Clean and comfortable place to stay. Located near the secret garden and medina, which made it easier for us to explore the medina ourselves at our own time.

This hotel appeared run-down which we wondered if it was due to the recent earthquake in September 2023. The lights in the room were flickering throughout the night and the rooftop jacuzzi was closed for renovation.

Tiziri camp is a luxury camp because it provides a toilet and a shower facility within each room, which is certainly a luxury in the middle of a desert. The comfort of staying at this campsite is not to be compared to comfort of staying at a hotel in a city. Nonetheless, this campsite is comfortable to stay at for 3D2N and it has several activities that allow you to understand more about the desert and the nomads living there. Thanks to the enthusiastic and approachable staffs at this campsite, we really enjoyed our stay in the desert and learnt so much about the Berber culture. Would recommend this campsite to all first timers to the desert!

Gorgeous hotel decorations and spacious hotel rooms. Staffs are very friendly and approachable as well. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience staying in a Riad!

Nice and quiet hotel with great view of Chefchaouen.

Service is great but the hotel and room decorations are fairly old. Would be good if towels can be changed as they seemed overused.

Enjoyed the medina tour with local guide Hanaan who shared with us about the history of the palace and also helped us with our souvenir shopping.

We are thankful for our driver being our guide at Ait Ben Haddou. We did not visit Telouet (that was listed in the itinerary) as it was closed for repair after the recent earthquake in September.

This was a fairly long drive with multiple stops in between - ie fossil factory, desert rose shop, Todra Gorge and silverware shop. Our driver became our guide for this segment as this was his hometown.

Definitely a highlight of this trip! First was the 2 hour camel ride to the camp site at sunset/under night sky. We had campfire at night under the gorgeous night sky while listening to Berber music performance by the staffs. On the following day, we visited a nomad tent to learn about the nomadic way of life, visited Gnawa House, tried Berber pizza for lunch and ended the day with sandboarding at sunset. The staffs at the camp site were very hospitable and approachable, which made the whole experience very enjoyable. Would recommend this to all first timers to the desert!

The entire journey took around 8 hours (even without much stops in between). It was not possible to stop for the stops recommended in the itinerary as we had to reach Merzouga Desert before sunset. We ended up exploring Erfoud (fossil factory) after returning from the desert.

Enjoyed this activity as we got to learn more about the education system and food culture in Morocco from a local family.

Great experience in the medina with local guide Cherif! Learnt a lot about moroccan history and culture. Shopping can be quite pricey though as you will be brought to the cooperative shops (where you will be paying for the guaranteed quality).

The visit was Volubilis was enjoyable with the help of a local guide to explain the sites to us. Otherwise, we would have been totally lost as there weren't much signages around to explain what we were looking at. We did not visit Moulay Idriss (at the advice of the driver) and only drove through Meknes (as it was under construction).

The local guide certainly helped us to better appreciate the mosque and its interior designs.

This was cut short as we had to visit the mosque and to rush to Chefchaouen by sunset after that.

WOW!!! Everything about this place - the welcome tea and cookies, the outdoor patio, the decor, the locations in this sweet town, the dinner and breakfast - oh my, ALL PERFECTION!!!!!

What a fun little place. They staff took pride in this camp. We had a wonderful time. Never camped or glamped before - we were happy!

We did not enjoy this stay. The rugs were gross, the bath/shower/sink faucets did not work. There was hardly any light to light the room. It felt very dirty. I would have rather stayed at the Hotel we could see from the top of the old palace where we climed to to the top (just past the game of thrones entry). There was a hotel there - we could see the pool. We would have loved to have stayed in this part of town beause we could leave our hotel and wander the area. The location we went to had nothing to wander - we just stayed in our hotel room before and after dinner and watched a movie - but we would have loved to have shopped and walked around and bought tea and cookies.

We loved this place. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. After the first breakfast they kept track of what we liked or requested and these items were available for them the next day. We learned, although breakfast was amazing, it was a slow breakfast. Knowing this BEFORE our first morning would have been great : "Rian Le Pelerin has a beautifully set slow breakfast that comes to you fresh - so make sure you come down earlier if you plan to enjoy all they offer"

A intimate look at the lives of those who live in the green pastures we kept seeing from our view points and long drives. It brought a deeper understanding of how these areas look up close and the people who work and walk them.

There was only 1 board. For a family of five, this meant a lot of waiting. T

The camel ride was great. This was our first time doing this.

This place was special. We took off a star because i think Said signed us up for 5 veggie tajins. We probably should have had 2 cous cous and 3 veggie tajins. By the end of all of that cooking, had nothing but veggies to eat over an over again. I think you mau have signed up up for 2 cous cous and 3 veggie tajine - but we didnt know, so when we told them we were veggie they put us in the 5 veggie tajin spots. I think the other large party must have had one veggie tajin and they took our cous cous. the kids and i were hungry and sad after this experience. eveyry other gorup had 2 or 3 different items to dine on and we had just veggies.

This was the slow but informative pace we needed after a long travel in. Our guide was kind and spoke to the history and architecture and kept our kids engaged.

The only reason it is not 5 stars is because only one restaurant was open.

This was a great break from the Riads. Would have liked a full day here!

A great insight into Riads.

This was our favorite city. We liked that we had the afternoon on our own (no guide) so we could get away from the souk and explore some streets off the beaten path.

This was a wonderful addition to the trip. The family who hosted us was lovely. It was especially interesting to see the family dynamics.

Didn’t do it - we were exhausted and overwhelmed

The Medina was very interesting, but we didn’t need that much time there…it became a little overwhelming.

The riad is really beautiful, but the bed was so hard that I had a terrible night's sleep.

I felt like I stayed in a palace! What a cool place to be. The views are jawdropping!

This was such a lovely riad. The people there were very helpful. The breakfast and welcome tea was wonderful. And you're right off of the spice souk, so your senses are in overdrive as soon as you arrive.

This was my favorite experience for my entire trip. We were only there for one night, but what a magical one it was. The staff was phenomenal! Absolutely loved this place!

The hotel staff were wonderful. I asked to be on the first floor, Senna was very accomadating and moved my room.

Standard hotel for overnight stay in Casablanca before your Flight. No water bottle were served in the room.

The best Riad I had stayed throughout my stay. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the environment is quiet. Breakfast is good too.

Dar Settash is one of the Riads that has architectural beauty. The intricate tile work is amazing. I received a warm welcome from Fatima, as I arrived late she helps me order for my dinner. You can catch the sunrise and the view of the whole city from the rooftop.

This Riad has distinctive feature, its homey and lush like garden inside. I was given a room that the toilet window was facing the hallway. I need to shower in the dark. And during checkout, the reception is empty and waited for more than 15 mins but only the ladies attended to me. I end up carrying my 25 kg luggage down the steep stairway in order to meet my driver on time.

The Staff are hospitable, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

It's nice to experience Hammam and massage but I thought the place should be quiet and relaxing but you can hear Staff from outside giggling and talking to each other during the massage.

My guide here is knowledgeable about the location and explains the culture and history of the place. It's just that he has a bit of attitude, after he fetch me from my Riad, my driver and I waited for him inside the car as he is still smoking.

The drive is quiet long but my driver Ayoub make is so comfortable, he explain our route before we start our journey.

At this place you are greeted and treated like family. The food is beyond believable. It is delicious and plentyful and there are smiles all around

I am not use to glamping! This was the perfect elegance in the desert! Pure tranquility.

Exquisite! Simplistic beauty. tiled from floor to ceiling and Moorish Islamic architecture of doors.Clean and beds are comfortable. In the morning, breakfast awaited us with an array of items. The staff was above and beyond every opportunity. Hot tea was always a welcoming when we returned from our day in the Medina.

Love this Riad was in the midst of Chefchaquen. Charming! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lots of stairs, Breakfast and dinner were delicious. A little noisy if your room is over the courtyard. The view was wonderful, the group in the courtyard were celebrating a birthday until about 10:30pm. Otherwise, Just lovely!!

Charming, loved my stay. A lovely breakfast array of foods - delicious as well as the inner menu. Staff were attentive and professional.

De ended the High Atlas Mountains tight winding road that offered a beautiful panoramic view of the valley

The high Atlas Mountains overlooking the valley of the Dades, breathtaking Views of mad ash. A movie studio is here that filmed Game of thrones, Gladiator. And lots of others. Visited the Kasbah - high winds

A camel ride into the dunes for a night’s stay!! Beautiful sunrise and multiple colors of sunset The middle Atlas Mountains was a retreat. We passed through forests with monkeys populated with Berber tribes. We visited Cascades D’ouzoud a beautiful falls cascading down to the village of Azrou. There is fishing, camping and swimming , good restaurant and shopping; lots of geology; geodes, fossils .

Fes was the best Midievil Medina with narrow alley ways opening up to marketplaces with motorists and donkey carts also making their way too. I visited the tannery; superb leather goods, ceramics, anything you could imagine was there. At the ceramic tile factory you can have made to order items to ship to your home

On the way to Fes, we stopped to visit an ancient kingdom of Volubilis and how the cultures here at the time formed Morocco! There are the ruins from the ancient Romans and the other city of Meknes that flourished

After we checked in to our hotel, we set out exploring on the cobble stone walkways that wind around and up and down narrow walkways of a sky blue. Just so uplifting with open shopping for anything that dazzles the eye! But you must learn to bargain. And take a short hike to the Spanish mosque. Once up there you will see how this lovely blue city sits between two mountains . I suggest Dawn for sunrise

In Rabat, we visited the mausoleum of Mahammed V, ; beautiful columns of marble, embellished fountains with tile work, horsemen on their mounts at the entry gates and beautiful engraved copper candelabras at the entrance. another great tour was of the Oudaia Kasbah, a hilltop fortress built in the 17th-18 century. Our drive to Chefchaouen was 4 hours of conversation of culture, learning words and phrases, customs with our guide Yassim. The blue city was an eye catcher built between two mountains. The walkways are all paved with stones, lots of shopping and cafe's. This is where I learned to bargan, an art in itself. I wanted to catch sunrise and hiked 20 minutes up to the Spanish Mosque. A spectacular view of Chefchaquen below.

In Casablanca, The Hassan 11 Mosque was extraordinary. It is acceptable for a non-Muslim to enter so we did and the architecture is amazing: authentic Moroccan architecture, hand carved marble walls, fountains.. We learned the importance and value of this Mosque. We then came to infamous Ricks Café which was actually built in 2004 based off the movie by Humphrey Bogart. It was closed this time of day so I will have to come back. We had a lovely lunch close to the water, searched for exchange places then off to Rabat.

Beautiful and luxurious, good prix fixe dinner. Wish we could have spent more time there!

Very nice people. Unoriginal food and very commercial, again. We did find some streets without shops and appreciated seeing the homes.

Loved the town but round trip in a day in uncomfortable car was tough.

Very nice family and it was interesting to see a home in the old city but food was the same as every other meal.

Knowledgeable guide. It as fine for the imperial city but we would have enjoyed seeing more modern parts of Fes.

Nice local guide who tried his best but a man in our party wasn’t feeling well and we tried taking the easier route down. Unfortunately it was very commercial. More of a giant souvenir stand than a natural wonder. We cut the walk short. Lunch was the same menu as everywhere.

Local guide Hamid was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Marrakech and Moroccan history. He spoke to us for a very long time before we started walking and it was difficult to retain all the information he shared. We walked through more of the large souk than we cared to. The merchandise was repeated over and over and the roaring speeding motorcycles were dangerously close most of the time. We decided not to do the food tour in the market square because we were very tired and toured out. Hamid was understanding about the change in plans and quickly brought us to a nearby restaurant. However, it didn’t serve alcohol and we would have liked wine and vodka.

We stayed at Movenpick Hotel 2 nights upon arriving and leaving for the airport. The first visit, we had no hot water. The breakfast was very good. It seems a bit far from the airport and we might have benefitted from lodging closer to our flights.

Long but pleasant drive

Our Driver shared with us a visit to his home where we met his mom, dad, cousin, and brother. They were all so gracious and welcoming. Mom prepared an amazing meal with three courses of Moroccan delights. This experience was an honor and highlight of our trip.

Excellent guide!! The Medina is a vast maze! We would have been lost without a guide and would not have enjoyed the visit nearly as much. I am so glad we didn't try to tour it by ourselves.

Very hot the day we toured. Remember to take water. Certainly worth the time to visit.

Beautiful Mosque!! Tour was very informative

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. We were not in a super busy area and were not expecting such an amazing hotel. The accomadations, decor, food, service were superb. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing hotel/camp. Staff were so friendly. Accommodations were incredible for being in the middle of the desert. Food was excellent.

Good amount of room and location. However, hotel rooms were dark and not completely clean. Also, some faucets and drains did not work well. The kitchen/food staff were run very well and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast here.

Dar Jasmine was a stairway to heaven, literally! Sitting on top of a hill, one has to navigate the long winding stairs leading to a magnificent property up on the hills overlooking the Blue city. My only regret is staying there for just one night. It was bittersweet to leave as we wanted more. The garden was lush and tranquil, it was so relaxing to just sit there and look out to the hills. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the food at dinner and breakfast was so good!

Rooms are dated. Breakfast was excellent. Electrical outlets were loose and had trouble with the adapters
