First of all, Megan was a fantastic resource and support for planning our Morrocan trip. She was available, had helpful suggestions and listened carefully to our concerns.

Our driver, Hamid, was outstanding in every way. He was prompt, attentive, careful driver, engaging, respectful, knowledgeable, and overall a perfect guide for us! We can’t say enough good things about his presence and functioning with us throughout our Moroccan trip. He added so much value to our trip with all the stories, information, and overall approachability.

All of our local guides were excellent, offering us helpful information and giving us accessibility to what we were seeing and experiencing. We mention Mohammed in Fez, because he was such an interesting person, and offered so much depth to our experience there. His engaging, interactive qualities, and his humor were perfect for us!

The hotels and riads were excellent accommodations, and we enjoyed each and everyone! The food was exceptional. The desert camp experience was outstanding in every way. The warmth and caring hospitality was deeply appreciated!

Enjoyed hiking in the Ourika Valley with Mohammed, who was enthusiastic and informative. Hiking along the stream to the waterfalls was very relaxing. Enjoyed mint tea at a teahouse with views of the waterfalls. Relaxing along the stream at one of the many cafés while dangling our feet in the Ourika creek was delightful. Highly recommend this hike.

It was comforting to be safely transported from city to city with him going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed daily. He provided the utmost service. Highly recommend him! Overall planning was efficient as we tailored a trip to the exact cities and places we wanted to see during our time in Morocco.

This whirlwind trip of Morocco exceeded our expectations. Abdel and Saïd were responsive and communicated throughout the entire process, making adjustments that we requested and those which they suggested would make a better experience. I wish we had more time. While we saw a lot of the country, I would spend more time in a closer proximity to explore deeper if we where to do it again. The Riad Elegancia in Marrakech was the most exceptional place we stayed. The experience with Tiziri camp in Merzouga left me spellbound - one of the top experiences of my life. The best part of the trip was Tyeb, our driver, who I give 10 Stars. He made the trip comfortable, entertaining and exceptional. He quickly became a friend and shared about his life, culture and showed us so many things along the path which we would not have known. The trip would not have been the same without him!

This Riad was spectacular. The staff was incredible and the location excellent - close enough to all attractions but quiet. I slept so well! The roof and pool was magnificent as was the hammam. A surprising feature was the shower which was amazing - like a rainfall with the most beautiful orange blossom soaps.

This was a wonderful representation of local architecture and the staff was absolutely lovely. The staff made the experience. The building was being reconstructed after some earthquake damage, but is sturdy and very historic. However, it was a bit rundown inside in regards to things which could easily make a difference like shower heads which had no pressure and leaked, or a blow dryer which collapsed. The pool is inside and the roof was inaccessible at this time. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and served with grace from the wonderful staff.

Tiziri exceeded my expectations. I prepared myself for a beautiful place - both the desert and the camp accommodations - but it is what you cannot see online that makes it exceptional. The hosts care about their guests and each other. They want to share their culture, not perform an idealized version for tourists. Their commitment to a sustainable camp is remarkable and responds to the impacts of climate change experienced by the Amizigh people. My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer, but it allows the opportunity to return.

Hanan was wonderful and shared some of her favorite food experiences in Marrakech. She was very kind and easy to talk to. I’m grateful we had time with just three of us so we could be comfortable and have good conversations. In typical Moroccan style, we ended the tour completely full of delicious food. I had to go back the next day to try snails because I couldn’t fit them!!!

It gave us a small look into Moroccan family life that lives outside of the Riads and behind other walls in the Medina. The food was delicious and the highlight was when Saïd dressed us up in typical Moroccan clothes, and nephew Mohammed led us in dance. That kid is a star! Thank you!

I honestly can't say enough good things about our trip to Morocco. From day 1 of planning, Abdel gave us options and suggestions on places to visit and helped to set our itinerary for our 8 day stay in Morocco. Upon arrival to the airport, we were greeted by our amazing driver, Samir. It was such a blessing to get to know him over the course of our trip. He shared so much knowledge about his country with us as we traveled daily, showed us hidden gems that we would have never found on our own, gave us cultural experiences that we would not have had without him, and engaged in wonderful conversations throughout our trip. He made sure that we were safe and comfortable at all times. He felt like family, and it was difficult to say goodbye at the end of our trip.
Said also worked with us during our travels to ensure that our accommodations were safe and comfortable. He was able to accommodate some last minute changes for us that we made to our itinerary while we were there. Such an accommodating group of people!
It's hard to pick a favorite place between Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Skoura, and Marrakech. Each place had its own special charm. I loved the variety of things we got to experience, from hiking to a waterfall, walking in the medinas, watching the sunset over the "blue city", visiting a pottery shop, riding camels into the Sahara for the night, visiting a nomad family, visiting a local market, doing a food tour, visiting a hammam, and so much more...we can't pick a favorite.
Thank you to the kimkim family for making this an amazing and memorable vacation. I honestly wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend working with this group if you're planning a trip to Morocco!

We were promptly met by our driver/guide in Rabat. As promised, she is a fluent English speaker. We were thrilled to find out that Soukaina is the only female driver/guide in the Kingdom of Morocco. As we explored the countryside and three different cities over 8 days, she made us feel warm, welcomed, and a friend! She made our 8 days together one of the best experiences of our lifetime!

The first city we visited was Chefchaouen (the Blue City). As we approached the city with it is picturesque beauty and amazing vistas, we were thrilled. During our two days in the city, we experienced the friendliest and most welcoming people you can imagine. This started with the staff of our hotel (Dar Jasmine) and continued throughout the Median in all the shops and restaurants. Dar Jasmine offered a beautiful room that overlooked the city and all its amazing blue hues. One of the best shops we found was Machkour Mohamed (Local Berbere Artisanal located at 23 Derb Bab El Moukaf). The team of folks helped us to find 5 amazing rugs we will cherish for a lifetime. The shop promptly shipped to our home. Another captivating and memorable experience was our guided hike in the Ankour Waterfall. Abdullah was a wonderful guide who was quick to share and point out numerous points of interest.

Our next stop was Fes. Along the way we also toured the Roman ruins. We were able to do this without a guide and found it very easy to navigate. Once in Fes, we were greeted by the Riad Yacout staff. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming. Our room was extremely beautiful, large, and well appointed. Our stay in Fes was highlighted by a day long guided tour with Aideen. His professionalism and knowledge of the Medina was second to none.

After a day long drive to Marrakech, we were greeted by the impeccably professional staff of the elegant Riad Nyla. We fully enjoyed the night life of the Medina and all the sights and wonders that it provides. Our guided tour was professional and very enjoyable. Shopping in the Souks was an amazing experience. We capped off our trip with a hot air balloon ride in the dessert. This unforgettable ride was completely worth the pre-dawn wake up.

Everyplace we stayed in was a five star accommodation. The plan was a great one...Stays in Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakech and the Inara Desert Camp. It was a great way to explore the country. We in particular loved our driver Tayeb who was very fun to be around, a great driver and a fountain of information. (He would make a great driver and guide). We also enjoyed all of our local guides including: Abdul in Volubilis; Mohamed in Fes and "Star" in Marrakech. We loved the food. We loved the people. It was a great experience.

This Riad was amazing. Just 5 rooms in the whole place so you get a lot of individual attention and service. Our rooms (we changed rooms after an overnight trip to the desert) were both very nice. The people could not have been more accommodating. They have a nice warm pool and jacuzzi downstairs in the spa that I really liked as most places on our trip had cold pools. We had two very good massages. The food (we had dinner twice) including the breakfasts were the best of the trip. I would come back to this Riad in a heartbeat.

Never been to a desert camp. Was not sure what to expect, but this luxury tent was really nice. Big bed, air conditioning, shower, safe, tiny fridge, even a hairdryer...not quite the roughing it experience. There is a very nice outdoor pool. The staff were very nice and again, funny...something I was not expecting. Our one night stay was perfect for us.

Our Driver Tayeb drove us up into the Atlas Mountains for a very nice one hour hike around the town of Achayen. We walked to a waterfall and then to a Berber village where we were served a delicious Tangine lunch by a local woman. Afterwards we drove to the Agafay Desert for our night in the desert and a camel ride. The whole experience was outstanding.

Said was absolutely wonderful to plan with and Abdou, our guide was a wealth of information about Morocco!

We (party of 4 adults/2 couples from USA) had an amazing time while on vacation in Morocco. Everything went smoothly from the initial contact with KimKim.com, throughout the pre-planning process and follow-up with Said, and along the trip itself with our knowledgeable and friendly tour guides Faisal and Hannan. The tour we picked (Taste of Morocco/8-days) was customizable to our specific needs and wants, and everyone was accommodable to changes throughout the trip. The hotels (Riads), all 5-star, were fantastic and it was hard to pick a favorite. They were very clean, comfortable and 1st Class, with Moroccan flair. We felt the cost was very reasonable. The food in Morocco was fantastic and we did not have a bad meal anywhere inside or outside of our hotels. The add-on activities and sites were well organized and we were delivered on time to all activities. The tour van was large enough for all of our large luggage, comfortable, fairly new and was non-smoking with A/C. Faisal was our daily guide for the week and we could not have asked for a better guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, funny and neat. We enjoyed being with Faisal everyday and we trusted his Moroccan insight and felt very safe everywhere we went. Faisal directed us to the best things of interest at every stop and advised us as to what to do and what not to do if we were unsure. He was key in making the trip unforgettable. Hannan who spent an entire day with us in Marrakesh, guided us through the Medina souks and took us on an evening food tour. She too was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We appreciated her market insight and the extra time she spent to show us to specific places of interest and shops. For anyone wanting to see all Morocco has to offer, we highly recommend using KimKim.com and the Taste of Morocco tour. Ayoub was our driver for our 9 day trip and we had a great time! With 2 small children and long drives in-between locations, he gave us a lot of breaks and did his best to make sure we were comfortable. Ayoub also dealt with minor issues and hiccups with flexibility and efficiency.

We also appreciated that he interacted well with our kids and made sure to keep them involved. They had a wonderful time!

Our only recommendation would be for Kim Kim to provide more realistic details of what to expect. For instance, the dinner with the family ended up being us having dinner by ourselves while they served us. Kim Kim suggested we could join them in the kitchen, but by the time we got there, that wasn't an option. Also, while the son was sweet, it felt like he was our waiter who sat with us occasionally. Another example, the driving times were incorrect. The first day our itinerary said 4.5 hours, but it was almost double that. Our driver said it was 4.5 hours from Rabat, but it took hours just to get there first. Our driver drove well, but with traffic and such that's just how long it took. Many of the driving days, Kim Kim did not give the correct driving estimate.

In terms of room bookings, it seems it is common for the kids to have separate rooms, which is fine, but booking them in adjacent rooms would be ideal or even on the same floor. In a couple of the riads we were on opposite sides of the complex and on different floors. If your kids are afraid to be alone, this will not work for you. We ended up doing one parent with one child, but that is not our preference.

We had a wonderful time touring Morocco with Youness! He made the trip a lot of fun for us. It was nice to have a reliable local driving us; it made it so that we could focus on exploring and site seeing, without having to worry about the logistics. He also introduced us to some great new music and was up for some good laughs along the way. He took us too some hidden gems, including an excellent place to by dates. It really was fantastic to have someone local who could direct us to the best restaurants, coffee spots, clean bathrooms, etc. I was really impressed how he well he knew all the areas we toured and was always ready to take us to the next cool spot to explore. He showed us how lovely and kind the people of Morocco are, both with our first hand experience with him, and by our interactions with others along the journey. He also made sure we ate the best of what Morocco offers! Olives, dates, warm breads, goat cheese,
so many tagiens and of course couscous Friday. Thank you Youness!

My favorite place on the trip was Fes. The city was beautiful and the blue everywhere was really spectacular, especially from the view at our hotel, Dar Jasmine. I would love to return to both the city and the hotel. We had an excellent day tour with Zarah, who knew the city well and clearly loved where she is from. Having her take us through the Medina was a real treat; she navigated it perfectly and explained the different sections as we explored. She also took us to an excellent place for street food / kabobs where many locals were eating. The Medina in Fes had something for everyone; we were looking for high quality rugs and other gifts and Zarah was able to help us find what we were looking for. We also really enjoyed seeing the pottery made outside of the Medina.... and definitely bought a few beautiful pieces that we will have forever.

The Medina in Marrakech was also a lot of fun; it was much larger, busier and had more energy than Fes, which was part of the experience and the fun. We had another excellent day tour through this Medina with Ahmed, who filled us in on both the history and current happenings, along with helping us navigate the maze and find the types of markets we were looking for.

Just returned from our fabulous tour of Morocco! We were met at Casablanca Airport by our trip Driver/Guide, Samir who not only most knowledgeable about Morocco but an expert driver who managed the sometimes tricky roads of Morocco with ease. I should mention this is our third visit to Morocco with the first one being only 55 years ago. Obviously things have changed and for the better since then.
After a short stay in Casablanca we headed to Chefchaouen a picturesque town on the side of the Atlas mountains. A bit too vertical for people our age but we would not have missed it for anything.
Loved Fez and our gorgeous hotel. Spent two nights there and could have spent many more.
Now on to the desert with a two hour camel ride to the Luxury Camp with the friendliest people you every met. We have made good friends with people like Mustapha and the others. If you have been on a camel before a two hour ride is great but as a beginner you may want to only make it a half hour ride.
After a one night stop in Boumaine Dades high in the most gorgeous mountains you have ever seen, it was on to Marrakesh for three nights. Again one beautiful hotel ideally situated with great meals. My wife is most talkative and found that all the people she talked to were very friendly with some even giving her a kiss goodbye.
Our last stop in Morocco was Essaouira at the Atlantic coast of Morocco. A beautiful seaside town with cool breezes and most friendly people at the hotel we stayed.
We are every tired but would do it again at the drop of a hat.

The trip was wonderful, the thoughtfulness of the trip planning exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful new driver that was kind and thoughtful and available for our every need. Learning about Morocco and seeing so many beautiful and historic sights was a dream. We definitely crammed a bit much into our trip so we would advise not too do quite as much as we did because there were some long travel days. Overall a once in a lifetime experience.

Honestly this wasn't the best. We already had spent 5 hours on another tour in the medina and this guide took us to the same spots. Also, no meal was provided as it stated. And our guide also did not take us to the right location at the end, leading our driver to worry and wait for over 4 hours.

It was a great experience for our recent 17-day Moroccan tour organized through KimKim. The tour was tailored for our 8 person team, and it turned out great. Thanks to Hakim who provided us everything we needed from the initial suggestions to the final itinerary through many correspondences. Hakim was continuously in touch during our trip to ensure service excellence. Our driver Abdou was with us the whole trip. He was professional and kind, a gentleman we all adored and trusted. When we need to cross the road, Abdou always made sure that we could cross the rod safely. The hotels/Riads were awesome, and everything was arranged seamlessly.

We spent 10 days in Morocco travelling around with a private tour manager and driver. The planning portion of the trip was lead by Sharon who was always very quick to respond and very patient with all of our questions and changes. Sharon made great recommendations and helped curate a great itinerary for us. The places we saw were so beautiful. The places we stayed were great and as expected or better. The local guides that were arranged were very personable and informative. Yassine our tour guide and driver was always very accommodating and patient. Yassine was knowledgeable about the country, local/social customs, the spots to experience the best views, the best coffee “nos nos”, guidance on where to buy things we were interested in and always made an effort to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We are very pleased with KimKim and the places and people we experienced because of using their services. We would highly recommend KimKim to plan a great trip with details covered to maximize enjoyment and minimize uncertainty/stress. Missing Morocco and the wonderful places and people. ❤️

It was smooth and enjoyable. Local guides of Original travel Saïd, Noureddine and Ayoub were amazing and very helpful. Especially Saïd was there whenever we needed any help, he was gone extraordinarily to help us.
Noureddin and Ayoub conveyed us Moroccan history very well.
Sightseeing and local food and fresh Pomegranate juice was tasty.The night in dessert was excellent.

Our trip was amazing. We had the best time and the Kim Kim team made it stress free. Our driver Samir was the best. He was knowledgeable about everything and a great driver. Every place we visited was beautiful and Samir made us so comfortable. Said was also very accommodating and let us extend our stay in Marrakech. Highly recommend booking with Kim Kim.

We enjoyed our trip to Morocco prepared carefully to meet our specific travel needs and time constraints. AbdelLatif was patient with us and worked through several versions of an itinerary to tailor it just right. We visited Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech in an 7-day trip and all said and done it turned out exactly as we had planned. We look forward to exploring other destinations with Kimkim in the future.

Saed is a very good organiser but the local guides were not so brilliant
It would have been better to stay longer in places rather then travelling everyday
Some personal time would have been good
