We had a fantastic twelve day adventure in Morocco with KimKim. I would recommend it to anyone keen for safe but exotic adventure. Our trip started at Tangiers, then to Chefchaouen, Fes, a Sahara camp, the Dades valley and finished in Marrakech.
Oussama, our driver and guide was wonderful, our car was comfortable and modern, the Riads along the way were beautiful and very very friendly. Special mentions for the Hotel Jasmine in Chefchaouen and Riad Laroussa in Fes!
The Tiziri Luxury camp in the Sahara, and the 3 hour sunset camel ride in to the camp from Merzouga over the dunes was an experience of a lifetime

We almost always do all of our own planning and booking for foreign travel, but while googling Morocco destinations we came across kimkim and decided to give them a try. Saïd put together an incredible, flawless itinerary that hit all of our requests on the nail, within our budget. And he was always available, seemingly at any time of day or night, to answer questions or offer advice. And we were accompanied for the entire trip, from airport to the Sahara and back again, by our skillful, courteous and immensely organized driver/guide/new friend Noureddine! Our riad in Marrakesh was beautiful, we had a wonderful guided tour of the Medina and souks, and Noureddine led us to fun and varied restaurants, while accounting for the four of us being a mix of omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. The drive from Marrakech to Merzouga and the edge of the Sahara is a long way, but the route through the gorges and Amazigh/Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains was beautiful and fascinating, and we stopped frequently for viewpoints, lunch, and bathroom breaks. And once again Saïd arranged for very high quality accommodation at beautiful riads, and some memorable breakfasts and dinners. It was thrilling to see the dunes of Erg Chebbi appear and grow on the horizon, and when we arrived at our camp at sunset we got straight on to the camels for a dune trek — magical. Our camp on the edge of the dunes had air conditioning units, flushing toilets and showers, and was operated by 6 lively young Amazigh men who fed us, sang, danced and played drums with us, and helped us try sandboarding! All in all it was an amazing week of sights, sounds, tastes, smells, laughs and memories. Thank you Saïd and Noureddine for everything you did to introduce us to your spectacular country!

I have never booked a personalized trip before, figuring it was way to expensive and out of reach. But when my husband and I decided to go to Morocco we had very little time and there was so much we wanted to see. I decided to investigate custom travel to aid in our transfers from place to place and help us determine the best places to go. We could not be more happy with the service we received. Not only was it affordable, the booking specialists who helped us design our trip listened carefully to how we like to travel, what are preferences are and what types of things we like to do and see. The communication with both Saïd and Mohamed planning the details to get it just right was both seamless and easy. Our driver/guide, Karim, spoke very good english and drove us to each location, explaining each of the sites while also offering us the time we wanted to explore on our own. He was flexible when we got spirited away and accommodated all of our wishes. We had a different local guide in Fes, Sharif, which is essential if you want to visit the huge Medina there. His english was superb and he showed us places we'd have never discovered on our own while also educating us on the history of the old town. KimKim Travel works with local, native guides who can give you a far greater understanding of a place than you could ever discover on your own. I highly recommend trying out a custom tour - you will be glad you did!

Our round trip through Morocco was one of the best we have ever experienced. We have so many wonderful memories of the country, the people, the new friends and the beautiful landscapes! Special thanks to Soufiane, our driver, who accompanied us for 10 days. He was always helpful, friendly and responsive to our wishes and we always felt very comfortable. I in particular always suffer from motion sickness, but Soufiane found a driving style that I could only enjoy. Simply beautiful! Besonderen Dank an Soufiane, unseren Fahrer, der uns 10 Tage lang begleitet hat. Er war immer hilfsbereit, freundlich und ging auf unsere Wünsche ein und wir haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders ich leide immer unter Reisekrankheit, aber Soufiane fand einen Fahrstil, den ich nur genießen konnte. Einfach schön! Besonderen Dank an ihn, aber auch an das ganze Team in Marokko... alle Daumen hoch!!!

We had an incredible trip through Morocco. Our guide, Mouad, made sure we were always having fun, adjusting to our independent plans to ensure we had the best experience. As a group of three girls, we always felt safe and comfortable. Mouad constantly shared facts, jokes, anecdotes, and anything else that could enhance our trip. Everything was well-organized, and the entire journey ran smoothly. We could stop along the drive for photos, snacks, or anything else we needed, and Mouad was always there to help.

On our way to the desert, we were delayed by flash floods that blocked our route to the camp, but it didn’t feel like a big deal at all. We avoided the flooded areas and had a meal with his family since we couldn’t travel further. It was so lovely and heartwarming to experience that kind of Moroccan hospitality. What could have been a stressful travel hiccup turned into a delightful alternative plan, still aligned with what we wanted from the trip.

I loved our time in Marrakech, the desert (my favorite), and Fez. I felt like we truly learned about the rich history of each region while enjoying delicious food and having a lot of fun. I highly recommend heading to the desert (we traveled via Skoura and then to Merzouga), and riding camels to watch the sunset over the dunes. You’ll also witness an incredible starry sky and a stunning sunrise. Other highlights included our cooking class, food tours, ATVing, seeing the oldest university in the world (!!), the leather tanneries, and so much more.

A big thank you to Mouad, our guide and driver, for putting up with our shenanigans over ten days and becoming a friend! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who will listen (I already have been, and I haven’t even been home for a week!). Majid also made our trip so easy to plan and alter as went along.

We had a wonderful trip to Morocco. Tayeb was an excellent driver and knew so much of the history and culture of his country. He was readily available and happy to accommodate all of our requests. He was able to gauge our level of interest all along the way which meant that we experienced and enjoyed the aspects of Morocco which particularly interested us. Having Tayeb as our driver meant that our trip was smooth and gentle and left us wanting to revisit Morocco. Hopefully we will return sometime in the future.

From the start of planning the trip by Abdellah to the end of of 5 days with our guide/driver Tayeb everything was top notch. Our plans changed a few times and every time Abdellah responded promptly and professionally fulfilling all our requests.
Our wonderful guide Tayeb always was prompt and polite and willing to go the extra mile with any requests we had. He was most knowledgeable about everything Moroccan and able to explain all the customs and history to us in an interesting manner

We have just finished an amazing 10 day trip to Morocco. From the start, Hamza helped us plan the most perfect itinerary. He was very responsive to all of our questions and did a fantastic job tapering and planning the trip to meet our needs. It was our guide, Tarik, that made the trip memorable and unique. He anticipated our every need and his upbeat personality and fantastic laugh made each part of this adventure so much fun. Not only is he well versed in his country’s history and culture, he was incredibly resourceful in pointing out all of the small and wonderful places to stop, and making my group of 4, part of these experiences. He also provided practical advice with tips for safety and the understanding of local customs, both insightful and respectful of Moroccan culture. We felt like we were always in good hands, Tarik was always on time, flexible to our needs and kept us comfortable. We benefitted from the addition of Hamza, a guide in training, who brought his personal energy and kindness to our group. He was also special and will be a great future guide for your company. In the end, these two wonderful guides felt more like friends who were an integral part of our group, seamlessly integrating themselves into our travel experience of this enchanting country and enriching it beyond my expectations. Our trip to Morocco was a long time in the making due to Covid related delays. So when we finally landed in Casablanca on the 2 September we were incredibly excited to be starting our trip.
From beginning to end we have had the most amazing experience in this diverse, gorgeous country. From the ancient imperial cities of Fez, Meknes and Marrakech to the relaxed towns of Skoura, Ait Benhaddou and Chefchaouen we encountered incredible artisans, making a range of beautiful things, rugs, pottery, clothes, jewellery. The awe-inspiring landscapes and architecture and most importantly wonderful, warm Moroccan hosts who truly invited us into each Riad as family.
We did encounter some weather related challenges with floods stopping our plans to get to the Sahara but our Kimkim rep Said was amazing at rerouting our trip, to ensure we still got a desert experience and ensured all our accomodation dates were reworked - no small thing to do in the high season. Kimkim also ensured our accomodation was of a very high standard, each Riad and hotel had something special to offer, very comfortable and had lovely interiors.
We were also very fortunate with our driver Faysel, who brought so much fun and energy to our experience and as two women traveling together always ensured we were well looked after and safe. Full of helpful local information, and an excellent skillful driver, Faysel became a friend on our journey as we all travelled together.
Kimkim also supplied us with great local guides - Mohamed in Fes, who knew the Medina inside out and gave us so much insight into local culture. In beautiful Essaouira our guide built on our knowledge of this fascinating city, showcasing the importance of the Islamic, Jewish and Christian influences throughout Morocco's history and its probably the Moroccan city that most signalled a connection with Africa. Finally our last guide Said in Marrakech, who took us on both city and food tours - was so much fun to hang out with. Knowledgeable, thoughtful and with a wonderful dry sense of humour he made both tours so memorable - I even ate snails and sheep's head under his encouragement 😀

Incredible 10 day trip to Morocco. Despite some unexpected and unavoidable natural occurrences (extreme flooding), our driver Samir Gemmaoui and Ali were attentive and solved problems on the fly to make sure we felt safe and accommodated. From the start, Ali helped us curate an itinerary that worked within our budget and timeline - quick to respond and helpful with recommendations. Throughout our journey, our driver Samir truly made our experience unforgettable. He was respectful, kind, punctual and made us feel as if we were on a journey with a friend showing us their country. Could not have had a better experience with Samir.

We particularly had a nice time visiting Fes on a guided tour with Sharif. Our Riad was spectacular and a one of kind experience.

Not one day has gone by since the end of our trip without some reminiscing of our time in Morocco. Because of the floods we had to cut this entire experience short and also didn't have the chance to stay in the camp we had originally booked. We loved our experience in the desert, but are on the fence about recommending Oasis Luxury Camp. There were some cleanliness issues (toilet seemed used when we arrived) and the food was not the best. However, it is hard to give an accurate assessment considering the heavy rains the entire area experienced.

Original travels organized the trip of a lifetime for us. Abdel was very responsive to our questions and our preferences when we were in the planning stages, and Saïd regularly checked in throughout the trip to make sure we were happy and our needs were being met. Our driver/guide Karim was fantastic - he was so knowledgeable, sharing his love for his country with us, and his positive energy made our trip a delight. At one point heavy rains closed roads we were meant to take to Merzouga in the Sahara- Saïd quickly made new arrangements for us to make sure we didn't miss out on anything, and Karim was a reassuring presence with his good humour throughout. Thanks for a magnificent holiday that opened up so much of Morocco's magic for us.

Our guide Tarik was the absolute best. He spoke English very well. He was also fun and engaging. As four women traveling to a foreign country he looked out for our safety and made sure we were comfortable. He knew the roads and drove through some challenging situations with ease. His knowledge and love of Morocco was evident in everything he did. He truly helped make this trip one of the best travel experiences of my life.
Our training guide Hamza is a gem. While he started out a little quiet he soon became a huge part of what made our trip special. His English was very good. Again his love for Morocco was evident and his photographing of this beautiful country was amazing! He was helpful and very knowledgeable about Morocco as well. I feel very blessed that we were able to meet these two amazing individuals who truly love their jobs.

I can't imagine a better way to experience Morocco than with Morocco Immersion. From my first interaction with Nihad through kimkim, I was impressed. She crafted an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests and exceeded expectations, even handling last-minute changes effortlessly. Nihad was always responsive, answering all my questions—even late at night.

We booked a 12-day tour with our own tour manager/driver. Thanks to Morocco Immersion’s connections, we stayed in the best riads, had top local guides, and enjoyed luxury at a reasonable price.

Our guide, Omar, quickly became more than just a guide—by the end, he was a lifelong friend. He made us feel at home from day one, helping us navigate the culture, people, and customs. One evening, after we ventured too far from our riad, Omar went out of his way to pick us up, even after his day was done. His care and hospitality were unmatched. Omar also surprised us by acting as our personal videographer, capturing special moments and editing short video clips for us. Saying goodbye at the airport was tough, but we left knowing we had made a true friend.

Morocco Immersion treated us like family. We were welcomed into their homes, shared meals, and experienced their incredible hospitality throughout. Locals we met spoke highly of the team, reaffirming that we made the right choice. We felt blessed to be in their care and, though I selfishly wanted to keep this amazing agency a secret, the world deserves to know how incredible they are and how to experience Morocco the right way.

The service here is impeccable! Having someone like Abdul be there for you at breakfast is the right way to wake up in Marrkaesh! He was funny and attentive and so very hospitable. Taught us all about the various Moroccan items we were savoring and showed us how to pour Moroccan tea the right way. His tea service was by far the best Moroccan tea we had on the trip!

This is glamping at the next level! With your own shower, AC, toilet and a king sized bed! Our night in the desert was a special one - we were met with a rain storm! It *does* rain in the Sahara!! And wet Sahara sand is something to marvel at. We were lucky to have experienced this phenomenon. However, it also did mean that our camp lost power and so was operating on generator power, because of this some of the lights in the camp were not lit - but our AC and everything within our tents all still had power! Even despite the rain, the staff still gave us a beautifully cooked 4-course meal, and ended the night with songs and dancing in the dining hall tent. They deserved all the tips for contending with the rain and still making sure we were all kept comfortable, dry and sated.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at on our trip in Morocco. The mosaic tile work here in every room was a wonder. Despite its stunning aesthetics, the service at the hotel could be improved. Although the front desk staff does speak English, they still were not fluent, and so at times had a difficult time communicating with the team. This surprised us as this was one of the most fancy hotels we stayed at and we didn't have a problem communicating with hotel staff in all the other riads we've stayed at on our trip. We also decided to experience the Hammam in the spa here, to which unfortunately I would say to skip. I think the experience is overpriced here for what it is. Save it to try somewhere else. Despite what we paid for, both my Hammam and massage felt very rushed.

Oh my goodness!! My husband and I had the most wonderful trip to Morroco for 10 days, due to, first of Ali, our fabulous trip planner at Original Travels which works locally with KimKim.com. We began with a basic itinerary which was one of the many offered for Morocco. Then Ali helped me to personalize the trip for some of my interests: We were able to visit a stable of Arabian and Berber horses which was amazing! We also visited a ceramic factory and a rug cooperative that benefits women weavers.

Our driver, Sufian, was just terrific, and we didn't realize how incredibly helpful he would be! He knows at least Arabic, Berber, English, French and some Spanish! Sufian was so personable and helpful in any way he could be. One of the most pleasurable parts of our trip was getting to know him and exchanging information and perspectives on each of our cultures - such a great learning experience! We will definitely stay in touch.

We also met many knowledgeable local guides which added immeasurably to our understanding of the Muslim culture and places of interest: Abdoul; Said; Mohammed and so many others.

The accommodations were also beautiful and comfortable - couldn't have asked for more. I could go on but suffice it to say that I would absolutely recommend KimKim.com and Original Travels!

After being home for a couple days and reflecting back on our trip I’m convinced we wouldn’t have had nearly the amount of authentic experiences if it weren’t for our guide, Tarik. The logistics that he took care of were priceless. Handling and navigating all of the driving, the pickup and drop offs. He called ahead to all of our accommodations to make sure they knew we were close and to have someone ready to handle our bags. He was funny and knowledgeable. He also was understanding in our needs as four middle aged woman who always needed to pee. I can’t recommend Tarik enough. We had the greatest time. The planning and communication on the kimkim side was also unmatched. I will for sure be using them again for future travels. A special shoutout to Tarik’s trainee, Hamza. He has a bright future in the travel industry.

After so much research and reading endless reviews, I chose Kimkim to help me book this detailed and lengthy trip. From the beginning, Said was extremely patient, thorough, and answered my MANY questions. Said made himself available throughout the entire process, including several changes I had to make due to date changes and where to fly out of at end of trip. I was so impressed with Said’s kindness, professionalism, communication, and time he took to ensure I was satisfied and happy with my trip itinerary. Said speaks perfect English and will ensure to tailor the trip you want! Said was in Essaouira towards the end of our trip and even took time to have lunch with me for feedback from our trip. I feel like we have made a friend for life with Said. That’s the care/treatment you feel with Said. I highly recommend utilizing this personal tour to include Karim, the driver/guide extraordinaire! My trip consisted of myself, my daughter, and her boyfriend. We stayed in 10 different cities, including the Sahara desert, which required lots of driving and time spent with Karim. Having our own vehicle was extremely comfortable and made it personal. From day 1 when I met Karim, he exuded kindness, professionalism and charm (Did I mention he’s handsome as well?). Karim speaks perfect English and is so proud of his beautiful country. I have a tendency to ask too many questions but he was never bothered by it. Karim took such good care of us and without him, our trip would not have been as amazing as it was. When we were in Rabat, we took a taxi to the old Medina that evening and our taxi driver could not speak English (Google translate was not working). I called Karim and he translated for me to ensure we would arrive safely to our destination. Karim also picked us up that evening and took us back to our hotel. In Chefchaouen, my daughter experienced a medical incident on the hike to the waterfall. She was on the verge of passing out and thanks to Karim, we were able to get her help and out of there safely. Karim made our trip so beautiful and extra special that the time flew by. I learned so much about the people, culture, food, and music through Karim that I am forever grateful. Thank you Karim for showing me all the beauty of your country, including your culture and people. For being who you are and for opening up your heart to us. I will never forget you and hope we stay in touch. My favorites: A must see Blue City(Chefchaouen), eating with a local family in their home-Fes, visiting the nomadic family in the anti-Atlas mountains. The Sahara desert with food and music in the camp. Visiting the beautiful Berber woman and seeing how they make the Moroccan rugs in the Atlas Mountains. Our food tour in Marrakech with Said, seeing how argan oil is made one nut at a time outside of Essaouira, and the beauty of Essaouira with learning how to make Tagine with Said and his family! I have had the opportunity to travel to more than 30 countries and I honestly feel this was the best trip I have ever taken. I owe this to Said and Karim for structuring the trip the way I wanted and for providing us an immersive experience that you just don’t get on average trips. I left feeling that I could live there and that I needed more time in Morocco. Morocco will always hold a special place in my heart!

Our trip was everything I’d hoped it would be and more! Our guide, Tarik, was FANTASTIC and is now our forever friend! He took care of all our needs and went above and beyond- stopping for yellow melons, donkey petting, and grabbing a few dates, making sure someone was always there to help us with luggage, directing us to the best restaurants, giving us advice on tipping and shopping and answering a million questions, and keeping us safe while driving on some crazy roads! We were also so lucky to have a second guide in training, Hamza! He was our social media superstar- taking fabulous photos and videos for us and lending a second local perspective. He is going to be a fantastic guide on his own soon!
Morocco is a country of history, beautiful landscapes, vibrant cities, and wonderful, friendly people (many of whom speak English (along with Arabic & French). I learned so much in this trip that I wish there was a final exam at the end!

Our driver guide Samir was fabulous. He was incredibly knowledgeable and could not have taken better care of us throughout our trip. Each city we visited, had its own charm and personality.

We took a two-week trip in August of 2024, which was organized by Majid.

We loved our trip! The itinerary was perfect, with just the right amount of time at each location. The accommodations were very nice, and the local guides were great. Majid did a fantastic job of organizing the whole thing.

The best part of the trip was our driver/guide, Ismael. He has the perfect personality for the job: fun, well-informed, and kind. He was a great driver and a very interesting person to chat with during the drives from one location to the next. The whole family missed him on the days we were not with him. By the end of the trip, it felt like he was part of the family.

Also, the WIFI in the van was a very nice touch.

Overall, we could not be happier with our experience with our tour.
