Cute little place but a little too basic.

Great breakfast and location. We had a really hot room on the 3rd floor over top of a courtyard where garbage was actively put out multiple times until 2:30am making it hard to sleep. Rooms did not have basic amenities such as anywhere off the floor to put your luggage eg rack or bench. No facial tissues in the rooms and no hair conditioner or body lotion, and only one hanger. Really chintzy. First and last time I’ll stay at a Scandic hotel.

Loved film and glacier visit and guide but visit to museum was much too short over lunch because didn’t have enough time to see museum and eat after the 15 minute film. Another 30-45min needed.

Scandic Torget in Bergen was well-located in the main area, which made it easy to explore the city. The hotel was nice, although we might have wished for a bit grander experience since we don't travel often. But, overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and everything went smoothly during our time there.

Quality Hotel Ålesund was a nice spot to stay with a lovely waterfront view. It was comfortable and provided all the amenities we needed. Again, the breakfast offerings were superb. It was a good base for exploring Ålesund.

Hotell Bondeheimen was a nice start to our trip. We were only there for one night, but the breakfast spread was phenomenal, which we really appreciated. We did have to request a room change due to a broken window, but the staff was gracious and accommodating.

Becareful if you are booked in the Back yard rooms...Your view is a block wall you can touch from your window. ..Rooms 247 upward... They were, however, very accommodating when we asked to move.. And this was on Constitution day.

The day trip to Rosendal was quite beautiful, especially the hike up to the waterfall, but it did end up being a bit long. While the experience itself was lovely, it left us feeling like we missed out on exploring more of Bergen. If there were more time to spend in Bergen, it could have been a great additional activity.

Our stay here included Constitution Day. The KimKim team recommended this hotel as it was in the middle of the festivities and directly on the parade route, which was fantastic. They also requested our room to be in the back of the hotel since the celebrating goes into the night and we had an early flight - very thoughtful and appreciated. We didn’t have a view as we knew going in, but preferred the quiet, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Great location only steps to the Fish Market and a five minute walk to Bryggen and the nearby shops, restaurants and pubs. Room was nice, and comfortable.

Only stayed here one night but it was nice and the staff was great. Great breakfast buffet; three kinds of brunost (brown cheese), I was in my glory!

Quality Hotel Ålesund stood out as our favorite accommodation during the trip. The rooms were spacious compared to the ones in busier cities, which was a refreshing change. The location and overall atmosphere made it very pleasant to stay there. I would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed our cruise and time in Rosendal. A highlight was the hike we did, walking from the town to Hattebergfossen Waterfall Trail, a loop trail. Beautiful.

The Norway in a Nutshell Day Trip was a bit disappointing for us. While it was a detailed tour, it felt rushed especially at the stop in Flam, where we had only 45 minutes to explore. The train, bus, and boat sequence was interesting but it was a very long day. The boat ride was crowded and more like a social event for the large tour groups rather than an exploration (to be fair, a few days earlier we had done the Geirangerfjord cruise on a much smaller boat so perhaps we were spoiled). We wish we had more time to truly enjoy the surroundings. That said, we did enjoy many aspects of the day. For someone with limited time in the area it’s a good option.

We enjoyed this. Nothing fancy, but ok. We’d do it again but first would see what other sauna options there might be in Alesund.

The Geirangerfjord Cruise & Day Trip was the highlight of our activities. It was breathtaking, and the experience was intimate with only about 45 people on the boat. Everyone seemed like-minded, appreciating the beautiful scenery, which made it a truly memorable excursion.

I can't remember our guides name but she is from Argentina and did an AMAZING job at engaging with us and also enjoying the history and nature of it all! She was fantastic and so what this activity!

This was the most beautiful place we stayed in Norway. From the owner to everyone working there you made our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

The Fjord Cruise to Rosendal was the highlight of my husband’s and my part of the journey. It was quite cold, but the ferry was nice with a lovely breakfast bar. You could get a variety of hot and cold drinks, making the experience very enjoyable. The scenery was spectacular, and the weather held up beautifully!

The Food & Culture Walk in Bergen was enjoyable, although a bit long. The first stop had a huge cinnamon roll that seemed excessive, especially as it was too much after breakfast. I think the sequence could be improved by offering the cinnamon roll at the end so people can take it away if they're too full.

The Private Oslofjord Island Hopping Nature Walk was really well organized, and our guide was very informative and sweet. It was a bit challenging with the ups and downs, so I would definitely recommend bringing a hiking stick especially for older guests. Overall, it was a great way to explore the islands and enjoy the scenery.

Our guide was a very special person and we felt like friends in just a few minutes with him . As a small ground 4 he would pick us up and take us wherever we wanted to go and some places we didn’t know about.

Absolutely charming and authentic hotel, just a short walk from the 'center' of the town. Beautiful views from the fjord side of the hotel. Quirky and helpful staff who were warm and friendly, made us feel at home.

Solvorn and the Walaker are a must-see. Dinner was excellent. Hotel Service was outstanding. We had a chance to meet the current owner Walaker.

The Opus VI hotel was beyond compare. Great rooms, service, breakfast and bar/lobby. Maybe the best in Bergen.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel with great views. The buffet breakfast was superb.

The Flamsbrygga hotel is the obvious choice of places to stay in Flam, as it is in the center of town and the restaurants and pub and all connected to it. You will see a lot of traffic from the cruise ships but when they come, the whole town is overrun anyway and it's unavoidable.

Very cute vibe but maybe a little out of town for some. We enjoy walking so it wasn't an issue for us, and there is great public transportation.

This was a little longer than necessary- we could have seen and tasted everything in 2 1/2 hrs instead of 3 1/2 (it ran long)

The best part was touring the old village. We didn't really need the stop at the shoe factory, but I understand why that would appeal to some.

Our guide, Nathan, was very informative and provided a lot of details about the area. The cheese tasting was fun. We never felt pressured to buy anything. The suits are really warm and help protect against the wind. We were given lots of opportunities to take some amazing photos.

Conveniently located near train station. Room was standard and clean. Shower drain was slow but they offered us a new room immediately. Great breakfast.

Beautiful exterior. Our room was in the newer wing (built in the 1960s). Although the hotel lobby and dining room were stunning, our room was very bland and functional. The room was clean. We did have a balcony and supposedly a water view, but it was hard to see the water from our room. Good breakfast.

While you can do this activity on your own, our guide (Irvin) was great and we learned a lot about Norway. Irvin was the best guide of our entire trip to Norway.

We really enjoyed this activity. The cheese tasting was enjoyable. The best part of the activity was being on the smaller fjords on a smaller boat. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We highly recommend this tour.

It was an enjoyable tour. The tour guide was fine (not spectacular). In the past, most food tours had too much food so I left stuffed. This food tour had a much smaller amount of food, but I was still OK with that.

Our most rainy day, but still well worth the time outside. But even on this day some sunshine.

Extremely beautiful trip lasting only 4 hrs... wish it were longer. But unfortunately we took only 2 photos!

We never had a Sauna before. Liked it much more than we thought we would. I would like to do it more often!!

The room was quite clean and new. We wish we had been on the boat for more hours... from 1:20 AM to 8:10 AM is not long enough for even a good sleep. A 12 to 16 h trip would be more reasonable.

Guides English was poor and he was relatively new to Bergen. I would not recommend using the same guide.

Nice way to spend our first night. Food was good for the circumstances of being on a boat where the food is pre prepared.

Small cabin but had a nice view. Food was great. As was the common area seating. Felt like a commuter ship as things were being cleaned while we were boarding / sailing / disembarking.

Great location and excellent food both breakfast and dinner. The rooms and hallways were a little tired / worn looking. Our room was quite small (no room for 2 bags) as oposed to our traveling partners who has sufficient room for the four of us to sit together.

For one, you can't beat the location. Having the extra sitting area in the room was very well appreciated. Breakfast selection was OK but the dinner was excellent. Walking through the houskeeping service area to get to the room as a litle awkward. The staff was cordial ovreall but not as welcoming as other placed we visited in Norway.

Great cabin with ample space. Food was Ok, not exceptional. Access to the prvate lounge was nice but there were no views from the lounge....a little unfortunate. Overall a great experience.

Tons of hiking opportunities at the top. Food in the cafe is limited and not very satisfying, We did not try the restaraunt but it looked amazing, as did the bar.

Eirik did an excellent job....being a lifetime resident with a great understanding of the history and culture.

Learned a lot of details about viking life and culture. Good hands on demostarations but all were not staffed at the time of our visit.
