We stayed at really beautiful riads, and our driver, Mohammed Jbari ensured we had a smooth trip. He was polite, helpful and would point out interesting sights as we drove, especially on long drives.

Our driver Abdellatif was with us for the duration of our tour and he provided a lot of information regarding customs and traditions of Morocco. He was patient and courteous and always mindful of taking care of our needs.
One of the benefits of a tour like this is not only will the organizer continue to monitor your tour but should any problem, however minor, arise they are quick to settle the issue.

At Dar Al Madina Al Kadima, we seemed to be the only guests, and twice we found ourselves unable to exit because the door was locked. Once in the evening, around 6:30 PM, when heading out for dinner, and another on our day of departure. While it didn't affect us much, it could have been serious in case of an emergency.

The experience in the desert with the sunset camel ride from Todra Gorges to Merzouga was incredible. It was my first time in the desert and riding camels, and sleeping in a tent in the desert was unforgettable. Everything was well organized and it was a very good experience, definitely worth it.

The Blue City, Chefchaouen, was an outstanding place to visit. Despite the rain during our time there, which was welcomed by the locals after a long dry period, the city's beauty shone through. The picturesque blue streets are a must-see, and even rain couldn't detract from the experience.

Driver Mohammed was fantastic: informative, happy, dressed well. He accommodated bathroom stops a lunch stops for us and we were always in a spotlessly clean vehicle. Riads were great, especially Kniza except for Riad Ghita in Fes. HVAC didn’t work, separate building but people , food were great. We did so many things but maybe too much bc we did a lot of driving and had to skip some natural sights to get to the next town. Loved camel camp, experience and stars and Taghzoute was a well needed respite. We loved the balloon ride. Guides were mostly high quality and educated! We’ll be back!

Mohammed was a great driver, kept the vehicle, clean and neat, always felt safe with him, very interesting. His English was great, and helped us really get a good feel for Morocco.

From the time the four of us were picked up in Casablanca and dropped off at the airport in Marrakech 12 days later, our trip was absolutely amazing in all ways. I had found KimKim online and after reading the reviews decided to go with them. Hamza put together an itinerary taking into account our interests and limitations. He patiently answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Then he handed me off to our local contact Said who stayed in touch during our entire trip. In Fez there was a problem with the plumbing in the Riad we were to stay in and I had to call Said and ask him to take care of the problem. It was quite late in the day but Said managed to find us another hotel right away, which was quite difficult because of it being hiigh season for tourists. He too was patient and accommodating throughout the trip.
Sameer, our driver/guide was the best. He was polite, informative, helpful and extremely focused on our safety and comfort and on making sure we had the best possible time. On top of all of this, he is a very safe driver.
In Fez, our guide Sameer was again very well informed and took us on a throughly enjoyable jaunt through the old Medina. In Marrakesh Hanna spent a large part of the day of the day with us again on a walking tour of the old Medina. She is a young woman full of knowledge and a passion for all things Moroccan.
All in all we were highly satisfied with the entire process from planning to completion. Morocco is a country full of beauty, history and culture with amazing and friendly people. We are so happy to have been a part of that with the help of KimKim.

A very pretty place with very friendly staff, clean rooms. The camp dog, Maisy, is the sweetest dog ever and totally stole the show. The rooms/tents are very very basic. For example you could not lock the door from the outside. That took a bit of getting used too. The food was adequate. Maybe it was because the chef was out for three days so two of the workers were pitching in. The visit to the nomads and the fossil areas was fun, as was the African music performance and the pizza after.

Transfer from Fes to Merzouga via Erfoud & Camel Ride

The camel ride into the desert during our transfer from Fes to Merzouga via Erfoud was a highlight of the trip. The desert experience was wonderful, filled with beautiful scenery and the thrill of riding camels. However, the camp itself presented some safety concerns, as doors could not be securely locked and even when latched, they could be easily opened from the outside. Additionally, the food was not great, as the regular cook had to leave unexpectedly. Despite these issues, the staff at the camp were very welcoming and tried their best to accommodate us.

We had an amazing trip to Morocco thanks to Hamza and his crew. I would 10/10 recommend booking with them. They were so attentive and knew so much about what to do. Thank you for making our trip amazing!

Our Driver Mohd Jbaari was very good. He was accommodating and was well informed about our activities. He was willing to listen to our requests if we had any and managed all our travels very efficiently. Some of the guides were lazy and kept repeating the same information again and again. Our guide in Rabat was not very good. As it was Eid the day we were in Rabat he finished the tour very quickly and said he was not to blame for the short tour, He could have taken us to some other spots like public gardens instead of just shrugging his responsibility. Our guide in Marrakesh was very arrogant. And one thing we all noticed was none of the guides were happy to take us to the shops we wanted to go to but wanted to take us to shops they suggested.

Overall, we had a wonderful trip in Morocco. Morocco is an amazing country with amazing people. Our experience with KimKim was fairly seamless and the trip planning was simple and customizable to our wants and needs. Similarly, our local guide Hicham was knowledgable, kind, punctual, and cared deeply about his country. We traveled around nearly the entire country in 10 days and even with a fair amount of time spent in the car, it was an adventure we will never forget.

A few issues to be aware of that negatively affected our experience. Our hotel in Fes was outside of the medina and felt a little disconnected from the city. It's our understanding this was due to the first choice hotel being overbooked, but if we could go back, we would choose to stay in the medina.

Our last day and night also did not go as expected based on the itinerary. Our guide had a personal emergency that left us on our own in Essaouria for about 5-6 hours. This was not necessarily Hicham's fault, but a little more communication regarding the timeline and plan of action would have been appreciated. We ultimately made the best of it, but a lot of that was due to our own initiative.

Our hotel on the last night in Cassablanca was different from the hotel listed on our itinerary and seemed to be a drastic step down in quality and location. We ended up in an airport hotel when our itinerary was booked for a city center hotel. Convenient for our flight the next day, but totally disconnected to Casablanca, a city we only got a few hours in due to the issue that occurred during the day in Essaouira.

Something to keep in mind that would have been helpful to know beforehand- ATMs only give out large bills (100s and 200s). You are going to need small denominations for tipping and using the bathroom. Many businesses also asked for smaller bills, but we did not have them, and the businesses did not have small denominations for change. Some hotels had small bills on hand to exchange, but many did not.

While seeing the fish market was a good experience, we would not recommend eating there. The setting is picnic tables inside the market. There was construction going on and the overall cleanliness was extremely poor. We did not enjoy this meal, as we were concerned about the hygiene and cleanliness of the surroundings. Throughout our trip, this is the only time we had this concern.

We had the most perfect amazing trip! Reda was our driver and guide and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend almost two weeks with while in Morocco. He was so patient and informative and took care of us like we were royalty! He took advantage of every opportunity to teach us something about his beautiful country and the people who live there. We did everything we wanted and more thanks to his suggestions, saw the most beautiful sights, at the most amazing food, and had so many unforgettable experiences. All of the individual local guides were also great- in particular Sharif in Fez was a standout.
We really felt like we got a good feel for Morocco as a country and as a culture and never had to stress ,want, or worry for anything. The biggest highlight turned out to be our last night where Reda invited us to share a meal with his family. When we told him we wanted to sit down and have a meal with a local family ( listed as one of the options for the trip) he insisted that we dine with his. His wonderful wife and daughter invited us into their home and we enjoyed the most delicious meal of our whole trip while playing with his beautiful daughter and sharing stories about our lives and individual cultures.

Morocco and Morocco Immersions were fantastic. Such a well planned and executed trip. The riads were beautiful. There were diverse experiences and activities. Particularly, Omar, the grand master tour guide and driver was absolutely phenomenal. He was friendly and easy to work and be with. He knew secret locations and experiences that only heightened the time spent on the trip. I highly recommend working with this team if you are a single traveler or a small group.

Before writing about Hakim, who planned our trip and who was amazing at every juncture, I have to highlight our driver Mohammed. Wow! Personable, knowledgeable, intelligent and caring. I felt like we were touring with our son. Really became fond of him. Mohammed provided the local insight we lacked on negotiations, local politics, and just navigating Morocco. He was always pleasant, always on time and always optimistic. He personally added to our enjoyment of the Moroccan adventure. I hope we will become lifelong friends. As previously stated, Hakim who organized the tour was also a star. If we had a question or issue, he was super responsive and helpful. His Riad selections were top-notched both in terms of the accommodations and staff. His, was a near perfect execution. My hedge here is due only to the fact that one Riad was a little bit below our standards. The others were exceptional. I would also like to spot light Saraa, our guide in Rabat, and Henyn, our Marrakech guide. Both were knowledgeable, informative and engaging. Saraa had an amazing wit that was equally as entertaining as her color commentary. Henyn was just smart. Kudos to KimKim on the quality of the team they’ve put together. Highly recommended!

I’ve been traveling for 40 years and I am rather picky at this point. We found this trip incredibly easy to plan. Majid listened carefully to our preferences and did a great job adapting what he first proposed. The trip would not have been the same without our driver, Said. He met us when we stepped off the boat in Tangier and then dropped us in Casablanca 10 days later. He was the right amount of tour guide, balanced with letting there be quiet in the car. He went out of the way to tailor each day to exactly how we wanted to spend it. Every single local guide was exceptional and that is saying a lot. Highlight for us was a hike in the Dades valley followed by lunch at the guide’s home. I can’t recommend this team enough. Superior compared to many of the trips I’ve taken with the highest end tour companies at a much higher price.

Five (maximum) stars: Mohamed, our guide for the days in Marrakech; very informative, very knowledgeable; very pleasant and patient; speaks English very understandably.
Five stars: Yasser (our driver); with us for our five days in Morocco. Also informative as to local customs, “do’s and don’ts” , speaks English well enough, very pleasant and communicative.
Five stars: Camp Inara, Agafay; good food; great surroundings; pleasant people; nice pool.
Four stars: Hotel Medina in Essaouira. Right outside the medina. Just below luxury category, but nice, comfortable, clean and well-located hotel.
Three stars: Riad Pachavana in Marrakech; nice accommodations, but seemed a bit “tired”. Clean and sanitary. Friendly, efficient employees. There was another riad in the restaurant where we dined, Maison Arabe, which seemed much more elegant, but probably more expensive. We wouldn’t discourage a stay at Riad Pachavana, but it’s not a five star place (nor was it advertised as such).
We were favourably impressed with Morocco, it’s people, places and receptiveness to tourists - reserved, but helpful. I would return. ,

We had an amazing trip from start to finish. The itinerary was packed with a variety of of diverse landscapes. Planning from the States with Majid was effortless and he was most accommodating. Our driver Iziz was fantastic, he was informative, helpful, polite and respectful. I can’t say enough about how he made our experience so pleasant. We have never had a private driver before but after this it will not be our last.

Our 9-day family vacation in Morocco exceeded our expectations. Our main guide and driver, Tarik, was exceptionally accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Our experience was tailored to exactly what we needed- 3 days of moderate hiking in the Atlas mountains, with highlights in Marrakesh, Fes and Chefchaouen. Local guides in Imlil, Fes, Marrakesh and Volubilis brought so much to maximize our experience. Our accommodations were charming and comfortable, and the provided meals were great. There's nothing we would change, but to be able to spend more time in Morocco.

Our driver and now friend Ayoub made our entire experience easy peasy lemon squeezey. He intentionally included my 16 year-old in the entire journey. From Marrakech to Rabat, we laughed and joked and listened to great music. We are now big fans of the Gnawa music.

My son loved the Sahara from the camels to ATVs. I enjoyed the High Atlas Mountains from the hiking through the canyons near the Monkey Fingers to the bird watching.

The guides along the way were exceptional / especially our food guide in Marrakesh, Said in the High Atlas with his adorable daughter Sarah, and Sherif in Fes.

I appreciated Ayoub arranging a special shoe shopping mission with our Fes dinner host. Speaking of, after our dinner in Fes our gracious hosts (the father, wife, her sister, the grandmother and two teenage girls) pulled us into a neighbors’ engagement party where we were totally embraced in laughter and dance like I have never experienced before.

I hope all visitors experience the joy we did.

This was our first time utilizing a high-end customized travel planning service. It's not inexpensive but from the outset Louis, our first point of contact, was super responsive and helpful in planning our stay, offering a variety of experiences to choose from and fixing our room reservation at the hotel (the only hiccup upon our arrival). Our 24/7 dedicated driver, Younes was all that we could have hoped for. He was knowledgeable, friendly, responsive to our whims and perhaps most importantly, an excellent and safe driver. By the end of our trip we had grown to consider him a dear friend as well. We’d highly recommend the hammam experience, especially after a long flight or a hike in Atlas Mountains to a Berber village. Just a wow experience! Our guides Anouar (dinner, museum, markets) and Hamid (hike in the Atlas mountains) were equally friendly, knowledgeable, professional and eager to share their love of Moroccan history, food, and culture with us. On a final note, I should mention that being in Morocco during Ramadan was particularly inspiring and personally rewarding. We learned so much about Islamic faith and history. In today's world, truth and knowledge are powerful and more needed than ever.

We were extremely satisfied with the communication with Ali, from the Kim Kim team, for quick and thorough responses. Our preferences and schedules were taken into consideration when they planned our trip and we were also able to choose optional tours and experiences as we desired. We appreciated that because the tour operator knows the country and sights very well, so we trusted them to make decisions about the itinerary and it all worked out well. Our driver Tayeb was always punctual, polite and safe and we learned a lot about the culture and lifestyle from him. He and our other tour guides, Souhel for a walking food tour in Marrakesh and Hamman who showed us the Bahai Palace and the home of Yves St. Laurent all spoke very good English and explained everything very well. They answered any questions that we had about history, culture, or the sight, so that we felt that we understood so much more about Morocco than we would have if we had not had their assistance. They gave us advice about bargaining in the marketplace and about safety information. My husband and I loved the whole trip so much and we are already giving our friends and family your agency contact information for their future use. Thank you very much for caring for us!

I had the most fantastic trip to Morocco with my daughters. We were able to spend an afternoon in Tangier, thoroughly explore the blue city, Chefchaouen, and then fall in love with the meandering market streets in Fes. Even though we had limited time in Morocco, we feel like we much better understand the culture, ideals and people of this amazing land on account of our cooking class in a private home, the time we spent with a family breaking the fast of Ramadan, and, most significantly, through the personal stories and experiences of our amazing driver and guide, Ismail. Ismail openly shared his experiences about what it was like growing up in rural Morocco and he was extraordinarily patient with all of our questions. We were fascinated by how the architecture reflects the history and religions of this amazing country and Ismail, and our other guides, really helped us appreciate this.

Majid made planning this trip very simple and stress-free! We would never have been able to experience, see and learn all that we did in Morocco without Majid's planning and organizing.

A Family's Guided tour of Fez

This is a spectacular and necessary tour! Not only was our guide fantastic, the history fascinating and the markets beautiful, but our guide was necessary because we would have been very, very lost in the market without him. With 9400 streets and alleys in the market, we had no chance of figuring our the maze on our own. Our guide was full of historical knowledge and he was able to offer us many delicious foods in market (even during Ramadan!) The day we spent in the medina in the old city was a favorite and is certainly full of memories we will cherish.
