Lime the room design, otherwise just ok. Staff friendliness varied. Also no a/c despite being a newer build. Had to sleep with window/door open. Would go for a higher floor, a room ending in 02 or 03 on Matterhorn side Has saunas and small outdoor whirlpool. But not open until 4 pm..d then only until 9. Breakfast here was the least elaborate.

At first booked a Spa room. Huge. Modern decor. But no a/c. Also a long walk from main part of hotel. Then there was loud music from next door. They accommodated a room switch to first floor front of main building. Much better. Though older, had central a/c and a view across park to mountains.

Had great views, room with a whirlpool on balcony. Has own funicular as also on hill.

Beautiful view, very large room. Best we stayed in during trip. Only issues are that it's up a big hill from town so going out, coming back takes time. Car back up at least. The one star Michelin restaurant there was bad. They emphasized things like table side prep of beef tartare (which we didn't order), slat baked fish for two....portions small and nothing tasted especially good. One fish dish was overwhelmingly funky.

Good location. We stayed there first and last night. Had 508 first night. Small "family" room meaning a bed and pull out couch. 408 last night, much bigger.

Some very nice views going up and back. Unfortunately, again, we had a cloudy, rainy day, obscuring views at top

Bad weather made the rides up and down the best part as there was no view at all from top. Very touristy at top--exit through the gift shop type place. Went to Lauterbrunnen on way down. Could be cute but the one main street is mostly tourist-oriented shops

Very crowded. Hard to get a place to sit. 2hrs+ with maybe 10 stops between Interlaken and Thun. Thun not that special. Good view from castle/church.

We didn't get to Murren. Took 2 hrs to get to Thun (skip), not enoufh time left to then also go to Murren. Would take cable car from midway up Jungfrau if you want to go

Mountain itself would be 4 starts. Getting there takes a 1+ hr ferry ride which was very crowded.

Essential if using train system. Can be confusing as for some things like the panoramic trains to Gornegrat and Jungfrauloch you need a separate tickets and another for a reservation. One had assigned seats, one didn't. Trains were fairly crowded. Always able to get a seat but not always easy. This pass also works for ferry boats.

Quite possibly the best place that we stayed on our 17 day vacation! What a truly amazing and wonderful experience that we had at this hotel! I cannot recommend this place more highly! 15 out of 10 stars!

This was one of the highlights of our trip, it was so much fun. The food was great. The wine was even better! This was an absolutely perfect anniversary experience for my wife and I! We could not be happier with the experience that we had!

What a great way to end our trip to Switzerland! City tour was very interesting, Lindt factory was totally incredible, and a quaint fondue dinner at Felsenegg with great views and fun servers was nice.

Beautiful Lake, amazing scenery! And we even got to swim in the water. Very glad the staff had us wear wet suits.

Loved the forest feel and walking around Hotel Geissbach. Trummelbach Falls was magnificent! Our guide, Richard, recommended a lovely restaurant in Lauterbrunnen, and also helped us find a church we had been looking for there.

We hiked to the 360 degree view after getting to the top. Amazing!!

It snowed in early September while we were at the top - Cool!! Enjoyed the majesty of the mountain!

Outstanding location with views on to Lake Zurich. Easy walk from the front of the hotel to the city or the benches by the lake. Very friendly and kind staff, very concerned with guest comfort.

Great location in the center of Interlaken. Enjoyed watching the paragliding from our room balcony. Room was adequate with minimal comfort features and the bathroom was tiny (especially the shower).

Outstanding location with amazing views over Lake Lucerne and the promenade area. Footprint of the room was smaller but everything was first class and comfortable. Soft drinks & some snacks from the mini bar were included and we enjoyed this after touring the city. Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom. Upscale all the way.

Outstanding location with amazing views on to Lake Lugano. We enjoyed a suite with a balcony. Easy walk to town, close to train station and bus station. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet.

The location is outstanding, right on the shore of Lake Como with amazing views, walking distance to the town, and the ferry right next door, and an amazing breakfast buffet. Public areas are very nice, rooms are VERY dated and sadly disappointing.

We toured Mt. Titlus in the morning which was better for a less cloudy view at the top. It was quite crowded with some unruly tour groups. The views were clear but only briefly- at 10,000 ft! We did the glacier cave walk and the suspension bridge. It was amazing! Following this we had a caffe latte and snack in Engleberg and then a cheese making lesson at a local monastery. Our cheese maker was so enthusiastic! He shared lots of information about the local farmer traditions and making cheese as he taught us how cheese is really made. We made some curds and tasted some local farmer cheese at various ages. It was fun.

Ivo gave us a very brief introduction to Zürich by car and then we drove to tour the Lindt House of Chocolate. It was a standard group tour and it’s a self tour with recordings throughout. It’s well done, lots of chocolate samples along the way. It was well attended. Following this we drove to a lovely restaurant only accessible via funicular for a traditional cheese fondue dinner while overlooking Lake Zurich and the city below. It was planned for sunset so we could see the view both in daylight and following sunset with all the lights.

Marta took us on a hike alongside Lake Brienz, a gorgeous turquoise blue lake near Interlaken. Following the tour, we viewed a waterfall nearby. You could hike up and walk behind the falls. For the return to Interlaken, we took a tour boat. Various areas along the lake felt like we were in a rainforest, lunch greenery with moss and ferns. She shared the local history and geography as we hiked.

Richard is a wonderful guide who works hard to ensure his clients enjoy their tour. We shared learning that there are towns in the Lauterbrunnen area where cars are not allowed and he asked if we would like to go to one. We said yes and our tour was immediately edited to suit this desire. It was wonderful to travel to Murren, walk the town, see the outstanding mountain views, watch the BASE jumping and paragliding. It really was quite special. He shared his knowledge of the history of the area as we walked around. He is also very good at photographs. He took all the photos on his phone and them created a file for us to access and download the photos = perfect! We also toured Trummelbach Falls with him - amazing place and he was kind to share information on what we would see and experience in advance - temperature, sound, slippery conditions. Excellent tour!

Dave loves history and regaled us with many details along the tour - to our immense enjoyment. He is very knowledgeable and enjoys sharing what he knows. The details of the Chapel Bridge history and art work is amazing. He arranged a beautiful wine and cheese tasting at a perfect location near the Chapel Bridge. We learned that Dave and Greg worked for the same company in their past careers and his wife worked for Kodak which is headquartered in our home town of Rochester NY.

Miguel drove us to Mt. Pilatus and managed to both be detailed and informative and also disappearing at time to allow us some time alone. He shared details and history but also the best place to get lunch, the best views for photos and offered to take photos quite often.

We enjoyed taking the train and bus to get to Bellinzona. Patricia shared the detailed history of the castles and area as we toured. A needed bathroom break lead to a little wine tasting and charcuterie by a local shop owner that Patricia is friendly with - he was so very gracious, kind and generous. We took photos as this really was special for us.

Patricia arranged a beautiful lunch at a little place right along the lake. She helped us order traditional Swiss food and wine. Our conversation included discussing a love of family, origins, food, history, geography, and traditions. She guided us to a place to buy a little Ticino book I mentioned I was interested in acquiring. She also presented us with a little Ticino anniversary gift - two small baccolino cups. She recommended we try nocino over gelato. She worked to take some beautiful photos of us. She suggested we take the boat ride back to Lugano instead of the planned reverse bus & train. It was a lovely ride and great suggestion.

Our guide, Elena, is a teacher by career and this showed and enhanced our learning experience as we took a city tour of Lugano with her. She also shared personal spots for gelato, dinner, apertivo as well as taught us how to use the bus system to get back to our hotel.

Loved our tour of Bellagio and Lake Como with a boat tour included to get from place to place. Our guide, Laura, booked a wine tasting and charcuterie at an enoteca she knew well. She's a sommelier and that enhanced our experience as we discussed wines in more detail. She showed us around and explained the culture and history of both Bellagio and Como.

One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Gorgeous views, perfect location in the heart of Interlaken

Because of the weather, we had to make some last-minute adjustments to our plans that day. Luckily, Richard was once again up to the task and we had a delightful day in spite of the weather. Highly recommend Richard and Grindelwald Tours

Richard was a wonderful guide and we could not have been more pleased with our experience hiking from Lauterbrunnen to Murren. He helped us navigate all the various modes of transportation, educated us about the area, and ultimately delivered us to our fabulous lunch at Piz Gloria. An absolutely magical day!

We had a wonderful time with our food tour guide Jonathan. We stopped in three different places to enjoy Swiss delicacies, and learned about Bern and Swiss culture along the way. Highly recommend.

If we had any constructive feedback, it would be that we didn't feel like we received enough detail regarding our excursions (what to wear, how are we traveling and exactly what are we doing) and they weren't always what we expected (depended on the local guide we got that day). Day two was even better with a local guide Patricia (aka Patti) who took us to Bellinzona which was an amazing day - she was the best guide we had all week. Recommend the risotto cooking class and lunch - lot of fun. She was very patient, incredibly warm and kind and gave us a lot of her time.

Our first tour day in Lugano was lovely with a local guide Romina who was very professional and knowledgeable and friendly. She spent a lot of time with us. Definitely recommend her.

Day two was better - a different and more professional guide/tour to Engelberg/cheese and Mt. Titlis (incredible natural beauty) although the guide was on his phone a lot. We expected more of a behind the scenes cheese experience but in KimKim's defense, it says 'cheese tasting' and that's what it was - we went to a shop in Engelberg that may belong to the monastery and we ate some delicious cheese there. Boat ride from Lucerne to Fluelen and Gotthard train to Lugano are must do's - magical - loved the attendant on Gotthard train - beautiful views and very friendly.

Our first tour day was to Mount Rigi - it was a good day overall, spent getting up the mountain, having a lovely but long lunch at the Michelin-starred Edelweiss restaurant on the mountain, and then heading to the spa and enjoying an impromptu stop at a small church with two Swiss women playing the accordion...the area of opportunity here was that our guide wasn't the most professional, organized or seemingly knowledgeable. She lost her phone on the bus (can happen to anyone) that set in motion us missing our train and being off schedule most of the day - it happens.

This hotel is the perfect location - situation in the village - easily walkable to town - the balcony and view cannot be beat

Hotel was in a nice location to see the lake, but it was a longer walk to the city center for shopping. Hotel staff were nice and helpful after there was a miscommunication with luggage. Rooms were nice and clean. Wonderful breakfast available. Nice pool available for use which the children enjoyed.

Beautiful hotel lobby and staff tried to be helpful. The check in process for our large family group was long and difficult compared to other hotels. While the rooms were nice, they were hot and did not cool down at night. I talked with staff about the air not going below 24.5 C, and was informed that is the best they could do.

Beautiful hotel in a good location. We were able to walk to areas of the city and local attractions easily. The rooms were great for families and the room with the rooftop balcony was very special. The front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and the facility was well taken care of.

Family friendly hotel that was able to accommodate our group of 18 (9 adults, 9 children). The hotel was clean and staff were helpful and kind.

We skipped this experience due to our preferences at the time. So, I cannot rate it.

Bellizona is a beautiful city with wonderful history. We did a walking tour of the city and saw some very beautiful, old buildings and learned about its history. Then we were able to go up to one of the Castles and explore it. There was a museum with a movie that was very interesting, even to the youngest in our group (6 years old). We did enjoy this experience.

We enjoyed our tour of Interlaken with our guide Nina. We went to the Woodpecker Woodshop and enjoyed the demonstration and shop there. It was lovely and cute. Then we went to a local dairy farm to see the happy cows and sampled the local cheese. It was a wonderful experience and the kids enjoyed it. We then went to the Funky Chocolate Club. We had a chocolate tasting and really enjoyed our time there. The chocolate and education received were top notch. I would also recommend this experience.

This was one of our favorite activities. The lake is beautiful and a lot of fun to explore in kayaks. The kayak guides, Ben, Ryan and Mika, were amazing with our family. They led us in games we played on the lake and were able to accommodate our different ability levels with ages from 6-76. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this activity to everyone!

We enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and the medieval village. We were at the village on a Sunday, so some of the shops were closed. The river was beautiful to see and the kids were able to wade in the water to have some fun.

We only spent one night in Zurich but the hotel was very nice for us. We enjoy the country more than cities but had a fabulous time walking around Zurich and shopping before heading home. Easy to navigate. We had the owners suite for our family and the size and privacy was excellent!

The hotel staff here was exceptional. Great service and lots of helpful tips for making our time in Zermatt perfect.

Location ideal for shopping and town night life. Breakfast was convenient and had a lot to offer in the mornings.

The town of Grindelwald is one of my favorite places in Switzerland. The team at ParkHotel was absolutely fantastic! High quality service in every way.

Excellent views. If we had done this first I probably would have been more impressed... however after Jungfraujoch this trip required less time. Very glad we spent time hiking on the mountain and especially going to "Reflection" Lake.

Highly recommend George as a guide! The trip took some physical strength but was not overly strenuous. Views were amazing. I did "feel it" that night though!

This was fantastic! So glad we planned for a full day on top of mountain. We spent plenty of time on everything and took a long hike out the trail while on top.

Walking around on Mt Rigi may have been my favorite day...even in the rain. It was peaceful and beautiful. Because of the rain there were very little tourists which helped. Boat ride on the lake was perfect.

Easier to utilize than expected and made travel much better than dealing with a rental car and trying to find parking.

We were there during hot weather and our room on the 16th floor baked. The air conditioner was poor and it was situated so it didn’t cool the entire room. The patio was oven like due to the hard work of the air conditioner.

Very helpful. We had to have some papers sent to us from home and appreciated their help with that. They also helped with internet issues.

We enjoyed the entire day. The chocolate factory was fun and all the chocolate appreciated. The Gruyère castle was a beautiful setting.

It was a very hot day but the castle was cool inside! The setting and history was amazing.

I’m a bit uneasy with heights so it wasn’t my favorite but my husband and grandson loved it!

A sunny, calm day with Ryan our guide. There were only 5 in our group which made it personable. We learned a lot about Switzerland from Ryan.

Loved it all! From the clear skies, to the fog, to the thunder/lightning/rain storm! It was amazing.

Hotel Interlaken was probably our overall favorite accommodation. The decor was modern and clean, and every room had a balcony with a great view. The location was superb, with restaurants and grocery stores just down the street, and a bus stop right outside. A delightful surprise was our access to play tennis at the Interlaken Tennis Club's clay courts, something very unique to us. It added a fun and unexpected activity to our stay!

The Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann in Lucerne was a highlight of our trip. Despite being an older hotel, its location was incredibly convenient, less than ten minutes from the train station, which is essential as we traveled everywhere by train. While the week was warmer than usual and the air conditioning was limited, this is understandable in Switzerland. The breakfast was a standout feature with options like champagne that made it feel extra special. This was my wife's favorite hotel!

Location is perfect. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake, which made our stay very memorable. We highly recommend!

The Summer Kayak Tour on Lake Brienz in Interlaken was enjoyable, but there was a bit of confusion about beach access afterward. We misunderstood and thought access to the beach was part of the package, which led to some miscommunication. However, the kayaking itself was fun, and the views were stunning.

The walking tour in Lugano was hands down our favorite activity of the week. Roberta did an outstanding job guiding us and sharing insights into daily life there. Walking through the picturesque village and experiencing the Italian-speaking culture was an absolute delight. This was an experience we wouldn’t have discovered on our own, and we’re so grateful to have done it.

Good location in Geneva where you can walk across the lake bridge to the center of town and then into old town.

This was a very clean and well appointed hotel and rooms.

This hotel is located in a beautiful area on the promenade with amazing views and centrally located where you can walk easily to things.

The room had an amazing view of the Jungfrau Alps Peak, and the overall park below. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Their staff was very helpful also.

Friendly and wonderful staff and excellent food at their restaurant. The buffet breakfast was well appointed and delicious.

Toured the little village of Lauterbrunnen Valley, there is a nice waterfall nearby and there is a train there also for transport. The town is not large so you can walk through it with ease and there are nice little stores and places to eat

Was exciting to take the cog wheel train up to the top at Rigi Kulm.

This was a private all day tour with a wonderful guide who took time for detail on showing us the most he could during the day without being rushed. He made it very pleasant and exciting.

The Swiss travel pass is a must to have as it covers all your transportation, including the golden pass express train. We found it helpful to use for the cable car in Grindenwald and also to get us into the Chillon castle in Montrose with no extra cost. We also used it for the boat on Lake Lucerne and the Rigi Mountain cogwheel train up the mountain.
