My husband and I just got back from an amazing 9-day trip across Morocco with KimKim and Original Travels.

From the planning of the trip with Mohammed to the hotel booking with Said everything for simple and seamless. The riads we stayed at were extremely beautiful and we met friendly people along the way. Mohammed and Said were both very responsive and helpful whenever we had any questions or concerns.

We were welcomed at the Casablanca airport by Aziz our driver who set the tone for our entire trip. Aziz was always on time, took good care of us ensured we had water and snacks and stopped at the best spots for pics. He shared a lot of information about the countryside, vegetation and culture and also played some great Moroccan and Indian music on the long drives.
Our trip started at Chefchauoen and ended at Casablanca with knowledgeable guides at every place - huge shout out to Mohammed, Adil, Said at the Orient Desert Camp and Hanan in Marakkesh. The highlight of our trip was the Sahara desert - from the camel ride, to the extremely comfortable camp with hot water, the berber music and the most beautiful sunrise.

It was a wonderful trip. Kim kim travel agent with Wanderlust was good choice to travel Morroccan style. Loved staying in Riyad and the Palace Hotel. Would Highly Recommend.

Took a 10 day trip to Morocco with my family. Abdellah, Said and their team were amazing. The communication was great. They always were checking on us to make sure we were safe and having fun. Bachir, our driver, was unbelievable. He kept us safe on the road and taught us so much about his country and their culture. You need a driver in Morocco. There are so many cops on the roads stopping cars just because.
Abdullah and Said were able to book amazing Riads for us and such fun experiences. I just told them the type of places I wanted to stay and the types of activities we wanted to do, they took care of everything.
The Dessert experience was unforgettable. My daughter still talks about her Camel ride and riding the Quads around the dunes. Glamping in the desert was something out of this world.
The 5:45 am pick up for the Hot Air Balloon in Marrakesh was worthy. What an experience.
Hassam, our guide in Marrakesh was great. He is so knowledgeable of his culture and the history of the city. Try to make sure he is your guide.
I would like to thank all of the people that made us feel so safe and welcome. Our driver Bachir, all the people that worked in the Riads and excursions..Said, thank you for taking the time to meet us at the end of the trip to make sure we had a great time. Also, thanks for booking the Hammam on our last day in Marrakech at our Road. It was amazing. Such a great treat before we had to come home.

The trip was perfect. The Kimkim team went out of their way to accommodate our various needs. We had a driver the entire trip, and Kaseem was so personable, helpful and a joy to travel with. He was able to take care of our requests and also make changes when weather or other circumstances occurred. Our rooms and the van met all of our needs. Saeed from the company kept in touch with us throughout and provided assistance when needed.

I'd recommend using this company for a customized tour. They will go out of their way to make it what you want.

We went to Morocco with our family friends - total of 4 adults and 4 kids ranging between 7 and 1yo. Megan was excellent in answering our questions and preparing us for our travels.

We had an absolutely amazing time on a one week tour of Morocco with our two children. Our trip planner and booking manager, Ali and Said of Original travels, did a fabulous job planning our trip and selecting activities and accommodations and went the extra mile to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Our driver Ayoub was the best! He was warm and friendly and welcoming, had a wealth of knowledge about all the places we visited and went out of his way to help us with our children. We were touched by the warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people.

Alhamdulilah, our trip to Morocco was excellent. Morocco is the most clean, safe, tourists friendly country I ever seen. In less than two weeks we saw the mountains, the sea the desert and most beautiful cities, except Casablanca, which did not have much attractions except the king Hassan big mosque. All people we saw and met are extremely friendly and that what made our travel pleasent, especially our driver Ayoub, very cool young men and quite tolerant to grumpy old travelers like us. Thank you Ayoub and I’ll request you to be our guide next trip.

Our local specialist, Abdellah, from Original Travels quickly responded to our questions and customized our trip according to our requests so that we could plan a great trip. He was professional and made us feel comfortable planning a trip to a country that we had never visited before.

When we arrived in Morocco, we met our English speaking driver, Samir, who took care of us from the moment we met him at the airport until he dropped us off at the airport at the end of our trip. He was trustworthy and dependable. He was willing to accommodate our requests and made us feel welcome during our entire stay. He was knowledgeable and acted not only as our driver, but also as our guide during our trip. He was able to tell us about Morocco’s history and the different regions and sites during the drive. It was a great experience overall.

We did not expect much from this hotel since it was just a place to spend our last night before catching our flight the next morning. It was more or less what we expected. This appeared to just be a hotel for big tourist groups. Friendly staff but the rooms were dirty. The sink and shower drains were partially clogged and drained very slowly. The towels had brown stains and there were mosquitos and ants in the room.

It was beautiful with a great view of Chefchaouen. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good with a variety of local dishes you can choose from. We didn’t mind the 159 steps to get to the lobby because that is what gives this riad the beautiful view in the common area.

We expected more from a four star hotel (according to Google). The riad patio/ground level common area was beautiful and the breakfast was fine, however, the cleanliness of the room (Bahia room) left much to be desired. The room smelled musty and dank like old wooden furniture that was not taken care of properly. There were stains on the bedsheet and the hair dryer was very dirty and sticky. The riad has great potential but was not taken care of properly.

Ali helped us plan a great trip, and was responsive to all questions and requests. He was able to make changes when our flight was canceled and we had to readjust our itinerary. Our driver was not always aware of updates, but I do not know why.
We were happy with the driver, who was always on time and was willing to accommodate our requests.
The hotels didn’t always place us in the requested room types (2 rooms with 2 twin beds). In Fes we found we were not in the hotel listed in our itinerary, and we were told they were “fully booked” and that the four of us had to share a suite. Still, it was a very good experience overall.

Our driver Yassine was excellent. He was there whenever we needed him or had any questions! Also, our guide in Fez was very knowledgeable and very informative. I highly recommend them both.

The car was perfect for all of our luggage and very roomy for the 4 of us.

The chofer was a kind and friendly man. He was a chofer and NOT a guide as you describe!.
He hardly spoke ENGLISH and came with another man that was doing his training ship, who did NOT spoke a WORD of English. All trips they were speaking in the Berber language and at all times Beber music. We were NEVER notified of this no speaking English and two men.
We NEVER got complete information of the day activities and options for lunch. We were just taken somewhere they decided. We DID called Said and Abdel for HELP. The just called to the "driver" to ask him to give us detail information of the day activities. Which didnt make a difference.
YOU SHOULD SELECT ""BETTER"" THE CHOFER AND MAKE SURE THEY REALLY SPEAK AT LEAST ENGLISH AND IS REALLY A """GUIDE"".
The guide provided in Fes had experienced and spoke English. Before and after Fes we were left alone and hardly information of the places.

This was a trip for the memory book. A big part of that was Karim, our tour driver extraordinaire. He was knowledgeable, flexible, resourceful and so in tune with anticipating our needs. On top of that, he had a smile that went to his eyes, a wicked sense of humor and a protective approach that supported us and made us feel safe. I have hearing issues and hearing aids but I had no trouble hearing Karim and understanding his English. I was wowed by the local guides we were given for tours in the medinas in Fez, Marrakech and Essaouira, plus the food tour and the Roman ruins tour in Volubilis. Karim and all the guides shared great stores about the sites and themselves and their lives in Morocco. It made for such a rich and deep experience. Truly a trip for the memories.

Karim, our driver/guide, was terrific. He took care of us, making us feel welcome, safe, and informed. His English was excellent, which was essential because we don’t know Arabic or French. He handled arrangements with ease and a great attitude. I learned so much on this trip and had a great time. I wholeheartedly recommend KimKim, Original Travels and Karim!

From the moment Faisal, our driver, picked us up from the airport, we were always in capable hands. He took care of us and made us feel like family.
Every step of the way, Original Travels company took care of us and ensured we had an amazing experience. Said was always attentive and accessible. We communicated through What’s App with no problems.
I found KimKim from a NY Times review that rated the company very highly. They were not wrong.
The Riyadh’s that we stayed in were lovely. Highlights were luxury camping in the Sahara, Ait Ben Habdou, Essaouira and a Hammam. Our guide, Hanna, in Marakech was amazing. We learned so much.

I just got back from one of the best and most memorable trips I have been fortunate enough to experience! I was told Morocco needed to be done in depth, not just a couple of the big cities, and upon searching I found that a driver/guide and vehicle were essential. I contacted Under the Moroccon Sun using Kim Kim (amongst several other companies), and received a comprehensive response from Majid and Hassan very promptly. We worked together to create an itinerary, but after speaking to Hassan on the phone a few times I realized I should let him make suggestions, as he mentioned places and things I wasn't even aware of. The booking process was smooth, prices at par with what others were offering, but the customer service was exceptional!

We were picked up by our driver/guide Mohammad at the airport and we started off on our tour of Morocco.

This trip would not be half as good if it hadn't been for Mohammad. From the moment he picked us up till when we checked in for our flight back, Mohammad made sure every single aspect of our trip went smoothly, and that we were satisfied and happy on every step. Some excellent points below:

• Neat and clean car. Cleaned regularly, filled up regularly
• Eccellent driver! Followed road rules, made accommodations for weather and driving conditions
• stopped frequently and as needed for bathroom breaks/picture opportunities
• kept in touch with our accommodations to ensure a smooth arrival and exit process
• made excellent suggestions for lunch/dinner/coffee and made several accommodations for special needs
• figured out our quirks and acted accordingly
• helped us find bargains, took us to local and reasonable places
• educated us on Moroccon culture and history throughout the day, and pointed out places of interest we would have missed completely

Overall, this trip would not be possible without Hassan and Majid and their organizational skills. But it would be only half as good, if we had not lucked out with Mohammad.

Morocco is a BEAUTIFUL country. With so much diversity in topography and culture, one really needs to tour it in its entirety to fully comprehend and appreciate it.

We were lucky enough to do so, I feel like we didn't miss a single place of interest. And got to know the country and people thoroughly.
We started off with bigger cities, stayed in everything from a mountain casbah to a desert tent, ate everything from berber pizza to tagines...I couldn't have asked for more.

The Riads Hassan picked and booked for us were outstanding. Each location was different, each riad was unique, but every single one added to the trip experience.

Mohammad helped with luggage, check in, check out...basically facilitated us every step of the way.

I would HIGHLY recommend Under the Moroccon Sun, please tall to Hasan and Majid for planning purposes and please request Mohammad as your guide :)

I can go into great depth about the entire experience, but I feel like each experience is unique, and Hassan knows how to tailor these itineraries.

However I just want to say that a great guide and driver can make or break your trip, and Mohammad really was one of the best, most reliable, friendly, and responsible guides we had the good fortune of meeting.
