We had a wonderful trip to Morocco despite the late planning /organizing- The local specialists, Ali and Said were extremely helpful and assited us in tailoring our trip to fit all our needs. Upon arrival at Casablanca, we were received by the local driver, Ayoob who was outstanding. He was attentive, super helpful and knowledgeable. He made the long distance driving trip very enjoyable and relaxing. The highlight of our experience was the Merzouga luxury camp being managed by Hamid and team. Hamid is excellent and his team (Mohammed, Ibrahim and others) make sure guests have a memorable experience in the desert. Overall we had a memorable trip and would highly recommend this team to our friends and family.

Our stay at Merzouga camp was the highlight of our Morocca experience. Special thanks to Hamid, manager and Mohamed, Ibrahim and other staff for creating such an awesome experience for the visitors and making us feel at home. There was a sandstorm (apparently an extremely unlikely event) the night that we arrived and we were thrilled and excited to hear the wind howling outside the tent which was an unforgettable experience. The staff went special lengths to provide everyone a sumptuous delicious dinner despite the unpredictable weather. The next day, the winds calmed down and it was very beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the sand dunes and had a memorable camel ride to watch the sunset. It was a surreal experience of a lifetime! We had a delicous dinner, listened to the local music and danced with the staff and guests. The night sky is truly an astronomer's delight !

We only stayed briefly at this hotel. The stay was pleasant. We arrived late at night and the staff were kind to accomodate our needs with a fabulous dinner sent to our room. The food was delicious and we could see that there was a lot of care put into it. The front desk staff were nice and friendly as well.

Given that Chefchaueuen is a hilly town, this hotel is quite a bit of walk from the main road. But the porters help in carrying the luggage and so it's not an issue.

The hotel is a beautiful, renovated riad right in the Medina. It has only a few rooms and well maintained. During our stay, it seemed to be less crowded. The spa experience was great- the staff were helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a relaxed stay, this is a nice place. If you need a vibrant, happening place, you should choose to stay elsewhere.

The bar staff was super friendly and chatted with us about his signature drink. The hammam staff were super nice and kind and did an amazing job.

We stayed in the large suite as the other rooms had sold out during that time. Even though the suite was luxurious and large, there were mosquitoes noted in the room. It's not clear if that's the case because that suite is not being used at all times. Maybe the well occupied rooms would have been better.

We had a memorable and amazing guided tour of Marrakesh with our guide, Hannan. Hannan is super nice, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She was a welcome contrast to our guide in Fes. Hannan gave us an excellent overview of the spice markets, the sights such as the koutouba mosque and the Bahia palace tour. She also went out of the way to find us a great lunch place after we finished out tour.

Guided Tour of Fez Medina

We had a good time touring the Fes Medina. Being a Friday, some shops were closed. The guide, Azdeen gave us a good overview of the tanneries, old school and attarine madarasa. He also took us to the ceramic shop, tanneries and other shops in the medina. At times we felt that the guide was taking us to places such as leather shops where we were forced to buy things and getting a bit upset as we showed no interest in buying things as we were mainly touring for the experience. At the ceramic shop, the prices are super expensive and we felt like we got cheated for the few pieces that we bought here We probably paid 3 xtimes, but we thought the money could be used as a donation for the artisans who work there. This is a tip to the future travelers, tour this place, but avoid buying anything here. The folks also force you to look at fountains and big pieces that are super expensive and marked up for sure.

Booking my amazing trip in Morocco with multiple cities was made simple and seamless with Said and his team. We started off in Marrakech --> Dades Valley --> Sahara desert --> Fez —> Chefchaouen/blue city --> Tangier, with stops for all the sights in-between.

Said responded very quickly to my itinerary request and mapped out my desired route, added 4/5 star fantastic hotels, and made recommendations at the cities that I didn't even know of (eg dinner with a local family in Fez). While in Marrakech I unfortunately lost a day due to travelers tummy and Said quickly rejiggered my itinerary by pushing everything out a day, which would have been a nightmare if I had to do this myself.

Our driver, Samir, who was with us from beginning to end was fantastic. He is very polite, professional, and was a great resource for everything Morocco! He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and got the most out of our Morocco experience. He seems to know everyone and made sure any handoffs with guides and hotels were seamless and we were taken care of. His tips and tricks were very helpful navigating the Médinas in Chefchaouen and Fez! Samir is truly a gem!

This team truly deserves this glowing review - they will be my first call on my next trip to Morocco.

We had an excellent experince from beginning to end with Kim Kim and all those we met along the way. The hotels, experiences, guides, transportation, all were thought through well. My sister and I took my mom to Costa Rica for her 70th birthday and everything they planned for us was exactly in alignment with what we hoped this trip would be. We had the adventure, luxury, comfort aspects and most importantly excellent guides to elevate our experince even more so. The communcation with the Kim Kim team from the start was above par and they truly cared in providing us a great experience. I will be using them again!

We were an adult mother/daughter travel team. We were looking for a trip together where we could learn about a new culture while spending time together, we settled on Morocco as our destination, but we were both too busy to develop our own itinerary. Also, we don’t speak Arabic or Berber, and a large group tour didn't seem like a good fit. Kim Kim/Original travel proposed a program that moved us around the country in 8 days— we saw a lot! Our driver, Samir, was efficient, and unfailingly unflappable, courteous and on time. He schooled us on some language basics and was happy to chat about Morocco. He became a member of our travel team. Sometimes I just wanted to sit in the back seat, eat tasty cookies, and soak up the scenery. That was ok too! We spent time in Casablanca, Fez, the desert (on many camels), Marrakech, and every point in between. Memories to last our lifetimes. We saw a lot that we can study at our leisure now that we are back :)

I can't speak highly enough of Thanos. He had organised for us an excellent journey which he ensured worked smoothly throughout the whole time, from beginning of our planning to the very end. Thanos was most personable and caring and it was a delight meeting him in person.

The other person I can't speak highly enough of either, was our driver, Andreas. Throughout the four days with him, his driving was fantastic, he was great company, thoughtful, helpful and was there for us every step of the way. We gained from Andreas a lot of knowledge about Greece.

All the guides were superb, especially Alex, who guided us through the Acropolis.

We appreciated the great hotels chosen for us.

After a lot of research, my family and I booked this trip to Donsol for an ethical experience with whale sharks and we are so grateful that we did. I highly recommend this trip as it does not have a negative impact on the natural behaviour and environment of the whale sharks.

Our overall experience from the booking process to the trip itself was positive and enjoyable. Cami, our local specialist was very professional and organised meaning that we could relax and have a great time.

Our guide Arisa was absolutely fantastic. She was very kind, thoughtful, helpful and friendly. She made us all feel very welcome.

Our accommodation at Elysia Beach Resort was serene and peaceful and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. My family and I are vegan and they went above and beyond to make sure we had food that we could eat which was much appreciated.

I loved how flexible this trip was. As scuba divers, we wanted to incorporate some dives into the trip and Cami easily organised this for us. Our dive master Bobby was fantastic and made sure we had a great day of diving. We did three incredible dives. One at Bobby’s Wall at San Miguel Islands followed by two drift dives at Manta Bowl Ticao Pass where we were lucky enough to see three giant oceanic manta rays!

We were very excited to see whale sharks in a natural calm environment and we were not disappointed. Our guide Joseph and the rest of his team were very experienced and we were lucky enough to swim alongside a beautiful whale shark, an experience we will never forget!

Swim with Whale Sharks in Donsol

Swimming alongside a whale shark has long been a dream of mine. But for me, the most important thing is to engage in positive experiences with wildlife to ensure we do not negatively impact their environment and natural behaviours. This experience fulfilled my lifelong dream and it was incredible. Our guide Joseph and his team were professional and very experienced. There were only me and my family on the boat and when we finally found a whale shark, it was just us in the water so the experience was calm and stress free. Seeing the whale shark swim on the surface alongside us for about a minute before descending into the deep is a memory that will always stay with me!

Although there were other boats also looking for whale sharks, there were not huge groups of people in the water and the number of boats were limited. What made this experience special was the fact that it was a natural encounter.

Diving Bobby’s Wall at San Miguel Islands and Manta Bowl at Ticao Pass was incredible! Our dive master Bobby was professional and he ensured we had a fantastic day of diving. We saw a lot of beautiful corals and marine life including three giant oceanic manta rays! The non divers also had a great time and were able to snorkel, relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. Overall it was an awesome experience!

First, I would like to say that our driver/guide Sallam could not have been better. He displayed a great competency in his role and understood and executed very well in attending to the needs of our traveling group.
The itinerary for this trip was a bit of a challenge for us 70 something age group. It included a lot of driving on some pretty rough road surfaces, some under construction (especially in the Atlas Mountains). In retrospect, I am delighted that we covered so much of the country. We did insert a "rest" day toward the end of the trip before heading to Marrakech that was very beneficial to us and I might suggest this as a possible option for other groups in the future. All in all, it turned out to be a wonderful adventure and informational trip. We felt that this "immersion" experience helped us to embrace the Moroccan culture and allowed us to learn so much more about Islam and the friendliness of the Muslim people. I would definitely encourage people to take this trip with Kim Kim but would make sure to identify some of the specific physical challenges that might be faced along the way.

Thanos asked my requirements before planning my trip and the whole trip is prefect & excellent exceeded my expectation.

From the moment I touched down from Athens airport , I was received by a private car pick up. Hotels were carefully chosen in the town center with car access, esp in Chania where the hotel is next to the old town with car access.
Hiking were well planed with experienced guides in Samaria gorge hike and in Santorini hikes.

The trip guides were detailed including contacts numbers. Everyday were well planned. Pick up drivers were punctual. Thanos monitored my trip and arranged ferry tickets and flights check in tickets.

I have a safe and wonderful time. It is prefect & seamless planned trip suited my requirements. Thanos is a responsible person, experienced organizer with eye of details (and well thoughts) at every steps of the trip .

Megan arranged a superb tour which was made even better (if even possible) by arranging Hamid to be our driver. What a professional, knowledgeable, kind, proud Berber who answered all our questions and shared the love of his culture. We shared many laughs together. The three of us (all seasoned mature travelers) felt safe and had a terrific time. We highly recommend:
1. the Sahara glamping at Riad Madu and sunset camel riding with Barack and Omar,
2. the climb up the gorge in Atlas Mountains with Mohammed, who shared his home and a family prepared meal
3. a Hammam Beldi full body scrub at Hammam de la Rose in Marrakech
4. a visit to Fes' medina with guide extraordinaire Kamal and an unexpected visit to a women's Berber rug coop
Our 6 different Riad stays were all lovely. Our favorite was Riad Maison Bleue, where Idris took especially great care of us and arranged a birthday cake and music to celebrate.

The trip was amazing with wonderful guides. It was so nice having everything coordinated. Everything went as planned and we had great support all along the way. Alexandra was wonderful - she was our guide in Sacred Valley and Cusco. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She spent more time with us than was planned. Franco was our guide in Machu Picchu, and he too was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for better guides! The Pachamanca was a unique and interesting experience. The food was very good. The transfers from airports to hotels were always right on time and took the worry out of travel. We weren't able to do the tour in Lima because we didn't get to the hotel until after 3 pm - in retrospect, it would have been better to fly from Cusco to Lima the night before. But it was ok. Liz was patient and wonderful in researching several options with us and I think we ended up with the right one for us. Well done. I highly recommend Kim Kim.

When mentioned the next morning, the manager discovered something had happened and was able to correct the problem but it was too late for us. Franco was wonderful and very patient. One of the women in our party was struggling a bit with all the climbing and walking and he helped her quite a bit and moved at her pace. He was very knowledgeable and actually spent more time with us than we had planned. The only negative is that we arrived 5 minutes late for the Huaynapicchu hike and they wouldn't let us do it. We had to hike the smaller mountain. Everything else was wonderful.

Edy (guide) was extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. We were always informed and well prepared for our agenda each day. The gear (tents, sleeping bags, mattress pads, and pillows) were all of high quality. The Kimkim Team that coordinated the trip did a fantastic job of communication regarding all questions in a prompt and professional manner. I would highly recommend them, and we will most likely use their service with future adventures.

When I was researching our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Greece, I was struck by Meteora and wanted this to be a part of our itinerary. As this was not near the Cyclades islands, I requested the itinerary include Meteora, include independent and guided exploration of the mainland, and a nearby island, bring us closer to the greek culture, provide comfortable/authentic accommodations, and allow us to be active. Chris proposed an itinerary that included stays and/or visits to Athens, Delphi, Arachova, Meteora, Galaxidi/Nafpaktos, Zagori region (stay in Vitsa), Vikos Gorge, and Corfu. I was so impressed that he had listened to our desires of having an independent trip, supported by knowledgeable guides, emphasizing more authentic Greek stays, with some free time, and within our budget. We had a thoughtful gift and card from Chris at our first hotel, he checked in with us along the way to make sure we reached each of our destinations without complications, as we were driving ourselves after we left Athens, he had given us directions to each location and planned all of our guided outings as well. We had historical tours, monastery tour, food tour, mountain guided tour, and river rafting tour. All were EXCELLENT! We requested a modification to our last day's tour, and although it was inconvenient to do so, Chris made it happen and set us up with a tour that suited our interests the best!
This was my first experience with KimKim but certainly won't be my last! Chris was outstanding in helping us plan our trip to Greece and making it extremely memorable. I have already recommended him to several of my clients and will continue to do so enthusiastically! THANK YOU CHRIS!

We stayed at Avra Hotel Rafina on our last night before departing Athens. It was conveniently located (short drive back to airport), provided a free shuttle (drivers were quite helpful with luggage), and a nice view of the water/harbor. There were some authentic restaurants nearby for a late dinner, and was a safe place to go for a walk, even though we arrived quite late.

The Arcadion Hotel Room provided amazing views, easy walking to everything in town (restaurants, shops, historic monuments, and to fortresses). Bring a map or GPS to find your way around town as it is easy to get lost. The staff was very professional, helpful when assistance was requested, and watched our luggage dutifully for us on our last day and upon arrival (before check in was permitted). The internet signal was spotty but served our purposes.

Wow! When we arrived, there was no one else booked at the hotel so we got upgraded to the Chalet. We had direct contact with the staff who were SO friendly, giving us tips on where to go explore, must-see's, where to eat, etc. They fed us such a plentiful breakfast that we asked them to wrap some of it up for us to snack later. This turned out to be a good decision as we were so early in the season that restaurants had closed early in town and this gave us food to eat that night. The chalet was such a welcome luxury at this point in our trip! We had our own parking spot too! We LOVED the Zagori Suites!

The river was running at Class 1-2 rating, so it was an easy rafting experience. It was definitely a beautiful way to experience the gorge and the Voidomatis River without too much exertion. We had been hiking quite a bit, so this was a nice change of pace. Our guide and driver were fantastic and took plenty of pictures along the way for us.

For those who are experienced rafters, this is an easy ride. No class IV-V adrenaline rushes but beautiful views.

Our trip was wonderful. Our guides, Mario, Vincenzia, Paulina, Robi & Juro were awesome: professional, knowledgeable, informative, happy, interesting, & fun. We toured the towns of Zagreb, Zadar, Sibenik, Krka, Ston, Split & Dubrovnik. Plitvice Lakes & Krka National Parks were fabulous with spectacular waterfalls. I loved the islands of Hvar, Korcula & Lopud. We hiked along the Lopud cliffs with gorgeous views of the Adriatic Sea to a farm to table feast in a family’s home. The hosts were lovely, hard working people & great cooks! Spring flowers were in bloom everywhere adding to the beauty of Croatia. Robi was available by phone every step of the way of our 10 day trip to guide & support us. It helped me feel safe & comfortable during my first trip to Europe. The itinerary was packed with wonderful adventures. This trip was more than I could ever imagine it would be. The Croatian people are so friendly & welcoming. I will return to Croatia someday with KimKim & Robi’s assistance to plan my trip. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We wanted to see as much of the UK as possible, on our time of roughly 11 days in country and our budget. Stephen, primarily, and the High Point team did a great job planning. Thanks to you all.
One observation on the timing. On day 2 driving to Bath, Tintern Abbey and eventually, Cardiff, we really didn't have enough time to see Bath. By the time we parked near the city center in Bath, it was time to go to Tintern. I drove the speed limits for the most part. Bath was a suggestion anyway and we don't think not touring around town detracted from the overall trip. We especially liked the accomodations selected. VRBO-like places to the small hotels, we liked them all. Favorites were Juniper Cabins, Gwynfryn, and Six Brunton in Edinburgh.

My family and I absolutely loved our trip to Norway! A few major highlights and thoughts:
1. Our walking tour guide, John, walked us through Bergen and it was absolutely amazing. He gave us some really great suggestions of where to spend our free time in the city and an overall history of the city. We walked over 30k steps that day which was a record for many of us!
2. Our day full days in Aurland were the absolute best. Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri had the most amazing views over the water and was a dream come true for us, and their Gastro Pub was some of the best food we had on the trip. While we were in Aurland, we taxi'd where we needed to but if we could back and do the trip over, I think we would have added a day to the this portion of the trip and we would have rented a car in Bergen to get us there and give us more exploration freedom while in that region. The kayak and boat tour in the fjords were the absolute highlights of our trip!
3. Constitution day in Bergen was absolutely insane, I thought Americans partied hard so that was really fun to see and celebrate with them on that day. We were staying in the city center so we got a great view of all the festivities.

Overall, everyone was super welcoming and helpful when we needed it and it was an amazing trip. I'll definitely be using KimKim again in the future for more international trips! Christina was so amazing with answering all of my questions and keeping us in the loop while we were on our trip.
