Erin was fantastic. She took the time to ensure our holiday was seamless. Our driver, Artun, was outstanding as were our guides in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

It has been a very easy experience booking this trip to Nepal with KimKim and Erin.
As a first time traveler to Nepal and little time to plan I was well taken care off and the trip was conducted as planned and everyone of my pick ups has been on time and was well equipped and professional. The Hotel in Kathmandu was a treat and the hiking was well conducted and I always have been looked after by my guide.

Nepal is amazing and the weather luckily cleared up for all the highlights.

Our 4 day custom tour was nearly perfect. The only glitch was an early morning pick-up that didn't happen. I reached our contact person and we were instructed to hire a cab to deliver us to the pier (a 30 minute drive). I paid the driver $25.00 for which I was reimbursed 2 days later. All of our guides were professional, pleasant and very accommodating. Marielisa was our knowledgeable travel specialist and arranged quality tours, boats and helped with planning the itinerary. Thank you. KimKim helped to make our Galapagos Islands vacation the trip of a lifetime!

The process of booking was easy. But I was very disappointed in the tour. While the tour of Petra was a must-do, the price for the experience was not equal to the value. Our guide was nice and pleasant and stayed with us 2.5 hours. She connected us to a young friend to provide rides up the mountain. After she left, he tried to scam for more money. We finished our walk up and down ourself. The price of entry to the park, 2.5 hours of tour and a buffet lunch did not really equal the $185 in value.
I will not recommend this tour to any others.

Erin did a wonderful job of customizing my trip and staying on top of things, even during my time there. I had a lovely experience with my outings and my guides.

We arranged a driving holiday of the Peloponnese on the KimKim platform with Tasos as our local contact. We found KimKim to be an great way to organise our arrangements, find a local contact to make suggestions and the relevant bookings, and as a great communication platform both before and during our holiday. It allowed us to stay in contact with Tasos for any queries we may have had.

Tasos and his team at Travel 12 were excellent from start to finish. The arrangements made throughout our holiday were perfect with no problems along the way. The hotels and itinerary were exactly as we had hoped and having a local contact like Tasos really paid off. Tasos was attentive to our requests and was quick to respond to any communications. He even arranged for some belongings we left behind to be forwarded to another hotel along the way for us to pick up! Although we never met in person, on our final day one of his team visited us as we were waiting to go to the airport with a small parting gift. We could not recommend his service highly enough.

Mehmood and Habu were a great company and very helpful. They were very friendly and patient in guiding our big group.

Silvia and the team at Argentina / Chile on the Go are great. Silvia designed a 16 day trip for us to see the highlights of Chile including Atacama, Santiago, the Chilean Lake District, Torres del Paine and Easter Island. Everything went according to plan and without any hiccups. Thank you Silvia!

The trip was coordinated by Active India, which is your contact in India. It would have been good to understand this upfront. Bhupendra was an employee, who left AI part way through my planning process, but I wasn't told this upfront. I ended up dealing with three different agents with AI. In addition to that, AI doesn't provide any drivers or any guides outside of Delhi. They contract out for the drivers and hire local agents in each city, who then hire independent guides. Most of that went pretty smoothly, although in the final location, the guide questioned whether my trip included the payment into the sites. He was good about it, but that illustrates the challenges with the dissemination of the actual services so far down the chain. Again, it just would have been good to know that upfront, so that I could be prepared for how everything was to unfold. Overall though, the guides were very professional and I really liked our driver Prakash. They all did an excellent job looking after us.

2 great day trips in Morocco

1- Seti Fatma and the 5 waterfalls, rather energetic climb to the top went from 1500 at base to around 2000m , took 2 hours, with an extra guide that was NOT included in the price. Fantastic experience, followed by a lunch in a riverside cafe restaurant.

2: Agafay desert - amazing experience with a truly personalized tour, we were all surprised how 'desert like' the scenery being so near Marrakesh. Alot of it 'off road' , stopped for tea in a Berber tent. great trip

Our trip was fantastic. we were in Vietnam for 2 weeks total but 8 days were with the Grasshopper tour and they were definitely the best days of the trip. I especially loved being in the villages and meeting the people and seeing the details of community life. We passed by many towns and stopped to meet the villagers that were working in their homes, making baskets, cleaning rice, creating machetes, etc. the villagers were warm and welcoming.
The food on the trip was fantastic; the accommodations were excellent everywhere we went.
Our guides were excellent in both countries, An in VietNam and Hiang in Cambodia.
Hiang in particular really shared from his heart and included us in his personal world in a very special way. He was very knowledgeable about his country and spoke honestly and lovingly about all aspects of Cambodian life and history. I fell in love with the country.
Our final hotel nights in Siem Reap at the Jaya House were incredible. In my wildest dreams I did not expect a finish like that!
Regarding planning and communication in preparation for the trip I was not heavily involved, but from what I know our chief organizer Howard Schubiner found working with Adam very easy and helpful.

The trip was amazing, life changing experiences! Tendu was a great guide, so caring and knowledgeable. He was like one of the crew and made us all feel at ease.
I loved interacting with the people at all the villages and the other trekkers. The food, of course was great! The most memorable moments, were getting through those tough treks! It felt good accomplishing such hardship and finding you're inner strength & connection with nature.

Five stars is not enough! We gave Chris our wish list and he delivered with an amazing trip! Two weeks to see the best of Guatemala and Copan - accompanied full time by Pepian ( quite possibly the best guide EVER! ) We climbed Pacaya with local guide/amateur botanist Monkey and toasted marshmallows over the HOT lava rocks, saw the sun rise over temple IV at Tikal, shopped till we dropped at several markets, learned how to make tortillas and Pepian Chicken in Xela with local guide David, kayaked hiked and rode in boats around Lake Atitlan, and toured Antigua. Then my husband became ill and Chris and Pepian moved heaven and earth to get him to medical care and home. Now that he’s recovering we are hoping to finish our trip next year....... I highly recommend Chris and his team!

My daughter and I very much enjoyed the trip planned for us by Sylvia which met our interests and our budget. All of the tours were great (cacao farm, waterfall, hanging bridges) and the guides and drivers were excellent. Despite a bit of traffic noise, we also appreciated the lovely views at each of our accommodations. At our first resort near La Fortuna, we had a direct view of the Arenal Volcano, lush vegetation and colourful birds from the patio of our cabina. At our second resort in Tamarindo, we had a beautiful view of palm trees, the beach and the Pacific Ocean from the balcony of our low rise hotel. The staff we met at each resort were terrific and we spent many enjoyable moments chatting with them.

Erin and Emily from Dittmar adventures put together a superb and well-organised itinerary for us. Every day was memorable, from our trip to Estancia La Peninsula, to the W trek, to kayaking down the Serrano River and at the foot of a glacier. We will be sure to use KimKim again, and would particularly recommend the wonderful local specialists.

What a trip! We had a fabulous time with Pemba and the great team that looked after us from start to finish. We loved the fact that for the most part we were off the beaten track and had our own hike.

We took our trip to Nepal on our honeymoon. It was planned perfectly from beginning to end by Kripa. Our input was clearly received and our itinerary was curtailed to our wants and needs. We had a few changes made to our itinerary due to a hotel not processing our reservations, and the KimKim team made the necessary adjustments efficiently. We went on the Ghorapani/Poon hill trek, then stayed in Pokhara, Chitwan, and Kathmandu for a few days each. We really enjoyed our trek and Pokhara the most. We stayed at Temple Tree Resort in Pokhara and had an amazing time, beautiful hotel, great food, great bar, great staff, hooka available with your meal, spa attached to the hotel, very very nice! Understand that the accommodations during your trek are very basic, but all other accommodations will be nice.

KimKim had a great network of very nice people that helped transition us from place to place, from the guide, porter, cab drivers, and tour guides. Couldn't have had a better experience. We will be referring people to Kripa and Himalayan Trails/KimKim.

All went as planned... except I got sick, had to see a doctor a day before one of the trips to an island. I was told even though I called in advance, they would not refund my money for that day. She said the company who they contracted with said no, they would not refund it. I asked for the info of this company, supervisor, contact info, etc but I never received it. Very disappointing.

Great Vacation in Nepal. I spent twelve amazing days in Nepal. The main reason for my happy staying is the wonderful personalized itinerary prepared for me, by Sangita, a knowledgeable and perfectionist Local Tour Director. She asked me a few questions about my available time, my interests, preferences, priorities etc, and she designed for me the most amazing tour I ever had in twelve days.
