Day 1: Arrival in Bogota

Day 2: Fly to Santa Marta

After arriving in Santa Marta you will be taken to Tayrona National Park. You’ll have two days to explore Colombia's most remarkable natural park, home to the Kogui Indians for centuries, is rich in lush wildlife, rugged, untouched beaches and stunning scenery.

The trek involves a two-hour walk taking in beautiful beaches, secluded coves, and verdant, tropical rainforest. It's a gentle trek suited for all ages. Reward your tired feet with a chilled picnic lunch on a picturesque beach afterward.

Day 4: Explore the Sierra Nevada Region

Day 5: Explore Cartagena

Today, you’ll hop in your private 4x4 convoy to Cartagena. After settling down in your colonial digs, we’ll give you a proper introduction to the old city, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site steeped in history. Learn about Cartagena's historic battles against pirates from England and France with a certified guide.

If this is a family trip, we can adapt the tour to keep your little ones happy, with an exciting treasure hunt to explore Cartagena's rich cultural heritage. This tour includes family visits to the city’s most important museums, cultural centers, and historic landmarks.

Finish the evening sampling the best ceviche Cartagena has to offer with a foodie insider or treat you and your crew to very special dinner on the 17th-century fortifications.

Day 6: Salsa Dancing and Chocolate Making

Music and dance are part of Colombia’s DNA. But if you’re new to salsa, we’ll find the twinkle-toed professional to get your two left feet into step. With the luxury of having your own teacher to show you the ropes, you’ll be cutting the rug like a local in no time Afterward, take a two-hour journey focused on the history of the cocoa bean before cooking a delicious chocolate selection of your very own.

Day 7: Rosario Island-Hopping

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the pier where you will board your private speedboat. You will be whisked off to the Rosario Islands – an idyllic archipelago of 30 islands and islets 45 minutes south of Cartagena – where you will be able to snorkel and swim in the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean.

The boat is yours for the day and you are free to explore pristine beaches and crystal clear waters guided to the perfect spot for your group by your private concierge. There will be towels, snorkel kits, fizz, snacks, chips, dips, fruits, beers, soft drinks and juices on board.

Lunch will be served at Blue Apple Beach House, a great place to relax and swim in the pool or ocean for the afternoon. Lunch includes a gourmet three-course meal with wine. There are beach loungers, a pool and masseurs to help you relax or beach games and a DJ to get you into the Caribbean mood.

Day 8: Depart Cartagena
