What an amazing experience! The places that we stayed were all quite different and lovely. Our favorite hotel was in Essaouira. The Sahara desert was incredible. My favorite part of the trip was riding a camel to see the sunset and continue to the camp on a clear night with an infinite amount of stars. There was live music and dancing. It was such a magical journey. The people that we got to know could not have been more lovely. We were two ladies that were a little hesitant to travel alone. We felt extremely safe the entire time. I highly recommend this experience.

We just completed a Spain/Portugal tour planned by Kimkim. What seemed like a sparse itinerary at first turned out to be one of the best trips we have taken. We had no issues with any of the arrangements, transportation, hotels and tours.

Our idea of a tour is not the types where the company picks you up in the morning and takes you to all the tourist spots and returns you to the hotel at the end of the day.

This tour felt like we were on our own and yet able to experience the locales and really learn about each. Place. The guides they use had great knowledge and enthusiasm. It felt like we were in a friend’s hometown who was showing us their favorite spots.

Marina was on point, efficient and responsive and the reason we chose Kimkim. Now that we have completed the tour, wow just wow. We will definitely use Kimkim again in future trips.

The Astotel hotel in Paris was amazing!! Service was great, staff were friendly and very accommodating, rooms were clean, breakfast was wonderful with many selections and complimentary snacks in the comfortable lobby all day was a real plus.
All of the hotels we stayed at were clean and accommodating and made us comfortable.
The guided tour to Normandy was a fantastic experience and the guide (Guton) was friendly, knowleageable and responsive. The tour to Versaille was worth the trip and the Guide (Edwardo) made the experience enjoyable and informative.
Simon from KimKim was readily avilable during the trip and helpful with any questions or asssitance that we needed.

We had an amazing time celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in Italy (albeit two plus years late, thanks to COVID!). We worked with Andrea at KimKim and we could not have been happier. He was excellent! If we could give more than five stars, we would! We came to him with a rough idea of what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go: Venice, Florence, and Rome. He conducted a thorough survey right at the beginning to get much more detail about what we did and did not want to do. Then, he came back with the perfect plan for us. The individual guides with whom he set us up were fantastic - personable and friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. I highly recommend doing the individual tours with the skip the line tickets - we easily saved 10-15 hours of standing in lines over the course of our ten day trip. We have already referred many friends to Andrea and KimKim and will continue to do so. We will also be using them again. Cannot wait for our next trip.

The entire trip was perfect from
Start to finish. Our travel agent Caterina was so responsive and really put together a fantastic tour for us. Each of our guides were outstanding- so much knowledge shared with us. The drivers also were superb - we felt very safe traveling both the highways and the narrow streets of Portugal. Our guides Barbara Anjus in Coimbra and Mario Miguel in Lisbon were highlights of our trip along with the Douro Valley and the towns of Braga and Nazare.

Eric was, simply put, AMAZING!! :) It is such a plus to travel to a country and have everything pre-planned, pre-booked and pre-paid. His itinerary was thorough, extremely detailed, and truthfully, we did not get to do all his additional, optional, recommendations... no regrets though as we were FULLY booked the whole time :)

If you are planning a Morroco trip, my tip is to use kim kim. They work hard to plan an amazing itinerary, are prompt in answering any questions or concerns. Abdullah and Said were wonderful with flexibility of our guided tours. Our driver, Samir was kind and professional. His driving was top notch, we all enjoyed his company and will miss him. We spent two weeks travelling from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchouan, Fes, Merzouga, Dades Valley, Marrakech, and then Essaouira. The people of Morroco treat you like family. We enjoyed dinner in Fes with a local family. The camel ride into the Sahara was beautiful at sunset. I am so thrilled to have this amazing experience. Travel is good for the soul..

As a solo female traveler, I have doubts on my safety but my driver Ayoub reassures me with my safety the moment he picked me up at the airport, I commend him for his exceptional professionalism and dedication to a safe, enjoyable and comfortable journey. He exhibited an impressive knowledge of the local area, displaying a keen sense of direction . His commitment to punctuality was commendable, always arriving promptly on agreed - upon schedule. The long drive from one city to another has never been boring. He makes sure that I've arrived safely in my Riad. He even checked on me if I've arrived safely on my home country.

My tour guides Mr Nourddin in Marrakech, Mr Morad in Casablanca , Mr Hamid in Imlil Village, Mr Hafid in fes and for Chefchaouen, Desert tour and food tour ( I forgot their names) are the linchpin of this journey. Their knowledge of the destination was astonishing and they brought history and culture to life with captivating stories. They effortlessly led me through the streets and historical sites. They made sure that I didn't only see the place but I truly understood it. I'm thankful to all of them for patiently taking my photos too.

The Riads that has been accommodating me are amazing too, I received a warm welcome from them, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

We had heard a lot about this unique country, Japan, for various reasons while we visited so many, many countries across the globe, we could travel to Japan only in October 2023. KimKim as travel agent was suggested as ideal by our son Ashwin, he and his wife , Priyanka Roy, frequently use the services of this agency and had always found them to deliver very well. So we went on to the website and filled in our details and requirements. We were give Myaen as coordinator for our ten day trip. From then on Myaen was super active. She suggested an itinerary and addressed every concern we had. If the budget was going beyond our expectations, she edited some of the items, every which way Myaen made every effort to tailor our trip to our needs. For Hakone she felt we would do well to have a guide with us for a day. Akira, an English speaking guide was a God send, but for her, we would never have enjoyed and seen Hakone the way we did. Every hotel that Myaen booked for us, each little activity , be it the tea ceremony or the calligraphy session was most enjoyable and gave us great insight into the culture of the country. Also the day to day itinerary Myaen had suggested, we followed it almost to the end and we were never disappointed. She was also on the phone to convey immediate messages and extremely prompt to respond to our very many queries no matter what time of the day. A most memorable trip in all, many thanks to KimKim and Myaen.
Our only disappointments, again not to do with KimKim or Myaen …..the inability to communicate with most people, including the hotel staff , as they barely spoke or understood English, and the absolute lack of vegetarian food. Hotels had been informed, but they could at best only provide a few variants in bread and sometimes, salad.

We have just finished a 14-day tour and to be succinct but still clear in what I've just experienced I would say that I have seen all the beautiful areas of Morocco -the big cities, the gorges, the mountains, the desert and the sea, but what this tour did was allow me to connect with the culture and with people in each of these places because absolutely everything else was looked after and taken care of for us. Morocco Immersion chooses local tour guides that have a passion for what they do and that have great knowledge and passion for their area. I felt welcomed and accepted everywhere that we went and I learned so much and got to interact and come to know so many people! It was beyond my expectation and I am so very grateful for this experience.

You cannot know the things that you would want to see and experience as they are different from things at home. That is why Morocco immersion was such a gift because we were given experiences we couldn't have known we wanted!!! And couldn't have been able to experience them fully without our tour guide, because often with local people we would meet there would be no common language and yet with a tour guide we joked and dressed up and had fun with so very many people!

This tour was an absolute priceless treasure!!!!!

Dalia was superb and extremely responsive to any questions or concerns. Rosa also was a big help when Dalia was unavailable briefly. The trip was well organized and every selection (hotels, etc,) seemed cumulated to our unique interests. Loved the whole trip!❤️❤️❤️

Our on the ground support team of Jessica and Barbara were always responsive. The app provided was very helpful in keeping all details organized and quickly accessible.

Our driver from Naples to Sorrento (Angelo) was super fun and we really enjoyed our stop at the limoncello factory with him.

Ciro Jr. was our wonderful guide/driver for Positano, Amalfi and our limoncello lunch experience. He was so helpful with his suggestions to organize our stops to make the most of our time for the best experience. He happily offered to take photos for us and gave us a perfect restaurant recommendation for my daughter’s birthday. He even arranged to meet up with us after our tour when my daughter realized she had left a purchase behind in the vehicle!

I never would have been able to pull off all the logistics of this trip. Extremely grateful to Arianna for her thoughtful planning and execution. It was a trip of a lifetime for us! Grazie Mille!

We opted for a custom tour with KimKim. Samir was our online contact; Mohammed was our driver for the week. Both made our trip to Jordan one of the books. Highly recommend them.

Samir was responsive (got back to us within a few hours) and patient with our various requests and preferences (it took us about two months on and off to finalize our trip). Mohammed was engaging, informative, and just as patient with us on the road; we never felt rushed with him.

Our week-long itinerary involved time in Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea. Samir finetuned our itinerary to our preferences, always answering our questions and making changes for our review without hesitation. We rarely travel the “meet us with a sign and take us around” style, but we did for this trip and all details were handled for us: hotel check-ins, guide intros, and excursion tickets. We didn’t have a single hiccup in 6 days and 650 miles of driving (even when we were late by an hour one morning).

We didn’t need the fanciest hotels as we planned to be out and about during our short week in Jordan. We wanted close proximity to attractions and Samir honored our wishes even if he thought other hotels would have been more comfortable, which we appreciated. In Amman, the Art Hotel is 3-star, so manage your expectations. It’s in the heart of King Faisal Square and close to the downtown attractions. Staff was always pleasant. For Petra, we stayed at the Petra Palace Hotel in Wadi Musa, which was a bit dated but offered amenities such as two pools, spa with massage, full-service bar, and breakfast. It was within walking distance to Petra and we would stay there again even if it isn’t the shiniest hotel (we woke up late another morning and got to breakfast at closing, but they still set us up with a table by one of the pools). Our splurge was a Martian tent in Wadi Rum at Mayazen Rum Camp. We had all the modern amenities: AC, nonstop running hot water, and even an outdoor hot tub. We even got to see sunrise from our bed through the panoramic window. The staff was also pleasant and attentive. The restaurant served good traditional and foreign food; we always had more than we could eat.

Amman is a lively city with a lot to see and do from tourist sites to restaurants, cafes, and shops. We love a good shisha when in the Middle East and Amman had two great options at Faisal Cafe and Nara Cafe. We wish we had more time there. Petra is a bit touristy and the local vendors can take away from the experience, but it is hard to deny its allure. We went to Petra at Night and despite mixed reviews, we recommend going. How often can you walk The Siq at night underneath the moon and stars? Check out Old Street Cafe on a side street off Tourism St, excellent food and service. The Dead Sea is a must do, but we went in early September and it was hot (100 degrees - the air temperature, not the water). Hope you’re lucky and a tour bus (or several) don’t arrive at the same time you are there. The surge of people all trying to get their floating pictures can get annoying, but fortunately for us, it was too hot out for most people. Still, where else can you float without even trying? Wadi Rum was our favorite stop. We stayed two nights and did a sunset 4x4 tour and a 1/2-day 4x4 tour… two different experiences you should have. We also opted for a sunset camel ride for our last night and it was surreal to cross the red sands of the Wadi Rum with the landscape on the horizon. We appreciated how beautiful, and peaceful, our planet can be. All of this arranged through KimKim.

What a great trip! Chhewang took care of every detail and made good suggestions. When there was an issue with a hotel, he rectified it immediately. I highly recommend using Chhewang to help plan your Nepal trip.

Connie Campos is awesome! She helped me plan and execute the most amazing trip. I loved all of the hotels we stayed at. I think my 7 year old grandson liked the Crown Metropol in Perth, with its grand lobby with the glass elevators, the best. All of the tours we went on were awesome: starting in Sydney with the bus trip around town the the private boat trip and lunch around the harbor (iDavid and Jason were splendid), in Uluru we met Silvia, she told us many stories of the Aboriginal people, I’m Perth the Rottness trip was so interesting and quokkas are so cute the Pinnacle ms Star gazing trip was very unique and interesting, in Darwin our guides to Litchfield were zTess and Greg, they gave Amy’s an awesome day that took us to the highlights of the park and pro us with a lovely vegetarian meal, next in Cairns we had a lovely outing to Kuranda and got pictures with Liz, a two year old koala. I think the best of all was the trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Down Under Cruise and Dive. The crew was awesome. Of special note was one of the rescue swimmers, Kanani, took special interest in my 7 year old grandson. A few days before we left on our trip he fractured his elbow, so his arm was in a cast to his shoulder. I wrapped it in a big ziplock bag and taped it, so it wouldn’t get wet. Kanani took Hunter on two private snorkeling tours around the reef. She was so cool.
New Zealand was so kick back Sky City was so fun. We had the family room that was huge and spacious. In Rotorua, On the Point, we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa. The entire property was amazing, so very relaxing.
Back to Connie, she has a friend, that lives in Darwin, and it just so happened that at that time in our trip, it was time to have my grandson’s arm checked out. Do the two of them worked together to get an appointment set for my grandson to see a doctor. I can’t express how grateful I am for this going the extra mile service.
I think that it is evident that I am more than pleased with Connie and all the people I met on this Australian and New Zealand vacation.

Madrid Winery Tour was wonderful. The guide we had (sorry don't remember his name) was very knowledgeable about the 3 wineries we visited and seemed to have a great relationship with the owners & key employees working them. Having experienced a Tuscan Winery Tour in the fall of 2015, I wasn't sure how this tour would compare! It was wonderful! I especially enjoyed touring the winery that utilized the clay vats (oldest in Spain). My only criticism of the tours would be the inability of the owners and staff of the wineries to speak English and engage in conversation/questions with our tour group. I would also recommend that the size of the tour group be no larger than the number we had in ours. Someone with limited mobility would not be able to explore/experience the cellars and tight confines of some areas in the tours. I hope you communicate this to individuals who are contemplating signing up for the wineries tour. (I can't remember if you ask about mobility challenges when you are getting to know your clients and arranging the tour package). Please note our family had no problems with this.
Prada Museum and Botin Lunch was one of my favorites on the tour. As a foodie I looked forward to lunch at the oldest restaurant in the world! The day started with the museum tour which was very informative. Our tour guide (don't remember her name) was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour that added to the enjoyment of exploring the museum and then hosting/entertaining our group at lunch. The tour and food at Botin was magnificent! I especially enjoyed the cheesecake that our guide was emphatic we save room for! It was the best I've ever eaten and will be what I compare all future cheesecakes to!!! The Rioja wine served with the meal was also wonderful and is now one of my favorites to enjoy and bring back memories of Spain. Again the walk from the Museum to Botin and the ability to tour the cellar and then get up the narrow staircase and manipulate the tight table seatings to get to our table would be difficult for those experiencing mobility issues.
My favorite experience was the market tour and cooking class in Barcelona. Our tour guide/chef extraordinaire (I don't remember her name) was fantastic. The market was amazing! You could spend a whole day exploring all the different vendor stalls. The cooking class was entertaining and informative. It was well thought out in terms of participatory activities including the preparation of the foods, group interaction (switching up cooking partners and food prep) and then sharing what we had created in the end. Best Paella ever! Again Rioja was paired with the 4 course meal that we prepared. To access the cooking class kitchens you have to climb a narrow staircase. Again would be difficult for someone with mobility issues.
Park Güell and La Sagrada Familia was also a hi-lite for me. Not only was Antoni Gaudi an talented architect but an artist and genius in his designs. I especially loved the park as a seasoned gardener looking for ways to improve my piece of paradise (yard). He was born in the wrong era with his propensity for recycling! I knew nothing about Gaudi before Adam suggested this tour and was thinking it was just "another Church tour"! Boy was I wrong! I would highly recommend this for anyone planning a trip to Barcelona. Having talked to others, it's highly likely ticket sales to this tour sell out in advance and you'll miss out on these "iconic landmarks". Our tour guide (can't remember her name) was very knowledgeable and engaging. She spoke fluid English (and 3 other languages) and was easy to understand. The park portion of the tour is tricky to manipulate without the right shoes due to cobblestone surfaces and pathways even in good weather conditions. Anyone with mobility issues will be challenged or excluded (one person was) from this portion of the tour. The Church was awe inspiring and I look forward to a return sometime,when it is completed.

This hotel had a modern feel and was situated a bit out of the downtown area. We had to rely on buses and cabs to get around, which wasn't ideal. The hotel was right across from a soccer stadium, which would be great for sports fans. The hotel was beautiful, but I prefer a more historic location where I can walk out to local cafes. The pool hours also didn't work for us since it closed at 7pm.

I can't begin to describe how amazing this trip was. Andrea thought of everything. He really listened to what we wanted: where we wanted to be, activities we wanted to do. He thought about and coordinated transportation, which was extremely important to us since we did not have a car. He told us the "must sees" and took care of all the details to make this trip the most memorable and romantic anniversary trip. We really enjoyed our personal guides, their knowledge of the cities they live in and love so much. The hotels were all beautiful and very accommodating. We are already thinking about and planning our next trip! Cannot recommend enough!
