I can not believe it has taken me so long to write this review! Two families with teenagers worked with Dimitris to plan a tour to Greece and it was amazing!! We did a mix of "must see items" and things that Dimitris recommended as a part of a local tour. We had an amazing time! Thank you!

First we were so skeptical cause we didnt know kimkim.com. Now that we are back, we have been recommending to everyone ! We had an amazing time. Everything was so well planned. Our destination specialist, Marta Trzeciakowska was amazing and did a great job in planning; reacting to our itinerary change requests, responded to any questions in a timely manner (very responsive), and available to assist when last minute coordination was required to unavoidable weather implications.

During our 9-day trip to Portugal, 3 days in Porto and 6 days on the island of Madeira, each and every planned event was amazing - a lifetime of memories. The guides who hosted our family of 7 on walking tours with various food tastings, wine tasting events in both the Douro Valley and Madeira, site seeing across the beauty of Madeira that included 4-wheel off road fun and mystical/magical views ...just cannot compliment enough on their fun personalities, flexibility, joy and laughter enjoyed by all.

Ce'lia Dias led a tour of Porto while raining, and yet the rain did not matter due to sites seen, fun and vibrant personality and flexibility due to late weather arrival.

Nelson spent about 8 hours with our family (7) leading the site seeing, wine tasting and family hosted meal through Douro Valley. What a day and the intimate experience of a meal and sharing Port/wine with a local experience was amazing.

While on the island of Madeira, two amazing day trips were enjoyed in 4-wheel drive vehicles (adventuremadeira.com) to Porto Moniz, Seixal's lava pools and Cabo Girao glass balcony with 580+ mt drop.... aaaaaahhhhhhhh. Francisco was our tour guide for 2 days and was Amazing - 5-stars!!! He was accomodating to needs of family members, flexible, so much fun and entertaining while throughout the events which also included a 4-wheel journey that was exhilarating and yet safe.

I can go on and on, Jacqueline led the family on a walking tour of the city market which concluded with a cooking experience which included savory food, wine, a delicious dessert and a chef who was skilled, artistic, creative and led us through a mouth-watering experience of delicious dishes.

This was our second trip planned and coordinated by Kim Kim. The first was a 9-day trip through Greece. Both have left us with lifetime memories and I highly recommend the organization as a trust worthy group with fantastic specialists and Services.

Working with Ashley at Kim Kim was a fantastic experience that led to a fantastic trip.

It was a last minute decision to go to Thailand and Ashley at Kim Kim made it come to life. It was so easy and quick, within 3 days, Ashley had created the perfect itinerary for me. She had provided a great itinerary originally and answered my questions in a timely fashion so that I felt really good about booking the trip.

The trip itself was fantastic because of all of the work Ashley had done and the great guides Kim Kim provided. At every destination, the guides and drivers were there to greet me. The hotels met or exceeded my standards. The amount of time I spent in each destination was "just right".

Both of my guides in Bangkok (Tanny) & Chiang Mai (Rung) made my visit to both places very special. They taught me about the culture, introduced me to new foods, and shared with me the history of their cities.

The entire trip was memorable, but some of the highlights were:
-evening food tour in Bangkok
-floating market & railroad market
-feeding & cleaning the elephants at an elephant sanctuary
-relaxing on a beautiful beach

I highly recommend using Kim Kim for traveling to Thailand.

What an amazing introduction to Morocco! We could not have been happier with our experience planning (and replanning due to Covid) this experience with Sharon. She was knowledgeable, patient and kind and became a friend during the process. When the trip finally happened, it was everything we had hoped for and then some. Yassine, our guide, was fantastic from the minute he met us at the airport. We got to see a bit of Casablanca before heading out to Rabat. From there it just kept getting better and better. The variety of trip, from the ethereal blue city of Chefchaouen, to the ancient Medina of Fez, to the GORGEOUS Sahara Desert, and the endless vibrant energy and colors of Marrakech….it’d be hard to pick a favorite part. Even the riads we stayed in were so far beyond our expectations….every single one. And even though Yassine was always full of interesting facts and insights, they also provided specialized local guides in some of the cities that guided us through back streets and ancient narrow passageways to tiny hidden local gems and old family shops we would never have found on our own. And we’re glad we did 2 weeks instead of only 1; there was SO much to see and do and it still felt like we were rushing. Two weeks allowed us to have a free day every now and then to just meander the streets on our own and get a better feel for the places. When we decided to take last minute Thanksgiving trip to Chile with our 4 kids (22 - 12)I wasn’t sure where to start. Fortunately we found Kimkim and Lorena!!! If you like adventuring and want to engage with the mostly lovely locals ever, this is your trip. Our day was a little windy so the athletic demand was higher than anticipated but so worth it. The lunch break at Yolanda and Juan Carlos’ farm was magical. Our kids (22, 18,17 & 12) had the chance to see up close the beauty of living in connection with the land. Walking around the property proved to be high on everyone’s list of favorite things on our amazing Chilean adventure.

Day Trip to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park

For our final day in Puerto Varas we hiked volcanos, saw waterfalls and toured a lake with no roads. Let’s just say it didn’t disappoint! It was our second day with our wonderful guide and driver team, Victor and Sandro, and we were all ready to explore. The mix of history, area knowledge and incredible beauty was remarkable. We toured all day and then went straight to airport in Puerto Montt to head back to Santiago. A great last day!

kimkim set us up with Alfonso, who did a wonderful job helping us plan our one week trip to Spain in November. We spent time in Barcelona, Cadaqués and Menorca and lucked out with only having rain one evening and temps in the low 60’s. In Barcelona we loved our bike tour and the tour of Sagrada Família. We also went to Parc Guél and did a tapas tour the last night in the Gothic Quarter. Our guide for the bike tour and tapas tour was George and he was very funny and knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Barcelona. In Cadaqués we did a 10 mile hike along the coast with Alfonso as our guide. It was a besutiful hike and the weather was perfect for it. Most of the shops in town are closed during this time but it was nice to have less crowds and just be able to explore the beautiful streets and relax. In Menorca we went on a horseback ride along the coast and had time to explore Ciutadella and Mahon. If I were doing it over I would save the island for a separate or longer trip because I would have liked more time in Barcelona. We wanted to see as much as we could though so we added it in. Overall kimkim was very easy to work with, very responsive and helped us set up and incredible trip for our family of four. We are already talking about where we might like to go next in Spain and would definitely use them again.

I enjoyed Sagrada Família the most because it is such an incredible sight. I recommend the guided tour because you learn so much more about why he designed things the way he did. You receive headphones so you can hear the guide without her having to shout. Parc Guél was crowded so I can’t even imagine how it is in the summer.

Wow, where to start? From the beginning of planning the trip, we had an amazing experience with Beatriz. She answered all of our questions super quickly and I really liked that the budget we discussed was stuck to, so there’s no surprises at the end when you get the invoice. We did a 10-day trip to Spain (Barcelona, Sevilla, and Madrid) and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We wanted a trip that we had planned events like a tapas tour, cooking class, museums trips, day trips, etc., but also enough time to ourselves to enjoy just waking around the cities and doing our own thing. I think our favorite parts were the tapas tour in Barcelona, the cooking class in Sevilla (the guides on this one were AMAZING, highly recommend), and the day trip to Toledo. Unfortunately, on the day we were supposed to go to a winery, I was not feeling well, but it was very easy to cancel because all of the information I needed was in the trip app. When we’re ready for our next big trip, we will certainly use KimKim again - we loved the ease of having everything we needed like train tickets, museum tickets, and phone numbers for important contacts right in the app at our fingertips. The location is great because you’re in an area that makes it easy to walk around the city. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly! As many hotels are in Europe, it’s older so the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on around you. So if you’re a light sleeper (like me!) bring ear plugs and maybe install a nice sound machine app on your phone. We had the free breakfast included, but ended up only using it once. I’d recommend walking down the street to the local market and grabbing something there instead. Overall, a decent place to put your head at night, but if you’re looking for a luxury stay, maybe look elsewhere!

The aesthetic is super cool - very eclectic wall paper in the rooms and carpeting in the hallways. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Walls we’re very thin and the room would get very hot at night, despite trying to lower the temperature on the AC. Bathroom was updated nicely, but there was no shower door in ours, just a long piece of glass, so water would get on the floor when showering. For what we were looking for on our trip (essentially a place to put our heads at night, shower, and change) it was perfect. If you’re looking for a luxury stay, this is not the hotel for you!

This hotel is in the heart of a large shopping district and in busy roads - so light sleepers beware! It’s also in a pedestrian area, so a taxi can’t drop you off right in front of the door. The room itself was fine, beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice and large. The shower was… interesting. Took me a few tries to master as there are multiple shower nozzles, a large shower head, and other odd features that were a bit confusing! The walls are paper thin, so again, beware light sleepers! The location was great to get around the city and if you enjoy shopping.

Tapas Walk in Barcelona

This was a great experience. We visited 4 separate restaurants and got to try at least 4 different tapas at each location and a drink of choice at each location. We had about 10 people in our group and the guide was really knowledgeable. There’s a lot of different options for the tapas but if you’re a vegetarian or don’t like seafood, this may not be a good experience for you as most options had meat or fish in them. Overall this was a great first experience in Barcelona and we loved being able to meet other visitors in our small group!

We had a lovely private tour of this estate and our guide, Sarah, was so knowledgeable about all of the different olive types and what they’re used for (eating vs olive oil extraction). The estate itself is beautiful and you get to see the modern day way they make olive oil as well as the ancient way they used to make it. The owner of the estate also has an impressive collection of old horse carriages that was an unexpected, but very interesting, addition to the trip. We ended up buying a ton of olive oil to bring home with us as gifts!

The show and experience was really wonderful, but since we were there on a Wednesday night, we were one of only a handful of attendees in the audience. This was a bit weird and felt awkward at first, but once the show started you forgot about it. The dancers and musicians were highly skilled and you could tell that they love performing. This may be a better experience on a weekend day assuming more people attend at that time.

Highly recommend this experience! The cooking class takes place inside the market and you do a tour of the market beforehand. The guide tells you about the local fare and what is in season. Then you get to cook with the ingredients that we’re discussed like saffron, purple garlic, and smoked paprika. Our chef, Dom, was so incredible! He was able to make a group of about 12 feel like a little family. He got everyone involved with chopping and cooking - everyone got a chance to be the star.

Overall, we had a great time in Morocco covering the imperial cities and the desert. Details below:

Online planning - Said and Abdel from Original Travels made it effortless to put together a schedule covering places and activities that we were looking for. They were very responsive and provided the right balance of options and flexibility in choosing places, hotels, activities, etc. This was our first time booking a packaged tour online, and we were very happy with the process. Said and Abdel put together an itinerary that allowed us to cover a lot of places and still give us sufficient time to explore places by ourselves.

The trip - The trip was amazing, covering the imperial cities with stopover in the desert and Atlas mountains. The itinerary and hotels/Riads selected by Original Travels were great - particularly the camp in the desert and the Riad in Marrakech. The local guides from Hafid in Fes to Hannan in Marrakech were knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured that we learned about the history and culture of the great cities. We were able to cover quite a bit of ground thanks to their encyclopedic knowledge of the amazingly complex Medinas.

But if we had to single out one individual who made our trip a success, it would be Faissal - a tour de force combination of driver, fashion icon, food critic, guide, and overall great guy! First and foremost, he provided safe and comfortable transportation getting us to places on time. But he was so much more than just that. He provided us with a lot of information about each place we drove through, picked out amazing places for meals, and would always point us to the best places for views and pictures. He kept us engaged and entertained, and was focussed on ensuring a great experience for us. He even saved the day by managing to retrieve my iPods that I had left behind in a hotel a hundred miles away. We highly highly recommend him!

We had an amazing 12 days tour in Ecuador. the beautiful landscapes around the highlands of the Andes, the adventure in Amazon rainforest basin and also the wonderful close look at diverse societies. we stayed 4 days 3 nights in La Selva Lodge, it is a nice place , suitable for most of travelers who are interested in adventure in Yasuni national park. From Quito to Cuenca, we visited some famous Catholic churches and most of the great places like Cotopaxi national park, Quilotoa Lake, the ruins of Ingapirca and Cacha, a small town in Chimborazo province. We had a wonderful trip to Milan. We decided fairly last minute to take a trip and Sonia was able to arrange a great itinerary for us. We were only in Italy a few days, but were able to do and see a lot. Our flight was delayed arriving, but Barbara Fussotto met us at the airport and ensure our transport was waiting. She was there to answer questions throughout the trip and was a great help. Our tour of the city center with Ester Ghezzi was a highlight. It was informative and enjoyable and Ester was a delight. Our side trips to Langhe and Como were great and the transport arranged made it so easy for us. Sonia's planning made it easy for us to just enjoy our time in Italy!

I loved my trip around the country of Morocco. KimKim proved to be a wise choice when I was thinking of traveling independently, yet wanted backup coordination. Through them I connected with Original Travels based in Morocco. Mohamad was excellent and his choices of accommodations were perfect. The entire team there at Original Travels were always so helpful in answering any question I might have. Very responsive.

While I enjoyed much of Morocco, my time in the desert at the Azalai Desert Camp was amazing! Just what I needed. Ayaub was so wonderful. He cooked and attended me as if I were family. A very thoughtful and kind man. All three guys overseeing the camp were great, but a special thanks to Ayaub!

Azalai Desert camp is something very special, very cool. Loved it.

My absolute favorite of all things about my trip was my most amazing, kind and capable driver Soufian. It was such a joy to see him every day. He is a natural, capable driver and I could not have asked for a better match. He and I. I loved his company and he totally took care of whatever need I had. Soufian arrived each morning with a smile and always right on time. He is the best! A perfect driver and a special man. A special new friend for sure. He MADE my trip amazing. Our 10 day tour around Morocco was amazing! What a beautiful country with incredibly nice and gracious people! Our tour itinerary - in summary: Tangier-Chefchaouen-Fes-desert camp at Erg Chebbi-Ait Ben Haddou-Marrakech-Casablanca. I want to give a special shout-out to our guide and driver Ahmad - who was with us the whole time. Not only did he have lots of useful and interesting information about all our tour stops, he was with us the whole time and was forever flexible and available to our changing needs as we went. He worked incredibly hard to make our trip special and was always perfectly pleasant, prompt, and professional! I would say the desert experience at Erg Chebbi/Merzouga area was the most unique of the trip - but all of our stops were memorable and all of our tour guides deserve special mention as well. Thank you Morocco and Kimkim!!

GREECE was a DREAM COME TRUE

Our experience in Greece was perfect, sure there were a couple hiccups here and there but for the most part we were very pleased.

* Sweet Home Boutique hotel was very small. Didn't really feel like a honeymoon stay. It was a tad bit underwhelming. We did have a nice view of the parthenon from our room so this definitely made up for the space. Also, we ran out of hot water the first night so that was a bummer. Otherwise this hotel was super cute and Aphrodite was a great hostess. Breakfast in the morning was delicious.

* Anastacios our tour guide was very pleasent! He took us through the Acropolis and was very informative. He did go off on a couple tangents and he mentioned how influencers just want to come and take pics so we felt a bit weird asking for a photo. We didn't get a chance to go to the museum. He asked if we still wanted to go but we opted not to since the Acropolis tour took so long.

*Ivis 4 Boutique Hotel - was definitely very fancy and probably the honeymoon stay we were expecting. We didn't have a nice view of the parthenon but otherwise it was very nice. It would have been nice to stay here a couple more nights.

Santorini
* Blue Dolphin was AMAZING. This definitely felt like the honeymoon stay we were hoping for. Since the moment we arrived in Santorini we were welcomed with such hospitality.

* Trail Guide Artemius, was AMAZING. He took us to Oia and took us to the Blue Domes. He asked if we wanted photos and even went as far as to take videos. All along the trail he told us about Santorini and its history. He told us about him and his family. He was such a pleasure!

* The Cruise was so much FUN. George and George were very nice!!

* Luxury Travel - i think this was the name of the driver company who took care of picking us up and dropping us off throughout our stay . Again sooo very nice and very reliable.

Pros: Our driver, Satish, was incredible and one of the best parts of the trip. He was always punctual, helpful, kind, and gave good advice. He was a careful and attentive driver, and I always felt safe though the driving conditions were very unusual for me.

The guides who led the spice tour and the Munnar hike were our favorites from the trip. Both were very friendly and their knowledge level was impressive. Also the spice tour guide did recommend his brother's shop to us and the prices were very reasonable.

Favorite activities were the cooking demonstration, the martial arts demonstration, both the jungle and mountain hikes, and the house boat. The destinations were all beautiful and interesting, and the hotels in Periyar and Marari were both wonderful.

Cons:
Though our tours in Cochin were all very informative and interesting, it was clear that our guide had some arrangement with the shops and tuktuks that he recommended. The interactions were uncomfortable and the prices very high (70 USD/5700 INR for a simply made skirt). After the first store, I was put off from shopping during the rest of the trip.

I felt unprepared with regard to tipping, as it seems a very complicated issue in India. There was no information on what to bring/how to dress, and so we were also unprepared for leeches and the more rugged hikes.

The Thattekad Bird Sanctuary is not worth stopping unless you arrive in the early morning, and the hotel in Munnar was challenging with regard the smell/cleanliness and lack of AC.

Overall it was a wonderful experience, and I plan to return to India in the future.

Hello...Let me start off by saying that we had the best time. I was very apprehensive about going to Guatemala and had a bad experience with the transfer I had booked. And so i decided to look for a service that will give me end to end experience and I found Catherina. She was amazing in understanding my requirements as we were a family with 2 young kids. she understood the requirements and also our dietary needs and planned an itinerary that will work perfectly. We went back n forth on the requirements and once the itinerary was nailed down I booked it. When we landed in hotel, the next day our Guide JJ arrived and picked us at the hotel for the wonderful flower festival. I must say that our trip would not be half as successful if we didnt have JJ as our guide. He was very prompt, always on time, helped interact with kids, made sure we enjoyed the activity we were doing, always gave recommendations that were perfect. Also all our transport were private...be the chicken bus, the boat or the car...all to our ourself :) which made the whole expereince very private and personal.
