Karolina and then Fenne were so wonderful and responsive in helping us plan our trip. And everything worked out just right - all of the prepaid tickets were accepted everywhere without question. Tickets to certain activities were good for the entire week, which was great in giving us flexibility. And somehow we were upgraded to a much nicer hotel right in the heart of Bergen, oh so wonderful that was!

We have spoken highly of your service to many others who've never heard of you. I'm sure we'll use you again!

We only had 16 days to spend in France and the package that Amandine put together was totally amazing. We got a great taste of France - not just Paris.

The bicycle tour of Dijon with Leah was enjoyable as was our tour of the "Gand Cru" road with Joachim.

Amandine also organised a fantastic dinner cruise for us back in a stopover in Paris.

Bayeaux was amazing, although Mont St. Michel was disappointing because of the crowds, our Guide Julie did an incredible job. A tour of Normandie countryside with Stephen was also great.

Amboise was great - We enjoyed our tour of the Loire Valley with Camille taking in two Chareau and two wineries.

Our e-bike tour was certainly very enjoyable - even in cool drizzly weather - Alexane was great.

Back in Paris - the market visit and French cooking class was good. Our tour of Giverny and Versailles was certainly spectacular to say the least.

We would not hesitate to use Amandine as a local specialist again.

This was the most expensive trip I ever took. The places visited and events chosen were amazing. Alberto was very helpful and picked fantastic hotels and perfect locations in each city. Our guides and drivers were excellent. I especially was thrilled with our stay in Ortigia, the hotel and its picturesque seaside view was ideal. I would have given the trip 5 stars but there were two glitches that affected the trip. One was that a wine tasting was scheduled on a day that the vineyard was closed. On our way to Etna, our driver tried to communicate that the vineyard was not open on Sundays. So we changed directions and headed to Catania. This caused us to lose value time for seeing and doing things in Sicily. On our last morning, we were expecting a 5 A.M. pickup to take us to the Catania airport for a 8:20 A.M. flight. Our driver was late so we called his number and determined we needed to ask the hotel concierge to call a taxi for us. A taxi came and got us to the airport in plenty of time. I had to pay the driver but was reimbursed by Kimkim.

Our guide Paola, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us valuable information concerning Pompeii. She was very personable and well informed. It was a pleasure having her guide us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Rome with Tommaso. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. He had a delightful personality. We were shown many fascinating sites including a lot of churches as we requested. Tommaso supplied us with information as we walked and answered questions we had for him. We even went to a popular Roman Caffe shop and enjoyed a delicious espresso with him. We give Tommaso an A+.

We have had two great trips to Iceland thanks to Kimkim and our local expert, Rinolda! For this trip, I contacted Kimkim through the website and got timely call back from an agent. She listened to my requests and reconnected me with Rinolda.

Working with Rinolda again made our second trip to Iceland unique. She suggested two itineraries. We chose to travel the complete Rung Road. Rinolda took the time to ask if there were specific places we wanted to visit and things we wanted to do. She then put together a trip for us that took us to different places as well as locations we wanted to see in the summer.

Once we were in Iceland, Rinolda reached out to us each day. She answered our questions quickly . One day she found us a new restaurant to try. All the hotels and activities were booked for us. There is a Tip Summary that has all the information needed in one place. Each day included a Driving Plan that ran on Google maps.

I was considering planning my family's trip to Iceland myself, but got immediately overwhelmed when I sat down to do the research. I am so glad that I happened to come across the KimKim website, and that I got linked with Veronika as our local specialist! Our trip just ended and we are all still reeling with how much we got to see and do, how smoothly everything went, and how wonderful it was to have Veronika available to us 24/7 by WhatsApp message if we did have questions or need to move things around. I come from a family of historically late people, so there were a few times where we were running late for ticketed items or needed to move dinner reservations later. I messaged Veronika in these instances, and she was on it for me, contacting the places and letting me know if things could be moved around. I didn't expect Veronika to be as available as she was to me... I don't think I waited longer than 10 minutes for most of the responses from her throughout the trip. She really went above and beyond, and was responsive before the trip/able to make adjustments to the plan/hotel changes as needed beforehand via the chat in KimKim. I asked her to make the trip a blend of activity and relaxation since members of my family enjoy both, and she staggered hikes and relaxing hot springs perfectly so that the trip met everyone's needs. Best of all, we actually got to meet Veronika in person when we stopped in her city and we had dinner together. She was even more intelligent, funny, and adorable in person and we were so glad to have the opportunity to meet her. I would send any friend planning to go to Iceland to her to plan their trip. We could not have asked for a better guide…..competent, thoughtful, knowledgeable with a focus on our safety at all times . Nik’s love for his Albania was palpable and infectious.

Vancouver and Granville Market was wonderful. Our trip from Vancouver to Whistler, Kelowna with very nice wineries, Banff with beautiful mountain sceneries, Columbia Icefield excursion, Jasper National Park with amazing Mountain Scenery was really fantastic. Our stop in Canmore before leaving from Calgary, was a little more disappointing. The selection of our route from KimKim was overall very satisfactory.

The trip went smoothly and the bookings and recommendations aligned with our vision of the trip and were extremely enjoyable. I found it not always clear what was included and what wasn’t, but once I did, I had no issues.

Christine did an amazing job and was very responsive to all our questions during the trip. Koyasan was a great suggestion that I would not have thought of and I loved it.

Our trip to Northern Spain arranged with Marta T of Espiritu Travel and Kim Kim was a truly wonderful experience and all of us in our group of 6 were very happy with the itinerary and the excellent attention and service we received from Marta before and during our trip. Marta was always so attentive and prompt in answering any questions and concerns we had and the suggestions she made for our itinerary introduced us to many of the highlights of our trip ie the Cares Mountain Route, the Picos de Europa Mountains, the hike from Orio to Zumaia and the National Parks. We were so fortunate she chose Diego as our driver and guide for the majority of our trip! We met him in San Sebastian and all of us immediately felt so comfortable and safe with him right from the start. Diego is amazing! He is professional, very knowledgeable, patient, responsible and just a great person to be around. He was so attentive to the needs of our group! We all felt so safe with him driving on those winding mountain roads and on our hikes in lesser known areas as he accompanied us and made sure we were all going to make it to the end. We can’t recommend him enough! Our guides for the city tours, Noelia in Oviedo and Joachim in Santiago de Compostella were both excellent. They had such a great knowledge of the history of their respective cities and the area and their enthusiasm was infectious!
The hotels selected were all excellently located for touring the cities where we stayed and the included breakfasts were very good. We were a group of 2 couples and two singles. There was a difference in the size and quality of the rooms for the couples in the Posado Rural El Corcal, Hotel Soho Boutique in Oviedo and in Eurostars Araguaney in Santiago de Compostella. It was not a huge issue but should be addressed for future groups. There was also an issue with our reservation in Santiago de Compostella due to a computer glitch but a quick text to Marta resulted in her immediately addressing the problem with the hotel. It resulted in the two singles having to share a room for the first night of our three night reservation but we were well compensated with a delicious complimentary meal at the Hotel for the inconvenience this caused us. The one hike, the Oak Path in Armanon Park is one we suggest be used with caution and that it be rated as medium/difficult due to the conditions of the trail, the elevation and the difficulty finding the trail head. The rest of our hikes were well selected and the scenery was breathtaking on many of them.
In summary we are very happy with our choice of Kim Kim and highly recommend Marta T, the Kim Kim team, and the people she chose to be with us on our trip.

Mathia was such a big help with planning and suggesting certain places as we drove between villages and boy was he on the money. What a beautiful country and with Mathia’s help we had the best time seeing Norway.

Every detail of as taken care of from our hotels and rorbuers, to a shuttle bus, to a private taxi, to a ferry. Suggesting restaurants with maps.

Didn’t love this one and actually checked out a day early. The room was extra small, the bed very hard with small, flat pillows, couldnt get the ac to work and burned up at night. My panoramic view was seen over a huge roof, so not quite as advertised. No parking anywhere. Small bar but unattended. On the bright side, clean, breakfast was super and the town is adorable. It will only take about an hour to explore the whole things. Wonderful restaurant across the street with a better view. Walk to Delphi in 10 minutes.

Triple Swim Day Trip near Corinth

A lovely day spent waaaay off the beaten path. It was a little awkward at first since we picked our guide up on the side of an exit in a parking lot to a cemetery. However, she was lovely. We drove over an hour to get to the hiking spot to go to the waterfall. I will say that we weren’t prepared at all. The “gentle river trekking” was actually walking and climbing up a rapid river, over boulders, loads of large rocks in freezing cold water. At the end was a beautiful water fall - which I got in to and thought I may have died it was so cold. That said, it was very invigorating and honestly felt healing. You need special hiking shoes for this - we only had sneakers. The rest was easy and oh so beautiful. The lunch boxes were so special and delicious as was the dinner at an adorable local taverna. Our guide was wonderful.

Such amazing activity and the guide was simply the best. We really enjoyed an easy day of paddling, some history, a lovely walk, some beach time and overall just a perfect day. Snorkeling the old Roman villa was a real highlight.

A real highlight of our trip! We didn’t know what to expect but we thought this was the bees knees (pun fully intended!). We spent a few hours privately with a bee keeps in the middle of an ancient olive orchard learning all about the bees. The honey was divine.

Delicious lunch with amazing olive oils and tapenades. Seriously good. Loved sitting down and learning from the owner about his history, the ancient groves and its importance. We did not go into the grove or see production, however. It was a lovely lunch and we bought all the products with breathtaking views.

This was a nice day trip. We had VIP package which was nice. The pro’s were that you get to see 3 islands, spend a day at sea, VIP lounge with your own waitress, and first on/off. That said, you only get a little time on the islands, the food was meh, and it’s a lot of people. If I had to do it again, I’d charter my own boat.

My husband did most of the planning with Petra but she helped me immediately when I contacted her after our stay in Bled when I left my silk pillowcase there. She arranged for it to meet up with me at the end of our trip! The tour guide Jasmina who led our food tour of Ljubliana was terrific - friendly and knowledgeable. I would say that the only things I think would have been useful were to know in advance how things work in Piran with the car and not to drive through the castle in Goriska Brda! We were clueless at first about getting to our hotel but one call to Hotel Piran and we understood what to do. In GB, the signage didn't really indicate that one shouldn't drive through the castle and that you park on top and walk from there. Luckily, we made it through without scraping any walls (of the car or castle!). Lastly, we didn't realize that Roundabout was the name of our tour services once in the country rather than kimkim but obviously, that became clear right away. Luka at Hotel Cubo was amazing. He was so friendly and warm and even loaned us the hotel's laminated map of Slovenia to return at the end of our trip. The whole experience was fabulous and we highly recommend your services!

We had a very intentional agenda to experience historic Greece, it people, food, culture and history in a relatively short 10 day window, with a group of 8 adults. After trying to make the arrangements ourselves, we realized we couldn't really understand the quality of restaurants, accommodations, historic sites, and local guides, as well as arrange transfer easily. Therefore we reached out kimkim, who paired up with Tasos, at Travel 12.

Tasos understood exactly what we were looking for. He located quality, knowledgable guides. The guides were patient with our numerous questions, and gave you time to explore and absorb the experience beyond the "set" times. We experienced every site and activity we had desired. The trip even included a roundtrip flight to Crete, to learn about Minoan culture, the start of western civilization.
The transportation vehicles Tasos arranged were modern, clean, spacious air-conditioned vehicles. We were fed delicious, healthy, local food, in abundance, prepared fresh. We sampled each of the native Greece wine varietals.
Tickets were obtained in advance so we spent minimal time waiting in line. If there were questions or clarification needed day or night, we could contact travel12 for information, or to confirm a pick-up time and place. We didn't have "down time" working out logistics.

I can't say enough about the value Tasos and Kim Kim added to the trip. It was a hassle free experience, of high quality venues. We are already contemplating a return trip to Greece or Magna Graecia, in Italy. We will definitely return to these services in the future.

Sailing & Gastronomy in the Athenian Riviera

What an amazing evening! We sailed out of Athens to enjoy a sunset cruise aboard the Aiolis, eat freshly prepared Greek Cuisine, and enjoy local wine varieties. One highlight was swimming off-shore in the evening, in 20 feet of crystal clear Aegean Sea water. The captian, Yani, shared nautical tales, and gave us insight into the Greek attitudes and beliefs. He and the first mate brought course after course of local Greek food, that they prepared in the ship galley. By the end of the evening we understood the Greek mindset of welcoming the stranger, sealed with much laughter and two rounds of Ouzo as we pulled into port.

Very personable and energetic crew to make the most of your experience

I didn't ever think I would use a travel agent. It's not very "millennial," but with a wife in medical school, two-year-old at home, and a full-time job, I decided to take my dad's advice and try out KimKim to plan our honeymoon vacation to Greece (after three years of delays due to the pandemic).

I couldn't have been more happy with my choice! Eleni and Mariliza were fantastic and picked out guides, tours, and experiences that were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. It was such a relief not to have to book hotels, worry about transportation, etc. The service was really out of this world and deeply refreshing to someone used to scrounging for deals on AirBnBs and fretting over public transit when traveling abroad.

In particular, my wife and I loved our experiences hiking in Meteora and Zagori. Our guide (Jim) in Meteora was very knowledge, but also hilarious and a great story-teller. We had a blast the whole time. I had never even heard of Vikos Gorge until Eleni suggested it, but ended up loving hiking out in the remote mountains of Eprius. Our guide (Athena) in Vikos was patient, engaging, and very attentive to our level of fatigue/comfort through the hike. The restaurant recommendations we got throughout the trip were also fantastic--with so many options to choose from (esp. in Athens) it was great to be able to pick from a smaller list. We never had a disappointing meal!

We also appreciated that Eleni/Mariliza were willing to let us "take the reigns" toward the end of the trip. My father is Greek and we wanted to spend time visiting family in Kavala. Eleni/Mariliza arranged a very smooth transition from the part of the trip they planned with the time that we spent seeing relatives. It was reassuring to know that they were there and available to help if we needed them, but not pushing us to buy/do things that we didn't want or need to.

Overall, we are really happy. Next time we take a big trip abroad, we will definitely use KimKim. This was so much better and more relaxing than doing everything ourselves. Now that I've tried a modern travel agency, I don't think I can ever go back. :)

we are very happy that we called KIMKIM and Lucia was the best person we talked to . we talked to her multiple times for last 2months for the tour and she was always available to talk and we got great advice and answered all our questions.
She guided us for the trips ,excursions and local smart shopping , hotels ....etc
I would recommend KimKim and Lucia to anybody looking for tour to Ecuador and near by Latin countries .

Transportation arranged by Lucia along with local Guides were great too. Alexandro the driver at Quito was the best.
Marco at Quito as guide and Indira at Santacruz ( Galapagos) were very good.
Danny on last day at Quito was OK , he was rushing us .

Over all we are very happy with Lucia and her teak.
