A special thank you to our driver, Soufiane, who was incredibly professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made us feel safe throughout the journey and enriched our experience with fascinating insights into Morocco’s history. He was always punctual, impeccably dressed, and kept everything organized.
The internal tours were equally impressive, and we particularly enjoyed our time with Mohammad, who added a lot of depth to our understanding of the culture and local traditions.
The Riads we stayed in met—and even exceeded—our expectations in comfort and charm.
This was our first time using KimKim, but it certainly won’t be our last. We will happily use them again and again for future adventures. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable!

Overall, Morocco was fantastic. So much history, beautiful sights, wonderful people and great food.
We loved Chefchaouen. The staff at the Hotel Dar Monir were quite welcoming and the rooms were cute and clean as well as the location being convenient. Our tour guide, Amine, for Akchour Falls as well as for a city tour was a gem. He was informative, kind, helpful and all that combined with a great sense of humor. We had an amazing memorable lunch with the falls as our backdrop per his suggestion. At the end of the city tour, he stayed with us and brought us to a great vantage point looking over Chefchaouen for the sunset.
We also very much enjoyed Volubilis. Our guide (possibly Hassan), was funny, full of history and knew all the great spots for pictures. It was incredibly hot that day and I wasn't feeling well; Hassan made sure that I was okay and helped me get back to the parking area. We made our way to Fez and stayed at the beautiful Riad Semlalia; the rooms were great, the interior was beautiful and rooftop pool was refreshing after a hot day. Abdul, who seemed to complete multiple jobs (doorman, desk attendant, server for the bar and dining area, etc, etc) was absolutely kind, helpful and overall amazing. Our tour guide for the city tour of Fez was also great, but I don't recall his name. We had dinner with a local family which was an amazing experience with excellent food and company. I think the first name of the family members were Runia, Hassan and Hatim, but I could be off on that.
We had a long drive to the Merzouga area the next day and were rewarded with seeing some of the macaque monkeys on the roadside. We loved our camel ride to the Sahara Sky Luxury Camp even with getting caught in a sandstorm on the way. Just part of the overall experience. The food was great at the camp and Mohammed was such a kind and helpful member of the staff; we absolutely appreciated everything that he helped us with. We had Hassan for a full day tour of the area and he was also a great person. Our highlight of the day was the Gnawa music and very high on the list of the entire trip was the ATV ride through the dunes.
On to Skoura the next day. The Todra Gorge stop was beautiful. We atyed at the Ksar El Kabbaba which was a gem with beautiful rooms and grounds as well as great food. We were greeted by Badr who was also our very very informative guide for our tour the next day. The kasbah we visited was so interesting, mainly due to Badr's complete knowledge of the history and we also loved our visit to see "the happy potter!" We had lunch with Berber family which was another memorable experience complete with a tea ceremony.
We made our way to Marrakesh with an amazing stop at Ait Benhaddou. Certainly a must see for everyone coming to Morocco. We stayed at the Riad Le Pelerin which was in a labyrinth of alleyways which made a fun adventure in finding our way. The staff here was also excellent and accommodating and the rooms were very nice. We loved the food tour that we did with a guide who's name sounded like "Swell" although I know that is incorrect. He was also a local gem. The next day, we did a hike in the beautiful Atlas Mountains with Imlil as our start point. Amazing views during the hike as well as at lunch.
The final day we were back in Casablanca and were so glad to get into the Hassan II Mosque as we missed it the first day due to a flight delay. Overall, the four of us had a great experience and would recommend Morocco to our friends.

Our driver for the entire trip was Rachid. He was very young and new as a driver but did get us everywhere we needed to be safely. He was flexible with timing and was willing to leave earlier on some days at our request. I don't think he was familiar with a lot of the roads and locations, but again he had not been driving for long. It seemed at times that Rachid did not have the same itinerary as we had in regards to the stops that we would make in transit from one city to another. That would be in the hands of the Original Travel tour company, not Rachid. My husband unfortunately did not get his luggage until day 11 and Rachid was very helpful in getting us to places where my husband could buy some clothes. Rachid also very kindly made a trip to a pharmacy at my request one morning before picking us up for the day as my husband and one of our friends were both dealing with bad colds. He was very informative about the Atlas Mountain areas and we learned a lot about the local culture. He also played a lot of local music for us which was a fun part of the experience. We all thought he should spend a little less time on his cell phone while driving but honestly I think a lot of that time was conferring with the tour company. Rachid will do well as he continues to get more experience, my only complaint is that after our mosque tour in Casablanca on the last day, we asked to be dropped off at our hotel and he said we needed to wait for him to wat lunch first. Our hotel was only a 5 minute drive away, not sure what that was about.

A few concerns and suggestions. Ali helped us to set up our trip but a few weeks prior to our trip it was handed off to Said who I believe is the brother of the owner. We did not get an explanation for this. Our hotel in Chefchaouen was changed last minute, Said was quite apologetic, but we did not get an explanation for this either. Although our Dar in Chefchaouen was great, we had someone tell us that our original hotel is the only place the queen is willing to stay when she visits. Made us wonder what we were missing. Said made compensations for the price difference by adding a guided tour in Rabbat as well as "adding" the ATV tour in Merzouga and the food tour in Marrakesh. The problem being that the ATV tour and the food tour were already listed as included in our itinerary. The tour in Rabbat is the only tour of the trip that seemed odd. Hassan was our guide; he was impatient to the point of being rude, in a hurry and seemed most concerned with my husband's hat asking if he could buy it or where could he get a similar hat. He completely skipped taking us to Chellah which is the highlight of Rabbat; he told our drive that we said we didn't want to go there which was a complete lie. Rachid did take us there but we paid for our own entry which should have been part of the tour and we did not have a guide.
When we arrived in Casablanca, we only had one room for the two couples booked. Said did remedy this quickly but oddly enough, it happened again on our last night at the same hotel. Again, it was quickly fixed but it seems that would have been checked on after the first time.
On our way from Merzouga to Skoura, we had an unscheduled stop at a rug shop. We didn't ask for this and would say it just wasted precious trip time.
Our stay at the Sahara Sky Luxury Camp was great but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that there were no outlets in the tents (there was electric lights) as well as the only thing they had for charging devices were 2 USB ports in the rooms. As USB-C is now more common, we weren't prepared. Again, the camp was great, but that information would have been helpful.
And here's my biggest concern. We purchased quite a few things from local crafts people. We are seasoned travelers and are well aware of the fact that in some countries, the tour guides that are with you get a cut of your purchase. That being said, we ran into another group of travelers from the US at the end of our trip in Casablanca. They bought similar items from similar places and paid far less than we did. Made us wonder if Original Travel is also getting a large cut. Which then also made us wonder about the other two hotels that were changed last minute without our knowledge (Merzouga and Marrakesh). Again, although the places were great, should we have received some sort of refund? We have no way of knowing if the cost was equal to the original sites. No one likes to feel like they've been taken for a ride financially.
I don't want to minimize the experience that we had and I will say that Said was quite helpful with an hour long phone call a week before our trip. He also helped with things during the trip. I probably wouldn't have mentioned the hotel thing in Casablanca but after finding out the cost differences on purchased items, we wondered about many other things.

The camp was clean and the food was great. Staff was very attentive and helpful. We very much appreciated Mohammed. The music in the evening was also a great touch. Would have nice to be aware ahead of time that there were no electrical outlets in the tents as well as knowing there were only 2 USB ports per tent as most people now have USB-c. We would have been more prepared if we had been aware of this ahead of time.

We had a guided tour of Rabbat with a tour guide named Hassan. He was the first guide of our trip and the only one who we didn't appreciate. Thus the 3 star review. He was in a rush, a bit rude and completely skipped Chellah (Roman and Islamic ruins). He lied to our driver and told him that we didn't want to go there. Fortunately, our driver got us to Chellah and we had time to at least walk through the grounds. Rabbat itself was fantastic and worth the trip

Guided Tour of Hassan II Mosque

We were glad to be able to get this in on our last day as we missed it on the scheduled day due to a flight delay. The mosque is beautiful and should be seen by all visitors especially since it is one of only 2 mosques in Morocco which non Muslims can enter. It was a bit hard to hear the tour guide as it was a very very large group of people (you stand under the sign of your preferred language and a tour guide shows up so absolutely no way to limit the number of people in your group)

Said arranged for a wonderful trip for us. Karim was our driver and was fantastic! He shared his fascinating personal stories with us and navigated difficult traffic always with calm and a smile! A warm and caring person who was with us from beginning to end. We had some excellent day guides as well - Mohammad in Marrakesh and Sharif in Fes. I would not recommend the cooking class - not worth it and really just watching people make lunch. Otherwise the hotels and Riads were all wonderful - Riad Mohktar in Tangier; Riad Pelerin in Marrakesh and Riad Lina in Chefchaouen and Riad Braya in Fes - all amazing. We were 2 couples travelling and this trip did not disappoint. Well paced!

This was a bomb. The guide didn’t really give us any information. We waited for an hour on a bench with no instructions. The “class” was really watching a woman cook us lunch. We chopped an onion and a few tomatoes. Zero instruction. Then we ate lunch which was almost inedible. The guide was nowhere to be found so we left.

We had a great experience working with Majid and kimkim especially as we arranged our trip without a lot of lead time. Majid helped us quickly plan a wonderful 10-day trip through a good part of Morocco (Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Boumalne Dades/Ait Benhaddou, Marrakesh) which allowed us to experience many of the country's beautiful traditions, culture and people. He organised an excellent and friendly driver, Ismail, who spent countless hours on the road with us and was always happy to share facts, language lessons, tips, insights, and excellent restaurant recommendations. He quickly became one of our most trusted resources and good friend. Both Majid and Ismail were always keen to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves and seeing the best of Morocco. They were in constant touch from the beginning to the end.

Travelling in a small group of only two women, I was pleased with the accommodations selected by Majid. They were always beautiful, safe, and offered exactly what we needed in each city whether that was a beautiful view or a cool respite. Our activities were varied yet tailored to our requests and many of the associated individual guides/hosts always very welcoming. We especially enjoyed the cooking class with Rania, Latifa and their families who so kindly welcomed us into their home for the evening. We also appreciated Mohammed, our expert guide through the Dades Gorge, providing an impromptu opportunity to share mint tea with his Berber friend and learn first-hand about Berber families and culture.

This trip was an unbelievable once in a lifetime experience that my mom and I got to experience together thanks to Hassan!
Ahmed was an INCREDIBLE guide / driver for our entire trip and the experience would not have gone as smoothly as it did if it wasn’t for him. He was incredible, thoughtful and knowledgeable.

We had a last minute hotel change in Chefchouen to a less expensive hotel - we felt badly about that because we were looking forward to the view and obviously think the price difference should be refunded. But otherwise our hotels were quite nice - especially Fez. The people in each hotel could not have been nicer, the breakfasts were great and accommodations good.
Our driver Mohammed, was exceptional. We all were so happy with him, his care and attention. Five stars for Mohammed.
As for city guides, Amin in Marrakesh and Karim in Fez were superb - knowledgeable, understandable and flexible. We learned a lot.
Baba in Chefchouen was on his third or fourth tour of the day and he was tired and irritable. He actually chastised us for buying our merchandise in Marrakesh and Fez and not in Chefchouen, and went even further by saying, “how many rugs did you buy?” “You paid 4-5x for your goods in Marrakesh and Fez. We understand he just wanted commission at “his father’s” store. That tour left us feeling bad about him.
I would definitely use KimKim again on the basis of the well-organized trip and our driver and first two guides. Thank you, Hakim.

The guided tour in Marrakech was fantastic. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice, making the whole experience enjoyable. He added a personal touch, taking us to what he claimed was a relative's drug store, which was quite fun without any hard sell. It was a memorable part of our visit.

Our driver, Mohammad, was truly extraordinary! Generous, honest and concerned about every experience. Was more of a friend by our departure in Tangier. Please pass this along to him.
Daily guides ranged from good to really bad. Last day in Chefchaouen the guide, Baba, was sincerely bad, rude, angry and aggressively trying to sell us in his ‘family’ shop, clearly working us for his commission from the shop. Not a good experience.

Our trip to Morocco was beyond anything we could have expected. The people, culture, food and shopping were all amazing. Ali and Siad were both excellent to work with, but the highlight of our trip was our driver Faissal. Faissal went above and beyond in all ways to make sure we were happy, well taken care of and had the best trip we could. Faissal is professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, very concerned with your wellbeing and happiness on the trip and of course a great bargainer when it comes to shopping. He made restaurant recommendations, adjusted the trip (sometimes at the last minute) to make sure we saw the best of Morroco, made sure we saw the best sites and shopping and made sure we always got the best price.

Our guides were all excellent as well. Mohamed gave us a once in a lifetime food tour in the old Medina of Marrakech.

Adbu was very informative during our tour of Marrakech and took us to some amazing shops where Faissal of course got us the best deals.

Sharif was one of the best guides I have ever had in all my travels. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Fez, extremely patient with our shopping (with Faissal for bargaining!), has excellent English and provided us with a world class day in Fez.

Faissal made last minute arrangements for Abdul to show us Meknes. Thank you Faissal! Adbul's knowledge was only matched by his energy. He gave us a great tour of the mausoleum and market of Meknes.

Fatima is a world class guide for sure. Having grown up in Chefchaouen, she showed us all the points of interest and explained the history of the city in near perfect English.

Faissal came through again with a last minute tour of Akchour and the Ponte de Dieu with Omar. Omar has been hiking that area for years and it was a great way to break up our drive from Chefchaouen to Tangiers.

Again, we had an absolutely unbelievable trip to Morocco and could not have asked for a better driver than Faissal. He truly made our trip one we will remember forever!

The rooms were nicely appointed, and staying in a riad was a unique and wonderful way to explore Moroccan culture. Definitely recommend experiencing a riad at least once!

Riad Braya in Fes was quite lovely, and the breakfast was amazing, but there was a bit of confusion around meals as our guide informed us we could have dinner there, only to find out no food service was available in the evening. It was also advised to stay close to the riad at night, which made going out for dinner tricky. Despite these minor issues, it was otherwise a great place to stay.

Abdul was a fabulous guide. We would have walked in circles in Chefchaouen without him leading the way. Thank you for showing us your beautiful town and for the friendly conversation. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

I don't have enough positive things to say about our experience with KimKim and Original Travels. Not only was the service super easy to use, but having a local plan our trip made the experience all the more special. It felt like we were really able to maximize the limited time we had in Morocco and leave having gotten a great overview of the country, which is no easy feat given how much there is to see and experience (I will definitely be going back!). A special shoutout to Ali and Said who were very responsive, easy to communicate with, and did an excellent job customizing our experience to us.

Perhaps the true star of our trip, however, was our local driver, Tayeb. He went above and beyond in making us feel welcome — meeting all of our needs, providing great recommendations, keeping us safe, and teaching us so much about Moroccan history and culture. He made our experience unforgettable, and we left feeling like we'd made a true friend. Make sure to request him directly when you book! You'll be in the best of hands.

My Husband and I just returned from a amazing 15 day Morocco tour with Morocco Immersion.We had the best driver that we could have asked for Ahmed went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly even going out of the way to track down a pharmacy that sold tweezers since I forgot mine at home and got a splinter.Ahmad was not only punctual but kept the van clean every night when he washed it.Ahmad took us to his personal home in Rose Valley to meet his family and have a delicious home cooked meal by his own mother.We had several local stand out guides throughout the trip in each location Abdul in Dades Valley was extremely knowledgeable,Said in Fez was funny and did a excellent job of both entertaining us and educating at the same time.The stand outs for us were the private cooking classes in Fez and Marrakesh also the over night in the luxury camp in the Sahara.Raid's that were chosen for us were all clean and well maintained.

Our trip to Morocco was a blast - it's a wild, beautiful, culturally rich country. The whole team that we worked with (mostly Majid, Hassan, Hassan) were all top-notch. Great communication, well organized, flexible, accommodating, and knowledgable. They helped me organize an incredible engagement in the Sahara dessert that was so magical. Our driver, Hassan, made us feel safe while keeping us informed on the amazing cultures throughout the country. All of the accommodation and activities were fun, informative, and a once in a lifetime opportunity. Highly recommend a trip to Morocco!

Driver Ousama was the best, makes extra effort to our needs, very knowledgeable about the cities he is driving us. His driving is safe & comfortable.
The only problem with Humza he did not inform us when the Vehicle was switch to lower category Vehicle.

I would recommend to anyone planning a trip that you ask for Tayeb by name—he truly made our journey what it was.

The Riyadh in Marrakesh was really nice. Our room was laid out in an odd way with the showers and bathrooms located kind of in the middle of the room, which wasn't ideal for privacy when traveling with my daughter. It was a bit quirky, but I guess that's part of the charm of these older historical buildings. Overall, it was a good experience staying there.

The hotel is lovely and the staff very helpful, but oddly some basics fell way short. We stayed at Barcelo Anfa Casablanca on our first night in Morocco and again 9 days later on our way out of the country. In both rooms, the water leaked onto the floor. There seems to be some design problem with the showers. On our 2nd stay, the room had lnly one towel for two people and there was only a partial roll of toilet paper that didn't last the night. There was also no hairdryer in the room and no hooks in the bathroom for a toiletry bag or towel. These oversights made for a less than ideal stay and we ended up making an urgent call for delivery of toilet paper and a dry towel, the already used towel was on the floor soaking up water when we realized there was not another one. A hotel of this caliber should and could do better.

The Marrakech Evening Food Tour could have been scheduled earlier in the trip. By the time we did it, we had already tried much of the Moroccan cuisine on our own. The guide wasn't very engaging, or perhaps it was a language barrier issue, but it wasn't quite the warm experience we had with the other guides during the trip.

We had a wonderful introduction to Morocco. We deeply appreciated learning about its culture, history and hope for the future.

The historical and cultural sites exceeded our expectations and enriched our knowledge of Morocco. The camel rides and glamping were exciting, but the visits to the Medinas, Kasbahs, and souks were major highlights and educational opportunities. The sights, sounds, smells and sensory aspects all enhanced the experience.

Our guides, Chakib and Hassan were particularly outstanding. However, the pièce de resistance - our superb, competent, caring and funny driver Ayoub- is really what made the difference! We would recommend him anytime and would absolutely use his services again.

We also appreciated the attentiveness of many of the Riads and hotels. We also had a great camel attendant, Abdul on our sunset trek in the Sahara.

Wonderful property. We were given a tour on arriving which made for a good first impression. The pool, restaurant and entry ways made for a great feel. The room was nicely appointed but alas the bathroom configuration with a tub without a glass partition with a hand held shower was not easy to maneuver without giving the floor a good soaking. The staff were all wonderful, in particular our waiter at dinner and breakfast, Lassene (sp?) who was not only helpful but incredibly professional. He was truly excellent! The welcome at reception should also be noted.

Wonderful experience! The camel ride was well done. Our camel, Abdul, was very caring and competent helping us to enjoy the moment. The entire environmentally friendly concept of the camp was immensely appealing to us and we were quite appreciative. Everything was good from the lodging, to the staff, to the food, and the entertainment around the campfire. The only problem was that while the shower was great , the drain seemed to have been blocked as the water didn’t flow out even overnight. Apart from that one issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Apart from that we quite enjoyed our stay there.

What an amazing trip! We stayed at beautiful Riads within walking distance to markets that were open night and day and had many, many restaurant from which we could eat (all with great food). We visited a mosaic factory and purchased beautiful keepsakes. We stayed at a camp on the outskirts of the Sahara desert where we rode camels into the desert at sunset and hunted for fossils (found many). We were invited to visit a local home where a delicious dinner of local foods was prepared and served to us and we had the opportunity to talk about life in Morocco. Our driver and guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The souks were exciting but unlike other countries, no one hassled you to buy.
I strongly recommend taking Kimkim tours as they are well organized, the lodging is remarkable, and the sightseeing is superb. You won't be disappointed!

During our entire trip we were very well cared for. Knowledge snd communication skills of drivers and guides made us feel very comfortable. Which enhanced our experience of beautiful Morocco
Ahmed our 1 driver was especially friendly and fun to be with. He made our safety his highest concern.
The 2nd driver back to Casablanca took us to FedEx. When well left he made sure to ask if we had all our belongs including getting passport back. Which was not given back to me. So I was able to go retrieve it immediately. Which I’m so thankful for.
