Pros

• The hotel has one of the best locations in Ciutadella de Menorca—you'll be in the city's center but on a quiet pedestrian street with charming architecture.
• With only five rooms, the property is tranquil and personable, allowing you to experience Menorca's genuine hospitality. 
• Staying in a historical 19th-century building means you'll experience lots of charming details, like exposed beams and archways.
• The Cavalleria room has a pretty cool private rooftop terrace. 

Cons

• As a standard property, you won't find amenities like a restaurant or pool, and the rooms are pretty simple. 
• Though not necessarily a con, as some might like a small hotel, just keep in mind that it feels a bit more like a bed-and-breakfast. 

Authenticity

This family-owned hotel converted a 19th-century townhouse into a quaint boutique lodging in the middle of historical Ciutadella. The building maintains some of its original charms, including brick archways, wood-beamed ceilings, and tile floors. You'll enjoy local products for breakfast and sit under an arched stone ceiling in the building's cellar. 

Location

You'll find Petit Hotel 5 Fars on what feels like a secret passageway, a picturesque marbled pedestrian street lined with quiet houses and a few businesses. Though tucked away, you won't be far from all the city's important sites. The Cathedral de Menorca is five minutes by foot, as is the Port and a few city markets. And since you'll be close to one of the main roads leading to the coast, you can reach the scenic Pont d'en Gil and Cala en Brut in less than 10 minutes. 

Rooms & Bathrooms

Simple and straightforward, the hotel's five rooms channel the building's history with exposed beams, stone ceilings, and/or tile flooring. Suites add seating areas and some rooms offer private terraces, with the Cavalleria Room featuring a rooftop terrace with city views. The bathrooms are clean and modern but a little small in the standard room tier.
