Hi - I totally recommend KimKim in Morocco for organizing your next trip. Our experience has been fantastic! The planning process - ahead of the trip - was a smooth ride. I continued to make quite a lot of changes to the itinerary, but Abdel and Said (with whom I communicated online via the kimkim website) remained calm and patient, and provided speedy and thoughtful answers to all my requests and questions.
Then, during the trip itself, we remained in touch with Said (via Whatsapp) to make small tweaks along the way. And also during that time Said was amazingly responsive and action-oriented.
The trip itself was glorious, because Morocco has a lot to offer. We are a family with 4 teenage kids (i.e.: sometimes hard to please!), and they all loved the surprising activities, beautiful hotels, impressive landscapes, the mix of cultures, and the great Moroccon food.
Also, the Kimkim team and I ensured we had sufficient variety in the program, and that we also had some downtime - during which we couldn't still anyway and organized a few optional activities ourselves (e.g. hammams, cooking class). :-)

In conclusion: What an amazing trip it was!

Original Travels is a fantastic travel agency for Morocco that we highly recommend.

We travelled through Morocco for three weeks in July-August 2022, as a family of three. The entire trip was organized by Abdel of Original Travels and his team, via KimKim. Based on information we provided regarding our interests and places we wanted to visit, Abdel proposed a fantastic and comprehensive 21-day agenda for us, which we were able to fine-tune and refine until we were fully satisfied with all aspects of it. Abdel then organized all practicalities of our trip, including booking all hotels/riads, local guides, and a private car with driver. The planning of our trip prior to our departure was therefore extremely easy and smooth.

Once we arrived in Morocco, our entire journey unfolded exactly as stated in our programme, down to all the lovely details. The hotels/riads and guides that Abdel had chosen for us were all wonderful in their own unique way. Everything was ready for us when we arrived at each new destination, smoothly executed, and superbly organized.

A special highlight of our trip was our driver-guide, Karim, who quickly became a friend of our family. We travelled three weeks with Karim. He was a wonderful holiday companion! Karim is an extremely friendly person, always with a joyful smile. He is also highly flexible, very easy-going, always punctual, and absolutely professional in all ways. Karim comes from an Amazigh (Berber) family, which makes travel with him in the mountains and desert especially insightful and exciting. Karim is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Tamazight. He is an experienced driver and guide for all of Morocco and personally knows many of the local contacts and hotel/riad staff, which makes travel especially smooth and safe. Karim is also an excellent driver, who carefully and safely navigates Moroccan highways, mountain roads and the small alleys of the medinas. We would highly recommend Karim as your driver if you are planning a holiday with Original Travels. We have experienced first-hand how he can add immeasurably to the holiday experience.

In terms of hotels, we stayed in riads that Abdel of Original Travels had suggested within the medinas of Rabat, Tangier, Fes, Chefchaouen, Marrakech and Essaouira, and we highly enjoyed each one. There was something to love about each riad, whether it was the ambience, the location, the friendliness of the staff, the comfort level, or the delicious breakfasts. We have written reviews for all riads that we stayed in on both TripAdvisor and on their respective sites.
We are experienced travellers, thus chose to explore all cities that we visited on our own, except for Fes and Marrakesh, where we had local guides suggested by Abdel. All guides provided by Abdul were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us around and added a lot to our experience and understanding of the respective cities and sites.

In terms of practicalities, we transferred the entire payment for our trip (for hotels, local guides, car, driver, etc.) in advance to Original Travels. Everything worked out exactly as promised and planned, and we did not experience any problems throughout our trip.

Abdul and Said from Original Travels, and our driver Karim, were also very flexible and helpful when our return flight was cancelled, and we had to stay two days longer.

In short, we highly recommend Original Travels and Abdel and Said without any reservation, with special mention of Karim as our excellent driver-guide. We did extensive research before we decided to plan our holiday with Abdel and his team, and the various arrangements and services by Original Travels exceeded our high expectations.

Given this wonderful experience in Morocco, we will also definitely look to KimKim, who put us in touch with Original Travels, to help us plan trips to future destinations as well.

This is a lovely small and personal riad, run by three very friendly brothers, with excellent rooms and a wonderful view over the valley. Their restaurant offers the best food we had on our entire three-week Morocco trip, with a highly innovative fusion of Moroccan and other cuisines. This included the beautifully laid out breakfast but also both dinners, which we chose to eat there as well. There seems to be another riad with a similar name in the area, so carefully check for the name (ours was the Dar Rihana Dades, not the Riad Rihana Dades!). As for our local guide in the Dades valley, you must ask for Mohammed; he was one of the highlights of our entire Morocco trip.

We loved this camp and would highly recommend it. Perfect tents, wonderful staff, great food, and some lovely late-night folk singing in the middle of the desert – and do not miss the sunrise in the dunes. The camel safari that preceded our arrival here, and the 4-wheel drive ride back to our vehicle by camp staff through the dunes, were all very memorable! The management of the camp builds on ecological principles as much as possible, seeking to keep the environmental impact of the camp as minimal as possible. We loved our stay here!

A truly impressive Riad building. It comes over as a fairy-tale palace, with large ground-floor guest areas all luxuriously decorated with ornamental tiles, plants, and lavish furnishings. We had a very comfortable stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in all ways. There was also a huge roof terrace that we did not use, however, because of the mid-summer climate. Dinner at the Riad was also delicious.

This was a wonderful riad in the blue city, very beautifully renovated with a charming and friendly staff, and an excellent location, perfect to explore this marvelous city and wander around. We particularly enjoyed the indoor pool that could be used privately (by one group only at a time). It needed to be booked a day or a few hours in advance but that worked out smoothly. We also loved the massage service. The massage here was one of the best I have ever had!

We really enjoyed this riad. It is a bit larger than others and a bit more modern, sporting even an elevator, but the charm of a riad is unchanged. The location is great, the breakfast/dining area very charming. We particularly loved watching the sunrise and sunset from the beautiful roof terrace.

Half-Day Guided Tour of Marrakech

Our guide in Marrakech was a wonderful lady, Hanan Elaadi. Hanan was a very knowledgeable, and an extremely competent and professional guide, showing us in a calm, unhurried and comprehensive manner all the key sites of the Marrakech medina. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to her explanations and enjoying the Medina highlights with her. We also loved the opportunity to get to know more about her, including how she came to be a guide. It was a fascinating day for us. Hanan was also very flexible, accommodating our desire to go for lunch to a specific restaurant and focusing on parts of the medina that we were particularly interested in. We recommend her very highly!

I am so glad to have booked my trip with the KimKim team. From the start the communication in planning the trip was exceptional. The trip was organized exactly how we envisioned. We got to visit 4 cities in just one week and the way the trip was organized it allowed us to explore each city in a day and still get the full experience. Our accommodations (hotels/riads) were beautiful and the service was amazing by the hotel staff. Our local tour guides Mohammad and Mustafa did an amazing job in letting us explore Fes and Marrakech by providing us their expertise of the area.
I can’t write this review without saying a special THANK-YOU to our driver Karim without whom the trip wouldn’t have been the same. From the start by picking us at the airport Karim made sure we had a safe transfer to our first city. Karim always came with an amazing attitude each day and really showed us what Moroccan hospitality is all about. He went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Another added mention is how he would always share with us his own cultural background stories of his home Berber. He would also provide us with extra facts along our journey which just made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I know I will definitely be requesting Karim as our driver when I come back to Morocco with my family.

My fiancé and I recently booked an incredible trip to Morocco through Kim Kim and Wanderlust and we could not have been more happy! This was our very first time to Africa and every step of the process from start to finish was seamless and comfortable. For a very risk averse person such as myself, this prevented many a sleepless night worrying about accommodations, itinerary options and transportation, all of which can become a bit of a nuisance when trying to make the most of money and time.

Once we expressed interest in our destination, we were matched with Megan, an incredible advisor who was honestly a saint. I had so, so many questions, from recommendations on tipping to Roman ruin sites and much more. She was so prompt in responding through instant messenger and after we chatted for a bit, she sent me a fully formed itinerary that we could customize. The BEST! Payment through the online portal was simple and straightforward and adjustments in planning sites to see can be made even after the initial trip is finalized. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Now, for the really brilliant part. We totally lucked out with our guide, Hassan Amraoui. I can honestly say I've never met a person like him. Both my fiancé and I wholly believe the BEST part of our trip were the hours in between destinations simply talking with him. To be able to look back on a trip to AFRICA, with all its beauty and splendor, and think, "Wow, those hours spent in the car talking with our friend were the best part," is something I could have never predicted. He is a kind, engaging, considerate and a 100% genuine human being. He cared so much for our experience and wellbeing and we felt totally safe in his care. He shared his family history, his love of languages, cultures and people and made our trip the experience it was. I cannot begin to describe the relief and joy when, after getting off the plane in a new land after a 14 hour flight, you're met by a person such as Hassan, with the big smile and heart he has. I honestly consider him my good friend. If you are lucky enough to work with Hassan, this alone will make your trip outstanding.

All in all, this was truly a trip of a lifetime. My fiancé (then girlfriend) and I were engaged in Chefchaouen on this trip and Morocco will always hold a special place in our hearts. I will absolutely be using Kim Kim/ Wanderlust in the future and I give them my fullest recommendations. This is a truly stellar company. Hassan is a truly stellar human being. Much love to them all.

It is impossible to sum up in just a few words how AMAZING our trip was to Morocco!!! From the very beginning of planning Sharon was so easy to work with and planned an absolutely wonderful trip. Once we arrive in Morocco our guide Yassine made sure that our trip was everything we wanted and more. We immediately felt comfortable with Yassine and knew he would be a great guide. Traveling with young kids (5 and 6) can be challenging at times but Yassine has the patience of a saint and a true love for children. By the end of our trip we were all sad to have to say good bye and my kids ask daily, when are we going back to Morocco to see Yassine!

Our family really enjoyed our 12 day trip with Hassan all around Morocco. Before we left, Yassine helped us to design a trip that took into consideration a 10 year old boy who was not as interested in architecture and culture as his parents. Once there, Hassan always made sure we got everywhere we wanted to go and was great at finding some non-traditional things -like skipping regular sights to spend a few hours at a park playing basketball with some local kids. We had seen them earlier and Hassan drove back and helped introduce our son to the group and hung out for hours while they played and showed our son around. Hassan also gave us a card with our son’s allergies to show restaurants and invited us to a traditional break fast with him. It was really a special experience getting to travel Morocco with Hassan!

Fez to Merzouga: Over the Middle Atlas to the Desert, Erfoud, Merzouga & the Sahara

We had the most amazing time exploring Morocco with our guide (now someone we consider our friend and brother) Faysal! Not only is he so incredibly knowledgeable, but he is one of the warmest, kindest people we have ever met. He connected with every member of our family, and even arranged a special birthday dinner for one of the members of our group—with the band singing happy birthday and waitstaff bringing a cake with sparklers.☺️ We cannot say enough good things about Faysal, truly.

Our city guides, Hafid, Hanan, and Navid (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) were also very knowledgeable and a pleasure to tour with.

Thank you, Original Travel, from the bottom of our hearts, in helping organize a trip of a lifetime in beautiful, magical Morocco. This was a trip of a life time. Morocco is a beautiful country and the people are friendly.

We could have not planned a better trip on our own, and we’re grateful for Original Travel and KimKim for an excellent itinerary. Over 12 days we visited many cities with nights in Casablanca, Chefchaouen via Rabat, Fes, Merzouga, Boumalne Dades, Marrakech, and Essaouira.

Our driver, Tarik took care of us the entire trip, and we never felt unsafe. And our booking manager, Said was very responsive to our needs and made immediate adjustments to ensure our comfort. Original travels exceeded my expectations.

The highlight of our trip was all our stays at Riads inside the old medinas, our overnight camping in the desert at Erg Chebbi, dune racing on ATVs, and the sunrise camel ride.

Our drive over the Atlas Mountains into Marrakech was memorable.

- The King. Everyone loves the him.

Things to look out for
- The breakfasts in the Riads are all the same, carb heavy—breads, crepes, pastries, only eggs for protein, no meats, no variety. Hotels offer better breakfast variety.

- Request for vans with functioning seat belts in advance, if important to you. Be specific about the temperature you want at all points during the trip. Depending on when you visit Morocco during the summer, it’s very hot and heat can lead to exhaustion very quickly.

Our worst stay in Morocco overall. It was only staffed by a single person. The accommodation was not to standard compared to other Riads. We had to get our room switched. There was a cockroach floating in the pool at the courtyard and the attendant could care less. Bees harassed us at breakfast everyday.

The SUV ride into the desert camp was very aggressive and I almost hurt myself in the back.

We loved Morocco… and KimKim made it the best it could be.

Ilyace was our guide: Extremely professional and truly catered to all of our needs. Whenever we needed something, he would punctually help us. (E.g. going to the pharmacy right away when one of us got slightly ill). Truly cared about us and felt like a good friend.

Our daily guides were amazing! Especially these individuals: Muhammad in Fes, Osama in Marrakech, and Amed in Merzouga Also Mohammed in The Dades Valley was the best. Very funny and really welcomed us into his house for an unforgettable lunch and time with his family.

The visits with the Berbers in two different locations was amazing. Really got to understand the culture and their seemingly difficult life.

Riads: All were extremely beautiful and in great locations with excellent services! The best way we could have experienced Morocco.

Morocco was a trip that I will truly never forget. I was in Morocco for 9 days with my boyfriend and Karim was our personal driver. Not only was he our driver, but he is also very knowledgeable with the rich history and culture of Morocco! Throughout our trip with Karim, he would explain to us interesting facts about Morocco and the Berber life which made this trip a truly unforgettable cultural experience.

Karim is extremely reliable, trustworthy, personable, communicative and also very funny. He speaks perfect English, Arabic and Berber. He was also our personal translator. Karim is also Berber so he shared his knowledge to us about the Berber culture and the language. It was extremely interesting and intriguing to learn about his childhood in the High Atlas Mountains. We felt very lucky to have a driver like Karim.

On the night of our arrival to Casablanca, Karim messaged us to double check our flight times. Despite our flight being delayed and us arriving a little bit later than what we expected, he was already waiting patiently at the airport. We got out of the airport at almost midnight and was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming smile :). This was when we knew that we were going to have a wonderful trip.

Karim is a very experienced driver. His driving is very relaxing and calming (I had a few naps along some of the drives). He also knew a lot of places for great photo opportunities (my boyfriend and I have a gallery full of amazing photos thanks to Karim) and he was also a great personal photographer too!

Whenever we had activities planned that required Karim to pick us up from our hotel, he would always be punctual and wait at least 15 minutes before. Karim is extremely reliable. Whenever we finshed a tour or activity with a private guide, Karim would already be there waiting for us to finish and pick us up for the next activity. He assisted us with all of our hotel check ins, luggage and lunches, dinners, everything!

Thank you so much Karim for making our trip in Morocco an unforgettable experience. We were so lucky to have a driver like Karim, who not only drove us to places but who was also very informative about the Berber life, Moroccan culture and someone who felt like a friend.

A huge thank you to all the people involved in our amazing trip to Morocco 🇲🇦!
First let’s start with Yassine who planned the whole trip! Thank you ! You listened to everything we said and made our adventure perfect for us!
Arrive in Casablanca and Amine our driver is there and waiting for us with a big smile on his face which is how he greeted us every day or night! We can not say enough about Amine! He was always available and sssooo very helpful and sweet and kind! His driving was exceptional! We always felt save even in the mountains and the narrow streets in the medinas! He became a part of the family!
We asked Yassine to book us into the Four Seasons in Casablanca and next time I would have let him pick the hotel. It was fine but not up to the Four Seasons standard.
Amine suggested La Sqala for an authentic Moroccan dinner and it was perfect! We had tagines and the food and entertainment were a perfect start to our Moroccan journey!
Amine picked us up the next morning and we were on our way out of Casablanca! Yassine you were right to see the Hassan Mosque but then get out Casablanca! Amine drove us to Rabat with a few highlight stops and then we were on our way to Meknes and we stopped there but our first highlight of the trip was at the Roman ruins in Volubilis!!! Our guide Rashid was incredible!!! He was so knowledgeable and patient with me and how very slow I am at walking! He spent hours with us and we basically closed the place!❤️❤️❤️
Onwards to Fes and our spectacular Riad Fes! Yassine this was a perfect choice! You arrive at a nondescript door in an alley and then you walk into this stunning palace! Loved this Riad so much we canceled our tour of Sefrou so we could just relax by the pool at our Riad! The next day Amine picked us up and introduced us to our guide Hassan! Hassan was amazing! Again he was knowledgeable and took us to the tannery which was an eye opening experience! It was like going back in time 1,000 years! Thank you Hassan!
Our three nights in Fes was the perfect length of time. We explored the Medina with Hassan and then on our own! I can’t say this enough, the people in Morocco are so warm and helpful and kind! Going through the Medina without a guide was not scary and when we got lost anyone we asked was helpful in helping us find our way home! There are miles and miles of alleyways in the Fes medina!
The next day was our long long drive to the Sahara desert 🐪! There’s no way around this but I will say it’s totally worth the drive! This was my favourite part of the entire trip! Because of my hips I was not able to go into the desert on camel but Rob did and he loved it!❤️❤️❤️ I went to our campsite in a 4x4 vehicle and our driver made it so much fun riding over the sand dunes!!! 🤪 The campsite was amazing and the staff were great!!! I climbed up the sand dune and watched the sun set in the Sahara desert!!! The most memorable part of the trip !!
Onto Ouarzazate the Moroccan Hollywood! Poor Amine this was tough and long driving for him but he was always smiling and focused on the road! He is the best!! We enjoyed touring the movie set!
Our Riad was quiet and in the middle of nowhere but the person there was sweet and kind and helpful. The next day we visited Ait Ben Haddou and I think this was the highlight of the trip for Rob! Our guide was a character and as there was a lot of climbing and I had only brought sandals - Amine lent me his running shoes!!! 🥰 God bless him!
We had tea with a Berber family and climbed to the top of the site! It was breathtaking and Rob just wanted to stay at the top all night! ❤️❤️❤️
Now onto Marrakech and the long and winding road!!! Amine is an exceptional driver and he did an amazing job driving through the high Atlas Mountains on those narrow and winding roads!!! 👏🥰
Marrakech is a city like no other in the world! Rob loved the pulse! I loved our Riad Jardines de la Medina! Again a nondescript front door in a very narrow alleyway (poor Amine trying to get this big van down this alleyway!)You walk through this door into an oasis!!! This was my favourite Riad!!! Our room was incredible with two private terraces on two floors!!! Thank you Yassine for booking this treasure!!! I didn’t want to leave!! Our tour of the Medina the next day with Siad was good. It was too long for me but that’s not Siad’s fault! We walked for four hours through the Medina! I took the afternoon and the next day off and sat by the beautiful pool! It felt like a resort at Jardines de la Medina! We did go to La Tanjia for dinner and loved it!!! There was great Moroccan food and entertainment (belly dancers) and we were on the third floor overlooking a busy square! We had Tanjia which is different from Tajines. It was delicious! The hotel recommended this restaurant and I would highly recommend you add it to your list of restaurants in Marrakech!
The next day I had my Moroccan cooking class and this was another highlight for me!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
That night Amine took us to the big market with snake charmers and dancing and singing and stall after stall of everything imaginable. Rob loved it but I was overwhelmed!!! I definitely wanted to see it but it was too much and too crowded for me!
The next day we were back on the road again and headed for Essaouira! Our Riad Chbanate was very rustic and the staff was so sweet and warm and welcoming! I however, was done with markets and alleyways and medinas so I personally would have preferred a large hotel with a pool on the beach! Sorry this is nothing against the Riad Chbanate! I just wanted to go back to Jardines de la Medina! Rob went out exploring and came back for me in the afternoon and we walked for miles on the beach! It is a spectacular beach and the highlight of Essaouira!!! If we had started our journey in Essaouira I would have enjoyed our Riad but at this point I was tired of the markets and alleyways and medinas - sorry 😞. We ate at Il Mare and enjoyed the views of the rugged side of the Atlantic and enjoyed a fresh fish dinner! The beach and boardwalk along the beach was spectacular!
On the road back to Casablanca Amine took us along the coast and it was breathtaking but then we went inland and caught the highway to Safi which is nothing to see unless you need to stop for a bathroom break otherwise I would continue on to El Jadida! Beautiful fortified city and great stop to walk along the ramparts! Our next stop was not necessary and would eliminate it from the itinerary.
Continuing on to Casablanca where we arrived during rush hour and Amine tried to find us a restaurant to eat dinner but it was so busy and traffic was a nightmare and he could not find a place to stop so we simply went to our hotel by the airport and we ate there.
We had to be at the airport for 6:00am so staying at the airport made sense.

We really enjoyed our 8 day trip around Morocco! It was extremely helpful to have Abdellah plan our itinerary. He listened to our priorities and made adjustments when we asked him to. I also appreciated that he helped us make some last minute restaurant reservations once we were already on the trip. We also really liked our drive, Soufian, who was really friendly and punctual throughout the trip. All of the guides in each location were knowledgable and made exploring more interesting. We didn't really think we needed a guide for the day hikes, but it actually made the experience much more interesting as we learned a lot about the local villages (we also would have likely gotten lost without them!). Out favorite part of the trip was hiking in the Atlas Mountains!

Inara Desert Camp

The Desert Camp is a really interesting experience. We really enjoyed the glamping tent and were happy to have a private bathroom and A/C. The staff were very kind and they did a traditional music performance at the end of the night, which was fun. The food was also good, though only one dish was offered. Unfortunately the tranquillity of the desert was ruined by a neighboring camp (also owned by Inara), which was hosting a loud dance party until at least 4am. There was also a noisy group playing music in the main area of our own camp until late. I wish there was an expectation of peace and quiet after midnight or so, especially since the whole vibe is very tranquil during the day.

We generally really enjoyed this property, thought there were a few things that could have been improved. On the good side, it' a stunning location with a lovely pool. The staff was so kind and cooked us a delicious meal (though we only had one option of tagine, which luckily was good). We were the only ones staying there, which was a little odd, but we got a lot of attention from the staff which was nice! We felt the room could have had better amenities - the shower flooded and there weren't any bath products supplied. For a lovely hotel, those small details were a bit of a disappointment. All and all it was nice though!

I adored this riad. It is in a great location in the medina, but feels totally tranquil once you are inside the walls. It is a bit of a walk to the car drop off, but that's part of the fun (and they will carry your bags for you). The rooms were really stunning with clean, earthy style. The rooftop restaurant is gorgeous. We had a private dinner on the roof and they cooked one of the best meals we had on the trip (we opted for a bunch of vegetarian small plates, which were so good and a nice variery from other food we had been served on the trip).

This riad is really great, with totally extravagant decor! The courtyard and restaurant are also both lovely. The only down side was that they only offered two menu items for dinner, which was disappointing as they have a full menu posted online. The food was tasty though!

This hotel is absolutely stunning, with boutique style rooms and an amazing view over Chefchaouen. The only thing to consider is that there are a LOT of steps to get up to the hotel and it's pretty exhausting. As a younger couple it was totally with it for the view (plus a hotel staff member carried our luggage), but if you have any issues with steps, it would be a challenge.

First let me say that Megan is a true trooper and loves what she does and does it wholeheartedly.
Aziz the guide who started and finished the Morocco tour was a clean cut extremely polite resourcefully amicable above all very clean and honest person. Enjoyed every minute of his company and was rewarded accordingly.
Kamal the guide in Fez was also very experienced and polite person.
Mohammad the guide in Marrakech was nice but a bit on the hasty side still a wonderful friendly person.
I highly recommend kimkim a trust worthy and reliable company this I can tell because in resent years I’ve used a variety of private tour organizers for Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania on 1 tour then Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar & Thailand a tour and many others.

My daughter and I typically do a "girls trip" to a different country every year. This year, we decided to visit a Morroco. I travel quite a bit - both professionally and personally. Typically, I research and book all of our travel arrangements - from booking flights, researching cities to visit, things to do, hotels to stay and local transportation options. (I actually enjoy doing it! Seriously.)

However, with this trip, I felt a little out of my "comfort zone" in planning it by myself, so I decided to try out KimKim. Without a doubt, working through KimKim and getting connected with local travel specialist, Sharon, from Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures, was one of the best travel decisions I've made over the years. Here's why:

From the first "virtual" introductions to the final days before our trip, Sharon was always accessible, professional and knowledgeable. In this particular case, it also helped that she was an American living in Morocco so there was no language barrier. When we arrived, our tour manager, Hicham, was there waiting for us, and the adventure began! I’m so glad we had Hicham throughout out entire trip to drive us place to place, connect us with other tour guides for specific tours, help check us in to our Riads (hotels), and tell us more about the country during our longer drives from the perspective of someone who was born and raised there. (BTW, his English was great!) He went above and beyond any expectations I had – to include stopping by a pharmacy and speaking with the pharmacist to help me get some medicine for an allergic reaction I was having to poison ivy that I contracted BEFORE the trip in my backyard and didn’t know it!

I cannot say enough about Hicham’s the level of professionalism throughout the entire trip and genuine desire for us to have the best vacation possible in his country. Same is true for the other tour guides they connected us with for specific tours. The attention to detail in everything – from our accommodations to our restaurants to the third-party partnerships they have acquired is unequaled! I am so glad we were connected with Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures. I wish they were in more countries! I will definitely use them again when we come back to visit!

It is hard to put into words how wonderful our trip was. We really feel a special connection to Morocco after this trip and cannot wait to return. We felt very safe and well cared for during the entire trip - even when an incident outside of anyone's control happened, so many people sprang into action to ensure that we were cared for - we truly could not have asked for more. If you are considering visiting Morocco, you should. You will not regret it!!

Our guide's name is Hakim. I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to book with a travel agency but after I saw the initial plan that Hakim sent over I knew that he was a professional and he was dedicated to helping us. He was able to tailor our vacation and allow it to still be within our budget. And believe me, I made so many changes and had so many requests. He set up a great trip planned and handled all of the hotels, transfers, tour guides, and gave us a list of activities to do on our free days which was a big help because if I would've tried to do it on my own I would've likely spent more money and struggled to find interesting things. One particular time that I remember that Hakim really helped me was when I wanted to have a birthday party in Rabat. I was so excited and thought that I had planned everything perfectly, but when I got there the owner of the restaurant gave me a very difficult time. I contacted Hakim and everything was immediately solved and I was able to really enjoy my day because of that. I am truly grateful for this moment because I really wanted the day to be special and at the beginning, it seemed that everything was going wrong but Hakim made sure everything was perfect! After my trip to Morocco, I planned a short trip to Spain but ended up canceling my plans and Hakim was there to assist me even though my time with kimkim was technically over. The communication was quick and I could tell that Hakim really cared about giving us a successful trip. Literally, in every message that he sent me, he reminded me that he would be happy to help me with anything and to not hesitate to contact him. I felt really valued as a customer with Hakim and he was so knowledgeable and quick to respond to anything I needed. The pool and outside area was amazing! It was truly beautiful. The location was great. It was near restaurants, nightlife, dessert places, and even a movie theater. The staff was really kind to us and helped us with anything we needed. The breakfast was good as well! I especially liked the fresh handmade bread every morning.

The staff were soooo sweet! The hotel was in a good location. We were able to walk to a pretty garden and the market easily. There were also many restaurants close by. Nice hotel. No complaints.

Morning Guided Tour in Rabat

Morocco

The tour was great. We had a hard time understanding the guide but he took us to some unique places and gave us time to explore. We didn't feel rushed and we felt that we got a lot of information and saw a lot of places in the 3 hours. The tour guide was nice and respectful in a way that we felt safe and comfortable on the tour. He even had answers to any additional questions we asked him about. We made plans after the tour and our guide even waited for us after the tour was over until our friend came to get us. He also helped me to translate some stuff that I needed! I really appreciate him going out of his way to ensure that we had an amazing experience.

Morning Guided Tour in Tangier

It was a looong walk and it was very hot, but the tour guide was amazing and he split up the walk so that we didn't get too tired. It was particularly interesting because he lived in the US and was giving a tour on his vacation. He also knew a lot of people in the city and showed us some great places. He was very patient with us and explained everything clearly.

The tour was entirely created by Megan at Kim Kim and we couldn't have been more pleased with the itinerary

The travel time while lengthy was worth the destination. We hit all the hot spots and for the perfect length considering our total length of trip. Before the trip I made some enquiries and suggestions, but Megan assured me of the length of time and she couldn't have been more on point!

Hamid our driver was an absolute pleasure, he took such good care of us and always with a smile. He was accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The trip wouldn't have been the same without him and we are so grateful for his guidance throughout. He made us feel safe on the road and in each location. He had great suggestions for lookout and photo locations. He recommended great restaurants and helped when one of the party was unwell, taking us to the clinic and translating with the Doctor. He went above and beyond, was contactable and happy to help at any hour, no request too small (honey lemon and ginger tea) or to great!

Our guide in Fes, Kamal, was absolutely fantastic - we could not have been more pleased. His knowledge was so extensive in regards to Fes but also Islam as a religion and the Moroccan culture in general.

The hotels we stayed in were all fantastic, with the exception of the hotel in Casablanca which was very business-y. Also the last hotel we stayed in in Marrakech 'had a pool' but it was not usable in my opinion. It was more of a deep fountain/pond with no sunbeds, in the middle of the hotel lobby
