Casa Conde is a beautiful all-inclusive hotel bordering Playa Panamá, one of Papagayo's many beaches. Straight away, the hotel's spacious open-air lobby welcomes you to Costa Rica, with high wood ceilings, tile flooring, and a lot of greenery. The buildings and rooms aren't oceanfront, but you have direct access to the shore through a private gate, giving you both a jungle and beach experience. Additionally, guests can enjoy two large outdoor pools, one being saltwater, plus two wet bars and a sports bar. The hotel also features two eateries, in-room massages, and a small playground for young kids.

You'll find 50 rooms across four categories at Casa Conde. The standard rooms offer the basics, with bright spaces, two double beds or a king bed, tile flooring, and a choice of a semi-ocean view or a garden view. Upgrade to a suite to get the genuine Costa Rican experience and add amenities like kitchens, seating areas, private decks, and/or bathrooms with a Jacuzzi tub.

Hotel El Velero is beachfront, set between the sands of Playa Hermosa and the main road. You can stroll down the shore or along the main street to reach a few different cafés, bars, and restaurants. You'll have direct access to the beach from the property, plus plenty of ocean views. When not enjoying the shore, relax at the hotel's outdoor pool, which is open 24/7, or have a meal or drink at the restaurant. 

The hotel is relatively small, with just two floors housing 22 rooms. Units are simple, with two queens or one king, and the basics, though all have microwaves and minifridges. Only two rooms have a shared balcony, so if you'd like outdoor space, you might want to book early. You can access a small communal lounge on the second floor if you need to spread out.
