My daughter and I went on a trip to Costa Rica at the end of July. KimKim connected us with Randall, a local agent who works with Coast to Coast Adventures.
Randall was great from the time we first connected all the way to a couple of days after being back in the US when he checked up on us to see how everything went.
Randall was very good at communicationg and staying in touch throughout the whole proccess.
He made recommendations and made any changes I requested.
He is very propmpt to respond and he is very knowledgeable about what to do and where to go in CR.
He made our 8 day trip and unforgatable one and for bing our first time there, it could nt have been better!!!
Once we were in CR he put me in touch with Christopher, he was our point of contact while in CR. He, as Randall, is very respomsive and he made sure our trip went as planned. I requested a couple changes with time and transportation kind of last minute and he made things happen!
Our driver from Coast to Coast, Carlos Torres, who I would also like to mentioned in this review, was no different. He was very informative to let us know where to go on our down time when we arrived to La Fortuna, and gave me some tips on what to do on some of the places we were to visit.
He was also our driver on our way back to San Jose. He made our trip back and our visit to La Paz Waterfall and Gardens a very nice trip.
Overall, if you are visiting CR and you are doubtful about using KimKim, I wiuld say go for it and hopefully you get connected with Randall.

A huge thank you to Patricia and her team. We were a family of 4, trying to put together a trip to multiple locations in Spain, in the middle of the pandemic. Without Patricia this would not have been possible. She made it all super easy, set us up in amazing hotels, arranged personal bespoke experiences and brought her considerable knowledge of the area to bear. In addition she stayed in constant communication throughout the trip, checking in and fine tuning the agenda along the way. We could not be happier with the service we received and wish her and the team all the very best for the future. Would not hesitate to use her again.

The trip was planned really well. Karin actually took into considerations my preferences and requests and planned it out well in a very short period of time. Karin and Marina were available even during the trip in case I had questions and were very prompt in their responses. They really were experts in the city and provided recommendations on what to do during my trip in a short period of tome with a blend of power packed days and free days for leisure so that it felt like a holiday. The locals who were responsible for walking tours Pedro, Jose actually customized the tour based on my preferences which is different from the typical tours and also the Nelson and Marta customized the day tours very well. They were experienced, know what they are doing, checked with me what I prefer or would want to make of the day and made the tours fun. This is a rare ask as usually the tours are standardized and there is no flexibility. Karin planned every details with recommendations in each city and was a splendid experience. This was my first experience with Kimkim and I would definitely recommend it. Obrigada<3

Chris and kimkim were great. Many questions and issues came up during the trip (like needing to modify our travel plans) that they were instrumental in resolving. It was like having a personal concierge. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Simply put, my wife and I had a spectacular three-week trip to Ecuador. Mathias and his team provided a very well-organized adventure for us that was well-paced and filled with new sites, learning, and exploring. From Quito to the Galapagos, to Mindo, the Amazon rain forest, and the highlands of Cotapoxi our trip was superb. Every local guide was on time, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. The wonderful sections of beautiful boutique hotels and the excursions were safe and exciting. Every day was a new adventure.

We experienced so much of the culture and the hospitality of the Ecuadorian people that we were thrilled to get up each morning for our new adventure. We have already made many referrals to Kimkim.com and know that we will continue to do so in the future. Thanks for a trip of a lifetime!

I had a great time in Morocco! Sharon was so helpful and patient in the planning process. My driver, Sallam was the greatest and I was so thankful to have him with me for the entirety of the trip. He went above and beyond to make sure my time in Morocco was safe and enjoyable.

Thanks Robi and his colleague Bruno to make our trip in Croatia a such wonderful experience! Not only we visited all the places that we wished for, they took extra effort to take us to the places that we didn't know before but they were definitely worth to visit, such as Trogir, Sibenik, some small villages in Istria region. I like the arrangement to have guide tour at each place then have some free time to explore, we learned so much history and interesting stories about those places. I also truly appreciated that they handles all our luggages, make reservations at restaurants, call hotel to confirm our arrivals, everything was arranged so nicely that we did not need to worry about anything but enjoy our trip. I definitely think we made the best choice and I would highly recommend Robi and Bruno to my friends who want to visit Croatia in the future! Thanks again Robi and Kimkim for providing the platform.

Randall helped us plan a 9-day trip to Costa Rica. The itinerary he created met all our expectations and the trip went very smoothly. He came up with multiple itineraries before the trip to make sure it fit our specific needs. When we wanted to make last minute transportation changes, Randall was able to quickly accommodate us and find us a new transportation company. All activities took place as planned and all transportations were on time. We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica thanks to Randall and we highly recommend Randall for your travel planning!

I don’t usually use the word “amazing,” but my family and I recently returned from a two week trip in Costa Rica. From the beginning, Adriana and then Olman, were incredibly easy and accommodating to work with. This included having two young children go with us and later adding my parents to our already booked trip. As I said, the trip was two weeks and we went from Tortuguero to Arenal to Monte Verde to Playa Hermosa to San Jose. The trip that was put together for us allowed us to experience different regions and wildlife in the country. Everyone we worked with, from the drivers that shuttled use from location-to-location to the guides on our excursions were so friendly and genuinely happy that people were visiting their country again. I cannot ever put into words how happy I am with our trip. If this is how KimKim organizes all their tours, we’ll definitely be using them for future travel plans.

Harris was a great resource and made the process of planning the trip very smooth. He is very knowledgeable of Greece and was able to cater our experience to what our needs where for the trip. He did an awesome job!

Emanuela planned a memorable, spectacular trip to Iceland for me. Everything went off without a hitch, other than the helicopter ride over the volcano (which I booked on my own) due to poor visibility. A one-week trip of a lifetime! Best of the trip? The ice cave. Don’t miss it!

We asked Robi for a half guided half self guided trip of Croatia. He designed a program with us in mind that hit all the spots. I am good in many languages mostly Germanic but I have no basis of understanding of Croatian so for me a disadvantage. Robi got us immediately. We don't love crowds and love nature at its finest. At one time we thought we might do a boat tour of the islands with a small boat tour. Then we thought a gain. Who does those kind of trips? Older folks with not much to do but tour the islands and go off for excursions to buy baubles that will gather dust till the contents sale of their homes. We wanted something more active but not active every day some days restful at the beach or hanging around and doing our own thing. We did a few amazing bike tours that when Robi realized an Ebike might be great for our daughter and my wife he provided them and they went from unhappy bikers to power bikers with a flick of a switch. The bikes rides are great and an ebike makes a grueling ride easy for those who are not dyed in the wool bikers.

The places we stayed the tour design was done very well and by someone who knows the place extremely intimately well. Many of the places were apartments similar to Airb&b which is great for us as we are vegetarian and like do some of our own cooking. Food prices in restaurants are not cheap as elsewhere but the food in Croatia is extremely good. Their pizza rivals anything I have tasted in Italy. Tourism is so busy in Croatia especially in the big cities such Split and Dubrovnik that it is almost impossible to get a seating at a restaurant in the desirable locations.

Robi was always straight up and told us what we needed to know including that diving in Croatia was nothing special unless you wanted to go wreck diving.

Robi provides a level of service that is hard to find and will make your vacation that much easier. The addresses and locations of things are very difficult to find even for well seasoned travelers like us.

After we walked the walls of Ston. Robi dropped us off in Mila Ston to enjoy the beack which we did. Before he left he asked if we needed anything. I jokingly said "dos cervezas por favor" and he showed up with a couple of cold beers. It was lovely.

Robi is also a licensed boat captain and we chose to rent a rigid inflatable and tour the islands. Its the best way to see them. The ferries are slow clunky and leave at all inconvenient times. Having a boat is a definite plus. Even though I have a boating license I would definitely recommend getting a someone to pilot its tricky.

All in all. We loved Mario our initial guide for the Plitvice lakes and the next day. He is lovely and took us to a secret location known only to locals for a swim. This place was a gift that no tourist would find (for good reason).

Having a car in Croatia especially in the small cramped old cities would be a burden. There is almost no parking and what parking there is costs a fortune. I would recommend against if for a relaxing holiday.

All in all to sum up we had a great time, our tour was setup beautifully, we had the best of both worlds on our own and with a guide.

I would suggest if you don't go with Robi you are selling yourself short. He knows the intricacies of Croatia like nobody else and loves to share his knowledge and love of his country. He has a wacky sense of humour and was prepared to go the extra length to help us our in every situation.

Much of what we saw and did would not have happened if not for Robi.

My husband and I just got back from an amazing trip to the Amalfi Coast of Italy, including Positano, Sorrento, and Naples. The process of planning and booking the trip was easy, organized , and our specialist Andrijana was very responsive and attentive to our preferences for the trip. She was able to put together an itinerary that had everything we love about vacation. The detailed plan for the trip was great and the transportation from the airport and between the cities we visited was seamless. The accommodations selected by Andrijana and the Kim Kim team were incredible, (especially the bed and breakfasts in Positano and Naples). Tiziana was a fantastic host at our accommodation in Positano, and Gisella was great in Naples. We ate at amazing restaurants with fantastic views of the beautiful Amalfi coastline. We did have a discrepancy about one of the tours that was planned during the stay, where there was an apparent miscommunication between the provider and the travel agency. The team, however, was very responsive and helpful despite the fact that our day did not go as planned. We appreciate the work on their end to try and resolve the issue, and they did compensate for the mistake quickly.
During our stay, we communicated with the team about recommendations for restaurants etc, and it was great to have a access to local guides to get great suggestions.
We had two of the most amazing guides for our tours in Sorrento and Naples. Celestina did a wonderful job showing us around Sorrento and explained the landmarks, culture, and traditions on a walking tour of Sorrento. She was friendly, warm and very knowledgeable. Celestina did an excellent job! We ended that tour with beautiful garden dinner at a the restaurant. We had a fantastic time with our amazing guide, Giuseppe who took us to the picturesque town of Ravello, took us on a walking tour of Naples, and guided us during our favorite day of the trip that included Pompeii, wine tasting and Mt Vesuvius. Giuseppe was top notch! He was one of the best guides we have had on a vacation. We learned so much from him during our tours! I can’t say enough about the hospitality and incredible service he provided on the last few days of our trip. Thank you to everyone that made this trip so memorable for us! We would definitely use KimKim again and recommended their services to our friends and family!!

I am a control freak and usually plan every detail of my trips. I have very high standards and want to make the most of every minute of my vacation. But this time I was just too busy to do the research and wanted the help of a local expert. I struck gold when I found Chris! He took the time to really understand what kind of accommodations and experiences I was looking for, and after a lengthy discussion, he put together a package that looked perfect. We just got back from our 11-day trip to Greece, and it was the best vacation of my life! Every hotel he chose was special - from the Acropolis view suite in Athens, to the luxurious terrace overlooking the Caldera in Santorini, I could not have asked for more. The guides and excursions he suggested were also excellent. Impressively, when I wanted to make a change mid-trip and go to Mykonos a day early, the team had me on a new flight with everything arranged including hotel and transfers within a few hours. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to plan a luxury vacation in Greece. He really knows his stuff! And I will definitely be using KimKim to plan the vacation for the next country I want to explore.

The guides were exceptional. All of them went out of their way to help us resolve any issues we encounter. They were very accommodating based on our capabilities and needs. Without their knowledge and willingness to please this trip would not be possible.

I want to reiterate this on all of them, Juan Carlos, Moises, Pablo, Elsa were unbelievable on the way they conducted themselves. Their knowledge of the place, people, culture were crucial to make the experience what it was.

We only had 2 weeks from deciding to go to Costa Rica to the day of arrival. I found kimkim through the internet and was put in touch with Adriana. I had no prior experience with kimkim. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Adriana lives in San Jose and has experience in managing tourists personally. She was able to listen to my family’s needs and quickly out itineraries together. Within a couple of days we were able to finalize the plans and lock in on the itinerary.
She was also helpful during our trip in answering questions and making some minor adjustments to the plan. She was able to coordinate Covid testing needs getting back from CR to US.

Overall, great experience with the travel agent part and the 7 day trip. We plan to go back to CR during Christmas.

We worked with Kimkim and Emanuela to plan the perfect anniversary trip for my husband and I to drive from the east to west coast of Iceland.
Emanuela was perfect at every stage of planning, hearing what we were looking for, and delivering exactly what we wanted. There was not one part of our trip that wasn't perfectly orchestrated.
In our itinerary, not only included all the "must see" popular sights, but she also included many off the beaten path ideas and recommendations for us, and all the restaurants she mentioned were above and beyond delicious.

Our trip to Costa Rica, planned by Olman and kimkim, was the definition of perfection. From our initial pick up at San José until our final drop off at the end of the week, the days went smoothly with zero effort from us. Our driver and companion for the entire week, Roy, made sure we arrived on time to our scheduled activities and had an endless supply of options for additional outings. He took the time to organize extra expeditions at our request. He also inquired about our food preferences and helped us find wonderful, local restaurants for us in which to dine. Roy became like family to us and we would recommend his services to anyone desiring a driver/tour guide in Costa Rica. From his immaculate van to his tremendous knowledge of his culture, Roy made us feel comfortable and secure, even during the pandemic.
Olman included all of our requests for activities, from zip lining, a cooking class, kayaking in the Pacific Ocean to hiking the lava flow at Arenal, and created a wonderfully balanced week of enjoyment and learning . This trip with kimkim was the most perfect vacation!
