“Family of 5. Kids will be 7yrs, 5yrs and 11months old at the time of this trip. We enjoy a huge range of things from nature and adventure to history and culture.
Hoping to - See and experience as much of Iceland as possible considering time, weather and financial constraints! Especially with 3 young kids joining in the fun! Experience some of the 'real' Iceland, not just the touristy stuff.
Highlights we hope to enjoy - Northern lights. Volcanoes. Glaciers. Ice caves. Whales. Geysers. Waterfalls. Historical and cultural sites/experiences... and the list could go on forever!!
Travel style - Not exactly sure... but thinking possibly more independent... like a self drive trip with self contained type accommodation may work the best. We are open to other suggestions or recommendations too!
Queries - Young kids at this time of year... for some of the major activities, what will the age limits be? If the kids are too young for some of the activities... will we be able to take turns as parents to do the activities? Any suggestions and/or recommendations greatly appreciated!
Thanks heaps :)”
