Elia Ermou was lovely, especially right in the middle of Athens. The upper level restaurant had a perfect view and the staff was very nice.

Overview
Elia Ermou offers bright light, spacious rooms, and a perfect view of the Acropolis from its rooftop and several rooms. Those wanting a more up-close look of the Acropolis can be at the foot of the Parthenon in just 10 minutes. Elia Ermou boasts a juxtaposing position of both being in the center of a vibrant pedestrian street near Syntagma Square while offering its guests the peace, space, and luxury to relax.
Kimkim's Take

Pros
- The rooftop restaurant and bar offer fantastic unimpeded views of the Acropolis, and many rooms allow you to enjoy the same view from your balcony.
- Spa lovers can head down to the hotel spa or relax in the steam shower in your room if you book one with a private hammam.
- Its location puts you within walking distance of all the major areas of Athens: the shops of Ermou, the Acropolis, and all of the archaeological sites around Plaka, Monastiraki, and Syntagma.
- Soundproof windows keep out the noise of the streets down below.
- Elia Ermou is located on a busy corner of shops, restaurants, and cafés, which can feel overwhelming. But luckily, the soundproofed rooms work pretty effectively so that the hotel's interior is quiet and peaceful.
Authenticity
Once you go up to the roof or sit on your balcony to gaze at the Acropolis for a minute (or 30), you'll know and feel exactly where you are at Elia Ermou. The clear, unimpeded visual of the Acropolis from different points of the hotel makes you feel like you really are in Greece. While it's a focus of the hotel, Elia Ermou also tries to bring modern Greece into the picture. Some rooms and common spaces include original artwork by local Greek artists, all available to purchase.Location
Elia Ermou is located in a place where ancient and modern Greece meet. Many ancient archaeological sites are within reach—most of them no more than 15 minutes away by foot—and the modern Greek interest in tourism means this area is geared toward foreigners. So, there's something for everyone, as you can engage with either energy. Syntagma Square and Metro, plus the National Garden, are all just a 5-minute walk away, while the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and Monastiraki Square and Metro are all 10 minutes away on foot.Rooms & Bathrooms
Elia Ermou includes 123 clean, simple, and modern rooms of various types, including the executive room with a hammam or steam shower, family rooms that can sleep up to four people, and rooms with large balconies overlooking the Acropolis. All the rooms feel quite spacious, including the smallest, the Basic Double Standard. You can lay out your stuff, stretch your legs, or even exercise with the provided small weights and dumbbells in each room.Other Highlights
Considering many hotels in the Athens center have to work with nearby parking lots to get rates for hotel guests, Elia Ermou stands out thanks to its parking structure, where you can park conveniently and at a reasonable rate.Traveler Reviews

I am not a city person and this hotel is located within the city. That being said if you stay in Athens then you need to stay at this hotel! They have a restaurant on their rooftop with the perfect view of the Acropolis. Extremely beautiful! Plus the food was delicious. The rooms were cleaned and maintained, and they had a jacuzzi bathtub. Being in the city it was quiet at night within our room.

This hotel is perfectly situated in an area of Athens that's convenient for sight-seeing, shopping and dining. It was well appointed and the service was terrific. Breakfasts were generous and delicious with lots of variety and well-prepared options. Drinks on the outside deck under the stars looking out at the acropolis were the perfect way to end a day. Our room was spotless, spacious and accommodating. I highly recommend the Elia Ermou Athens Hotel.

Great location and spacious rooms with king beds! Liked the number of usb plugs. The Hotel seemed to get hot at night which didn’t lend itself to comfortable sleeping. Wish we could have made the room cooler.

The hotel was in a great location, but the room setup was a bit unusual. There was no counter space to put things on, which was inconvenient. However, overall, the room was comfortable and decent.
