Florence

Family of 2 looking to visit Italy in December 2017

“Going to be in Florence for 4 days in the middle of December for my daughter's 26 birthday. The whole trip is a surprise for my daughter. My daughter is an artist, so I would like to show her David, and maybe go to Pisa or Cinque Terre. I'm open to really any and all ideas. Both of us are pretty active and open to almost anything.”

Thanks for this request! I will be more than glad to help you. I will do my best to make this surprise unforgettable. If your daughter is an artist, Florence is her place!

If you have less than a week, I would suggest that you stay in Florence and have great, daily excursions from there. I think a guided tour of the gallery with the David and the Uffizi are a must. Then I would include a daily your to Lucca and Pisa and maybe Siena and San Gimignano so you can have an idea of the wonderful countryside even in December. If you like to cook, I would include a fun pizza cooking class or a market tour and cooking class with a local chef.  Do you have an idea of the dates? Which kind of hotels would you like?  I look forward to hearing from you!

Traveller:
I agree that a guided tour of the gallery with David with the Uffizi is a must and love the idea of Lucca and Pisa, as I loved the area of Lucca when I was there, and I have never been to Pisa. I am looking at 3-4 star hotels, I would really like something with charm and character - which I know isn't hard to do in that area! Thanks again so much for your help!!!

Giorgia:
I've sent you two new proposals with different accommodations and I would love to hear your thoughts. December is high season in Florence so it would be great to book in advance because the hotels are getting lots of requests! I'm receiving positive answers from other lovely accommodations, so if you are still interested let me know and I will be able to send you new prices considering also other hotels!

Traveller:
Hi, there, I love, love the Balestri!!!! I'm so excited! I actually remember walking by this hotel when I was in Florence, I know my daughter will love it too!

Giorgia:
Thanks for paying the deposit! Please when you have time, let me know your arrival and departure details so I can arrange the private transfer.

Traveller:
When I make the arrangements, I'll let you know!!! Thanks so much for all your help!
