Breakfast was the best of all hotels and all were terrific. Room was comfortable and in the center of the city. Beautiful views from the rooftop breakfast level.

This hotel was nice as well, but a bit trickier to identify since it is part of a larger building with additional businesses in it. However the hotel itself was great, with big rooms and a nice locally sourced breakfast each day.

This hotel is located up the hill from the main portion of town, which was perfect for us as it helped us avoid the crowds near the main part of town. We also had a nice balcony to look out over town and relax after a day exploring the area.

This was our favorite hotel - the staff here were amazing and the hotel offered great services including free bike rentals, free beach towels, and an ice machine for our cooler.

This hotel is centrally located and has helpful, friendly staff.

This hotel has accommodations in a variety of historic buildings. Our room was unique and decorated with thought and care. Their front desk team were exceptional, helping us locate parking, making suggestions for restaurants and places to see. We two frequently lost tourists found their help invaluable. A delightful breakfast in a unique setting capped off a wonderful stay

What an amazing hotel! My sister and i felt comfortable and welcomed the moment we came here. The staff is amazing. Very curteous, professional, and fun. My sister and I were sad to leave, but when we return, we would definitely consider staying here again!

Although it was a small gtoup setting, Tamara did a great job in making the experience personalized. She was also such a delightful guide, and we learned so much about the italian culture in the best way possible-- food and drinks!

Our tour guide Mario made this whole experience for us. So knowledgeable and passionate about his work. When my parents visit, i would love for him to be their guide as well. The russo family tour was also so much fun! Loved that we didnt feel rushed and was given ample amount of timeto enjoy the view, wine, and food

The hotel was a boutique style and only had a few rooms. The view from our window was exactly what I envisioned Tuscany to look like. Rows and rows of rolling hills filled with grapes. It was beautiful and the hotel was quaint and clean.

Our guide was FANTASTIC! Since it was a private tour, we were able to express our wants right from the start. She was super nice and her 'cliff note' information about Sicily was exactly what we asked for. We were able to move at our own pace and stop in stores for some shopping whenever we wanted. Sicily is absolutely beautiful.

We had the best time! Our driver was young and very funny. Our group likes to laugh and have a good time and that is exactly what happened. Once our driver realized that we had already been to most of the places on his itinerary , he improvised and we loved it! B/c it was a private tour, we were able to adjust the tour for our needs and wants!

This was a great way to experience food like the locals do. It was a small group experience, which was fun. The food and drinks were delicious and our guide was fun and easy to talk too!

We purposely booked this as a private tour so that we could get into the Vatican early before the heat and the large crowds. We informed our guide that we wanted brief descriptions of the important spots so that we could experience the Vatican before overly crowded. Our guide either didn't know how to shorten her tour information, or just didn't listen. She became upset with parts of our group when they began walking away after 10/15 minutes of standing in the same spot. We again, tried to let her know that we didn't need so much information, but it feel on deaf ears. By the time we made it to the Sistine Chapel it was packed and we were rushed to move through b/c of the crowds.

The tour was a bit too long, but our guide was very knowledgeable. One thing we wish we would have done was to include the tour of the underground arena.

Once we arrived, it was like sitting in a picture! The views were absolutely STUNNING and the tour of the vineyard was perfect. The staff were top notch and the wine was flavorful and delicious. The winery also makes olive oil and honey on property. Our lunch wine pairing was DELICIOUS... literally some of the best ravioli I've ever eaten. The view from our quaint little table was so perfect, I didn't want to leave. The wine was so good that we have a case being shipped to our home in Texas in October.

So fun and delicious! We all had a hands on experience and the food was delicious. Great family experience!

Not sure what to say about this tour. I'm not sure if it was the tour or the tour guide that was disappointing. Our guide was nice and friendly, but after telling her our wants about keeping the historical information basic and not to go into too much detail (esp. since it was a private tour), we felt like she wasn't listening to us. We also felt that the places we walked to and that she went into the greatest detail on were. not what we saw as important highlights to Florence. However, the items like Michelangelo and the statue gardens, were just touched on and was literally a walk through. We were disappointed in the tour as a whole.

We enjoyed this walking tour very much. It was a small group experience and we were excited to try all the local foods.

Let me say this, it was extremely hot and there really isn't any air conditioning, so we were really hot. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but at times, a bit boring. I think what we realized (esp. with a 13/15 year olds) is that we many need the cliff notes version of the guided tour, rather than the long drawn out version.

This was SO FUN! Our family of 4, which includes a 13 &15 year olds) loved this. We all made our own masks and our teacher, Julia, was terrific!

Mateo was an amazing tour guide! He was full of knowledge and was easy to talk with . The views from our private water taxi were so pretty!

The tour guide was so knowledgeable and took on our family on our own private journey of Rome! It was remarkable!

This was the most memorable hotel of our trip, largely thanks to the incredible breakfast buffet overlooking the Amalfi Coast—it was absolutely stunning. The breakfast itself was extraordinary, featuring some of the best pastries we had during our stay in Italy. The room was simple but comfortable: two rooms, each with a queen-size bed, and one shared bathroom. Both rooms opened onto a beautiful terrace with breathtaking views of the coast. On our final night, we even had a front-row seat to a fireworks display from our terrace—an unforgettable experience. We especially want to thank the breakfast and dinner staff, who made us feel so welcome during our 4-day stay. Their warmth and hospitality truly stood out. A special shout-out to our favourite server, who not only provided excellent service but also shared great local tips—including recommending his favourite cake, Peccato di Gola, from Sal De Riso in Minori. It was absolutely worth the trip!

Initially, we weren’t sure about this location, but it turned out to be a great choice. It was within walking distance to both the Vatican and Trastevere, which made exploring very easy. The room was the largest of our trip, with a master bedroom and ensuite, two additional bedrooms and a bathroom for the kids, plus a small kitchen. We especially appreciated the large fridge and freezer for storing snacks and drinks. Breakfast on the 7th floor had a huge variety of options, and everyone in the family found something they liked. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and a good fit for our family of five.

While this hotel suited our needs, it had a few quirks. The staircase up three flights was very dark, and the shared room for our family of five, though spacious, had only one bathroom. Breakfast was limited and started later than we would have liked. That said, the location was excellent, and it served as a convenient base for exploring the area.

Thank you for sharing your love of Pompeii with our family today. We absolutely loved learning about the city, and even in the scorching heat 🥵, it was incredible to explore a small part of such a well-preserved and fascinating place.

We took a cooking class with Alessandro today—my husband and I plus our three kids (16, 13, and 11)—and it was an absolute hit! We were joined by one other guest and spent three wonderful hours learning and cooking together in a calm, air-conditioned space (a perfect escape from the heat wave!). Alessandro was welcoming, knowledgeable, and great with both adults and kids. We made cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and homemade gelato (coffee and Nutella was the crowd favourite). Highly recommend this experience—fun, delicious, and memorable. Fingers crossed our cacio e pepe and gelato turn out just as good at home!

Fabulous hotel, outstanding service. Wonderful central location.

Fabulous location. Rooms were a bit on the smaller side with no drawers to store clothes. Amenities were nice as well as the breakfast.

The mosaics here made this church and palace different than what we saw previously. Also, since Doge had a prison, it gave us something more to see

It was nice to have access to the waterway bus line as Venice is made up of hundreds of islands and transport is needed

One of the highlights of our trip and the only one that wasn’t a tour or a museum or church. Love Italian food and seeing the Grand Market and learning how to make our own pasta was a fun time for all.

Such a central location, everything was a "10 minute walk". The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast had a large selection but I had hoped for some cut fruit pieces. I loved the automatic espresso/cappuccino machines. Spacious room. The bathroom tub/shower had issues.

AWESOME location. Great view of the volcano from my room. The breakfast was extensive [there was an omelet station on my last morning] and the view alone was worth searching the hotel for the breakfast room. Staff was so kind and helpful, especially at 5am.

I DID NOT STAY HERE. I STAYED AT THE ART HOTEL COMMERCIANTI. This review is for the ART HOTEL COMMERCIANTI. Awesome location. Very helpful staff. Breakfast had variety and was worth stopping in the morning. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and spacious, easy to move around in.

3.5 Stars: Superb location. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel main floor was modern and clean, but the room I was given was run down. Apparently they are redoing the rooms [they look fabulous on line], but mine room was obviously still on the to-do list. It was dingy, the furniture didn't work well (doors either wouldn't stay shut or you had to fight to open them), and it was just dark. The bathroom was a struggle. The shower stall was so small that I literally had to open the door when I wanted to raise my arms up or turn around. Considering I am 5'4", that's just too small.

Perfect location and it was extremely nice. Loved the fact that it had an elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and worth making the effort to stop by each morning.

Hotel is charming and well placed in the city. No elevator, so that was a bummer. I could see that the outside seating location would be fabulous but it was too cold when I was there so it wasn't open. The room and bathroom were very spacious, but the layout was not optimal. All this extra space in the bathroom, but the shower was very small and hard to navigate. I'm only 5'4" and struggled. The included breakfast was not appealing and I skipped it.

There really isn't any "skip the line" as you still have to stand in line, but it's nice to have someone guide you to where you need to be. I did a few tours without guides and since I don't speak Italian it took a bit of wandering to find the correct entrance/line/etc. The David was spectacular. Just breathtaking. There is also the Abduction of a Sabine Woman which was beautiful. But really it's all about the David and rightfully so. The guide gave some good information. But I found the most value in the close up photos of the David. He is 17 feet tall and there is just no way to get a good look at the details, so this helped immensely.

What a fun tour! There were only 2 of us (both single travelers) and the guide, so I am grateful they still ran it. Being such a small "group" made it just that much more enjoyable. Marco, our guide was so very personable. We stopped at a castle, 2 wineries, and 2 towns. The castle had the most impressive views. Videos for days! The 2 wineries were small and family owned. The first one served us a delicious homemade lunch. Oh so good! The towns were interesting to walk around and take photos. Overall I enjoyed every minute and highly recommend this tour.

If you have time go to the upper island. We did not but I did before and wished we would have. The water was choppy and the boat ride over was quite rough!

My personal favorite! Loved this place and am planning to order from them to shop to the US. I was very impressed with the whole experience and the care they put into their farm and products.

Loved this and wish we had more time to spend in the other towns. We skipped Amalfi as it was SO crowded but our driver knew the best places to go! He even recommended a lunch spot and made reservations for us, Germano was our favorite guide/driver!

We spent almost the whole day exploring—traveling by train and boat—and it was truly unforgettable. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and our guide enriched the experience with fascinating stories and historical insights about the towns, villas, and landmarks along the way. Every stop felt meaningful, and the pace of the tour was just right. It was a perfect combination of breathtaking views, cultural discovery, and relaxing travel. We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide and driver, Fred, during our stay in Nice and the French Riviera. Fred was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire tour. He shared so much insight into the region’s history, culture, and hidden gems, which made our visit even more special. His communication skills were excellent—he was clear, engaging, and always made sure we were comfortable and informed. Fred was also an excellent driver, navigating the scenic roads with ease and making us feel safe and relaxed the entire time. Thank you, Fred, for making our time in the South of France so enjoyable and memorable!

A highlight of our stay in Turin was a fantastic food tour with Anna. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the region’s food, culture, and history. Thanks to her, we discovered fascinating facts about pasta, gelato, wine, and local traditions, along with visiting some of Turin’s most historic and charming spots. It was a truly enriching experience.
