The overall trip was excellent, our tour Director Mr Sayeed coordinated our whole tour nicely

Most of the local guides were informative

Our driver Mr Ayub was very helpful, punctual, he tried his best to make our trips comfortable, one many occasions he went out of his way , sometimes at odd hours to help us

Most of the hotels/ Riads were OK

Riad at Fes was too crowded, front desk and other employees had hardly any times to answer of simple questions

Hope Desert camps had some evening entertainments

This was my wife and I dream trip and the KimKim team, specially our tour guide Faysal who help to make it a true dream come true.

One of the best vacation trip so far and we got to thank the KimKim team involved for it.



Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Faysal and we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had a great 9 days tour from Casablanca to Chefchaouen, Fes, Aït Benhaddou and finally to Marrakesh.



Faysal is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). We truly enjoyed the driving and the cities/places were we visit. The sceneries were beautiful and it was a relieve to have a designated driver/friend to help us explore some parts of Morocco. Faysal went above and beyond to not only guide us during the day to the planned places but also make sure we were taken care outside of his working hours (at night) to take us to places that we would like to visite such as nice hookah lounges in Fes and restaurant in Marrakesh (a huge thank you for that!).



The trip accommodations were so special that it really felt like home to both of us. All respect for Abdellah who did a great job planning our trip.

We had an absolutely amazing trip, from start to finish! Yassine was wonderful to work with to make our itinerary just perfect for us and what we wanted to do and see. He gave great recommendations and helped us build the perfect trip. Our driver (also Yassine) was fantastic and helped us get everywhere safely and very comfortably in his lovely large van. We really enjoyed our tours (our guide Hassan was wonderful), and the cooking class we took was a highlight. Thank you for helping us plan this once in a lifetime vacation!

We had an awesome trip. Yassime, our driver/tour guide, was an excellent, attentive driver! Fez was really interesting, especially because of Sayid, one of the best guides we have had. If you plan a hike in the Dades Valley, make sure to request Bob. The Monkey Finger canyon hike was spectacular! Thank you, Sharon!!! We will be back to Morocco!!!!

Morocco did not disappoint! We experienced a beautiful country with amazing hospitality and a rich, vibrant culture. From the moment we stepped off the plane our itinerary was in motion with every step well coordinated and perfectly timed. A special kudos to our driver, Ahmad, who was extremely accommodating, friendly, and professional. Having a driver made travel easy, fun, and the Mercedes van was super comfortable. No worrying about pick-up, drop off, parking, etc. Local guides were knowledgeable, prompt, and flexible. When we let them know our particular interests they were able to tailor our tours to meet our requests. Hafed in Fes and the food tour with Soufi in Marrakesh were definite high points. Each destination held a special fascination but highlights for me were the Desert Camp near Merzouga, the medina in Fes, and Ait Benhaddou. The Moroccan people were so generous to us and expressed genuine excitement to have tourists back after the pandemic.

What an amazing introduction to Morocco! We could not have been happier with our experience planning (and replanning due to Covid) this experience with Sharon. She was knowledgeable, patient and kind and became a friend during the process. When the trip finally happened, it was everything we had hoped for and then some. Yassine, our guide, was fantastic from the minute he met us at the airport. We got to see a bit of Casablanca before heading out to Rabat. From there it just kept getting better and better. The variety of trip, from the ethereal blue city of Chefchaouen, to the ancient Medina of Fez, to the GORGEOUS Sahara Desert, and the endless vibrant energy and colors of Marrakech….it’d be hard to pick a favorite part. Even the riads we stayed in were so far beyond our expectations….every single one. And even though Yassine was always full of interesting facts and insights, they also provided specialized local guides in some of the cities that guided us through back streets and ancient narrow passageways to tiny hidden local gems and old family shops we would never have found on our own. And we’re glad we did 2 weeks instead of only 1; there was SO much to see and do and it still felt like we were rushing. Two weeks allowed us to have a free day every now and then to just meander the streets on our own and get a better feel for the places. Overall, we had a great time in Morocco covering the imperial cities and the desert. Details below:

Online planning - Said and Abdel from Original Travels made it effortless to put together a schedule covering places and activities that we were looking for. They were very responsive and provided the right balance of options and flexibility in choosing places, hotels, activities, etc. This was our first time booking a packaged tour online, and we were very happy with the process. Said and Abdel put together an itinerary that allowed us to cover a lot of places and still give us sufficient time to explore places by ourselves.

The trip - The trip was amazing, covering the imperial cities with stopover in the desert and Atlas mountains. The itinerary and hotels/Riads selected by Original Travels were great - particularly the camp in the desert and the Riad in Marrakech. The local guides from Hafid in Fes to Hannan in Marrakech were knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured that we learned about the history and culture of the great cities. We were able to cover quite a bit of ground thanks to their encyclopedic knowledge of the amazingly complex Medinas.

But if we had to single out one individual who made our trip a success, it would be Faissal - a tour de force combination of driver, fashion icon, food critic, guide, and overall great guy! First and foremost, he provided safe and comfortable transportation getting us to places on time. But he was so much more than just that. He provided us with a lot of information about each place we drove through, picked out amazing places for meals, and would always point us to the best places for views and pictures. He kept us engaged and entertained, and was focussed on ensuring a great experience for us. He even saved the day by managing to retrieve my iPods that I had left behind in a hotel a hundred miles away. We highly highly recommend him!

I loved my trip around the country of Morocco. KimKim proved to be a wise choice when I was thinking of traveling independently, yet wanted backup coordination. Through them I connected with Original Travels based in Morocco. Mohamad was excellent and his choices of accommodations were perfect. The entire team there at Original Travels were always so helpful in answering any question I might have. Very responsive.

While I enjoyed much of Morocco, my time in the desert at the Azalai Desert Camp was amazing! Just what I needed. Ayaub was so wonderful. He cooked and attended me as if I were family. A very thoughtful and kind man. All three guys overseeing the camp were great, but a special thanks to Ayaub!

Azalai Desert camp is something very special, very cool. Loved it.

My absolute favorite of all things about my trip was my most amazing, kind and capable driver Soufian. It was such a joy to see him every day. He is a natural, capable driver and I could not have asked for a better match. He and I. I loved his company and he totally took care of whatever need I had. Soufian arrived each morning with a smile and always right on time. He is the best! A perfect driver and a special man. A special new friend for sure. He MADE my trip amazing. Our 10 day tour around Morocco was amazing! What a beautiful country with incredibly nice and gracious people! Our tour itinerary - in summary: Tangier-Chefchaouen-Fes-desert camp at Erg Chebbi-Ait Ben Haddou-Marrakech-Casablanca. I want to give a special shout-out to our guide and driver Ahmad - who was with us the whole time. Not only did he have lots of useful and interesting information about all our tour stops, he was with us the whole time and was forever flexible and available to our changing needs as we went. He worked incredibly hard to make our trip special and was always perfectly pleasant, prompt, and professional! I would say the desert experience at Erg Chebbi/Merzouga area was the most unique of the trip - but all of our stops were memorable and all of our tour guides deserve special mention as well. It was a wonderful trip organised by Mrs. Megan Lower. We really had a memorable experience and would arrange another holiday back in Morocco with Megan as well as the excellent driver Mr. Mohammed. From picking us up from the airport till he dropped us off from the airport, Mr. Mohammed was always curtious and on time; gave us lots of guidance on how, where, when, who questions we had as well as having great knowledge about the geology of the routes we encountered which I was particularly interested in. His english and french were of fluent level which was also important. Because it is a trip that includes lots of road time, I would think of the option of having Land-Rover (ours was a Toyota) to be driven in for some parts of the trip that includes the hills and off road for the next time. Everything went as planned, from the airport pickup to the departure after 8 days. The Riads were quite good, the breakfast excellent and above all the assistance and coordination by our driver Mohammed, was awesome. We did have a little issue with the hotel at Casablanca, on the last night, with the aircon not cooling, but it was too late for us to involve Hakim to intervene. The guides were quite adequate and of course, the weather and roads cooperated! Great trip, something to remember.

We loved our trip to Morocco. We started in Marrakech and from there we traveled to Dades Valley via Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, and then to Merzouga, in the desert, Fes, Mekbas, passing by Volubilis, an ancient Roman city, Rabat, the beautiful imperial city, and back to Marrakech.
At first, when arranging our trip, I was concerned about spending too much time in the car, but I am glad I let Sharon convince me otherwise. Marocco is such a wonderful country, with many different things to see. So, even the time in the car was well spent. Salam, the tour manager, in addition to being an excellent driver, is also an awesome human being, genuinely concerned about ensuring everything went well.
The trip to Marocco is definitely worth the time, and we highly recommend Sharon and her team. Everything went according to plan. We had no issues at all.

Dades Valley was a nice surprise, with beautiful geography with amazing views. Ait Ben Haddoun is a really beautiful village that was the site of several movies such as Gladiator and game of thrones.

We had an incredible time in Morocco! The tour was well put together, informative and fun!

We felt like we got a good taste of many parts of the country. Our driver Amnay was really good, and the local guides we were introduced to along the way were equally as good.

Sharon did a great job planning our trip, and her communication was brilliant! I would recommend to anyone :)

Our driver Mhammed was really great, he was already on time, lots of great chats, learned a lot about Morocco through him and especially loved our time in the Sahara with him, where he is from!

Megan was very quick to respond in messages when planning the trip. Would have appreciated knowing approximately how long driving was going to be on each day to be ready for some travel days being completely in the car. Didn't feel like we needed a driver for the 4 days in Marrakech, we could have organised taxi's separately for these days. Some of the driving routes didn't quite make sense, for example driving 2 hours to get to mountains biking each way and then another 4 hours to get to Ouarzazate was a bit excessive in terms of driving and missed a couple sites because of the sunset.

The activities overall were great, (woodworking, cooking class, tour of Marrakech/Fez, mountain biking, hiking, camel riding, atv in sand dunes). The cooking class has room for improvement.

The accommodation we also very much enjoyed.

There is a lot of room for improvement with this particular cooking class. First of all, all of the knives were very dull and made it hard to cut tomatoes or any vegetable. It seemed as if the cook and the translator were both very uninterested in being there, and they were arguing amongst themselves in Arabic. There was zero explanation about spices as mentioned in the class description. Also no explanation about what we were cooking or instruction. Just sort of copy what the chef was doing and hope for the best. We got to eat our meal on the nice terrace afterwards. The setting was very nice at this very posh luxury hotel, however the beautiful setting kind of took away from the authenticity of cooking a meal. I believe there are better more authentic cooking classes in Marrakech for better value.

We first started dealing with Ali in the planning phase of our trip. We communicated our desires in terms of budget, accommodations and itinerary. Ali came back with a great plan and then handed us over to a local contact Said and our driver for the week Sukhaina. From the minute we stepped off the plane we were attended to personally. Sukhaina was beyond wonderful! She is professional, well informed, attentive and so very personable! We felt so comfortable and pampered with her the whole week as we explored Morocco by car. I would say Sukhaina was one of the highlights of the trip! Can’t say enough!
I highly recommend a road trip method of exploring the country as you see the beautiful countryside and towns and can stop anytime for comfort or photo ops. Morocco has stunning natural beauty and it well exceeded our expectations. The accommodations in each town were superb and exactly what we like. The food was delicious everywhere.
I would highly recommend KimKim travels and I fact we will be using them again for our next adventure!

Absolutely amazing country. I would highly recommend a longer stay or fewer stops ro ensure your driving is minimized. However, the driver we had and each stop was Absolutely perfect.

My sister in-law booked our trip so I can only report on the planning experience second hand. We were very pleased with Sallam our driver and tour manager and couldn't imagine a more pleasant person to spend our time with. The cities we visited and the country side we rode through provided an encompassing perspective of Morocco. I learned a great deal about Morocco's history and culture. We enjoyed the local food and found the prices unbelievably reasonable. Our day tours were educational. We appreciated all of our city guides. We especially like Said who was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the co-ops where we were shown the artisans working on leather, jewelry, pottery, etcetera. It is good to see crafting traditions being preserved. Overall, I thank Kimkim for a wonderful vacation which was a great value.

My trip to Morocco was once in a lifetime experience. Megan was very helpful in finding us excellent Riads & hotels , she is quick to response if i have questions. There's 3 of us on this trip & were assigned to Hassan as our driver from Casablanca to Marakech. Hassan is very friendly & jolly and a joker at timeshare's like a brother to us, if we need a local food he took us to a place where we can taste local Moroccan food which we enjoyed . All the places that were selected by Megan were all excellent. Kamal our tour guide in Fes is also wonderful, We learn some history of Fes & took us to a beautiful restaurant. Our stay in Sahara desert was also excellent a high end tent with a/c & our own toilet. Our servers & entertainers the 2 Saeds & Mohammad work hard just so we can enjoy our stay and lastly Mohammad our tour guide in Marrakech did an excellent job touring us in the market area. above all we had a great time thanks for everything
