Leave the Soča Valley behind to enter the rolling hills and family vineyards of Goriška Brda, Slovenia's wine country. Here you can bike through the hills, climb a village tower for great views of the area, and of course visit local winemakers to taste this year's vintage.
The following morning, visit the Lipica Equestrian Park, home of the graceful Lipizzan horses before you cross the border to Rovinj, on the coast.
