Day 1: Arrival in Cartagena

Private transport will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your colonial house or hotel and meet-and-greet with your concierge. Depending on your arrival time, we can fit a tour into your schedule and provide some great recommendations for your evening meal. After dinner, take a short stroll through Cartagena's small, atmospheric city squares.

Learn the history and Willy Wonka tricks of artisanal chocolate making with an interactive workshop that’s fun for kids, big or small.

Rise and shine me hearties, it’s treasure hunt time! Scout the town for sweet treats and goodies with this fun way to explore Cartagena's rich cultural heritage. Explore and discover Cartagena's rich historic pedigree with a family visit to the city's most important museums, cultural centers, and historic landmarks.

After stuffing themselves with chocolate, take your exhausted little ones for a fresh fish meal on the 17th-century walls of Cartagena overlooking the sparkling bay.

Day 3: Deluxe Island Day Trip

There’s nothing like a beach treat for some much-needed family bonding. You will be picked up from your apartment or hotel to take you to the pier where you will board a luxury speedboat and be whisked off to the Rosario Islands – an idyllic archipelago of 30 islands and islets 45 minutes south of Cartagena. Here you will be able to snorkel and swim in the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean before stopping off at a family-friendly boutique beach resort for lunch, games and pool time.

Day 4:  Beautiful Birds & Crazy Salsa

We’ll whisk you off in a 4x4 for an epic jungle excursion to the stunning Aviario national park, a bird watching paradise, home 135 different bird species.

Later, the whole family will have the chance to burn off all that youthful energy with a Latin dance class. Our concierge team can employ a qualified nanny later on for the adults in the group who want to practice their new moves at one of Cartagena’s great nightspots.

Day 5: Depart Cartagena
