Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Venice

Wander the canal bridges of Venice

Welcome to Italy! Private transfer from Venice airport to your hotel in the heart of old Venice. Check-in with time to rest or explore the city on your own. Wander the canals, see St. Mark's Square or shop for Venetian glass. Enjoy an incredible Italian meal with a stunning backdrop and catch up on sleep before the rest of the trip commences. 

Day 2: Exploring Venice with a Local Guide

Explore St. Mark's Square

After breakfast, meet your local guide at the reception and walk the historic streets of Venice. Explore the famous St Mark's Square with St Mark's Basilica and Campanile, walk to Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Ponte di Rialto, Grand Canal while enjoying the spectacular sceneries of marble palaces and buildings that are a true masterpiece of Baroque and Renaissance architecture. Your guide will explain the importance and history of these must-see stops. 

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Visit Gallerie dell’Accademia, an art museum with Renaissance art and iconic masterpieces, take a gondola ride through Grand Canal or take a private water taxi or a Vaporetto and visit Lido or San Giorgio Maggiore.

Day 3: From Venice to Rovinj

After breakfast and check out, take a private transfer to Rovinj, one of the regional centers for good food in Croatia. You'll have a free day to explore the town on your own. Have lunch in one of the world-class restaurants, walk through the narrow streets, visit the Church of Euphemia, the defensive walls, the town clock and walk the colorful Grisia street, where you might find an open exhibition of local painters. Be sure to climb to the top of the Church of Euphemia for incredible 360-degree views. 

Day 4: Rovinj Bike Tour

After breakfast, leave your luggage at the reception and go for a fun half-day e-bike tour around Rovinj. This unique tour provides a mix of modern and ancient sights and amazing panoramic views of the Adriatic sea, beaches, bays, and small islands. It's a great balance of active adventure and cultural sightseeing. 

After a short ride along the coast, the journey takes you inland by cycling on the macadam path to Rovinjsko Selo. After a stop for a drink, the ride continues on the trail through woods along olive groves and vineyards till the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. Riding on narrow roads and trails along the west coast with changing scenes, inland Istria and the coastline unfold before your handlebars until you reach the start point in Rovinj once again.

Private transfer from Rovinj to Opatija, a former elite resort town on the coast, in the afternoon. This is roughly halfway to the next day's main attraction, Plitvice Lakes. 

Day 5: Visit Plitvice Lakes National Park

Breakfast and private transfer to Plitvice Lakes, the first national park in Croatia. Take a guided tour with a local expert.

The lake system is comprised of 16 named and several smaller unnamed lakes, cascading one into the next. Plitvice Lakes was internationally recognized for its outstanding universal value in 1979 with its inscription onto the UNESCO World Heritage List. The national park is a symbol of Croatia in the world and is one of the most popular sites in Croatia and the region.

Continue towards Zadar. Check-in and time at leisure to explore the city on your own. Visit the historic old town of Roman ruins and the remarkable spectacle of the Sea Organ and the Monument to the Sun, the location of which Alfred Hitchcock described as the most beautiful sunset in the world.

Day 6: From Zadar to Split

After breakfast, you'll take a private transfer to Split where you can enjoy an afternoon, two-hour walking tour with an experienced local guide and see how life in Split really exists. Let our guide take you back in time with thrilling stories about Diocletian's Palace history, with an exciting visit to the palace cellars too. Find out how tradition is mixed with the present while you stroll down the buzzing streets of the city center.

Day 7: Boatride from Split to Hvar with Island Cycling Tour

Exit the mainland for Hvar

Check into your hotel upon arrival in Hvar, one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Best known for its world-class nightlife, this charming island is also known for its Mediterranean nature and rich traditions. In the afternoon, take a private half-day cycling tour of the island. You'll ride through fields of lavender and groves of olive trees, surrounded by incredible aromas. This unique tour reveals the hidden corners of the island and the local culture. Enjoy lunch after the ride at a traditional konoba.

Day 8: From Hvar to Korčula

After breakfast check out and embark on a catamaran to Korčula Island. Once on the island, check-in and spend free time at leisure to walk to cobblestone streets.

In the afternoon, take a cycling tour from Korcula Town to the family-run wineries of Lumbarda, a sprawling region, for two indulgent wine tastings. You will pass the beautiful countryside, local vineyards, and olive groves while enjoying fantastic views of the village, archipelago and the Peljesac peninsula, which is famous for its robust red wines. The tour includes several hills and some off-road terrain.

Then, take a transfer back to Korčula Town where you'll overnight.

Day 9: Walking Tour of Dubrovnik

Get a bird's eye view of Dubrovnik

In the morning embark a catamaran to Dubrovnik. Transfer to your hotel and time at leisure. Afternoon, you will take a walking tour of the old city with a local guide. Meet your guide at Pile Gate and stroll down Stradun, Dubrovnik's main street. You can walk the old town while experiencing local stories and legends and getting to know the turbulent history of the area.

Later, we suggest you take a cable car to Srd Hill for the best panoramic view of the city. It's the perfect place to catch a sunset over the city. For Game of Thrones enthusiasts, take a guided GoT tour of locations where the famous series was filmed. The rest of the day is free at leisure, so you have tons of options to choose from. Explore Dubrovnik and everything the city has to offer, visit restaurants and museums or go kayaking around the city walls for a breathtaking view.

Day 10: Day Trip to the Konavle Region

Learn to appreciate the local cuisine in the Konavle Region

Today you will enjoy a true highlight of your trip: a visit to a local family estate with traditional local cooking experience and a cycling tour, with return transfer afterward. Immerse yourself in Dalmatian culture with this cooking class that will teach you how to make traditional Croatian coastal fare. Konavle region is most notable for being the undiscovered gem of the region right next to Dubrovnik, and taking part in this hands-on activity will ensure its a memorable day there. After this, you'll return back to Dubrovnik.

Day 11: Depart from Dubrovnik

Breakfast and check out from your accommodation. Private transfer to the airport, which requires 45-minutes in normal traffic conditions. Have a safe and pleasant trip home or towards your next destination.
