Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Santiago de Chile!

Santiago's historic Plaza de Armas

Welcome to Chile! Upon arrival at Santiago International Airport, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to explore the city at your leisure. Nestled in the foothills of the Andes, Chile's capital of Santiago is a modern and bustling metropolis with pockets of historic ambiance scattered throughout its historic center. Stroll the cobblestones of Barrio Bellavista, visit the 16th century Plaza de Armas, or hike to the top of Cerro San Cristobal for magnificent views.

For dinner be sure to get out of the hotel and enjoy a culinary adventure in the city. In recent years Santiago has emerged as a global foodie destination. Chilean chefs are reinventing traditional dishes like empanadas and cazuelas (stews) with ingredients harvested from the northern deserts and southern Patagonian regions. You can find great restaurants and wine bars not only in the Bellavista neighborhood but also in the revitalized historic barrios of Yungay and Italia.

Day 2: Transfer to the Rosario Valley, Cycling & Wine Tasting

Visit the Corralillo and Matetic Vineyards today

Your cycling adventure starts this morning, with a transfer from your hotel in Santiago to the Rosario Valley. Here you'll bike through a secluded valley on a paved and undulating road, flanked by native vegetation and extensive vineyards. Along the way, you'll stop for a hearty picnic lunch.

The aim today is to reach Corralillo Winery, the cellar where you can find the famous Matetic Vineyards. Take a break from biking with a wine tour, as you admire the impressive architecture of the building and the soft rolling hills that surround the vineyard.

Afterward, continue biking to reach the beautiful Magdalena Valley before heading to your hotel in Casablanca, where you'll get settled into your base for the next two nights.

Day 3: Casablanca Valley Cycling & Wine Tasting

Merlot grapes in the Casablanca Valley

This morning, a quick 20-minute transfer takes you to the crossroads that lead to the city of Casablanca. From here, you'll start biking towards Kingston Vineyards, an exclusive winery set amongst spectacular scenery. Taste some of their famous earthy wines and enjoy a picnic lunch to fuel the rest of your journey through the Casablanca Valley.

The route continues along a quiet, country road to reach the extensive Emiliana Organic Vineyards, where you'll stop for another tour and tasting experience.

Day 4: Cycle to the Pacific, Transfer to Santiago

Today's cycling takes you from the Casablanca Valley towards the Pacific Ocean

This morning you'll be driven to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Lo Vásquez, an important pilgrimage center and shrine. From here, it's time to get back on the bikes and cycle along a beautiful, flat road flanked by old eucalyptus trees. This route will take you to the small village of Las Dichas.

This is where the challenge really starts: from this point on, you'll be biking across the Chilean Coast Range. The road becomes demanding and exhilarating, with sharp turns, winding curves, steep slopes, and magnificent views.

Your goal is the remote beach of Tunquén, one of the most beautiful and less-visited destinations in Chile's Central Region. Here you can rest your tired legs and enjoy sweeping views over the Pacific Ocean before a transfer takes you back to Santiago for the night.

Day 5: Depart Santiago

Sunset over Santiago

After an unforgettable journey, it's time to bid Chile farewell. Enjoy your final morning in Santiago at your leisure—at the scheduled time, you'll be picked up and transferred to the airport for your departing flight. ¡Buen Viaje!
