruz as it is more remote and quiet. Our first day itinerary included a 2 pm trip to Los Tintoreras with snorkeling, kayaking and hiking. However, we weren’t picked up until 3 pm and only had a chance to kayak that day as it was getting late. We weren’t given a chance to walk on the Tintoreras or see the reef sharks, which was a bit disappointing. Luckily we rescheduled snorkeling for the next morning, but without a guide, didn't get to snorkel at Los Tintoreras.

A big highlight was the Sierra Negra volcano hike. The guide was very knowledgeable and the trip was well timed with a small group, and absolutely gorgeous.

Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this adventurous yet relaxing trip!

Great location right on the beach and walkable to restaurants and shopping. It was a noisy being next to a soccer field and with the pool in the middle of the hotel, and felt a bit run down as it was an older space. Overall, good service with recommendations on local restaurants and activities.

We have NEVER worked with a more amazing company!!!!! Paola was INCREDIBLE!!!! She catered to our every need. My husband and I are 70 years old. We had to be particular about our activities. Paola took everything into consideration to make the trip suit our needs. We are birders. Paola made sure we would achieve our goals. Our guides were personable and knowledgable. I actually cried when I entered our hotel and looked from the balcony. It was that perfect! We will return, and we will use KimKim wherever we plan to travel.

It was a lovely boat trip over! My son and husband enjoyed diving. I was welcomed to the top of the boat, to take pictures of birds! Then the walk to Punta Pitt was incredible. Red-footed Boobies with young in nests. A bird photographers dream!

This was our favourite day! The boat trip was a bit rough, but that was to be expected. Birds! Birds! Birds! And Nicholas could help us identify birds on the ocean.

Our trip to the Galápagos was truly unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Tamer and our local contact, Ariel, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Traveling with a 12-month-old daughter could have been challenging, but they personalized the trip in such thoughtful ways that we always felt comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy ourselves fully.

The islands themselves are breathtaking—spectacular views, dramatic landscapes, and incredible wildlife everywhere you look. The activities were seamlessly organized and offered just the right balance of adventure and relaxation. Snorkeling was a highlight, with crystal-clear waters and amazing marine life, while the hike up Sierra Negra was an awe-inspiring experience we’ll never forget.

Thanks to the care and professionalism of the team, we were able to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime trip without stress. I would highly recommend both Kimkim and this wonderful team to anyone considering the Galápagos.
