Authenticity
Boutique Villa de la Reina, while part of the H10 chain of hotels (originating in Barcelona), retains its historic character. It occupies an early 20th-century building that was once a bank. The hotel blends classic and contemporary styles with French and Middle Eastern design influences following a 2015 renovation. You'll find granite columns and plush red carpet overlaying marble floors, Moorish lanterns, blue ceramic urns, and an ornately decorated ceiling throughout the lobby. Then there's the original marble staircase and a traditional wire-cage elevator that add to the building's historic charm, as well as the in-house restaurant, Las Infantas Restaurant, serving up Spanish fare, including crowd-favorite churros con chocolate.
Location
Located on 100-year-old Gran Vía, the capital's busiest street, H10 Villa de la Reina is centrally positioned for exploring. You'll be within a 10-minute walk of Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Cibeles, and Plaza Mayor. The hotel is also close to the lively Chueca and Las Letras neighborhoods, providing plenty of shopping, dining, and nightlife options. No rental? No problem. You're steps away from the Gran Vía metro station and bus stop for easy access to other parts of the city. The hotel's central position offers convenient access to the Golden Triangle of Art, which includes the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Reina Sofía museums, all reachable within 20 minutes on foot. There isn't any parking available.
Rooms & Bathrooms

The bar provides a relaxed setting for enjoying drinks and light dishes, often accompanied by live music, while Las Infantas Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast (for a surcharge) with a spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, eggs, and pancakes.
Family-Friendliness
H10 Villa de la Reina welcomes families, providing cribs for children under two at no extra charge. Although no specific children's activities exist, the hotel's Deluxe, Grand Deluxe, and Junior Suite rooms accommodate up to three people (not including the use of a crib), and rooms with terraces offer more space for families to relax. Larger families may need to book multiple rooms, as interconnecting options aren't available.
