Our hotels were fantastic — the hotel in Paros was beautiful, and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. In Santorini, we had a little hiccup with our first room, but the hotel quickly switched us and everything was perfect after that; the views were absolutely breathtaking.
Their attention to detail and support made our trip truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

I’m also glad you loved the hotels and that the team in Santorini took great care of you. Your highlights sound amazing, exactly the kind of memories we love helping create! The Santorini sunset cruise seemed to emphasize a lot of drinking - not our style really - and we would have preferred something quieter. The cruises both advertised that we would have beach time, but we were only offered swimming around 300 feet away from a beach. The cruise in Mykonos had wonderful food, but the Santorini cruise had mediocre food and drink.
The hotel in Santorini (Ducato) had dangerously dim lighting and unmarked interior steps. We shared a patio with the workers, and they left trash bags and smoked until we asked the front desk to ask them to stop. The view was gorgeous, though!
The first hotel in Athens was delightful, the second (Achilleus) was adequate. In Mykonos, the pool was really nice.
Food walk in Athens was great (it was just the two of us and the guide) and the Crete village tour likewise. Hotel breakfasts ranged from good to wonderful.

Ducato di Oia Boutique Hotel
Santorini

The Ducato di Oia Boutique Hotel in Santorini had some beautiful aspects, like the lovely patio and the plunge pool, which provided great relaxation. However, the room had some dangerous steps that were not well-marked, making it hard to navigate. We also had an unpleasant experience due to cigarette smoke seeping into our room from the staff break room nearby and garbage bags stacked right outside our door, which was odd. Despite these issues, the location was undeniably beautiful.

Sweet Home Hotel
Athens

Sweet Home Hotel in Athens was my favorite accommodation during the trip. It had so much charm, and the people there were incredibly welcoming. The room offered a marvelous view of the Acropolis, which was spectacular. The only downside was that it was a bit on the small side, but overall, the experience was delightful with a great neighborhood to explore.

We had a wonderful trip. Each and every stop was unique and interesting. From urban settings to small towns and even the seldom traveled Shetland Islands, the scenery was beautiful. We found out many new and unknown facts about England and Scotland and their rich and interesting history. Our guide Paul, in London was very knowledgeable about all things Beatles. When we got to Edinburgh Robert gave an excellent walking tour of the city and told us many stories of unknown facts about events that have occurred in the town. From there we headed out into the country where we received gracious hospitality at all of our lodging stops. We were especially happy with our stay on the Isle of Sky and also the Shetland Islands. When we arrived in Lerwick Lara gave a wonderful and car tour of the town and some other historical sites on the Island. She was interesting, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We all enjoyed the day with her.
After the Shetlands we head back to London for some more rich history tours with Angie and Tracy. The walking tour to the Buckingham Palace was interesting and Angie was full of fun facts about the Royal family and the traditions. Tracy took us on a Black cab tour of London. Tracy was also interesting and knowledgeable. She took us to some local shops and eateries unique to London. She was great as well and we enjoyed our day with her. We could not have had more fun. Stephen you kept us busy and entertained. It was better than I imagined it could be. Thank you for the great planning and great guides!

Thank you so much for your wonderful note — it absolutely made my day. I’m delighted to hear how much you enjoyed every stop along the way, from the bustling streets of London to the windswept beauty of the Shetland Islands. It sounds like you truly experienced the full spectrum of what makes England and Scotland so special.

I loved hearing that Robert’s walking tour through Edinburgh was a highlight — he has a gift for bringing the city’s history to life with those quirky little-known stories. I can just imagine the four of you relaxing afterwards at Tigerlily, perhaps reminiscing later over your elegant afternoon tea at the Signet Library!

It also sounds like you made the most of your time in the Highlands — the whisky connoisseur in Blair Atholl would have been thrilled to share his knowledge (and perhaps a dram or two), and your 4x4 adventure through the Cairngorms with Steve must have been truly unforgettable. He always runs a great experience.

I’m so glad the mix of guides — Paul, Robert, Lara, Angie, and Tracy, and all the others— helped bring each stage of your journey to life, each in their own unique way. Thank you for being such engaged and good-humoured travellers; it was a real pleasure to plan this adventure for you all.

Our trip to Morocco was beyond anything we could have expected. The people, culture, food and shopping were all amazing. Ali and Siad were both excellent to work with, but the highlight of our trip was our driver Faissal. Faissal went above and beyond in all ways to make sure we were happy, well taken care of and had the best trip we could. Faissal is professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, very concerned with your wellbeing and happiness on the trip and of course a great bargainer when it comes to shopping. He made restaurant recommendations, adjusted the trip (sometimes at the last minute) to make sure we saw the best of Morroco, made sure we saw the best sites and shopping and made sure we always got the best price.

Our guides were all excellent as well. Mohamed gave us a once in a lifetime food tour in the old Medina of Marrakech.

Adbu was very informative during our tour of Marrakech and took us to some amazing shops where Faissal of course got us the best deals.

Sharif was one of the best guides I have ever had in all my travels. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Fez, extremely patient with our shopping (with Faissal for bargaining!), has excellent English and provided us with a world class day in Fez.

Faissal made last minute arrangements for Abdul to show us Meknes. Thank you Faissal! Adbul's knowledge was only matched by his energy. He gave us a great tour of the mausoleum and market of Meknes.

Fatima is a world class guide for sure. Having grown up in Chefchaouen, she showed us all the points of interest and explained the history of the city in near perfect English.

Faissal came through again with a last minute tour of Akchour and the Ponte de Dieu with Omar. Omar has been hiking that area for years and it was a great way to break up our drive from Chefchaouen to Tangiers.

Again, we had an absolutely unbelievable trip to Morocco and could not have asked for a better driver than Faissal. He truly made our trip one we will remember forever!

Initially we had a shaky weather forecast however the motto of this group is to go no matter what and we can't be more thrilled. While we started out with a little rain, Robbi adeptly moved our group through the day to make sure we were under cover at just the moment the weather hit. Better than that, we were wine tasting watching the big storm move in. From that point forward we had beautiful weather . Robbi showed us the best spots for a swim or hike, best food in the small fishing villages and he knew exactly when a rain storm was going to impact our bike ride. (We literally landed at Robbi's spot for lunch as the clouds opened up. )
Robbi has superb talent in remembering and telling jokes, while also demonstrating a deep knowledge of the history of Croatia, the land and sea.

Some of the transportation didn't run as smoothly as planned but that happens and it all worked out in the end. The two guides in Madrid were fantastic and we enjoyed them immensely. Both were informative, easy to understand and kept us entertained. We especially enjoyed the "market" tour, which really became a pub crawl but Carlos? was so good and entertaining we all had a great time. The guide in Seville was a little dry, but still informative. Hard to compete with the two we had just had in Madrid. Our time in Barcelona was also grand. The football game was a highlight as it was fun to see the passion Spain has for their teams. Transportation back from there left a lot to be desired but we eventually made it so alls well. Our guide in Barcelona was also great and We would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Going into the palace could have been skipped as well as the drive to Cascais since it was really just a touristy resort town.
The tuk tuk tour in Lisbon of west Belém was a complete waste of time and money and would not do that again!

Overall the tour was good, just not sure of value for money but was an easy trip with everything well planned and always with support available. Trip plan app was helpful although the info was sometimes inaccurate - for example, 2 hours for a 4 hr tour or 6 hrs for an 8-9 hr tour. We had to cancel dinner plans one night because we arrived back too late.

Bathroom privacy is a problem, and reception desk help could have been better, making errors and not providing solutions to problems until we talked with a manager or our travel / tour company. As mature adults, this does not meet expectations of a 4 star hotel. Also, there’s no parking if you have a rental car and no one to help with luggage. Our first guide, Agate was wonderful for our chateau tours in Amboise. We rented bikes but never used the bikes bc it was raining. Amboise was really beautiful. Hotel Le Manoir St Thomas was very comfortable and a nice blend of modern with a nod to the history of the area. There was a food truck for snacks, lunch and the like but we went out to dinner most nights in the town. Che Bruno was a huge favorite. L'Arpents also.
All the Paris tours were great but of course, very crowded so slow going. The Louvre was a really crowded so we didn't see as much as planned but we loved what we did see. Stephanie was an exceptional guide for the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte Chapelle. The Hotel Verneuil was really nice . The rooms are small but so comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. The Eiffel Tower at night was a definite highlight.
The food tour of the Marais district was fun. I don't remember the guides name. It was hard name to remember bc it was unusual - Mairiaty - or something like that. She took us to the market and various pastry and chocolate shops.
Our favorite restaurant in that area was Cinq Mars just down the street from Hotel Verneuil on rue Verneuil. It was so good. I had the best omelette that has now ruined me for any omelettes moving forward. We also had their fish and chocolate mousse - both so good. We walked over to the Rodin Museum. Not crowded and a small museum but packed with wonderful Rodin works including The Thinker. The gardens were beautiful.
We are so glad we stopped in Giverney - it was one of our favorites. It was really interesting to see Monet's house and gardens and then visit the musse d Orsay and see so many of his paintings back in Paris later on.
David was our guide for DDay and did an awesome job. We started with the German cemetery and ended with Omaha Beach. It was a beautiful day. We were able to be at the American cemetery for Taps at 4pm. It was very moving. Our hotel was one of our favorites - Hotel Belle Normandy. The people were so friendly and the setting was beautiful. The town was interesting. A lot of Americans and Brits. Finding a restaurant was more difficult so call ahead before your trip.
Our Mont Sainte Michel day was a downpour but we made it through and it was fascinating. Oliver was very good and getting us through the crowd and seeing all the high points without getting drenched. His knowledge of the area and the history of France and WW1 was really interesting . His stories and facts kept us entertained on our walking.
We loved walking around San Malo. What a beautiful town. The Golden Tulip Grand Be was a nice hotel with lots of amenities. They had a spa and workout room and a sauna. We only used the sauna one day but it was appreciated after I swam in Bon-Secours Beach saltwater pool which was quite cold. The locals were swimming so I ventured in. Walking the ramparts was okay but too windy to enjoy thoroughly. I would imagine in nicer weather, it would be a beautiful walk. The food was amazing. We ate at two restaurants - L'armateur and L'Atelire. Both really good.
Our last afternoon in Paris, we went to the Musee' dOrsay and dinner at le-Coup-Chou near our hotel, Hotel Jardin du Cluny. Musee d'Orsay was packed which we expected bc it was a free Sunday but we are very glad we made the effort. Both the hotel and the restaurant did not disappoint.
Nathalie was very helpful with the planning of our trip. We made changes and tweaks and she accomodated easily. During our trip she was able to help out when we needed to add my neice very last minute to the tours in Paris. She was just what we needed for planning and implementing this trip. She thought of everything . We are grateful to her for a wonderful trip.

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were friendly and the room was beautiful and clean. It is located in Imerovigli and there is about a 15-20 minute taxi ride to Oeia (where all the shops and most of the restaurants are). Taxi/transfers can be expensive to Oeia. There were a few restaurants around this hotel in addition to the one attached to the hotel. The food was great at their restaurant. The view is stunning and while there isn't a direct view of the sunset over the water, you do see the beautiful colours of the sky over the Caldera which is breathtaking. Perhaps a few things were lost in translation. The first couple of hotels were below standard , perhaps 4 Star but we got the small cheap rooms, maybe e star, I checked the rates when there. After the first 3 hotels we decided to upgrade our rooms , our cost, from say 20 sqmtr to larger rooms. Hotels after the upgrades we paid for, were excellent. Transport was average, with smallish uncomfortable cars , especially on the hours long trips we did. The drivers were ok some were informative, others did not know much.
The early hotels were not international as no alcohol was served. In all an interesting trip, perhaps we should have gone for 5 star hotels. Communication with our local agent was trying in the beginning but improved after my comments to KimKim.
Thank you, John Abbink

Good position, great to walk to old town. Breakfast was a waste off time with scraps lying around and not much to choose from

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback, John. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the upgraded hotels and that communication improved during your trip. We also appreciate your comments about room standards and transport comfort, this helps us improve our future arrangements. While some drivers are more talkative than others, please note that they are not guides, so they’re not expected to provide in-depth explanations during the journey. Thank you again for traveling with us! Best, Yuqqa
