We (party of 4 adults/2 couples from USA) had an amazing time while on vacation in Morocco. Everything went smoothly from the initial contact with KimKim.com, throughout the pre-planning process and follow-up with Said, and along the trip itself with our knowledgeable and friendly tour guides Faisal and Hannan. The tour we picked (Taste of Morocco/8-days) was customizable to our specific needs and wants, and everyone was accommodable to changes throughout the trip. The hotels (Riads), all 5-star, were fantastic and it was hard to pick a favorite. They were very clean, comfortable and 1st Class, with Moroccan flair. We felt the cost was very reasonable. The food in Morocco was fantastic and we did not have a bad meal anywhere inside or outside of our hotels. The add-on activities and sites were well organized and we were delivered on time to all activities. The tour van was large enough for all of our large luggage, comfortable, fairly new and was non-smoking with A/C. Faisal was our daily guide for the week and we could not have asked for a better guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, funny and neat. We enjoyed being with Faisal everyday and we trusted his Moroccan insight and felt very safe everywhere we went. Faisal directed us to the best things of interest at every stop and advised us as to what to do and what not to do if we were unsure. He was key in making the trip unforgettable. Hannan who spent an entire day with us in Marrakesh, guided us through the Medina souks and took us on an evening food tour. She too was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We appreciated her market insight and the extra time she spent to show us to specific places of interest and shops. For anyone wanting to see all Morocco has to offer, we highly recommend using KimKim.com and the Taste of Morocco tour. If you are able to work with Said, Faisal and Hannan, we guarantee you will have a wonderful time in Morocco. Thanks to all of them from all of us for making our vacation unforgettable. Location was awesome, as the hotel was inside the Medina and very close to souk (shopping) area and square. The two swimming pools were a great place to cool off. Must spend at least 2 days here. Ayoub was our driver for our 9 day trip and we had a great time! With 2 small children and long drives in-between locations, he gave us a lot of breaks and did his best to make sure we were comfortable. Ayoub also dealt with minor issues and hiccups with flexibility and efficiency.

We also appreciated that he interacted well with our kids and made sure to keep them involved. They had a wonderful time!

Our only recommendation would be for Kim Kim to provide more realistic details of what to expect. For instance, the dinner with the family ended up being us having dinner by ourselves while they served us. Kim Kim suggested we could join them in the kitchen, but by the time we got there, that wasn't an option. Also, while the son was sweet, it felt like he was our waiter who sat with us occasionally. Another example, the driving times were incorrect. The first day our itinerary said 4.5 hours, but it was almost double that. Our driver said it was 4.5 hours from Rabat, but it took hours just to get there first. Our driver drove well, but with traffic and such that's just how long it took. Many of the driving days, Kim Kim did not give the correct driving estimate.

In terms of room bookings, it seems it is common for the kids to have separate rooms, which is fine, but booking them in adjacent rooms would be ideal or even on the same floor. In a couple of the riads we were on opposite sides of the complex and on different floors. If your kids are afraid to be alone, this will not work for you. We ended up doing one parent with one child, but that is not our preference.

We had a wonderful time touring Morocco with Youness! He made the trip a lot of fun for us. It was nice to have a reliable local driving us; it made it so that we could focus on exploring and site seeing, without having to worry about the logistics. He also introduced us to some great new music and was up for some good laughs along the way. He took us too some hidden gems, including an excellent place to by dates. It really was fantastic to have someone local who could direct us to the best restaurants, coffee spots, clean bathrooms, etc. I was really impressed how he well he knew all the areas we toured and was always ready to take us to the next cool spot to explore. He showed us how lovely and kind the people of Morocco are, both with our first hand experience with him, and by our interactions with others along the journey. He also made sure we ate the best of what Morocco offers! Olives, dates, warm breads, goat cheese,
so many tagiens and of course couscous Friday. Thank you Youness!

My favorite place on the trip was Fes. The city was beautiful and the blue everywhere was really spectacular, especially from the view at our hotel, Dar Jasmine. I would love to return to both the city and the hotel. We had an excellent day tour with Zarah, who knew the city well and clearly loved where she is from. Having her take us through the Medina was a real treat; she navigated it perfectly and explained the different sections as we explored. She also took us to an excellent place for street food / kabobs where many locals were eating. The Medina in Fes had something for everyone; we were looking for high quality rugs and other gifts and Zarah was able to help us find what we were looking for. We also really enjoyed seeing the pottery made outside of the Medina.... and definitely bought a few beautiful pieces that we will have forever.

The Medina in Marrakech was also a lot of fun; it was much larger, busier and had more energy than Fes, which was part of the experience and the fun. We had another excellent day tour through this Medina with Ahmed, who filled us in on both the history and current happenings, along with helping us navigate the maze and find the types of markets we were looking for.

Just returned from our fabulous tour of Morocco! We were met at Casablanca Airport by our trip Driver/Guide, Samir who not only most knowledgeable about Morocco but an expert driver who managed the sometimes tricky roads of Morocco with ease. I should mention this is our third visit to Morocco with the first one being only 55 years ago. Obviously things have changed and for the better since then.
After a short stay in Casablanca we headed to Chefchaouen a picturesque town on the side of the Atlas mountains. A bit too vertical for people our age but we would not have missed it for anything.
Loved Fez and our gorgeous hotel. Spent two nights there and could have spent many more.
Now on to the desert with a two hour camel ride to the Luxury Camp with the friendliest people you every met. We have made good friends with people like Mustapha and the others. If you have been on a camel before a two hour ride is great but as a beginner you may want to only make it a half hour ride.
After a one night stop in Boumaine Dades high in the most gorgeous mountains you have ever seen, it was on to Marrakesh for three nights. Again one beautiful hotel ideally situated with great meals. My wife is most talkative and found that all the people she talked to were very friendly with some even giving her a kiss goodbye.
Our last stop in Morocco was Essaouira at the Atlantic coast of Morocco. A beautiful seaside town with cool breezes and most friendly people at the hotel we stayed.
We are every tired but would do it again at the drop of a hat.

The trip was wonderful, the thoughtfulness of the trip planning exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful new driver that was kind and thoughtful and available for our every need. Learning about Morocco and seeing so many beautiful and historic sights was a dream. We definitely crammed a bit much into our trip so we would advise not too do quite as much as we did because there were some long travel days. Overall a once in a lifetime experience.

It was a great experience for our recent 17-day Moroccan tour organized through KimKim. The tour was tailored for our 8 person team, and it turned out great. Thanks to Hakim who provided us everything we needed from the initial suggestions to the final itinerary through many correspondences. Hakim was continuously in touch during our trip to ensure service excellence. Our driver Abdou was with us the whole trip. He was professional and kind, a gentleman we all adored and trusted. When we need to cross the road, Abdou always made sure that we could cross the rod safely. The hotels/Riads were awesome, and everything was arranged seamlessly.

We spent 10 days in Morocco travelling around with a private tour manager and driver. The planning portion of the trip was lead by Sharon who was always very quick to respond and very patient with all of our questions and changes. Sharon made great recommendations and helped curate a great itinerary for us. The places we saw were so beautiful. The places we stayed were great and as expected or better. The local guides that were arranged were very personable and informative. Yassine our tour guide and driver was always very accommodating and patient. Yassine was knowledgeable about the country, local/social customs, the spots to experience the best views, the best coffee “nos nos”, guidance on where to buy things we were interested in and always made an effort to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We are very pleased with KimKim and the places and people we experienced because of using their services. We enjoyed our trip to Morocco prepared carefully to meet our specific travel needs and time constraints. AbdelLatif was patient with us and worked through several versions of an itinerary to tailor it just right. We visited Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech in an 7-day trip and all said and done it turned out exactly as we had planned. We recently came back from an amazing 10 days tour of the beautiful country Morocco from Sep 16 – 25, 2023. This was a get-together of 44 classmates who came from various countries including, USA, UK, Pakistan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
All the arrangements made by the tour company, Original Travels, were simply outstanding. Their services were prompt and professional and courteous. The tour guides provided by the company were highly knowledgeable about the geography, history and culture of Morocco. They were polite and extremely helpful.
The tour company’s operations Manager Said and tour guides Noureddin and Ayoub who accompanied us during the entire tour always catered to our demands and looked after every legitimate request. They truly went the extra mile with a smile.

The tour your organised was very good and enjoyable. Accommodation was very good in all places we stayed. The food provided at riads you selected was also memorable. The only exception was the Riad in El Jadida where food was average or below and very, very expensive.

I have previously used Kimkim to organise a tour and I was very pleased with the success of our current private tour of Morocco. Hakim was very responsive to our requests and always provided positive assistance and useful recommendations. Hakim was able to organise activities to meet our special requests for the extra days on our tour.

Our tour took place just after the 2023 earthquake and our itinerary needed to be changed at short notice. Hakim quickly responded to this situation and provided us with suitable alternatives.

Our driver Abdou was with us for the whole trip. Our modern mini-bus comfortably accommodated the 8 of us in our party and was always clean. Abdou is a very good driver and we never had any doubts about his driving skills and wayfinding through the wide range of road conditions on our tour. Abdou was very friendly and willing to help us along our way - stopping at appropriate shops for refreshments as well as banks and supermarkets, etc. when required. There were also the occasional stops along the way when we saw something of interest to our group. He made sure we met the various guides used on our tour on time and met us at the end of our tours if we needed to be driven anywhere. Abdou spoke good English.

The accommodation Hakim organised for us was always clean and in beautiful riads, well-located for the activities we were undertaking. The guides Hakim organised to give us tours along the way were all very professional and some were outstanding.

The most important is to give thanks to Youness our driver that made our trip so pleasant and safe. No doubt he made us feel always happy
This trip was magical and beyond our expectations.

We recently came back from an amazing 10 days tour of the beautiful country Morocco from Sep 16 – 25, 2023. This was a get-together of 44 classmates who came from variuos countries including, USA, UK, Pakistan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
All the arrangements made by the tour company, Original Travels, were simply outstanding. Their services were prompt and professional and courteous. The tour guides provided by the company were highly knowledgeable about the geography, history and culture of Morocco. They were polite and extremely helpful.
The tour company’s operations Manager Said and tour guides Noureddin and Ayoub who accompanied us during the entire tour always catered to our demands and looked after every legitimate request. They truly went the extra mile with a smile.
I would highly recommend Original Travels to all of my friends and family in Canada who might be interested in visiting Morocco in future.
