This is a fantastic resource. When one of our destinations was cancelled because of holiday, our representative booked us an alternative that was probably better. All the arrangements were fantastic. (Our tour guide in Avignon even helped me out of a typically European parking mishap. He was great!)

Additionally, each of our hotels were fantastic and the car rental was convenient and efficient. We were very pleased (if only someone could have lowered the temperatures in Provence that week. )

This was such a fun trip! Cusco is great city to walk around and explore. Things we learned, give yourself at least a free day after landing in Cusco to acclimate. We missed our first tour because we didn’t feel well. We really enjoyed the Pisac market and wished we would have had more time there. We loved doing 2 different circuits at Machu Picchu. We were able to do a tour with our guide, Robert, in circuit 3 one day. Then did circuit 1 the second day. They are completely different experiences and both worth it. The cooking class at Uchu was incredible. The food was delicious and a really fun experience. Gringo Bills hotel had the most comfortable bed I slept in anywhere in Peru.

Our trip to Morocco was nothing short of magical—a harmonious blend of vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and unparalleled hospitality. We explored iconic cities such as Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, and the tranquil Bin El Ouidane, each offering its own story, charm, and allure. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, starting with the warm welcome of fragrant mint tea and delightful cookies upon check-in. Every riad we stayed at was an oasis of beauty, character, and tranquility. Whether it was the intricate tilework, soaring arches, or the lush gardens, these boutique hotels were a testament to Moroccan craftsmanship and architecture. The staff at our accommodations consistently went above and beyond, from the thoughtful surprise of a wine bottle in our room to ensure we were fully relaxed, to the adorable peacocks and puppies on the property that made each stay all the more memorable. The lavish breakfast spreads, private pools with stunning views, freshest juices and local delicacies, making every morning feel like a feast.

Our itinerary was packed with unforgettable moments, thanks to our tour organizer, who curated an utterly seamless experience. Their knack for uncovering hidden gems was amazing; we visited local markets, explored historical gems like Volubilis, and savored a hearty dinner with a local family in Fez, learning stories passed down through generations. Beyond rich culture and history, adventure was front and center—whether it was riding camels through the Agafay Desert, singing around a bonfire under the stars, or enjoying a thrilling fire show. A highlight of the trip was hiking the Ouzoud Waterfalls, followed by a relaxing spa session at a luxurious Hammam in Marrakech. The professionalism of both our tour operator(Majid) and driver(Khalid) made everything effortless, even when a flight delay and missing luggage threw a challenge our way. The team’s swift action to recover our bags, despite a long detour, showed genuine care and dedication. With an English-speaking driver who was a walking encyclopedia of Morocco’s history and our knowledgeable local guides, every moment was immersive and enriching. We left not only with unforgettable memories but also having made two lifelong friends. Morocco is a destination like no other, and this tour operator has set the gold standard for customer service, making the journey truly extraordinary.

We enjoyed the Royal Palace in Madrid, Alcazar in Seville and the Park Guell, la Basilica de Sagrada Familia and Bogatell beach in Barcelona.

All of the plans from our KimKim specialist Coraima worked out great and were as expected. For the Mallorca portion of our trip, we elected to stay in the Alcudia area at a non-KimKim property as opposed to our specialists recommendation of the Palma area. While we will never know how a stay in Palma would have been, there were some negatives to our pick of an all-inclusive resort in Alcudia. The Alcudia area is beautiful and we had a memorable time there but The resort was jam packed and getting Beach or pool seating accommodations was difficult and costly. We elected a breakfast only plan and found that getting taxis was quite difficult when we wanted to dine outside of our walking distance area.

It was difficult and a hassle to get a desirable pool or beach chair. Or any pool or beach chair for that matter. We ultimately decided to pay additional for seating. Taxi service in the area is poor due to a limited number of cabs. One night we had to cancel a dinner reservation because we weren’t going to get there in time due to the wait for a taxi. There is probably a better choice for a family of four including two teenagers during the high summer season.

The sites are truly magnificent and interesting. With two teenagers in tow and it being our first day of the trip, we found that the length of the excursion was challenging. For the purpose of vacation time management it makes sense to do these two location visits back to back. However, adding a meal time between the two locations would provide a welcome rest and cool down period. Although it would increase the total time of the excursion.

Vicky planned an amazing trip for our family of four to Sydney,,Port Douglas and Melbourne. In Sydney, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the opera house, and the day-long private tour of the Blue Mountains. I had insisted on a whale watching tour, but because of the time of the year (late July) there were no whales about.
Port Douglas was memorable, with an amazing snorkeling experience at the Great Barrier Reef, and zip lining over the Daintree forest.
Melbourne was a beautiful city;,we thoroughly enjoyed the Ocean Road and the walking tour of the city.
Before the trip, Vicky was immensely responsive, crafting several excellent itineraries before we chose this one. She checked in just before the trip and was proactive and immensely responsive during the trip. All transfers and vendors were punctual and professional.

The rooms are extremely dated, and there is a wide disparity among them. The first room that was assigned to our children was below street level and had the odor of mold. Our room, which was on the third floor, was serviceable. The management did move the children’s room to one that was better after we complained. The property is adjacent to a trailer park and has seen better days. I will actively avoid this hotel if I visit again.

It was a scrumptious and memorable experience exploring the culinary delights of Montmartre.

Taking part in the cooking class at Cours Saleya market was a wonderful experience for my husband and me. The chef was excellent, making it both fun and educational. It offered a great opportunity to learn and indulge in local flavors while the others opted to enjoy some swimming. It certainly made for a memorable day.

In the past I have always planned our vacations myself but felt completely overwhelmed trying to organize a (too) short trip to Greece. Erica at KimKim took all the worry out! She collected information from me to help guide her regarding where we wanted to go, how much we wanted to spend, and what activities our family of five including three young men would be interested in. I then sat back and let her go to work and was not disappointed with the results. We were provided with a clear itinerary that we could easily access throughout the trip. And I appreciated the pre-trip check-in with Erica in the week before we left to answer any final questions.
All of our local flights and transfers were set up - and even when we had delays in our flights the provided contact information made it easy to communicate with our drivers in a stress free way. I cannot imagine trying to navigate getting from one place to another on my own.
We stayed in three different amazing hotels - the Dom Boutique in Heraklion, the San Salvatore Monastery in Chania, and the Sweet Home Hotel in Athens. Each was a unique experience with comfortable sleeping and living arrangements, excellent food, and gracious receptionists. We had a dental emergency while in Chania and Irene at the Monastery helped us find a doctor and checked in when we returned.
Our activities included an e-bike tour in Heraklion through the countryside to enjoy coffee in a small village; an authentic Cretan cooking experience in a beautiful house on the mountain overlooking the ocean with an unbelievable meal to finish the day; a hike through a gorge; a trip to the beach followed by lunch at an ecolodge; a self-guided food tour in Athens; and a visit to the acropolis. Each of the family members had a favorite experience but we all enjoyed each of them. Vasilias was our guide to Elafonisi Beach and the ecolodge tour and provided entertainment and education during the trip. Our guide for the Cretan cooking experience not only translated for our chefs but gave the background of the house and family and did a wine tasting as well.
Not sure when or where our next trip will be but I would definitely consider booking again through KimKim

Angela was the absolute best ! She was extremely helpful in helping me navigate where to travel for my first t time in Greece-which seemed a bit daunting for me ! Angela shared a wealth of information and insight to help me plan the perfect trip for my family and I! She was always available and timely in her responses to my questions and concerns. We took a 14 day family trip through Morocco, and Hamza helped us plan our trip. He listened to our interests and accommodated all our requests- from city tours to rock climbing to kite surfing (which did not happen because there was no wind). Hamza connected us with a local tour company who actually handled the trip detail- and Said and Hamza (another Hamza) did a great job taking care of us. Special shout out to Hamza, our driver- a very careful and awesome driver who became our friend after countless hours of driving through Morocco! There were some disappointments- for example, no tour guide at Rabat and we skipped some sites due to miscommunication, but Said was very responsive and fixed the situation as soon as I contacted him. He made sure we had a guide in every city after that. Overall, the trip was fantastic and we learned a lot about the history, food, and people of Morocco. Thank you, Hamza, Said, and Hamza! =)

There was some miscommunication between our trip organizer and the vendor who did not know that we were coming on a windless day , etc. Apparently, the surfing instructor (Salim?) was outstanding but the overall experience was not great. We are still trying get refunded for kitesurfing - we were supposed to kite surf 2 days and it's much more expensive than regular surfing, which we did only 1 day.

Made a short stop at Rabat- Our driver dropped us off at the Mausoleum- we just wandered around without knowing what we were looking at, and a local guide started talking to us. He provided some explanation, which was fine, but then he pressured us to pay him 400 Mdhars. Wish we had a proper guide with us and shown us around a bit more- it looked like an interesting city.

Hector did a great job with the planning and back and forth as I planned my trip to be a little of the beaten path. I would not have known, where to get to the parking lot in the expansive national park in northern Spain for example to ensure the best route to hike to the lighthouse or the best private guide of Barcelona.

Arrival was wonderful having a polite personal driver and clean car started the trip off perfectly, The gallery hotel was perfect they got us into the room as soon as they could after an overnight flight from the US, the location was excellent and the breakfast vast with so much choice. Our private guide Diana was amazing, once she saw our pace we were able to effectively cover two tours in one as she was keen to show us everything she was so vested in our experience, The tour with her was the highlight of the trip for the whole family. I liked being sent her mobile number prior, live updating in the app and it was easy to meet her at the set meeting area. She also took us in a local market which we loved and were able to buy fresh juices, I can’t say enough about how thoughtful and thorough she was.

The hotel was ideally located for meals and walking on Las Ramblas and was in a very high end neighborhood that felt safe and vibey.

Getting the car rental at Sixt was easy with Hectors simple walking instructions. It was noted to be aware they would try to upsell you and we were somewhat forced into spending more as they said we had no “scratch protection” and any small scratch would cost up to 500.00 euros so we felt force to spend an extra 250.00 euros I think, we got an upgrade on the car and it served us perfectly for the week ahead. Just dealing with sixt and getting out of Barcelona was tricky.

The drive was great with the given instructions we would never have known to stop in beautiful Pals.
hotel El Convento was beautiful and they welcomed us, I would not say the staff were particularly friendly or warm, the room with the extra bed suited our needs, we particularly enjoyed walking to the nearby beach down a steep path of which parking would have been really hard, we also enjoyed the free shuttle to another beach in an very clean electric Mercedes with our personal driver. Again parking would have been impossible. The breakfast was vast and very good. My only complaint was that there were ALOT of very small babies, when I would have preferred adults only or 12 plus only ( which I actually thought it was ) as the hallways given the historic nature of the hotel were very noisy making it hard to sleep. This was a shame,

We had a private kayaking trip, Julia the guide was great, I felt it was worth it to have the private guide as we were fast to paddle to the cove and therefore got more time snorkeling than the group that arrived much later. I would recommend the private kayaking,

We enjoyed the planned drive to Cadaqués, Hector has us going through the stunning national park with breathtaking views and stops along the way, Cadaques was the highlight of the trip, so beautiful, Hotel Boutique Gala was stunning again the breakfast was very good and the room with cot was perfect, the parking was a HUGE bonus and its location for walking the town was perfect. the staff were very friendly making us dinner reservations and accommodating any needs

.We had a private tour meeting in Besalu and this is the only part of the trip I wouldn’t recommend, we had to drive 1.5 hours back on ourselves, Ramon the guide was out of touch with speaking to our twelve year old, lrgwly talking about himself, we had to cut the tour short as we had to get back to Cadaques for dinner reservations we had not known it was three hours driving plus being driven to simply “ look” at villages in Ramon’s own car and being dropped at a restaurant for lunch while he waited so in effect lying to be taking for lunch. Besalu was lovely but it would have been fine by ourselves and EN ROUTE to Cadaques not drive back, even he was surprised we had done that.

Again we had a wonderful time in Cadaques it was fun to be just 14 km from the French border and give us a totally different feel of Spain and Barcelona,

Return to Barcelona was great after spending the day hiking the national park and swimming in secluded coves per Hecots recommendations, with Hector’s guidance we saw so much and really feel we got a flavor for Spain off the beaten track rather than the initial plan he put forth of Barcelona and Madrid, he really got a feel for what I wanted, which was essentially, city and coastal.

Taking the car back to Barcelona ( which I worked with him on as initially he was having us drop it back in the city) but I wanted it back at the airport was ease of departure the next day, the airport hotel was just ok, the staff were not friendly and the rooms were very dark, I would have liked another night in Barcelona but we had to get up at six am anyway to leave so getting out of the city with traffic would have been hard, so it was the right decision.

Overall Hector was absolutely wonderful, listening, taking on board my feedback, coming back with new suggestions really getting a feel for our family, he even added in a trip to the lighthouse, our 12 year old loves lighthouses! And we didn’t even know there was one!!!

I felt like my trip and what I desired was a little different. Half way through the planning I decided to upgrade to the luxury accommodation level ( I liked that Kim Kim offered the different levels ) and private guides I am really glad I did this, I thought if we were spending the money we wanted to go luxury. My overall experience with Kim Kim was fantastic that being said I don’t know if I would use them again as the planning was $300 which was fine but the service fee of over $300 for essentially nothing was too much, so $600 on the trip and no breakdown to see where the fees were coming from,

I am usually not one to use the help of a travel agency. We had a few trips this summer and I was especially nervous about taking kids age 9 and 6 to a developing country where we not speak the language very well. Michael from KimKim was responsive and helped me secure hotel stays with suites so our family of 4 could comfortably enjoy our stay. Michael helped pick out specific activities (and then rearrange when kids and my husband had new ideas) that were fun, educational and unique to Colombia. One of our favorites was making coconut crafts with the Damartes, an organization of women that receives micro-finance loans from the government to lift families out of poverty. The actual workshop was fairly limited on the number of items that could be made but the concept really opened the eyes of my privileged kids. Although Cartagena and Medellin (especially where the tourists stay) are now fairly safe, it was nice not to have one adult constantly have their phone out and tracking an uber. The car transfers were safe and efficient. Michael also booked a local one way flight from Cartagena and to Medellin, which was a breeze. Our guides Eddie (in Cartagena) and Pablo (in Medellin) were fantastic with children motivating them with ice cream breaks and keeping our conversation interesting to little minds. We truly enjoyed the help of KimKim to help curate and organize an incredible family trip to Colombia we could not have planned ourselves!

Othman went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. This was a trip of a lifetime. We 100% will use kimkim again and recommend Othman to other who travel to Iceland in the future.

Mariano was an excellent tour guide through Arenal. He was friendly and knowledgable and made the trip fun!
Alex was an excellent driver, despite being stuck in non moving traffic for more than 2 hours, he kept his cool and was still a delight to have driving us.
The communication with Kim Kim and Elena was great as well.
This was an experience I will not forget.

There was a miscommunication in our transport to this activity.

Bruno was very responsive and so helpful. I had flight issues going to Croatia and leaving as well, and he was able to be super flexible in reorganizing my transfer and everything else. He also gave great suggestions for restaurants and was available everyday via Whatsapp. I also heard from hotel staff that he's their favorite person to work with, always sharing info ahead of time so the hotels have time to manage any guest needs.

Guides were amazing, drivers were great, accommodations were great choices (loved the historic and boutique hotels ), excursions were first rate, just an all around fun trip!
