Day 1: Arrive in Ubud
Welcome to Bali! You'll arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), and a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Ubud, about one hour and 30 minutes away. During the drive, you'll see the island's twisting roads, quaint villages, and terraced rice fields.
Once you arrive in Ubud and check in at your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day and evening free to relax. You can explore the town's boutiques and cafes, take a yoga class, and try some authentic Indonesian food.
Day 2: Day-Trip to Bali Swing
Today your driver will take you to the ecotourism hot spot known as Bali Swing, an outdoor theme park filled with ziplines and rope swings. You'll be surrounded by sprawling jungle, fresh air, and steep cliffs, so get ready to embrace your sense of adventure.
For those who aren't keen on adrenaline, you can also find waterfalls, a swimming pool, and incredible views of the surrounding jungle. Once you've gotten your fill of adventure, you can continue to explore the area with your driver, perhaps visiting a local market, Sacred Monkey Forest, or stopping for a traditional Balinese restaurant for lunch.
In the evening, you'll return to your hotel for a relaxing evening to get ready for your next day of exploration.
Day 3: Nusa Lembongan Island - Seminyak
You'll have an early morning today as you'll pack up and sail off to Nusa Lembongan Island for a snorkeling adventure in paradise.
The island is still part of Bali, and it's only 30 minutes from Sanur Harbor by fast boat. You'll discover that Nusa Lembongan is famous for its hidden white sand beaches and excellent waves for surfing. The island is rich in marine life, including colorful fish and majestic coral, which you will see during your snorkeling trip.
At the end of the day, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Seminyak.
Day 4: Free Day in Seminyak
You'll have the entire day free to relax and enjoy the beach in Seminyak.
If you'd like to visit a temple, you can take a 10-minute cab ride to see the centuries-old Pura Petitenget, which was built to ward off evil spirits.
If you'd like to enjoy the beach, you can advantage of the numerous beach outposts—some of which are outfitted with oversized bean bags and colorful umbrellas—book a snorkeling or scuba diving expedition, go horseback riding on the shore, take a surfing lesson, or go on a swim.
There are also a number of excellent restaurants and cafes you can try. Seminyak comes alive at night as the town has an abundance of nightclubs, or you can venture to the nearby town of Kuta for more themed clubs and bars.
Day 5: Departure from Ubud
It's time to say goodbye to Bali! After a final breakfast, your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you back to Ngurah Rai International Airport in Ubud where you can catch a flight home or on to your next destination.
