8-Day Jordan Experience with an extra night in Petra

Group of 2 friends visited Jordan in April 2017

“We are looking for a trip similar to your 8 days Jordan experience trip insight. But we would like to stay in Petra for one extra day, can you give us more ideas of what to do in Petra. And we want to see Petra at night. Can you arrange it for us?
We are group of three young ladies. We are planing to travel from 1st to 9th April. I would like to know the accommodation choices during the tour, we are aiming for 4*hotels. We are okay with 3 people in a room or a double room plus a single room. I am looking forward to hearing from you:) Thanks!”

My name is Tala and would be happy to assist you in putting together an itinerary that best suits your schedule and interest. Petra site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theaters, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. You could spend five to six hours exploring, or twice that time depending on your preferences. For example on the 1st day in Petra you can visit the main trail (This trail is the most visited trail in Petra, the trail starts from the visitor center of Petra through The siq to The Treasury, then The royal tombs, The colonnaded street, and finally The Girl's Palace.) and then have Petra Kitchen cooking class. It offers an evening of learning, fun and a very special dining experience, where you will be guided through how to prepare a traditional Jordanian meal, from dips and appetizers, to a main course and dessert.

On the second day in Petra if you are fit, we can offer a day hike in Petra like hiking Al Madras trail or hike from Little Petra to Petra and enter Petra from the back way. (please let me know if you are happy with that and which option do you prefer the most).

Also kindly note that Petra by Night runs every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. If you happen to be in Petra during these days definitely will add it to the itinerary.

Hi Tala,
Thanks for your reply. Perhaps one day is enough for Petra, as we are not interested in the Petra Kitchen cooking class, neither hiking on the second day of your plan. We would like to take one full day to explore the ancient town. However, we really want to see Petra by Night, can you make sure we can add it to our itinerary. I think we would like a tour exactly the same as that 8 day Experience Jordan Tour with Petra by night.

Well noted. I have another question, would you like to hire a licensed guide or a driver only?

We would like to have both. Thanks!

Tala Dabain
Thank you for your swift reply.

Will be able to share with you the itinerary on Sunday as Fri and Sat is weekend here in Jordan. Please let me know if that is okay with you.

Yes its okay. I am looking forward to it. ;-)

Hello. Attached please find the detailed itinerary and offer. Hope it meets your expectations.
Can you please advise the below:

1. Are you happy with the itinerary?
2. Would you like us to proceed?
3. Arriving date?
4. Departing date?
5. Flight details once confirmed.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you very much for all the information you provided so far. I am one of the other two :)
And we are considering perhaps removing the snokeling form the itinerary since one of us may not be joining.  Or if possible, could it be excluded from the total price for the time being and we could later decide if we want to do it on spot?

All the best

Tala Dabain
Yes definitely we can remove it. Would you like us to replace it with another service/ activity like Berenice beach club with full use of the pools and beach access for the day including lunch? or just remove it and mention that you will have a free day in Aqaba?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
