Hotel Miró is a boutique hotel created by fashion designer Antonio Miró, exuding contemporary elegance and minimalist style. The hotel houses a collection of around 40 contemporary photography pieces that contribute to the vibrant and artistic atmosphere.

Location

Hotel Miró is opposite República de Abando Park and on the city's Golden Mile, a stretch of big businesses, shops, and delicious eateries. Here you'll find unique architectural settings by the works of renowned architects such as Moneo, Siza, Isozaki, Ferrater, Calatrava, and Pelli. You'll be just a three-minute walk from Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum, two minutes from the Museum of Fine Arts, and 10 minutes from Euskalduna Palace. Getting to the Old Town will take a little longer (about 20 minutes), but it's a beautiful walk through the city or along the river.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The rooms at Hotel Miró feature a simple, minimalist design with contemporary furnishings. Though the standard rooms are a little plain, you can always upgrade. The Master Suite, also known as the Penthouse, offers fully integrated spacious quarters with excellent city and Guggenheim views, while the Junior Suite, City Deluxe, and City Privilege rooms have views of the Guggenheim and the city. All have marble bathrooms with Molton Brown toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers.

Amenities

You can exercise in the well-equipped gym and relax in a comfortable library, perfect for reading or enjoying a drink. There's also an honesty bar and a wellness area, which offers therapeutic massages, aromatherapy, reflexology, facial treatments, and mind and body rituals. And for exploring Bilbao on two wheels, the hotel offers bicycle rentals. Some parts of the hotel are too narrow and tight for wheelchairs, but there are accessible rooms and an elevator available.
