Alba booked us an incredible trip to Barcelona and Madrid. Her attention to every detail made the trip truly easy and enjoyable for us. Guides Anna in Barcelona and Carmen in Madrid were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful; we've had private tours in multiple cities and never had better experiences. We wanted a special trip to celebrate some recent life events, and we got everything we wanted and more! We will definitely be back to KimKim, and to Alba should we return to Spain.

Our trip to Spain was amazing and memorable! Raquel was excellent and covered all bases as she made our itinerary. Our driver Alberto at Seville airport was friendly and professional. Our hotel in Seville CASA 1800 was great and their staff was professional and helpful. The location of the hotel was the best part which allowed us to explore everything on foot. The nearby restaurants offered the best Tapas ! Next, our driver Jesus was exemplary! He was kind, knowledgeable, friendly , punctual, professional and above all a safe driver. Our stay in Cordoba at NH Amistad hotel was comfortable and the visit to the Mosque/ Cathedral was great. Our journey to Granada with Jesus was very enjoyable and informative. Our hotel in Granada Eurostars Catedral was good but we had to change rooms because the one given to us at first was on the ground floor and backed into a street with a bar which made it very loud. The other room was small and cramped on the first floor but quieter. Our visit to Alhambra was fascinating but began with a hiccup. We were advised to get to the location at 11.45 am but after 12 noon we had to call to ask why our guide was still not there. Unbeknownst to us the time of our tour had changed but we had not been informed. Sara our guide was good. Our trip to Tarifa with Jesus was great and the ferry ride to Tangiers went very well. It was good to have the tickets for all our excursions and ferry ride in hand instead of standing in lines. The weather was perfect for us although now we hope Spain gets some rain soon as the locals are praying for it. All in all a wonderful experience!

Good hotel but we were unable to adjust the temperature in the room. Great breakfast spread. We did not find the staff very helpful in giving directions as far as where to leave the luggage while we were completing the check in process and we had to carry it up and down several stairs which was not easy given our physical limitations.

We were lucky to have been assigned by KimKim to Raquel Aceituno (Madrid Based) as our
Travel Planner for a trip to Andalusia Spain. Raquel’s easy availability by text messages on the KimKim
platform and by Direct Telephone call when necessary was very much appreciated.
Raquel’s insight into our needs and style of travel were addressed and modified by her expert advice.
Once the trip was in its final version, we never required any readjustments, such was the precision.

The additional use of the Phone App “Trip Plans” to follow our trip and itineraries was made easier. This
App was able to deliver us our various Tickets and Documents in an easy fashion, obviating the need to
Carry additional paper or Online copies of necessary documents.

We were assigned Driver/Guide Jesus who was an extremely professional and pleasant person.
Whatever was needed for local trip and guidance was provided by Jesus with good humor and
Professionalism.
I would be pleased to deal with above team again, if needed in the future.

The room we were assigned on our arrival was at street level, had windows that could not keep the sounds of the street and loud banter and shouts of the people from the restaurant and street from being very loudly into the room. Look for a room away from the street

NH Collection Amistad Córdoba Hotel

When you arrive at this hotel -- the main desk is located at an "inaccessible", "up a flight of stairs" location. You obviously have to first go to the front desk to check in, however there is NO REASON TO BE LUGGING UP YOUR LUGGAGE UP TO THE FRONT DESK. No one tells you this. You do not need to lift heavy luggage to the front desk, because this area will NOT lead you to your room anyway. The reception staff could have easily told us this. We lugged up our luggage up a flight of stairs manually (no Elevator at this level) to the front desk -- only to learn, now you have to carry the luggage back down again to pathway leading you to your Lift/elevator that takes you to your room.

Of course Alhambra and the Gardens are amazing and not to be missed. Out trip was marred by: -- Tickets bought for a particular Date and Time slot in advance were suddenly changed ---We had to wait 2 hours to meet our assigned Tour Guide -- The place is easy to get to by Taxi -- but there was no clear cut guidance about where and how to get to the Taxi stand once the Tour ends. Asking around we only got vague and incorrect guidance. The tour ends "FAAAAR" away from where you can catch your return Taxi -- beware.

The whole experience was just awesome. It started with Alfonso carefully planning the trip, making lol the reservations and providing us with detailed, day-by-day itinerary. We had great local guides in every city that we visited - Gerardo in Madrid, Helena in Cordoba, Gloria in Malaga, Ana and Lenka in Granada. All of them made sure that this was an unforgettable vacation. And Alfonso kept in touch throughout the trip to make sure we didn’t forget all our connections and trains. I will definitely use kimkim again!

Our 2-week trip to Spain with kimkim was a fantastic experience. Amazingly the itinerary was provided (AI generated I believe) within an hour after submitting a free-form request.

Yuri was our primary contact at kimkim, and he was directly available 24x7 the entire trip. When does he sleep? He answered our questions in minutes and sometimes in seconds. We had 4 guides in Spain and each one said they knew Yuri personally, with glowing remarks about him and kimkim. Jessica provided administrative assistance throughout the trip and was very responsive as well.

Changes after booking, even mid-trip, were very easy. Some vendors have a time limit on cancellations, which is reasonable. We got refunds for cancellations we requested mid-trip with no issue.

We will definitely use kimkim again, and would give more than 5 stars if possible.

A little long at 4-1/2 hours of walking, but worth every minute. This guy entertains as well as teaches. He's fun, nice, and likes to talk. He takes you through the town and you see all the tapas bars, visit if they are open. I recommend if you want to have a good long fun walk and feel like you really know Madrid.

Very personal and interesting experience at three wineries. Learned a TON about wine making. The guide had a very good rapport with us and made the day fun. Beware of the amount of alcohol you can taste on this trip, so go easy. This was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.

Unless you know about the Sagrada Família, you have no idea what you are about to see. Far from just a cathedral, it is a bizarre beautiful simultaneous expression of modern art and architecture. Seriously, it looks like a bunch of gigantic cartoon spaceships, combined with an explosion of color. My guide was fun, courteous and knowledgeable. It was the perfect tour for the day after our jet lagged arrival from TN.

What an incredible 5-city 8-day trip, made possible by Marta's thoughtful recommendations and local knowledge. Despite having spent some time living in Sevilla, when it came to planning our Andalucian road trip I felt overwhelmed by options and struggled to discern quality and authenticity from slick marketing and cleverly framed photos. Marta did not steer us wrong once - the place we stayed in Sevilla is probably one of my favorite places we've ever stayed, anywhere. The location of our apartment in Granada could not have been more perfect - well-appointed with a direct view of the Alhambra and within walking distance to all the key sites. She even booked us a day hike through the majestic Sierra Nieves that seamlessly fit into our rather packed itinerary between Sevilla and Ronda, and set us up with the most delightful hyper-local (lived around the corner from where we stayed!) guide in Tangier that made that experience all the more special. The transportation she coordinated (trains, ferries, rental cars, and drivers) all worked out perfectly and saved us a not insignificant amount of stress in knowing it was all taken care of. And she did this all while patiently adapting our itinerary several times so that it fit our budget and evolving interests. This trip would not have been nearly as successful and low-stress without Marta's expertise - thank you!

Private Guided Visit of Tangier

These five stars are a direct result of our tour guide, Lina. She was given a tricky assignment - to show us Tangier in three hours or less. She wisely kept us in the old quarter - not only did this mean we were able to see some historical sites and visit some local artisans without spending precious time covering long distances, but this is also where she grew up, and therefore where she was most familiar (and recognized!). Lina was warm, engaging, and knowledgeable about her home neighborhood and the history of Tangier. We had lovely conversations as we meandered the winding streets and somehow left as the proud new owners of two Moroccan rugs.

There was some confusion as to the timing of our tour and we were consequently left waiting at the ferry terminal for an hour while this was sorted out.

We've been traveling for years and can say that the communication on this trip from Alfonso was like nothing we've ever experienced. Usually, once the trip starts you feel like you're on your own and you have a random customer service number to contact if you need any help while you're out of your own country. Alfonso was just as available and helpful during the planning as he was while we were on our trip. His constant text messages that reminded us of our schedule for the upcoming day, provided us detailed directions on where to meet our drivers, who were always right there and on time, and his ability to make us feel at home while traveling was unprecedented. We had wonderful local guides who were able to share wonderful information and show us amazing sites while not overwhelming us with dates and historical information that can often be way too much data. They were all just the right amount of info as we had requested. I feel like we were able to see everything we wanted to and at the same time did not feel like we were too overbooked and had enough time to explore on our own. Thank you Alfonso, and our guides Gloria (Malaga), Manu (Seville)Juan (Madrid) and George (Barcelona), we feel like you're all our friends now! Thank you for showing us Spain and sharing your time with us.

I'm so glad we went to Toledo. We thought it might be a long day and while it was, it was super cool to see.The history, the art, the old medieval town were all amazing. We visited great museums, cathedrals, we ate and we even shopped and enjoyed the short train ride to and from Toledo. Might have been one of our favorite days.

Had a wonderful night tromping around Barcelona and seeing some of the highlights of the Gothic Quarter. Stopped for Tapas and had so much food! :) The title of the tour made us think it was kind of a Tapas tour instead of being a Tour that Also had Tapas. So that's the only reason for 4 stars because we had different expectations. But was a great night!

We visited a couple of Tapas places and walked around Seville and saw what felt like all of Seville in one walk which is awesome. We had thought this was more of a food tour by the title of it but it was more like a tour that ended with Tapas, which was still great, but was different than what we had expected.

Gloria was super fun and so informative without being boring. She took us through the Alcazaba with a passion for the info that kept us all interested. She then walked us through Malaga, leaving us to eat one of our favorite meals.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars was that the tour said it was 2 hours and it was closer to 4. Also, it would be awesome if there would have been details on where the tour was going to take us so we wouldn't have already visited the site. We almost visited the Alcazar the night before but were so lucky we hadn't since this was part of the tour.

Alphonso’s regular checks and comms kept us all very happy. Hie transfer drivers and local guides were fantastic. In particular Gloria in Malaga, Juan in Madrid and Toledo and the others were terrific too.

We had the trip of a lifetime traveling Spain and Portugal. We essentially told Irene our vibes as a couple, our interests, and told her to recommend what she thought we would enjoy. She made us a the perfect itinerary for Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Sevilla, and Lisbon. Majority of our time was spent in Spain (as requested) and Irene did an amazing job at creating a trip to make me fall in love with the country (castles!!!) and I will recommend every person I know to visit Spain and use her as their guide! She remained accessible through the trip via her partner so they were only ever a whatsapp message away and I was always confident if anything were to go wrong they would be able to help. I can’t recommend enough!

We had a lovely time in Barcelona, I think given the requests, our trip plan was well curated and we had very good experiences. In terms of the accommodations, we had a slight issue each time we stayed at the Gran Havana with the rooms not being equitable for a family of five, but they were kind enough to move the furniture out of the way and bring a rollaway bed in each time for the fifth person to sleep on. Not having heated pools at either accommodation was also a bit of a disappointment when traveling with little kids. The driver and tour guides were all very great. I think we were a bit disappointed with the cancelation of the kayak trip because the weather turned out to be very nice on the morning that we were scheduled to go on that excursion. The mosaics class was really nice and we enjoyed the other tours as well.

The team including Jessica and Yuri helped book and answer questions I had through the trip Going with KimKim was very helpful so I didn’t have the stress of planning and booking but still getting the chance to do all the things we wanted. Definitely recommend them to anyone planning a trip.

All of the guides were knowledgeable and professional. The ones that were the best were Gabriella in Granada, Diego in San Sebastián, Theresa in Sevilla and Gemma and Anna in Barcelona

We had wonderful guides in Cordoba and Grenada. Unfortunately our guide for the White Villages and Rhonda was a tremendous disappointment and the only negative of the trip. Beatriz was excellent in providing us with train tickets , museum tickets etc and quickly responded to any concerns before and during our trip.

The accommodations and the planning of the whole trip is well curated.
