This was a return trip to Indonesia after a 10 year hiatus. We have been to Indondesia many, many times. I had not used or heard of KimKim before and so was a bit suspect and cautious, as it turns out, for no reason. I would recommend KimKim and Ana (at Shanti travel). Ana was extremely helpful in the planning of the trip. She was available for telephone consultations and created 4 different versions before we finalized the itinerary in order to accommodate each and all of our wishes. When I discovered errors in the plan she corrected them, and was available to us when we were on route. This does not mean that you as the traveller can abdicate responsibility for your travel details. There were changes in flights and times that I had to chase to ensure that we had the correct time. Ana was helpful throughout. We actually met with her in person when we were in Bali.
I was thrilled that each and all of our transfers worked. At each airport/train station/hotel (and there were lots of them) when a driver was supposed to pick us up they were there on time with a sign and /or my correct name and an appropriate vehicle. Drivers were careful and pleasant. Agung in Bali was particularly good.
With regard to the trip itself, the Kalimantan leg up the river to be with the Orangutans was wonderful. The Klotok was uber posh in an "out of Africa' glamorous way with a skilled knowledgeable naturalist guide, excellent cook, Captain and crew. We were happy to be a bit off the beaten path with our particular guide and while Camp leaky is not what it was 15 years ago i am glad to have made the trek again.
Other highlights: Paddling and hiking in the jungle with the naturalist in Munduk. Biking the rice paddies in Ubud. Making lunch the traditional way - starting by grinding the rice, and cooking over an open fire in the rice paddies. Temples on Java are well controlled now for good reason (too many people) but still fascinating as is Bromo. Lovina is beautiful and quiet and the drive over the mountains is spectacular.
Disappointments: 1.Not being able to get out to the Komodo islands as they closed the park because of weather. Ana was great in the rerouting. 2.In the rainy season in Indo the beaches are FULL of garbage as it flows down the rivers and into the ocean and onto the beaches. They have to be cleaned everyday or it is like walking through a landfill. When they are cleaned they are lovely. 3.We would give a hard pass on Jimbaran. Beach filthy, even in front of restaurants and beach clubs no one was cleaning the beach. The seafood dinner on the beach was pathetic. Did it 10 years ago and it was good - now it was really not edible and was stupidly expensive.
Overall: Indonesia has a LOT of people and a LOT of tourists and LOTs of traffic in populated areas. It is a fascinating country both culturally, historically and geographically. We love it. Go if you can and be confident getting Ana and KimKim to help you plan.

This hotel is clean and the pool is nice. The service in the restaurant is terrible to the point where some of our party left the restaurant because we waited over 30 minutes to get a simple soft drink. The location is across from the beach restaurants. We went to the one recommended and it was terrible - the worst food of the entire month long trip. The beach was filthy, like walking in a land fill. I would recommend giving Jimbaran a miss but if you do have to go there try somewhere else.

In a very strange place - small roads under construction - you may think you are not on your way to a 4.5 * hotel as you drive the 10 minutes from the airport but being hijacked. Never fear, the hotel, once you get there is just fine. Nice breakfast, very helpful staff, excellent reasonably priced massage and spa, good gym and swimming pools. Excellent shuttle to and from the airport. If you are just in transit for one night don't hesitate to stay there.

In my view is just a hotel for transit so not looking for character.

The guides and drivers were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. Each guide had different perspectives of Vietnam in general, which I appreciated. I especially enjoyed our visit to Mai Chau and Pa Co. Having lunch with a Mường family was a highlight for me. The homestay in Mai Chau, although chilly, was an experience. Our host provided nice, warm comforters and her meals were delicious. Kayaking in Halong Bay was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure as was bicycling from Hoi An to An Bang beach. Getting to see how the people live along the Mekong River and Mekong Delta was fascinating.

One of, if not the, most fabulous hotels I've ever stayed in! Absolutely beautiful. The bath & body products in the room are soooo nice I bought some to take home. I took pix of the shower so I can remodel mine like theirs- I loved the rough hewn herringbone tile, the shelf instead of a niche, and the horizontal drain, just in case you're curious what I found so special in a hotel shower! I hated to leave. I'll def stay here the next time I'm in Auckland.

Adherence to Itinerary: 5/5
Quality of local guides: 5/5

Overall Value: 5/5

As you can see from the ratings, we had a very positive experience with our trip arranged by KimKim. We used to plan our own trips and made our own itineraries to places like England, Greece and Japan in the past. We really enjoyed that ability to do what we wanted to do but it was a lot of work. We decided to try out a service like KimKim to see if we can still get a "personalized" itinerary but let someone else do the hard legwork.

Overall, the KimKim platform was very good. We filled out a detailed survey which helps them gauge what the traveler's preferences are and that helps them plan an itinerary to suit the individual traveler. They then come up with a proposed itinerary. We also did a little research and came up with a couple of places not on the original itinerary, and they were very flexible and easily incorporated our requests into the itinerary. The only drawback on the KimKim platform was when there were a couple of changes made and the platform did not keep up in a timely manner, which led to a little confusion. Our travel specialist was very helpful in clearing up any confusion arising from the website platform.

Our travel specialist Pilar did an excellent job working with us to personalize our travel experience. Our original plan was to visit the Galapagos Islands, but schedules did not work out with what we wanted to do, so Plan B was to explore Quito, the highlands of Ecuador, Cotopaxi and then fly to Cusco and make our way to Machu Picchu. However, a national emergency in Ecuador made us change our plans again, and we then made the trip exclusively for Peru as Plan C. On short notice, Pilar worked tirelessly with us to come up with a new itinerary that suited our needs. She was very responsive to questions, and readily available by phone or email.

We spent 3 nights in Cusco and visited the city, the local ruins in Sacsayhuana, the surrounding salt terraces of Maras and the agriculture terraces of Moray. Absolutely loved the city and all of the tours. Our guide Carlos was very informative and engaged, and sprinkled his discussions with lots of history and little bits of politics. At our request, Carlos took us to a local's market where we saw what the local population ate, wore, and shopped for. We saw stalls with over 20 different potato varieties, different exotic fruits and salted alpaca meat. The shopping was cheaper and better than in Lima. I bought an alpaca sweater and my wife purchased a couple of beautiful jewelry pieces at probably half the price we would have paid in the US.

We also visited Machu Picchu (MP) on a full day tour (i.e. - 4 hours). Since the pandemic, the Peruvian government has limited the amount of time visitors can spend at the site. We took Circuit 2, which is the longest circuit and the one that is probably the most comprehensive of all of the 4 or 5 circuits available to tour. Our guide Antonieta was fabulous. So very informative and with a dry sense of humor. She was also an excellent photographer, and we got pictures that we would never have gotten if we did not have her knowledge and help. MP certainly lived up to its billing as one of the new Wonders of the World. Just an impressive archeological site and with an equally fascinating story. Would recommend to anyone with interests in history, engineering, and the outdoors.

We ended our trip with a night in Lima and a city tour the following day. Lima is a bustling city of 11 million people. We stayed in Miraflores, which is the touristy (and safer) part of Lima. We strolled around the Larcomere shopping center, which reminded me of a high-end shopping mall in the US. We enjoyed the city tour comprising tours of the Lima Cathedral, the Aliaga house and the Larco Museum (lots of Inca and pre-Inca artifacts).

The hotels arranged by KimKim were all excellent. Our local tours and guides were provided by Lima Tours.
Transportation pickups were punctual, and the vans were clean and air-conditioned, which was a necessity in hot and humid Lima in February. It was such a pleasure to be picked up and dropped off at various sites and not have to worry about arranging transportation.

The food in Peru was excellent and above my expectations. We had breakfast buffets at the hotels and then usually had lunch or dinner on our own. The breakfast buffets are all full buffets, and on par with what you expect at 4-star hotels in the US. On our own, we tried the local fare like Andean trout, lomo saltado, alpaca tenderloin and yes, even cuy (sorry, squeaker). My wife still raves about the quinoa salad and Andean soup from Chull's in Cusco, and I had the alpaca tenderloin there (would rate 9/10). People talk about how Peruvian food is ascendant on the world stage, and I would wholeheartedly agree.

Overall, we had a fabulous time in Peru, and owe much of that to the itinerary and arrangements made through Pilar, Lima Tours and KimKim.

This was the first time we used KimKim, and we were impressed by the experience and will definitely use them again on our next adventure.

The breakfast was ok but the dinners we had were sorely lacking in quality. Such a disappointment compared to the other hotels in which we stayed.

Also, in the itinerary, the tours failed to indicate that they were only 2 to three hours long..not a full day. I think this clarification is important to your clients as it is now written in a somewhat deceptive manner. While the guide for the volcano tour was excellent..the tour per se is weak in that travelers are not allowed to reach the peak of the volcano.

For these reasons, I will have to book elsewhere in the future.

When we stayed here we didn’t have a car, but because Arenal Glamping is a 25 minute walk into La Fortuna to get groceries or to go to a restaurant, it’s best suited to people who have a car.

This is a nice hotel but isn't the level you might expect for a resort at a ski area. Rooms lack washcloths, bath matts, tissue box, coffee maker, fridge, extra pillow, and safe. Bowling doesn't open until 4 pm. If skiing is closed due to wind, not much to do. We were there when a huge real estate retreat was going on and the partying was out of control. However, you can runt skis, and the cross-country track is great, even for snowshoeing around the lake. Restaurant has limited menu that would get boring after 1 night. Town has some amazing restaurants.

This tour takes you on a packed bus more than an hour outside of town for dark skies. The staff are pretty quiet. Only went to one location. No guidance on where to look, what you're looking for, or how to take photos...that would help. A bit more narrative of a history of the area would help. Others on the trip stand in front of your pictures, use their flashlights, without regard to others.

Our trip to Morocco was fascinating! I did not have any interaction with Abdellah but my husband did and since he delegated us to Said we did have a conversation with him once. We had the opportunity to visit many different places with many different landscapes. We experienced the delicious cuisine of Morocco and got to meet some local people as well during our travels. Our trip began at the port of Tangiers where we were picked up by our driver Soufian. Soufian is a quiet but friendly and helpful person and he remained with us till the very end. We were driven to Chefchaouen where we stayed the night at Lina Ryad & spa. Our Ryad was clean and comfortable but climbing up a couple of flights of stairs was a little difficult. The bathroom needed a bit of maintenance though. Their breakfast service was unique and their staff were friendly and professional. From here we drove to Fes via Meknes where we stopped for lunch. At Fes we stayed at Riad Fes Nass Zmane. We were greeted by Ismail who gets top marks for his politeness and professionalism. Our room again was upstairs and climbing stairs was a bit of an ordeal. The room was well lit and comfortable but the bed was hard and the bathroom sink was not draining properly. We were asked to order from their kitchen and I have to stay their Pastilla was delicious. The first morning breakfast was served to the 2 of us on our table and was reasonable since we were the only ones staying at that Riad. The other morning a buffet was served which was way more sumptuous. Our guided tour with Mr Mohammad Hafeez was good and he was very enthusiastic and professional. Our dinner with Mr Said's family was very special but a word of caution to people who are claustrophobic and or have difficulty climbing stairs, it was a little harrowing getting up to their home. They were wonderful people though warm and welcoming. Their Harira was the best! The next day we went by train to Marrakech and it was very well arranged by our tour company. Although a fun experience in hind sight I might skip this one. Felt crowded in a" first class" cabin with 4 other people who kept changing as we reached different cities. We did encounter 2 young women who were very friendly and offered advice to things we should try while in Morocco. We were picked up by Soufian and then driven to Agadir. Our hotel seemed like we were in Europe and not Morocco. One front desk gentleman was rude and condescending but the others were helpful. The location of this hotel, Iberostar is what makes it amazing not the plentiful food which was average. The Berber souk was a great place to shop. Next we were in Marrakech. Palais Sebban is beautiful but our room was old and tired. The curtains were heavy and the cushions seemed to harbor allergens which started my incessant sneezing. The bathroom door was see through and did not offer privacy. Their breakfast could've been better. The cheese looked old and dry and their bread was hard. The best part was their fresh Msemen! Hannan was a good guide. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The next day we were to visit Ouzud waterfalls in Ourika valley. This excursion is not meant for people with physical limitations and we were not adequately warned what it might entail. Less than halfway through the walk up the mountain we had to abort it because was too dangerous for us to climb up much to our guide Mohammad's disappointment whose mother had prepared lunch for us. Her mother did come down to meet us which was delightful. The roads leading up to this place were under construction and we could witness people living in tents following last years earthquake, a sad event. I would have chosen another excursion instead of this one. Our driver Soufian was punctual and came the next day to drive us to the airport. All in all it was an unforgettable trip!

Great location. Beautiful in appearance. Hotel room looked old and tired. No privacy between bathroom and bedroom ( It was a see through wooden carved door). Not adequate lighting in room. Heavy drapes and cushions harbor allergens so people with allergies need to take anti histamines if they stay here. All Riads have stairs everywhere but not adequate support. Needs handrails on either side of stairs. Breakfast was average. Cheese seemed stale and bread was hard. Mesamen was fresh and great as were their juices.

We were unaware prior to embarking on this trip what it would entail. We had to abort this excursion less than halfway through. We were disappointed to not meet the Berber family for lunch. We also dealt with our friendly and "on time" and professional Driver Soufian [English Speaking] - who spent a number of days driving us all over Morocco.
Guides Hafiz (in Fez) and Hannan (In Marrakesh) added to our knowledge of the History and Monuments that we saw.

It was a Riad with the most Beautiful interior we had yet seen in Morocco. It felt like we were moved back in History and time. It's location with respect to the Central Square Jemaa el Fna is prefect. Access to Qutubia Mosque was also convenient. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We would have preferred a bit more lighting or brightness level in our room -- but it was what it was. Dim lights. This Riad did not have a TV in the room - but the internet Wifi was strong - so who needs TV.

Agadir

It is like any good hotel in the USA -- to come here after your stay in various Riads of Morocco, one feels a great sense of relief. You can breathe, eat, walk. Everything functions as it is supposed to. Large verandahs, great views, access to the Boardwalk Promenade and of course to the Beach and the sea. There is not much to do in the town itself. Shop the Souks and Handicrafts. The hotel does exchange your money to local Moroccan Dirhams - a great convenience for a bit of loss for the convenience. Taxi is available at the front door, so one does not get the feel of being trapped, like in Caribbean resorts.

Stunningly Beautiful. Great Location for the Fes Medina access. Decor inside the hotel and the room is great. Not the fault of the hotel - but a stale putrid smell is present in the streets of the Medina the hotel is located in. Inside the hotel no problem - but you can fell it the moment you step out in the street.

As it is all over Morocco, the stairs, the banisters are never to international standards. You will find that steps and staircases are uneven . The Bathroom sink merely tolerates the sink faucet spout to run at a trickle, whether it is blocked with muck or it is kept to work like that to conserve water is unclear. Our room was Named "TULIP" -- avoid this room because of faulty plumbing. No luggage stands in the room.
Lina Ryad & Spa
Chefchaouen

This Hotel Deserves a Full 5 star rating EXCEPT for -- see below. It is ideally located -- Near the central restaurant area of the Chefchaouen, and also car transport when coming into the city can drop you real close to the entrance of the Riad. It is really beautiful and clean inside and well staffed. No worn out or excessive draperies etc. It had a pool and other miscellaneous services (like Hammam) are probably available- we did not use them. Excellent Breakfast and Breakfast nook with a real log fire. As Riads go -- one encounters narrow and sometimes winding staircases with triangular steps to navigate curves and turns in the stair case. Something to make note of as it may be physically challenging for some. (This is something common to many Moroccan hotels) The one thing I didn't like was how our luggage was handled. The Hotel sent personnel to take our luggage from the car to the Hotel reception for which they get 10/10- but instead of putting suitcases in a luggage cart, they simply lugged our suitcases over stone lined cobble stone streets - like conducting a Consumer Reports Stress test of our luggage wheels. Thud Thud, rutt tutt rutt thud - Definitely not worth it -- if your your luggage wheel breaks off -- the rest of your Moroccan and return journey across airports will be "Hell" with broken off wheels. We saw in other places in Morocco how Hotel staff does use Luggage Carts to carry your suitcases.

This was a sabbatical that we planned one year in advance. We love South America but had never been to Patagonia. We decided to spend a couple weeks there and spend a few days in Buenos Aires as we made our way home. It was AMAZING!

Planning the trip with Erin was a lot of fun, and Nara was also very helpful. The originally proposed itinerary was great, but we made a few tweaks to make it even better. We told Erin we like to be active during the day (hiking, biking, etc.), stay in really nice hotels, and drink great wine. We did all of those things and more!

During our trip, we stayed in six different cities: Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine, El Calafate, El Chalten, and Buenos Aires. Our transfers were very reliable. We appreciated kimkim's responsiveness when we had flight delays to ensure our driver was notified.

Punta Arenas - We liked Hotel Boutique La Yegua Loca. It was quaint, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. The highlight was traveling by boat to Isla Magdalena to visit the penguin colony.

Puerto Natales - The Singular Patagonia was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. It was truly incredible. We loved our room and view, as well as the hotel bar and restaurant. The only hiccup we experienced was some confusion over logistics to get to the departure point for the boat tour excursion to visit the park and glaciers. There was not a pick-up, and we had to walk to the dock, which was 15 minutes away. Having to walk wasn't a problem, but we were a little late--just glad they didn't leave without us!

Torres del Paine - We thought it was a great idea to drive up the western side of Torres del Paine since we would eventually be staying and hiking on the eastern side. Our driver and guide were terrific. We stopped numerous places (waterfall, views, etc.), took photos, and learned about geology and wildlife. The Hotel Las Torres was fine. Our room was small but comfortable. The bar and restaurant were okay. Access to the trails was the selling point. The hike to Las Torres Lookout was easily self-guided but challenging; the views are weather-dependent, and seeing the glacier lake was worth the effort.

El Calafate - The Kau Yatun Hotel & Estancia was nice. They had an assortment of tasty food for breakfast, and we enjoyed cocktails and dinner of guanaco in their restaurant. The hotel has bicycles to borrow, which is helpful, as it is a pretty far walk to the main drag in town. Taxis were also available. Kimkim warned us that obtaining pesos was necessary but challenging; therefore, we sought that out immediately, but it was not easy. Banks closed early afternoon; the money exchange office ran out of pesos. We ended up having to go to a restaurant "back office" for an off-market change of money. It was interesting to learn that the exchange rate for American large bills ($20 and larger) was more favorable than that for small bills. We got a kick out of the Yeti Ice Bar (cheesy but fun). The boat trip to the glacier was lovely. Unfortunately, due to the proximity of icebergs, we were unable to dock and go to the balcony overlooking Perito Moreno Glacier.

El Chalten - It was fun to stop in Leona on the way to El Chalten. We enjoyed stretching our legs and learning about the historic spot. We appreciated the support we received from kimkim when we asked to do different guided hikes (one of us was still recovering from ankle surgery); one of us went to Laguna de los Tres and the other to Laguna Capri--both were great experiences. Both hikes could have been self-guided, but we liked our guides. One benefit was being dropped off at the north end of the Laguna de los Tres trail, which cut down on back-tracking. Mount Fitz Roy and the Fitz Roy Range are spectacular. On our last day, we hiked up to Mirador de los Condores, which offered fabulous views. Destino Sur Hotel was great, and we loved the town. We took advantage of the hotel's bikes so we could ride around town; there are no Ubers. We enjoyed beer and nosh at La Cerveceria and cocktails and wine at La Vineria. A local folkloric group performed a few tunes for us while we were dining at both Oveja Negra and Fuegia, which was a special treat. We had a blast riding mountain bikes 23 miles from Lago del Desierto to El Chalten. It was gravel the whole way with a few hills and a lot of tailwind and gusts. We stopped often because it was just so beautiful.

Buenos Aires - We were a little disappointed when we arrived a the Duque Hotel Boutique & Spa in the Soho neighborhood. Our room was quite small, and there wasn't anything special about it; however, we received exceptional service from the staff. They helped us plan our free days in Buenos Aires with an estancia excursion for the full "gaucho experience" with a brief nose-to-tail horseback ride, asado, and folk music, as well as a boat trip to the Tigre district. Due to a strike, our flight home was delayed until 3A. It was very kind of the staff to allow us to shower in the spa after we had checked out so that we would be more comfortable traveling home. We really enjoyed riding around Buenos Aires on bikes with a guide and ending with charcuterie and a wine-tasting. We were disappointed in the sub-par dinner at Viejo Almacen but absolutely loved every minute of the tango show afterward. There were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We especially liked Nicky Harrison--fantastic sushi in the front and a step back in time at the speakeasy tucked behind the restaurant.

The itinerary created by Holden was perfect, just the right amount of excursions paced just for us. As an aging backpacker (lol) I'm used to cramming in as much as possible and hit the ground running, this trip fulfilled all my expectations and then some. We got a taste of Costa Rica, without feeling overwhelmed and can't wait to go back! I'm still surprised that everything went so smoothly and completely stress-free, we just needed to show up to our reservations on time plus communication with Wilman, our local contact via Whatsapp was super helpful.

All the tours were great, ( MĂstico Arenal Hanging Bridges, Ocean Kayaking, Kuna Vela sailboat, Children's Forest Night Walk, Cloud Forest hike) the tour I enjoyed the most was the Manuel Antonio National Park Guided Hike with Luis, granted it was our first tour but our guide was so knowledgable and helpful, we saw more in 1km than I would have every expected; Arenal Hanging Bridges guide, David, was also amazing at pointing out animals/plants and helping with photos.

All-inclusive with great view of the bay. Very kid-friendly. We stayed in the hotel section, which had it's own parking lot, view of the bay overlooking the main pool and buffet restaurant (dinner/breakfast was fine but they ran out of food so sometime you were waiting) Staff was nice, my Spanish is rusty so they were patient and kind. Cocktails were inconsistent but it's free so not complaining. They have a lot of on-site activities (like movie night by the pool, dancing lessons) and beach shuttle. Note: need to go to the pool by the wet bar to trade in your towel card, open til 5pm. In the hotel, we didn't see elevators, it's not hard to navigate the stairs but just a note if you have heavy suitcases :) Driving in Entrance is split by two booths, one for Condovac on the left and Villa Sol on the right.

This place was a dream. Don't leave during sunset, the views are amazing. We had the honeymoon suite, which was huge and the balcony made my life. Wish we had more time here to check out the indoor pool and canopy tour but next time! Note: Take the hotel shuttle or drive, everything is uphill; or walk, your calves will look amazing afterwards.

Kuna Vela was great time! The staff was helpful, they even took some photos on the beach and on the boat. Originally, when we booked it we thought we were going to a snorkeling site but with the recent rainstorms, they recommended going to Huevos Playa where we could check out the caves AND do some snorkeling. It was a great alternative. We spent an hour on the beach, checked out the cave (we didn't get to walk to the other beach but it was still good photo op and great timing cause after 45min there were waves and the tide was definitely coming in), they gave out some snorkel gear and noodles to float, some people saw a turtle, lots of fish. Then we took the dingy back to the sailboat, plenty of food, offered lots of drinks, relaxing sail back, saw some dolphins, flying fish, birds, birds, birds, and a manta ray.

I'm terrified of heights and had to do the 7-course zipline! I would recommend the Sky Adventure Sky tram + Zipline tour, we had a nice ride up the skytram, where the guides made small talk about a little history of Arenal and some biodiversity facts. The only way down was going through the 7 ziplines (1 intro, 5 long, 1 short to the finish line), our group made it through fairly quickly and with ease. The guides did a great job distracting us during any hold ups or waiting on line. I felt very safe and comfortable, even when I was terrified. This was for sure a once in a lifetime experience for me, I even bought the photo package.

I was nervous about kayaking the ocean waves but our guide was kind and patient, he explained the schedule and we were off! It was basically a straight shot to the snorkel area, we had good time, it was a bit cloudy but we saw some cool fish and starfish. Our guide tried to point out as much as he could but it was a bit cloudy and here was just some fish (at the time, and I was admittedly a little distracted with the low tide and avoiding rocks). The snorkel gear was basic and I couldn't get my life jacket out of the way (lol) but it was a good kayak, swim, fruit snack, and then kayak back, hop in the shuttle and drove to the tour's restaurant for casado lunch.

The nearby restaurants offered the best Tapas ! Next, our driver Jesus was exemplary! He was kind, knowledgeable, friendly , punctual, professional and above all a safe driver. Our stay in Cordoba at NH Amistad hotel was comfortable and the visit to the Mosque/ Cathedral was great. Our journey to Granada with Jesus was very enjoyable and informative. Our hotel in Granada Eurostars Catedral was good but we had to change rooms because the one given to us at first was on the ground floor and backed into a street with a bar which made it very loud. The other room was small and cramped on the first floor but quieter. Our visit to Alhambra was fascinating but began with a hiccup. We were advised to get to the location at 11.45 am but after 12 noon we had to call to ask why our guide was still not there. Unbeknownst to us the time of our tour had changed but we had not been informed. Sara our guide was good. Our trip to Tarifa with Jesus was great and the ferry ride to Tangiers went very well. It was good to have the tickets for all our excursions and ferry ride in hand instead of standing in lines. The weather was perfect for us although now we hope Spain gets some rain soon as the locals are praying for it. All in all a wonderful experience!
