“Hi There - we were wanting to do a trip to the Tayrona National Park and will be flying into Santa marta on the 18th of June at 4:15 and departing on the 22nd of June at 1pm. We would love a mix of walks and nature as well as culture and was also interested in visiting Palomino. We both love art, design, culture and animals. I am a designer and visual artist from Australia and my partners family is originally from Colombia. we are really looking forward to visiting Tayrona and hope to hear from you soon.”

Summary of the trip planning conversation
3-4 days is the perfect amount of time to visit the area. What kind of accommodation would you like?
There are several options, we usually recommend to stay outside the Tayrona Park and visit it for the day. Outside the Tayrona pak there are really nice hotels in wonderful spots, between the mountains and the sea, with access to the beach.
In the Tayrona Park, hotels are more expensive but you also have the option to sleep in hammocks for a cheaper price and a more adventurous experience. If you are good hikers, there are nice 2-days treks to do, although really hard, with a lot of rocks to climb! (it depends on your trekking level).
We can also include a visit in Palomino during those 4 days, as well as the transportation between the airport and your accommodation.
