Hey Anna, many thanks for your view! Great to hear that you had a good time on trek, but especially that you enjoyed your time with the crew, Naresh and Pemba. We think they're pretty great, time and time again our guests prove the old saying true that they 'come to Nepal for the mountains but stay for the people'.

Kind hearted people with much integrity. The guide we had in Marakesh--- Kahil was so knowledgable and helpful. Very kind man and full of so much knowledge and history. Rachid --our guide on our five day adventure into the Atlas Mountains and southern Morocco -- he was like family to us on. We had such fun and extraordinary experiences. Rachid is also an excellent photographer (a good eye) and he took and shared many photos he had taken of us during our time together. We learned much about the Berber people. He took us to several Cooperatives so we could see first hand the work of the Moroccan people - in their small villages. We toured the Argon Oil Cooperate, Berber Carpet Cooperative, the Rose Water Cooperative, the Fossil Cooperative, the Tannery and Leather Cooperative, the Spice and Saffron Cooperative. ... and so on. We learned so much about the Medinas in the villages, and the Kasbahs. We learned of the history of the Berber people. Then of course our night in the Sahara Africa with the Camal Caravan oh my! We love dour night in the Sahara with the great food and singing and drumming by the fire under the stars. The entire trip had such amazing food. Came back with all sorts of Moroccan spices, so our home now smells of Morocco. We have used our Tagines every day since being back.

I can't say enough good things about our experience in Morocco. We love the Moroccan people. We love the smells, the colors, the Call to Prayer. We loved all of it.

We are so looking forward to coming back to Morocco. We will definitely work with the same tour company. Perhaps next year!

En Shallah.

They resolved it right away and the rest of the trip went by without a hitch. Also the hair dryer burst into flames while in use. The receptionist had the hair dryer replaced but we were nervous about the electrical outlet being hazardous and were unwilling to use any others nor would we use the replacement hair dryer - there were NO compensation offered for this. All other hotels had no issues and were very nice. All excursions were enjoyed ( rafting, zip-lining, nature tour, boat tour/snorkeling, turtle watch). The nature walk in Monteverde was nice - however the tour was regarding plants, insects, and birds and we'd asked to see wildlife (sloths, monkeys, tucans, mackaws) so that was a let down - park informed us we should have been signed up for a night tour to see that. I'm glad Monica really encouraged us to get the hot spot Wi-Fi and the GPS - they were extremely beneficial!

Both the one day tour and the longer tour were very good. The one day tour suffered from going to two very touristy spots with a long drive for one day. I think it would be more advisable to recommend closer experiences if possible for a one day trip. The guide Bom was excellent.
The guide for the longer trip Apple was very personable, friendly and helpful but we did feel at times that her English language skills were below par particularly in vocabulary and fluency in passing on information eg the history of an area. The content of the trip was on the whole very good though could have been a little more imaginative in some areas - we found that we consulted our Lonely Planet guidebook regularly eg for hints on good museums, other sites not on the itinerary. For instance the Sukhothai Museum turned out to be excellent for those interested in the local history , we also found a very interesting ceramic workshop which ran interesting tours . A range of additional things should be able to be suggested by a good guide. Sukhothai was a highlight for us particularly as the Loy Krathong festival was so brilliant with the illuminated historical site - a piece of info which was not included in our itinerary nor particularly emphasised by the guide. The Loy Krathong dinner which we attended in Chiang Mai hotel was fine though somewhat overrated (and artificial compared to Sukhothai event) . It would have be useful to know we were paying such a large amount for that particular event - the buffet food was definitely not memorable.
Also I may have missed it in info provided but it would be good to have some guidance on tipping (for guides/drivers) in Thailand as each country has been different approach to this.

This was my first booking on Kimkim and it was pretty seamless. The costs of this are pretty high, but it is okay if you do not have enough time to plan yourself. I did a bunch of things with my boyfriend during our ten days in Morocco. We did have a few hiccups like the driver not picking us up in chefcheoun or the walking guide not arriving. However, the rest of the trip went smooth. The local private driver we had during our Sahara trip, Youssef, was amazing. He was super enthusiastic and great. My bf and I ended up hanging out with him in Marrakesh as well! Our walking guide in fez was great- he was super informative and enthusiastic. Our walking guide in Marrakesh was okay- he was a bit bland and his English was not as great- unfortunately he was pretty quiet for a lot of the time which was fine but I wish we had the same one from fez! One negative is that there’s a few “hidden” costs and people try to offer you things for free or in good faith but then ask for money- it’s annoying! For example, when we were in our riad in Marrakesh, we asked for coffee a few times thinking it was free. In the end they asked for money before I checked out- this should have been communicated beforehand since the states offer free things or are more upfront with costs. The riads we stayed at were good- we loved a lot of them especially the one in ourzazate. The one in Marrakesh didn’t have hot water so it was a bit hard to shower but other than that no issues. Overall- it was great having Brahim as a guide as he was alert and attentive. He was quick to respond and made the kimkim experience a positive one.

To say this experience was amazing would be an understatement. I spent countless hours researching the sites and monuments in Athens and put together a list of all the ones that interested me and my Husband. I sent a message to KimKim as they were the only company I found that not only put personalized tours together (forget the canned tours where you only get a few minutes at each site with a large group of people and are rushed away due to a schedule and don't always get to see every site you're interested in) but they spent time and energy helping us put together the most memorable tour for our Honeymoon. I have told as many people I can about this company as I feel as though if you are traveling to an unknown land - you should get the best most valuable experience - KimKim delivered over and above our expectations. We were greeted, on time, by the most amazing and friendly tour guide, Cici. She was lovely, knowledgeable, respectful and really spent time catering to our desires and interests. Cici was not the only KimKim representative we interacted with - from the date we showed interest until after we left Athens, we were given advice, suggestions and support for the remainder of our trip to Santorini and Crete. We saw everything we wanted to see, had a great lunch to break up the day and then, a private driving tour of the entire city. we saw every monument, all the best parts of Athens and really felt a connection to our guide. once we paid for our package we were assured everything was included, transportation, tickets to attractions and the most thorough explanation of the monuments and their glorious history. There is not one negative thing I can say as we reflect back on the most amazing experience we were provided with. We plan to travel to Thailand next and we will absolutely be putting out trust in KimKim to help us plan another outstanding experience for us. I have never felt so taken care of by a company in the past and believe they really try their hardest to ensure each one of their clients is completely comfortable and satisfied. their response time to messages is quick and they really made us feel completely comfortable before, during and after our excursion.

Thank you KimKim for the most memorable honeymoon experience anyone could ask for!
With Extreme Gratitude,

After having everything planned one of our sons had an accident which meant we had to start from scratch and replan a trip that would cater for him. Nothing was a problem for Amanda and her suggested revised itinerary was perfect for us.
Our guide Tendu and our porters, Pemba & Dolci could not have been better. Apart from looking after us so well, we quickly felt they were more like friends we were lucky enough to trek with. They were so friendly, informative and perceptive - so quick to respond to individual’s needs during day while trekking and all other times.
The tea houses varied in their facilities, but we loved them all - all in great locations, clean, comfortable and great food.
Amanda also felt like do much more than a travel consultant - she met us in Kathmandu both before and after our trek.
My husband & I shared this holiday with our two adult sons and their partners. We all want to return to Nepal for another trekking experience - hopefully with the help of Amanda and accompanied by Tendu, Pemba & Dolci.
