AMAZING! We will definitely use KimKim again and again to help plan our vacation. We had very limited days in Ecuador, about 7 days. Lucia did an amazing job customizing our travel itinerary to include all of the things we wanted to do, like a food tour to experience the most typical and traditional dishes in Ecuador. She also helped us plan our adventure in the Amazonian Rainforest. Lucia took care of booking the hotels, transportation, and tours. Thank you! This gave us such peace of mind and we were able to really enjoy our vacation.

Hello Daniel, this trip was quite an adventure. My favorite place was the Napo Cultural Center. I loved traveling the river in boats, the clay lick, the tower, our guide, Marcelo, and the wonderful staff.
The travel in the Andes to volcanos, caldera, etc. was beautiful and interesting. I don’t like moving hotels every night and some of the drives were too long. Our guide, Jorge, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed having him with us. Two hotels stand out for me...in Quito the cultural Manor and CotopaxiPungo were both beautiful and interesting. The drive to the Cotopaxi Pungo was too rugged and long.
In the Galapagos, Bibi was excellent and then we had a mixture of guides. I would have appreciated more advance knowledge about the experiences, especially the trip to Bartolom, which I wisely skipped and would have been too much for me. Some of us went to Tortuga Bay which was very nice and should have been offered as an alternative. The hotel Deja Vu was nice, friendly and very well located. We all enjoyed it. (Ps...I was the oldest person in this group of 7)

Our trip to a Portugal was incredible. Patricia helped us a plan a very memorable two weeks. Our guides and drivers were all very knowledgeable and prompt which added to our experience. The trip may have been expensive however it allowed us to do more than we could have on our own. Portugal you are a beautiful country.

Overall, I would recommend trip planning through Kimkim and if that travel involves Spain, Marina is definitely a top notch choice. The hotels and experiences were first rate. My daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves. My only issue and that's why the rating isn't a 5 is the inability to make changes once the trip started. I was told that we could have some flexibility but unfortunately, any change always involved a fee. I feel there should have been better communication about which hotels and airfares were locked in.

Our trip was amazing. All of the hotels were nice. Our drivers were always on time. The guides were very good. I would use Kim Kim again!

I wish I could give Kimkim and our travel specialist Nikola more than 5 stars. Everything about my trip to Croatia was terrific - start to finish. I usually plan family trips on my own - researching destinations (Kenya, Tanzania, France, Spain, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, etc), figuring out where to stay, what to do, and where to eat. This time, I traveled alone to Croatia. I needed to plan the trip quickly, and did not want the burden of having to rent a car. So after reading many wonderful reviews online about Kimkim decided to take a chance and book through them. Nikola was very attentive from the start. Once he figured out what kind of trip I wanted, he planned every last detail - private airport transfers, private tours, and beautiful hotels. He even suggested restaurants along the way. I could tweek anything I wanted. I decided to upgrade two of the four hotels he originally suggested, but when I look back on it, I probably didn't need to do that. All of his suggestions were spectacular. I will absolutely use Kimkim to plan future travel, and have already recommended the company to many of my friends.

Antonia organized the trip I took to Croatia with my friend. From the beginning she was cery helpful with every step! When I arrived in Zagreb a driver was waiting for me at the airport and when I arrived at the hotel they already had all information on a serious food allergy I noted in advance. My friend and I had a driver named Ivo who drove us from Zagreb to Zadar and then to Split. He was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas. The hotel we stayed in when in Split (Villa Toni) had the friendliest front desk representative. He ensured we had everything we needed, presented us with a wonderful breakfast each morning with items we mentioned we liked and he was aware of our our itinerary. We had a personal boat for a day when in Split and the skipper named Stipe was very nice and took us all around (Blue Lagoon etc ) for 8 hours! When we arrived in Hvar there was a personal driver who took us around to parts of the island we didn't even know existed. Wonderful seeing all areas of the island. We finished our tour in Dubrovnik and stayed at the wonderful Hotel More. I would definitely recommend Kimkim and Antonia! Antonia went above and beyond helping us tweak our itinerary as needed during our trip.

This was one of our best trips to Europe. Croatia is a beautiful country and Robi made this trip memorable for us. The guides that we had starting with Bruno, Pero, Antea were top notch each one of them were experts in their field. Robi planned a special boat trip for us and we got glimpses of Dubrovnik from the coast which was the highlight of the trip.
I am very satisfied with this trip and will recommend it to all my friends and families.
Robi treated us like his guests and not clients and he inculcated the love of Croatia within us. This is invaluable to find. The customizations, the impromptu requests all were met smilingly and without any complaints.

I loved the staff, but I wasn’t sure were else to mention this: the reception opens at 9am, and this is a problem when your flight leaves at 8:30am and you need to check out and pay the taxes on your room. Who I think was the owner did come down and open up early for us, but we had to get one of the breakfast staff to call her and explain our situation.

Super nice location and big rooms! Felt very luxurious. If you are big on cocktails however, the bar only makes a few of the common ones and they were not as good as we could find other places. However, the food and local drinks were very enjoyable! The pool is also very very nice. There is AC in the rooms, but it is only turned on when you are currently in the room. This is how it is all over Greece from our experiences.

SPECTACULAR! This was the coolest experience. The couple was so authentic and very hospitable and friendly. Our translator was super sweet and very knowledgeable. What was so cool with to me was that the translator (as the couple speaks no English) and the couple were actually good friends. It wasn’t just a job to either of them, they all would have been enjoying each other’s company without us being there, so it was like we were invited to a friends house for a casual but fun and delicious meal.

Emanuela did an incredible job planning this trip to Iceland for my family! She was super helpful and insightful about appropriate activities for myself, sister and dad. She was very professional and listened to our request and needs, and ultimately guided us in the right direction. We had a blast on the snowmobiles, forest lagoon, blue lagoon and glacier walking tour. We were provided an extremely detailed itinerary with where to go, the history behind the places and restaurant recommendations. There was a minor hiccup at a hotel, but Emanuela was reachable and helped solve the problem right away. We requested higher end hotels and only the ones in the main city of Reykjavik were exceptional. The others were a little run down compared to what we asked for, but that may be due to the remote towns we were in. Overall, we had a great experience.

The most incredible activity we had. The company was extremely organized and made everything easy. We spent a decent amount of time snowmobiling, so we were all really happy. Would definitely make this a most on people’s itinerary.

It was really beautiful but extremely windy and a little hard to drive.

The whole process from first contacting Daniel at Kimkim to discuss the itinerary through to arriving back home at the end of the holiday was as seamless as it could have been. Daniel was super responsive throughout and always happy to talk through any changes to the itinerary we wanted, and the guides/drivers we had in Ecuador were similarly super helpful and friendly (Danny, Francisco, Segundo and Pablo).

All the accommodation booked was exactly what we wanted (the Huayna Capac suite at the Luna Volcan adventure spa in Banos was particularly amazing) and all the activities were excellent (horse riding in Cotopaxi national park was a favourite of the kids, despite the weather). There was a lot of travelling during the holiday but the vehicle Daniel booked was perfect and spacious for a family of four.

Iberia airline were awful throughout but that's nothing to do with Kimkim and in fact Daniel helped a lot by finally getting Iberia to return our luggage which they lost. So if you want a reliable tour guide I would recommend Kimkim.

We only stopped here because it was en route to our final destination but so glad we did as it was fascinating to get a personal tour of the farm and amazing lunch.

Our family of three returned last week from a truly phenomenal experience in Iceland, planned by Emanuela Grieco for KimKim. The process of planning the trip with Emanuela was entirely smooth - we worked through some adjustments after her itinerary was developed, and she incorporated our input at every step. Once we got on our way, we found the GoogleMap links to be particularly helpful on our driving days. While we did have a few very busy and long driving days, overall she planned just the right amount of activity in each day and the distances were manageable. Working with Emanuela saved our busy family a ton of time, resulted in an itinerary that we never would have produced ourselves, and and was worth every penny!!

Our itinerary that gave us sufficient time to explore Reykjavik at the beginning of our tripo, returning 3 mornings in a row to Braud & Co. for incredible pastries right near the Hallgrimskirkja. We had a really lovely dinner at Snaps, befriended a friendly Icelandic cat, and visited the Settlement Exhibition at the Reykjavik City Museum. She booked a helicopter ride over the volcano fields that left our 9 year old son's jaw on the floor, and a whale watch that enabled us to see 5 species of marine mammals. On our third day we left the city and toured the Snaefellsnes peninsula, having a very nice traditional Icelandic lunch at Langaholt Guesthouse & Restaurant on the south coast right after the Ytri Tunga Beaches. Further along, we joined a tour of a series of subterranean lava tubes left behind 8,000 years ago during a volcanic eruption. All around the peninsula, we kept trying to count waterfalls but there was so many it was impossible! By far our favorite hotel was FossHotel in Reykolt with lovely hot tubs and a quiet setting after a long day of travel. The Golden Circle is a "must do" but the sites along the way were (not unexpectedly) crowded and touristy - parking was a challenge at most stops. An unexpected find was the small, easily accessible Fitjarfoss waterfall off the 52 Road on the way to the Thingvellir Visitor Center from Reykolt. [Careful - there is more than 1 Reykolt in Iceland!]. After staying outside Selfoss, we traveled to Vik and along the way stopped at incredible waterfalls, fed bread to the friendly Icelandic horses and stumbled upon a film being shot on location at the Kvernufoss waterfall - a lesser known and much less crowded site than the incredible Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The Seljalandsfoss was awesome - our son loved the "pouring rain" and walking behind the falls. We had 2 perfect kid-friendly dinners in Vik at the Black Sand Pizza Company and Smidjan Brugghus and stayed at Hotel Kria, which had a great breakfast. Emanuela booked us a horseback ride along the black sand beaches the evening we arrived in Vik, and the next day she sent us out on a whirlwind day including a glacier hike on the near the Skaftafell Visitor Center with Troll Expeditions (Tina was a highlight for our son) and an amphibian boat tour of the Jokullsarlon Glacier Lagoon. The late afternoon sun light shining through drifting glaciers was gorgeous, and harbor seals were everywhere. On our last day we drove from Vik to Grindavik for an ATV tour over the lava fields and a final night at the gorgeous Silica Hotel, where we sampled the Blue Lagoon and had sandwiches at the hotel for dinner. The Blue Lagoon is absolutely worth, even if only for a strange, other-worldly experience and people watching!! Relaxation was more easily achieved in the smaller private lagoon of the Silica Hotel.

The overall experience was 5 stars. Karin’s direct experience and knowledge of Spain provided invaluable information in making decisions about the itinerary of the trip. The interactive application provided by Kimkim during the trip was extremely useful to review daily plans and verify trip details.
