Beautiful Riad. I wish we had more than one night to spend in Meknes.

The Riad was amazing. And the staff was very accommodating and lovely. We enjoyed our stay immensely. This was our introduction to Moroccan hospitality at its finist! Abundance of food fro breakfast.

This was probably the most unfortunate part of our trip. We were totally not prepared for the hike and our local guide, although lovely, spoke no English at all. This is probably the most dangerous hike I have ever gone on. The waterfall and the streams are exquisite. But the hike was on slippery sharp stones and no clear path. We hiked over slippery waterways. And it was unclear exactly where we were being taken ( to the Bridge? or to the Waterfall?) We were lucky that no one got seriously injured. Only a few of our very experienced hikers did the entire hike. Three of us stopped along the way and waited by the stream for the others to return. One of our party was guided back and waited by the van

Our local guid was knowledgable but was very rushed and only spent a few hours with us in the morning

Wow - This was an amazing oasis, right in the Medina of Marrakesh. It looked very modest on the outside, but inside was a tropical paradise. We found we just wanted to spend time at the hotel and lounge by the pool. I also used the spa for a manicure and Hammam treatment (both were wonderful). The breakfast had a wonderful variety and the dinner was also excellent. This was our favorite hotel in Morocco and I hope to return someday.

Another beautiful Riad. The room was very nicely decorated and we had a very nice dinner at the Riad. The staff was very accommodating, warm and welcoming.

We really enjoyed how this was multiple Riad’s combined into a single Palais. Each separate Riad had a unique character and the overall Palais was beautiful. Our room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was particularly good with lots of options.

This Riad was right inside the Medina and was beautifully decorated on the inside. Like many of the Riad’s it was very modest on the outside and opened up into a beautiful courtyard. The room was spotless and unique. The staff was warm and very welcoming. We enjoyed out stay very much.

We had a wonderful time staying in such comfortable accommodations in the desert. The staff was very welcoming and endearing. Our room was beautifully appointed and was a very fancy tent for being in the desert. The staff did a wonderful job with music entertainment in the evening and worked hard to make sure everyone had a good time. In the morning, we went for a sunrise camel ride. This was a very special experience and the guide was very patient and knowledgeable.

We absolutely loved this experience. It was very fun to shop in the market for the ingredients and then to make each course. The chef was such a wonderful person. She was very warm, knowledgeable and just a delight. I can’t recommend this enough. And her foods were better than most of the foods we got in the restaurants.

This was a beautiful hike. We initially hiked up to the waterfall and then Mohammad adjusted to do a hike around the Atlas Mountains (there was an option to hike up to more waterfalls, but it involved a lot of scramblings). We absolutely loved the scenery and getting to better understand the Berber culture. This was one of our favorite activities. Mohammad was an excellent guide and even welcomed us into his home for tea. He and his family were very endearing and we felt very honored to have tea in his home.

We loved having food from small local favorites. All the food was delicious. We enjoyed the donuts, the harissa soup and walking across the square for the main course. I would caution vegetarians, that the main course is a meat dish without an option for vegetarians (even though the guide knew there was a vegetarian). But it was still a great experience.

Zara was a very knowledgeable guide and we really enjoyed both the tour and shopping in Fez.

We enjoyed all the historical information. The only downside is the chaos of the Marrakesh Medina (beyond the guides control).

While it was a long drive for this activity, it is a very unique experience. It was wonderful to be in the desert and to ride the camels out to the sunrise.

While we enjoyed this activity, we would have liked to have had more choices over the wines we tasted. Generally they were giving us very generous pours, but we would have preferred more tastings with smaller pours. The wine and appetizers were all very good, but after doing price comparisons later, the prices for wines at the winery were expensive. But the setting for the tasting was absolutely beautiful.

This was a very unique experience. We all enjoyed the traditional body scrub. This included a sauna, followed by a full body scrub and rinse. Afterward we were all ready to just fall asleep. I would highly recommend this experience.

Great hotel and location, unluckly the food was the worst of the trip!

Ok for 1 night, not the best

We had a few problem at the start and half of the tour was done by another guide (inside of the Moscow the guide couldn't enter?). The visit of the Medina was however really good

The setting of this kasbah is absolutely stunning. The outdoor area has striking views and a REALLY nice pool. The room we stayed in was spacious - bigger than we needed - and the staff was so helpful and kind. We took a guided tour of the old village just up the road from the hotel and it was my favorite spot on our trip. Not flooded with tourists, well cared for by the townspeople and guides, and views that will knock you off of your feet. DO NOT skip that tour if you have the opportunity.

This place is truly breathtaking when you ride up on your camel. They have all kinds of lanterns and lights for ambiance, walkways of rugs on top of the sand, private tents with electricity and - I really could not believe it - a private WC and shower IN your tent. They perform some traditional Berber music after dinner by the fire which was fun to watch and join in with. The dining experience was a little over the top for me - I would have preferred something a little more toned down. But that might not be the case for you!

The hair at this hotel is just one of the nicest people I’ve met. So friendly and kind. Room was clean and food was good. Located in a cute small town in the Valley of Roses. Would definitely go back!

Great way to experience a traditional Moroccan Riad right in the old town part of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay at Dar Rihanna Dades Hotel was. The staff was so attentive to our needs. One of our party was on crutches and the staff were so kind and helpful to her --- above and beyond what you might expect. Our rooms were large and comfortable and the food was amazing! Michelin starred worthy!

This hotel was lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful both at the restaurant for breakfast and at the front desk. 3/5 stars for a couple reasons: - the place felt a bit rundown to me. Furniture and finishes were a little beat-up and the quality felt like it took a hit because of that. - the rooftop bar/restaurant was terrible! We ate there one night when we had had a long day and wanted the convenience. The prices were exceptionally high relative to the rest of our time at much better places, and the food was sub-par. It was the worst tagine I ate the entire trip.

Off the charts. One of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever stayed in. The Riad is an amazing display of all the Andalucian-influenced architecture and design of Northern Morocco. Honestly I thought the tile and wood and overall design of this hotel rivaled many of the historical sites we visited specifically to see this work. The courtyard where we dined for breakfast everyday was the most beautiful and peaceful place. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious. Service in our room was precisely as you would want - multiple services per day but we didn't notice or encounter them in our room or even in the hallways once during our entire 3-night stay! We also used the spa, which was small - 1 practitioner working on the days we were there - but the facility was beautiful and the massage I had was one of the best I've EVER had. And the value of the spa treatments is incredible compared to what you would pay in the US.

A super charming small hotel in Chaouen. We only stayed one night but the service at the desk was personal and super helpful. Our room had windows facing the inside light shaft of the building, so there wasn't a ton of natural light, but that design seems to be pretty typical in the Morocco old cities. The breakfast was AMAZING! We thought it was the best we had the whole trip. Rather than a buffet like other places, they brought everything out to our table fresh and hot and setup a beautiful spread!

Our tour guide Hanan was incredible. She spent nearly 8hrs with us taking us through the Souk, showing us all the best stalls and making sure we got to see and buy what we wanted her. At one point I asked when she had to leave and she insisted she was staying with us to ensure we had seen everything we wanted to see and then she walked us all the way back to our riad. I would recommend her 100x over to anyone visiting Morocco.

One of the best Roman ruins outside of Rome that I've visited!! My wife taught me how to really enjoy this place - walking the town and orienting to the inside of the homes as though we were actually living there 2000 years ago. We really enjoyed this visit. We did not take a tour guide and so relied heavily on internet searches and the info from our Lonely Planet book. If I did it again, I would take a guide - of which there are many sitting at the front waiting to be hired.

Riad Lina is a charming place high on the hill. Expect to be climbing steps in Chefchouen, and at this Riad. We had a view of the city and sunset from the semi-private terrace. Our room was comfortable and we particularly enjoyed having a swim in the pool, which is room-temp. We are vegetarian/vegan, and the hotel prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast for us. I would prefer to have more vegan protein, aside from wheat. We did taste 5 kinds of local bread.! Highly recommend this Riad.

Kirwan Riad is located a short walk from where the cars park, through the medina. Our room was lovely but we could not find a switch for one light behind a door, and the cellphone given to us by the Riad rang at 1:30am. The patio was not private, as the dividing screen had fallen. The breakfast was excellent for our vegetarian, but limited to bread and fruit for our vegan. I wish there was some breakfast grain and plant-based milk available to provide protein.

Jamal took us on a five hour tour through the medina, and to the fort, and ceramic cooperative and suggested a wonderful restaurant for a vegetarian/vegan tastes. We enjoyed learning about Fez, the history, culture, religion, and traditions of the handicrafts. We did make large purchases of rugs and ceramics- after seeing the unique quality of the handiwork. There is extraordinary craftmanship to be seen in Fez! We enjoyed the tannery, yarn dying, watching artisans at work, and walking through the busy medina. Highly recommended!

Abderrazaq drove us on a side trip to Volubilis, where we met with a guide selected by the tour company. It was a fantastic walk through Volubilis, many mosaics remain, and reconstruction of some structures. Even without the reconstruction, it is possible to see how the large mansions were laid out, and to grasp a bit about life in this city 4,500 years ago. Our driver choose a charming restaurant for vegan/vegetarian lunch. Additionally, we were happy to see the fields and small towns along the drive, and understand more about the Morrocan way of life and economy.

Our guide, Imad, had studied history and gave us a fuller understanding of the city’s growth in relationship to Spain. He took us on a 2 mile walk to see sites, and was always happy to answer our questions about the culture, city, and the religion. We highly recommend this tour!

We loved staying here! Staff was fabulous - so helpful and friendly. The location was amazing as well! A/C was cool and much appreciated after a long day walking!

Truly one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, from the staff to the room itself, it was beyond impressive!

Awful hotel - my sheet had blood stains on it, the air conditioner didn't work even after the repairman left, and the food was not good. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

STUNNING - a spot out of a Conde Neste magazine. Clean, friendly, and GORGEOUS from the recent remodel. No pool to use.

Loved the music at night, the food was delicious and the team serving us were very kind and friendly. We had the "royal tent" so I can't complain much. The water in the sinks was brown as was the water in the shower but we chalked it up to being in the desert.

Our room was too small - we could not open our luggage all the way b/c there was no space.

2/4 rooms had toilets overflowing. The room overlooking the ocean was fantastic but the rest of the rooms were not as nice. One person had to stay up very late so the plumber could finish working on the toilet. The hotel seemed a little sad. BUT, great location.

FANTASTIC! We loved the historical nature of it, the warm pool, and the spa as well. Beautiful, serene courtyard.

This did not happen but Hassan was kind enough to have us over at his family's home where we had lunch.

I learned very little about Tangier from this guide. We had to pull information out of her. Most of the time she was on her phone and taking selfies. Sweet but immature and I would sadly not use her again but I hope you choose another female guide in the future.

I could not understand this guide's English and he gave vague answers to many questions.

Ismael was the best guide on our tour - fun, friendly, brilliant, knew just how much information to share.

The tour guide was perfect for Fez - he was intellectual and very proud of his city. It felt a bit like a shopping tour more than a historical tour so I would see if the tourists FIRST want shopping. Sometimes he didn't read the group - we were tired and so there was some information overload in the end.

magical is all i can say. tents are really like studio apartments - very comfortable, no sand inside anywhere. food was perfect, staff amazing, location....well, you just have to go to see it, words cannot describe

you will want to be sure to stay here at least 2 nights....it's an amazing spa-type atmosphere with the most unbelievable garden and pool area. Bed was so comfortable i was sad to leave it in the morning

One thing to note - there are no banks or ATMs in this entire region...this hotel does accommodate PayPal which was a blessing as everywhere else is cash only. Be sure to plan ahead with regards to payments
