Great location, but not the best hotel. Breakfast was not very good. The flight of stairs at the entrance made it difficult to transport our bags.

Very nice location. The staff said we were in a "bad neighborhood" but we did not experience anything bad. Staff was extremely helpful and the room was extremely nice. Getting into the hotel was challenging at first but, once inside, we just used the back door when we came and went.

Nice hotel, but seemed more like a hostel. We did have a terrace which was nice. There was a lot of stairs and the available elevator was extremely small.

Great experience. For someone who has never ridden a Vespa, the instructors were very helpful and kind. Went to a very nice winery afterwards for food and wine.

Wonderful way to see the Amalfi Coast. Our train into Amalfi was late which caused us to be about an hour late for this ride. However, the driver was extremely nice and waited. He took us to some amazing places. Very romantic!

Nice tour, but a lot of driving. Wish we had the chance to get out more. When we DID get out, the driver gave us plenty of time to explore.

Vesuvius hike was very cool. Very windy at the time and the hike was very steep, but it was nice and the views were incredible. Pompeii was incredible. We do wish we had a guide for Pompeii to tell us more about it (we just walked around ourselves) Driver was incredibly kind!

Guide was very nice and provided great information about the city and its history. Food was good.

Absolutely perfect for families. Our teen son had a loft with his own bathroom, table, fridge and AC. Our room had a large bed, bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was excellent. Location is not great. Would rather have been near the water, but overall lovely experience.

Very average. Located right near the train station, the room was very small, bathroom was inadequate for three people's belongings, and AC leaked excessively. Breakfast was okay. Best part was the staff.

If you are a couple or solo traveler, this might better suit your needs

If you don't have a car, plan to be here 24/7.

You will have to eat all meals at the hotel. Budget accordingly. They have an exceptional laundry service.

Not great for mobility-challenged unless water transport is booked

It is a long climb uphill to this hotel but it was worth it! It’s a beautiful view from their location. If necessary, Manny was available for rides up the hill, and Ruth in Reception was friendly and quick to help.

We were so pleased with The Belvedere’s location. It could be described as idyllic: peaceful and picturesque. We often sat outside just enjoying the view of the countryside. In our rental car, we explored several small towns in the area. We had dinners served at the Belvedere and they were excellent.

Older hotel, but that was the draw for us. It was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was great, easy walking to anything needed.

The hotel location was excellent. Staff, especially concierge, was very helpful. The restaurant, on the main floor, was probably the only downside. The food itself was very tasty, but the breadth of offerings were limited.

Location was ok, though right across from the embassy row - which while we were there had alarms going on during one night. Obviously not the fault of the hotel. The location is such that, with a little walking, you can get to most any of the most popular sights. The restaurant offered excellent food with a good amount of choice. Staff throughout the hotel was helpful and friendly.

Two things on this trip really stand out: our driver, and the stop at the working dairy farm. The cities of Montepulciano and Pienza were scenic, and laid back. Even though there were a good amount of people in both. Our driver pointed out many sites along the way and answered questions as we went. He was friendly and fun to hang out with. The visit to the dairy farm allowed us to meet another great individual in the owner. He was down to earth and real. The food (cheese and meat sampling) was amazing! I would go back to this location in a heartbeat.

The small group aspect of this was helpful. There was a lot of people going through these sites that day, and the guide was able to work through it all. We were in a small group of 6, and caught all the areas and art.

Very much a "tourist must do" type of thing. What really makes this is if you get a helpful gondolier. Ours was, and it made the ride even better.

Our guide was amazing! The food was amazing! It was a lot of fun, overall.

Our guide was one of the most knowledgeable individuals I have ever met. We gained so much information on St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge Palace. It was a long afternoon, but very much worth it.

A great guide made this a great experience. The knowledge shared was excellent. We saw some of the most famous art/sculpture in the world. The "skip the line" tickets are the way to go.

This was one of my favorite things to do while in Florence. The instructors were fun, helpful, great, overall. The class was easy going and had a fun atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

This small group was of 4, which really helped. The sites speak for themselves, but the guide added to the information with her knowledge. The only drawback was we had to meet up with larger groups in order to process tickets. This seemed like an oversight in logistics planning, that did cause some issues, but overall things were handled well.

Courteous staff with lovely accommodations. We really enjoyed the breakfast and our room was nice and quiet.

Unique room with an amazing breakfast. This hotel was centrally located and was easy to get around to most attractions. Unfortunately for us, there was an event the days we stayed with lots of partying and street noise. The doors in this hotel are very decorative and nice but heavy and it was hard to keep from slamming them. Also unfortunate for us were the neighbors who slammed their door all night long. We also had an incident in the hotel rooftop bar where another patron tried to steal my husband's wallet. We kind of let our guard down in our hotel's bar with what we assumed were other hotel guest, but I guess you can never be too careful.

Hotel is a bit far from city center but they do offer a shuttle. The reason being is that it is right on the coast with fantastic views of the ocean and several restaurants and bars to eat and drink in the views. The staff was super friendly but for some reason they wanted to make a big deal about check in and being so tired we just wanted to get to our rooms. Also, the AC won't work unless the key is inserted and the hallways and lobby were pretty hot. They did make sure to give us an additional key so we could keep the air on while we were away. Be warned if you're staying here that this is a destination for weddings and we had a wedding party right outside our window with a band that played well into the night. If you have to have a quiet hotel, this may not be the place for you.

I love boutique hotels and this was one of the nicest ones we have stayed in. The room was very nice and quiet and breakfast was great. We did have a concierge named Stephania (sp?) who was completely annoyed to have to answer our questions. I would have loved to have eaten at the rooftop restaurant but it was booked well into advance apparently. I am however, so grateful to one of the hotel clerks who was on service the early morning of June 16th. I don't remember his name but if it weren't for his attentiveness to where our driver was taking us, we may very well have missed our plane. He also made sure to pack our breakfast since we were leaving before it was served.

This was probably one of my favorite things we did on this trip. Enrico took us around to some of the local places we would never have found on our own. We tried a lot of snacks and drinks and got to see where some of the locals eat. Enrico was the perfect host.

Massimo was our driver and guide and we had him all to ourselves. I really enjoyed the wine tour. We samples many wines and had a very nice meal. Afterwards we drove around to a few other small cities and learned about their history and what to see and do there. Massimo also made sure to stop and show us the most picturesque views.

The staff was friendly and informative. They made sure to show us all the sights and gave us lots of information. They even played "That's Amore" when we went under the arches in Capri--which was hilarious and fun. The only complaint I have about this tour is they drop you in Capri for 5 hours. I would have preferred more time on the boat and swimming in the Mediterranean.

Beautiful, charming hotel in a scenic atmosphere that can not be beat! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast outside on the lawn (and a cappuccino made just for me!) every morning. Only a short walk to the charming center of historic Castellina. Staff was so helpful and friendly and room was lovely and comfortable!

The views were fantastic, the rain shower was lovely. We spent time on the patio each evening just watching the sunset and listening to the bells toll at the nearby church. The pillows were not very substantial, but that was the only qualm at our favorite hotel of our trip.

You must be OK walking stairs to stay here- no elevator.

This hotel is valuable for its distance to the major sites. It was an easy walk for us to visit the Spanish steps, and from there to walk leisurely through downtown. The rooms are spartan but comfortable-and lively Rome is just outside the window!

The restaurant just down the street vertically- Freschetta- is small, family-run, and delicious. Perfect for a first night authentic Italian meal.

This hotel was gorgeous! And the location literally could not have been any better, right at the heart of the main square, stunning!

The hotel doesn’t have a view or a balcony (at least our room didn’t), but there are views everywhere and the location sure made up for it!

This hotel was gorgeous, and the staff were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I felt like I was visiting my Nonna’s house. Such a beautiful experience.

There are a lot of stairs, and some of them don’t have an elevator alternative, someone with physical limitations might have trouble

We had a fantastic stay here. The hosts are husband and wife who grew up in the area so they gave great recommendations. The room was clean and decorated beautifully. The hosts could not have been nicer and more welcoming. Definitely stay here!

Great location on the main stretch of Amalfi.

This was our favorite hotel! The rooms were nicely decorated, fresh and modern. The owners were so nice and gave us great tips for Cinque Terre.

This is a very fine hotel. It was one of the few (if only) that had a lift, which was nice. The rooms seem to be old but adequate. It has everything you need.

Nice hotel with an art theme. The location was great, right near two restaurants we wanted to go to and not too far from the train station.

The hotel seemed fresh and recently remodeled. Great staff and had everything you need.

Amazing hotel, great service from staff. An ideal location to recharge oneself. Simple, clean and modern, room. Pristine pool and lovely beach nearby. Access to a vehicle a must if one wishes to explore all the delights this wonderful island no doubt holds.

Expect families and couples and a quiet experience. Check with the hotel no large groups are staying during your tenure.

Iff the beaten track in the Tuscany region. Authentic, old, comfortable cottage or traditional style hideaway.

The location of our room was above the breakfast garden which could be noisey for later risers.

Fantastic vista over the Tuscan vineyard from the external fine dining area. Wonderful food. Very helpful staff. Spa on site. A retreat of sorts.

Call ahead if you expect to be checking in late in order that a meal might be arranged. Alternatively eat prior to arrival. Meal times here are relatively restricted, but the food is ih so worth it.

Ideal location from which to explore Florence. Not too far from central transport links for those coming out of the region and or the airport etc.

Take in all the sights of Rome in an amazing journey in an exciting yet safe, unconventional manner. You and your partner might feel like a star as you are whisked around the City at the hands of a humorous, knowledgeable, local.

Food and location are great. Hotel is a little noisy due to restaurant downstairs.

All was great and Mike our guide was fantastic. The experience was great.

Tuscany wine tour was great to see and do. Our driver was awesome. The two winery’s we visited seemed to be more businesslike which made us feel like more of a process to get people through.

Awesome. Valentina, our guide was the best. So happy to have her and our driver spend the day with us. I feel bad as I didn’t know if we were supposed to tip our food guide or not at end. I didn’t and now feel guilty. Only recommendation for improvement is to avoid prosciutto factory and samples before lunch. Them immediately go to lunch and first food served is more prosciutto. Just a lot of cured meats in a row.

Amazing food and great place.

Probably the most unexpected surprise of trip. Fantastic and provided true feel for the people and island. Our guide was just the best and was so fun and loved all the people. I would do again if I had the opportunity.

Lovely hotel in a central location. The room was great, quite spacious and very comfortable. The stairs from level 4 to 5 were a challenge with our luggage, but we managed. Otherwise all good. The staff were lovely.

It’s in a pedestrianised area, so getting a taxi to take you to the front door is challenging.

Very pretty location and charming facade of the buildings. The room was a bit small and situated above the breakfast kitchen. The staff were really nice and helpful and the town was nice.

Super gorgeous hotel! A hidden gem in the heart of the city. Luxurious and funky. The staff were wonderful! Friendly, kind and super helpful.

Be aware that it’s in a pedestrianised area. However, I think taxis are allowed to drop off and pick up, even if they are reluctant. Check with the lovely staff for local restaurant recommendations, they are happy to book for you.

Superb hotel only metres from an amazing beach!! The staff are so attentive and take care of your every need. Its so tranquil, comfortable and relaxing.

Unless you’re happy to stay put and relax at the beach or by the pool, you would benefit from having a car to go exploring.

Florinda, our guide was so passionate, knowledgeable and intelligent. We really enjoyed all the stories and having an up close experience around Florence.

Alessia was very passionate and informative. We really enjoyed her stories and the fact it was a private tour.

We were slightly late as we weren’t sure where to meet after we were dropped off by our driver. The staff were accommodating and we were able to do the tasting first, followed by a tour of the cellar, so it all worked out.

Luca is an absolute legend!! His knowledge and dry sense of humour is such a treat. You feel completely safe with him and we had such fun!!! Highly recommend!!

Great B&B next to all the best sites and restaurants in Napoli! The breakfast was also amazing and the staff was super helpful.

Can't beat the view and location!

Great location, but that's about the best it offers. Room wasn't particularly clean, things like the hair dryer didn't work and the room was a weird layout that made getting your things awkward.

Absolutely fantastic tour, seeing everything we "needed" to see in a single day. Our tour guides (Maria-Teresa and Jan) were great and very informed.

The location of this hotel was great, as we walked everywhere in Florence. It was clean, well decorated and our room was spacious. The employees were kind and friendly. Two reasons I gave four stars: we struggled with the temperature in our room (it was very hot outside and we had trouble cooling off) and the internet was not reliable at all.

This hotel is very small, which was nice. Our room was small as well, but had good storage and we loved that we could cool down the room as it was very hot in Rome. The room was clean and modern. I would advise giving very clear instructions on how to find the hotel (look for the panel and ring up to the room, follow signs to the elevator) - we arrived when the street was very crowded and it was so hard to find what to do. Staff was helpful when we had questions.

We ended up being the only ones on the tour - Felipe was great, so personable and a great host. I appreciated that there was not a hard sell to buy wines.
