Pros
  • The hotel's rooftop terrace offers spectacular city views and is the perfect place to relax and unwind with its bar, hammocks, and cozy seating.
  • You can enjoy various spa services, including massage, beauty treatments, a sauna, hot stone beds, a jetted aromatherapy shower, and more.
  • You'll be right in Palma's Old Town and around the corner from major sites like the Arab Baths and Catedral de Mallorca.
  • The lobby has a pretty cool lounge highlighting the hotel's history and Mallorca's natural environment, with tree-stump-like seating and a swinging egg chair.
Cons
  • Though the rooftop offers a bar, there's no restaurant at the hotel, so the only available food is the daily breakfast buffet.

Authenticity

Named after the neighboring Convent de Santa Clara, just around the corner from the hotel, Santa Clara Urban Hotel & Spa is in a refurbished building dating back to the 17th century. You'll still find some historical elements within the hotel, including stone walls in all rooms and the original inner courtyard terrace. These details contrast nicely with modern decor and art pieces.

Location

Santa Clara Urban Hotel & Spa is tucked into a quiet area of Palma's Old Town and near several religious sites, including the Convent de Santa Clara (where the nuns sell their famous homemade cookies). Around the corner and just two minutes by foot is the ancient Arab Bath, and the Catedral de Mallorca is just a five-minute walk away. You won't be far from Parc de la Mar and the seaside, and you'll find lots of eateries and shops on the neighboring streets.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The hotel's rooms are bright, airy, and colorful, mixing modern style and historical elements. All feature exposed stone walls from the original building. Some rooms offer balconies with city views, and suites provide more space and a few extra perks, such as separate living rooms, in-room jetted tubs, and/or lofted sleeping areas. All units have contemporary bathrooms and offer free hotel spa access.

Other Highlights

Enjoy relaxing or sipping drinks on the hotel's rooftop terrace with panoramic city views of the city and a bar. You'll find lots of comfy spaces on the rooftop, including sofas and hammocks. The spa is also a great place to relax. You can book treatments like massages and enjoy amenities like the sauna, steam bath, multi-jet shower with orange scent, hydro-massage bath, hot stone beds, and more.
