We had a great trip to Japan. Our itinerary was detailed and the availability of drivers and guides was very useful. It made a big trip very approachable.

We had Kim Kim Plan a trip to Portugal for us. It was excellent. I answered the questionnaire. I got everything I asked for private drivers, private tours, beautiful hotels. Every driver we had was accommodating and showed us extra little secret places to visit and took us. It was absolutely amazing and it was totally hasslefree. They texted us every day with an itinerary and always checked in on if we needed anything
I would totally use them over and over

Linda's guidance before and during the trip was very helpful. She and her team were very attentive while we were traveling and offered excellent insights.

It appears that not everything was well coordinated. For example, our trip to Saint Tropez we did not have to take the taxi for €70 and the bus could pick us up on the way. There were a few similar mishaps like this. However, the good part was that bastion was always available on the phone. You really appreciate that. He helped us when the conflict occurred on the way.

We recently traveled with KimKim on a trip through Ireland, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The itinerary included unique and memorable activities — the Tea Bus tour around Belfast was such a highlight! It offered a fun way to see the city, and the guide was both knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Our accommodations at Belvedere and Kilmorey Arms were comfortable, and the staff at both were friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the Kilmorey Arms’ thoughtful offer of scones and beverages before our early departure.

Our private chauffeurs were courteous and well-informed, making the journeys enjoyable and educational. Trevor, one of our drivers, went out of his way to personalize our stops, ensuring we had time for photos and even walking us to spots he thought we’d like after tours ended. We also enjoyed the Riverdance show — though we would have preferred to have the ticket details a bit earlier to plan around it better.

There were a few areas where things could be improved. We had mentioned needing accommodations suitable for older travelers, so staying at a hotel without an elevator was challenging. Also, clearer instructions for the self-check-in hotel would have helped reduce confusion. The roadmap provided by KimKim was very useful, but navigating between some sites required more walking or bus transfers than expected, so we found ourselves relying on Uber at times.

All in all, we’re grateful for the memorable trip that KimKim arranged for us. With a few adjustments, it could have been truly seamless. We appreciate the care that went into the planning and look forward to using KimKim again!

Alex put together a great trip for me and my daughter on short notice! First time to Norway for both of us! We will definitely have to come back. Nick and Alejendra were very helpful after the trip was booked and helped adjust some last minute timing changes.

Very convenient location just off the harbor. Our room on the 6th floor was huge. The style and finishes are a bit dated, which on the plus side helps create the feeling that you are in a historic building. The small gym in the basement is nice, with a great sauna, which i used twice. We were positively surprised to learn that the hotel offers a complimentary fika (sweets & tea) in the afternoon and even a buffet style dinner for all guests at 6pm. We used this to our advantage by having an early dinner and then go out into the bright summer evening to eat some more fish and desert near the harbor. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of fresh choices, but quite crowded when it opened at 8. On Saturday night the bar across the street was very noisy with locals partying until 3am, which affected my sleep a little, but then again i was happy to see the Norwegians celebrating the nice summer weather. Overall a very solid hotel with character at a perfect location.

Great overview of the history of Bergen by our guide Serena. She was very engaging and kept our group of 8 interested for the full 3 hours. I highly recommend this walk as we learned a lot of details about Bergen's history we would otherwise be unaware off.

Cool experience. We took the funicular to the top and then did a challenging hike to the top of the Gondola via steep and remote trails.

There was not a negative aspect in any part of my travel experience. Leny gave a first class treatment and was there any time we needed anything along our trip. She made our 10 day trip to Japan as hassle free as one could make it. I will never plan a trip unless I have the help of Leny or the kimkim team. If looking to book a trip, rest in peace knowing you can make that journey and have everything you’ll need from start to finish. The knowledge Leny possessed and the tour guides she planned out for us were all 5 star experiences. Thank you for making our trip a true trip of a lifetime!

The trip was well organized. Due to weather, our balloon ride was cancelled, but we Coraima reorganized our schedule and communicated the change to us timely. The instructions for catching the train from Barcelona to Girona could have been more detailed. When we walked into the train station, it was a wide open area with at least two possible places to checkin for our train. We needed to ask two different people which area was the correct place to catch our train. A simple diagram would have saved some time/uncertainty.

Anna MB, our guide in Girona, was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. When our return train to Barcelona was cancelled she took extra time to ensure we were rescheduled and had tickets for the train. She made our day!

Outstanding scenic ride. Bas was a great problem solver for us

First of all many thanks to Gustavo from KimKim for working with us patiently to plan such a fabulous vacation. Thanks to Gregg to setting up all the appointments and responding quickly on chat while we were on the trip.

Call out to Jacamar Team especially James who was both on the river cruise as well as the white water rafting.

The night walk in La Fortuna is a must. We saw so many frogs!!

The treetop zip line experience in Monteverde was amazing. I close my eyes and can re live the experience flying through the clouds.

Treetop dining was superb experience.

Lastly the beach at the W in playa conchal was just decadent - hands down the best service on the beach!!

We visited Rome Florence and Sorrento with many small cities in between. Melanie planned an amazing itinerary that covered many tourist sites. This hotel had absolutely amazing views!!! The views were the best part of this hotel. The rooms were fine but nothing special as was the food. The staff at the front desk were not very nice or helpful, it was as if you had to pull information out of them. Due to the location of this hotel (which is not ideal) you need to take a shuttle in and out of town. The shuttle was extremely hot and many times full, so it could become quite inconvenient. Not a hotel I would return to.

It was an amazing trip. Turkey is such a beautiful country, so much history and some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. For a two week trip, Berat set up a schedule that allowed us to see so many places and enjoy many experiences. I got a taste of Turkey, and want to go back eventually to see the places that time just did not allow.

Our three guides, Volkan, Alp and Ozan were incredibly knowledgeable and were able to answer all of our questions. While they had very individual styles, it was clear that they loved their country and were happy to share their knowledge and impressions with us. They were very attentive and helpful. And the drivers also deserve praise--they drove some very long distances, maintained good attitudes and were quite helpful.

In summary, Berat planned a wonderful trip and everything went very smoothly. Thanks for a great time!

Audrey, our trip to France was incredible. Thank you for everything you did to make it happen. We always felt you had our backs while we were traveling. You were excellent to work with. The Boutik Hotel 3 was very traditional, quite comfortable and perfectly located by the town square. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were very French. We loved staying here and would stay here again.

The tour wasn't your classic tour with the tour guide explaining history, etc, as you move thru a town, the country side, etc., Essentially, the driver explained a few things as we drove to our destination, then he let us out of the car and said we were on our own to explore the cities with limited time to do so. Also, "Victor" , one of our drivers in Nice, was impatient and somewhat rude. I would suggest not using him again.

We want to give a big shout out to our tour guide, Frank Vinansaca with Authentic Ecuador, who we feel more like a travel companion than a tour guide. Frank not only acted as tour guide, but also our photographer and entertainer to our kids. He is very easy going and flexible during the entire trip with always positive attitude. Mar listened to all my thoughts and desires. She gave suggestions and feedback which was very much appreciated. Starting in Copenhagen: we had a terrific guide, So drs, who really explained to us the Hygge life. The ferry to Oslo was really terrific and a great way to relax and enjoy the next destination. The food on the ferry in the “ special” restaurant was quite good. We adored our hotel in Oslo. Great location … great rooms. Have to admit…. We were shocked at prices of food, alcohol and Ubers in Norway. Our guide was quite good but as many Norwegians… a bit stoic. Loved the Munch Museum and enjoyed the Norse Folksmuseum body’s 1 $ 2.
The train ride of 7 hours to Bergen was truly a highlight. Absolutely great, fun hotel in Bergen: Charmaine. Away from maddening crowds. A bit if a mixup with tour guide… but all handled beautifully and added Furnicularvtude was included. Would suggest shorter boat ride seeing the fjords and skip visiting Rosendal. The Kode Museums somewhat meaningless but enjoyed the town overall.
Mars planning was spot on. Would highly recommend her and Kim Kim..

We had an amazing time in Costa Rica thanks to the team at Serendipity Adventures. This was our first time using a travel agency to help us plan a trip, and we loved it! We worked with Bryan to identify a great itinerary for our 10-day honeymoon in Costa Rica. Bryan and the team did not disappoint! Nancy and Bryan took care of everything before the trip and worked with Wilman once in Costa Rica. He even popped over to say hi and meet us after our coffee tour!

Everyone on the team was communicative and easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and were happy to help with everything. We didn't experience a single problem with our reservations or with the quality of hotels/activities the entire time we were there.

It was clear that they work with some of the best locals and local businesses in Costa Rica and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another trip to Costa Rica!

We loved our trip to Ireland/Scotland. Aleksandra was very responsive to our questions and receptive to our suggestions and requests. We especially enjoyed the accommodations, which were all so different but equally impressive. We would not have been able to create this bucket-list experience on our own! We have already decided to use kimkim the next time we travel! Thank you so much for facilitating a great trip.

We couldn't believe how gorgeous this place was! Seeing and hearing the sheep when we woke up was magical -- as was the expansive and private beach. Loved the restaurant and the hot tub as well as the beautiful rooms and lobby. The only downside of the community was a lack of transportation, but that is not the fault of this hotel.

I usually do not write reviews, but I have to make an exception because this was a big trip for my family. We just returned from a great 2 week trip to Italy. (Rome, Florence and Sorrento). I found KimKim from an internet search and decided to give it a try. So glad I did because I was lucky enough to find Melanie. From the very first contact with her, she made me feel comfortable with the KK decision.

Over the course of 2 to 3 weeks she and I crafted the perfect itinerary for our family. From accommodations, tours, transfers everything was thoughtfully arranged to meet our preferences.

What really made me write this review was the great communication. She responded quickly to all of our questions, gave recommendations, even while we were in Italy, making sure that everything was going smoothly. Having this comfort made our vacation completely stress-free.

Hotel Review

Relais Le Clarisse Rome

This was our favorite hotel on our 2 week vacation. Rome, Florence and Sorrento. We had rooms in the courtyard area which might be the reason we like it so much. The rooms themselves are nothing great but they had everything you needed. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The location, Travestere, was a nice break from all of the crowds in Rome center. Added bonus was that there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

Appian Way by E-bike: Tour with Catacombs, Aqueducts, and Food

Not having high expectations, our family of 4 booked this e-bike tour of aqueducts/Appian/catacombs. We’ve been in Italy for 2 weeks and this was one of the top highlights of our trip. Alex was exceptional, everyone in our family connected with him and had a fantastic time. We wish we could’ve taken him for the rest of our trip.
