Pros
  • You'll find yourself in Seville's vibrant Triana district, just a short walk across the river from the Old Town, the Cathedral, and the Alcázar.
  • The restored 19th-century Andalusian townhouse features just seven self-catering suites and apartments, each with separate living areas and well-equipped kitchenettes.
  • Some units have private terraces and views over the Río Guadalquivir and the Torre del Oro.
  • A delightful continental breakfast tray is delivered to your room each morning.
  • The rooftop laundry facilities are a real perk—including a washer and dryer with complimentary detergent and softener.
Cons
  • There's no 24-hour reception, but you'll be given a gate and door code for easy access.
  • The location on a main street means you may hear some street noise from front-facing rooms.
  • This is an aparthotel-style property, so you won't find the amenities and common areas of a larger hotel.

Authenticity

Seville's Old Town might have the landmarks, but riverside Triana has the atmosphere. Considered the birthplace of flamenco, it was once known for its ceramics workshops and Roma community; today it's a charming, authentic neighborhood with some of the best restaurants in the city. Casa de Triana's restored 19th-century Andalusian townhouse sits on one of its most famous streets, built around a plant-filled patio with marble floors and Mudéjar-style arches. The interiors are tastefully luxurious, with a mix of antique and modern art pieces, and each guest suite is individually decorated with plush velvets, chinoiserie wallpapers, mirrored lamps, and carved latticework screens.

Location

The Calle Betis address puts you just steps from Triana's riverfront promenade, with the neighborhood's buzzing restaurant scene on your doorstep (the popular Río Grande Seville is across the street). Cross the Río Guadalquivir via the San Telmo bridge (just a block away) and you're in the Old Town, with the Alcázar, Cathedral, and La Giralda within a 10-minute stroll. You can catch a bus, metro, or taxi steps away in Plaza de Cuba, but the property's location on a pedestrian street means you'll need to be picked up and dropped off around the corner. There's no on-site parking, but the staff can help you find paid lots nearby.

Rooms & Bathrooms

You'll find just seven unique air-conditioned units spread across three floors, from one-bedroom suites to two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartments. All are beautifully appointed and decorated, with memory foam mattresses, high-quality Egyptian cotton linens, luxe marble bathrooms with Penhaligons toiletries, and well-equipped kitchenettes (complete with induction cooktops, refrigerators, microwaves, SMEG kettles, and Nespresso machines). Some options include terraces with views over the river and the Torre del Oro; others open out onto peaceful private courtyards. All rooms and floors are accessible by elevator.

Amenities

The complimentary breakfast is a highlight, with a simple but high-quality selection of coffee or tea, fresh-squeezed juices, artisanal breads and pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit delivered to your room each morning. You shouldn't expect the amenities of a larger property at this townhouse-style aparthotel, but the service is uniformly excellent; staff can help store luggage, provide a transfer service from the airport or train station, arrange for bike and car rentals, and share local tips. There's no on-site spa, but you can book in-room treatments through the front desk with the nearby Saludnatura Spa.

Family-Friendliness

Children are welcome at Casa de Triana. The kitchenettes and free laundry facilities are welcome amenities for families on the go, and the spacious two-bedroom apartments provide plenty of space for larger groups. The smaller suites with separate seating areas and comfortable sofa beds are perfect for two adults and two children.
