Iceland 9 day road trip

A couple visited Iceland in June 2018

“We want to spend a few days in In Reykjavik and the rest traveling the Ring Road. We want to explore the hot springs, glaciers, volcanoes, and all Iceland has to offer. We don't need luxury accommodations, but we do like to be comfortable. We are aiming for June 2018. We would like to partake in the Summer Solstice Music Festival as well.

Summary of the trip planning conversation

Below are some useful excerpts from the trip planning conversation
I am really excited to hear that you want to go to the Secret Solstice Festival, a lot of my foreign friends have gone over the years and they just loved it. Keep in mind that accommodation to fit your needs/budget will be harder to find the closer we get to June, so it´s good you´re planning ahead!

Christina R:
I was doing some research and found a side trip associated with the Secret Solstice festival. It's the Secret Solstice Into the Glacier and the Lava Tunnel excursions. I was reading that these can be done separately than the actual festival? Is this true? I don't know if those items are available yet but we would like to book them as soon as they are. Thank you for your help! Once we get hose items booked it will give us a better picture of what the rest of our timeline will be.

You can indeed book those tours separately from the festival and I can book them for you as part of a package if you want. How many days total do you want to spend in Iceland? Do you want to do a ringroad selfdrive like you mentioned before?

Christina R:
Yes, we would like to do the Ring Road tour as well, most likely the 7 day tour. Two other tours we would want to do are the Blue Lagoon (of course) and dry suit diving in Silfra. There may be other tours we would want to add later that are along the road but I can't think of any right now (we are open to suggestions though!)

Hi again, great, I´ll quote an automatic transmission car in that size category and fit in the Blue Lagoon and Silfra dry suit driving. I´ll also throw in some ideas for other activities along the way.

Traveler Review

My travel specialist, Caroline, did an excellent job planning our summer vacation in Iceland! Not only did she book all of our accommodations, rental car, and some excursions, she also provided detailed information on sight-seeing and restaurant recommendations. She was even available while we were on the road in Iceland to provide tips on last-minute excursions. During the planning process, Caroline was very flexible with changes to our travel plans and provided excellent advice. I highly recommend Caroline to anyone looking to book a road trip in Iceland!
