Matt and his team did a fantastic job organizing our entire trip to Guatemala and Belize spanning four weeks. They took perfect care of every single transportation need from the time we landed in Guatemala City to the time we took off from Belize City. All the vehicles, transportation logistics and the drivers they provided were excellent, not a single glitch anywhere. Every activity that we planned was executed perfectly. All arrangements for each of the tours and activities were done perfectly, with excellent guides who were very friendly and knowledgeable. Due to various situations, we had to change plans and re-arrange activities and all these changes were handled by Matt's team with great patience and efficiency. Matt assigned one of his office managers, Liceth, to handle our entire trip. Liceth is an absolute gem of a person who organized everything and made everything work like clockwork. She responded to every query and request literally 24x7 and made the entire trip perfect. Every single one of the drivers and guides provided were extremely friendly and efficient, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make our trip enjoyable. Matt and his entire team are the best resources we could possibly have found to help us with our trip. Absolutely a delight to work with this team and would highly recommend them. Will definitely use this team again if the opportunity arises.

Amanda and I had a wonderful time in Ecuador, and the ease of having KimKim support the planning was super helpful.

Our guide Milton in Quito was incredible and so wonderfully kind and supportive. The experiences that were planned for us were amazing.

Amanda had a heavy workload on the trip and both Milton and Mathias were incredibly flexible when we needed them to be.

The two things that could have gone better were our trip to the Amazon. The lodgings had no Wifi when we had expressed that Amanada had very important work to do. In retrospect, it would have been better to do a day trip to the cloud forest and then return to Quito.

The second thing was our trip back- which in total involved over 24 hours of travel. It would have worked much better for us to spend one addtional night in Quito to break up the trip.

Further detaisl and information ahead of time would have helped us to plan through these issues.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and KimKim (especially Milton) really helpd to improve and support the trip!

Just back form our amazing trip to Costa Rica. We spent 8 wonderful days there and many thanks to Kim Kim travel (and our expert Juan Carlo, for organizing this trip. The service provide by Kim Kim was excellent - they spent alot of time finding out what we wanted to do on our trip and then organized our itinerary to match. Everthing ran like clockwork - all transport was on time and so clean and comfortable. All tours and guides were amazing (expecially Kristal in Arenal). We enjoyed every minute of every day and hope to return to Costa rice someday soon. It is an amazing country with so much diversity in landscape - beautiful rain foreats , wildlife, coastline,beaches, activities - and amazing people. Our first time using KimKim and it was an excellent experience. Martina, our local specialist was very prompt in her responses and took into account our preferences. The logistics were flawless - airport transfers, domestic tickets, tours everything worked out as planned. We had an incredible trip to Northern Tanzania that exceeded all of our expectations - thank you Nadia! Our trip started with a 3-day hike to summit Mount Meru, led by Ungi Tours. The guide and porters were wonderful, offering not only good companionship but also were very knowledgeable about the environment through which we were hiking and instruction on how to successfully summit despite the altitude and other challenges. After Meru, we had 5 days of safari through Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, led by Classic Journeys Africa safari tours. Our guide was excellent and patient, spending countless hours riding around the parks, watching the wildlife, and answering our questions. And the accommodations for these days were each spectacular in their own way - Maramboi Tented Lodge, Nyikani Migration Camp, and Ngorongoro Farm House - allowing us to sleep right inside of (or very near) the actual parks, with wildlife walking through the camps! Finally, we ended with 3 days in Zanzibar, which included a half-day of snorkeling and a full day of walking the streets of Stone Town and learning the history of the East African slave trade. Again, our driver and the guides were fantastic! And all throughout, whenever we needed assistance (unexpected flight changes, etc.), the local specialist we used through kimkim was incredibly helpful. Thank you!

This hotel grew on us as we spent more time there because the staff were so friendly, but the accommodations were in disrepair. You could appreciate the "specatularness" of the resort when it first opened (20-30 years ago), but during our stay, the wifi didn't work for 3 of the 4 days, the food was very average (and sometimes not good), and several of the lights and electrical outlets in our room did not work. And the place had more of a feel of a 'conference center' than a resort. That said, the rooms were spacious and the staff friendly. We were originally torn between staying in the center of Stone Town or at a beach resort on the eastern coast and settled on this place as a compromise, and it worked for those reasons, but at the very least it would have been far more pleasing if the food had been better.

Overall, an amazing experience and a full day. The Spice Farm was fascinating - our family loved learning about how so many spices we use day to day are grown. And we had a fantastic tour guide for the walking tour of Stone Town and Prison Island. Obviously, learning about the East African slave trade was quite sobering and we were surprised by the giant tortoise on Prison Island. But all in all, a very important and meaningful part of any trip to Zanzibar.

We are so appreciative of the work Angel put into planning our trip to Chile. Our family had a fabulous vacation and it was so easy to book the trip. I simply told Angel the things our family likes to do and he curated hotels and excursions that fit us perfectly. On the day that my husband missed the tour to the Concha y Toro winery because of illness, Angel showed up at our hotel with a bottle of wine for him! We were also very impressed with the guides and drivers we had for our excursions. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The highlights of our trip were hiking to the Mirador Base at Torres del Paine(very challenging but amazing), touring the Torres del Paine National Park with Boris and Jose, and the produce market and cooking class in Valparaiso with Andy and Alejandra. Our 18-day trip was titled "Vietnam: History, Art, and Nature". History is essential to understanding Vietnam -- all our guides were well-versed and shared in a meaningful way. The American War was won by North Vietnam, of course, and the people are proud of defeating a powerful imperial country; this contributes to the pride they feel in how the country has been rebuilt, both North and South. Our understanding was greatly enriched by this. And then the Art part of our trip was also evident everywhere, from formal art museums to the design of lovely tourist items for sale: weavings from the ethnic tribes of the Sapa region and grass place mats from the Mekong Delta. We were introduced to incredibly beautiful Nature in the mountainous region of Sapa as well as in HaLong Bay. Driving between these sites were also spectacular.

The time of year I chose to visit definitely made the trip more interesting - from rain to sun to snow, nothing was predictable which made every day fresh and new, not to mention the spectacular destinations. Of all the places I saw, I think Mardin was my favorite - I'd never been there, there seemed to be less tourists (might have been the time of year), the views from the old city were incredible, finally got some sunshine, and the side-trip to the amazing Dara was incredible. Yakup was an excellent driver/guide and added so very much to my knowledge and learning at every destination we visited.

Phima Voyages made our trip to Peru so easy because they planned for and took care of every detail. Martina who is very knowledgeable about the area asked all the right questions, and really listened to our responses. We had a truly amazing time. Not only because Peru is amazing, but because Martina, Alex, Wilfredo, and the various drivers, made it easy for us to to focus on how amazing Peru is. Wilfredo is a wonderful guide- very knowledgeable, kind, and intuitive. He gave us the right amount of detail as he gauged our interest based on our questions. Thank you to Phima Voyages!

Absolutely amazing experience with planned by Olman for us- and he did it all last minute during the busiest time of the year for travel to Costa Rica. From the very first day we were so taken care of, and everything ran so smoothly. The only thing that went wrong on our trip was a flight delay and we were worried that because our incoming flight had changed that we may not have anyone to pick us up from the airport. Not even a hiccup on that end, and the entire trip was so enjoyable and well thought out. We will absolutely use KimKim again in the future.

Olman planned out a very thoughtful itinerary for us, which mixed in nature, adventure and relaxation all while we drove ourselves through the stunning country of Costa Rica. We loved every single activity planned- whether it was our eco lodge in Tortuguero, or zip lining in Monteverde, this trip was one of a lifetime.

Nara was very attentive and friendly on all of our communication during our trip.
Our guides Andreas for our Patagonia national park day and Chloe on our Osorno volcano were great. Our wine guides were good too. It would have been helpful to have a guide on how much to tip the drivers and guides as we probably did not tip well enough for our wine tours.
Overall everything was great!!!

Lacey did an amazing job, the experiences were truly once in a life time, details were planned out and everything went off very well, there was even some added flexibility.

Augustina was great in helping us plan the trip around Argentina, with a great selection of sights and with flexibility. This was our 1st trip to South America and it really helped us plan, and make the most out of our time there. However, once we were there, the communication wasn´t great on important details (pick up times, duration, activities) and we were the ones having to get in touch to get the missing information, which was disappointing for a premium service and stressful at times.
The pros:
- pre trip planning with Augustina, her guidance, patience, reactivity, recommendations and tips
- some fantastic guides (special thanks to Diego in the Calchaqui valley, and Jimena in El Calafate) and amazing visits
- amazing day with residents in a local community in Cafayate
The cons:
- Lack of communication on pick-ups times, in advance!
- Some unplanned activities (3 wine tastings, which were nice but not planned and I did mention my partner can´t drink... Then going back for lunch to a city we had already visited, again not in our programme)
- Duration of tours: much longer than planned, which was ok most of the times but on the day we had to catch a connecting night bus (which they knew about, and we kept checking with the guide timings were going to be ok) they dropped us off just 5 min before the bus departure, after a mad rush in a car after being transferred out of the tour bus. Stressful, dangerous, and luckily we had enough food and water for a the 10hrs trip or it would have been very painful! Not the kind of situation you´d expect from a planned tour, and it made the whole day very stressful. And no one actually checked we got our bus ok and contacted us to apologize for the mix up.

Amazing glacier! Shame it can only be accessed in huge boats, as there was a large group that was extremely noisy the whole day, and it really felt a bit more little cattle herding than quiet contemplation or enjoyment.

Not sure why we had to walk 5 mins from our accommodation to be picked up in front of a random hotel, while it was only us being picked up... Since it was snowing, waiting inside for these 20 mins would have been nicer.

The sight seeing was amazing, but the unplanned activities and lack of control of timings kind of made the day stressful for us.

We got picked up at 8am from Divisadero to go back to the hotel, to then only start a tour at 11am, with unplanned wine tastings, then return to Cafayate for lunch (which we didn´t know, so we had made sure to go visit Cafayate the 1st evening there, thinking we won´t get the chance again...even though we could have chilled a bit at the lovely hotel pool instead for example). The tour took so much longer than planned (even if nothing unexpected happened...so I´m not sure why timings were so off) so we were stressing about catching our bus, which ended up in a mad rush.

A small group and a fantastic guide made this day extra special. Jimena was very enthusiastic, and really knowledgable about the area, the fauna and flora, it´s history etc. She really made sure we were all enjoying it. Thanks for the gentleman on the boat (apologies I forgot his name) who also went above and beyond in the cold to make sure we all got to see the glacier and took photos. Lunch in the estancia was also excellent and a beautiful setting.

4 people+ driver in one 4X4 car for about 5hrs on a dust road is LONG! 3 people at the back was very tight, especially with someone you don´t know. And whoever is in the middle seat can´t enjoy much of the landscape.
